Well ok. I'm gonna do it. Can't promise I'll ever finish it because of my horrible track record finishing stuff like this, but whatever.
Here's what I had in mind for a storyline:
Basically, I'll be heavily ripping off Pokémons, Yu-Gi-Oh, and stuff like that. In the first episode, Kai (the protagonist) gets bullied by some of his classmates because he's too poor to play Faulty Kai. He's a sad puppy, and somehow an old guy (based on mr Miyagi from Karate Kid) sees him and decides to give him his old collection of Space Mariners, and teaches Kai the basics of playing the game. The next day, Kai returns to school with Calgar, the leader of his Space Mariners, and gets laughed at because the SM are considered an antiquated and ineffective force to play with. But Kai believes in THE HEART OF THE MINIS and thus does surprisingly well.
After that, every episode will be Kai fighting another opponent. First a few of his schoolmates, all the way up ti the dreaded Ko-Ma, the guy who has mastered the art of "move and shoot", and who can win games even in his sleep!
All opponents will be stupid stereotypes. Like the IG player FROM AMERICA (IG aren't played in Japan), the Necron player who believes only in numbers not in the heart of the minis and who calculates his every move on his laptop, the Tau player who fields retarded super-heavies in low point games becasue FUCK THE RULES I HAVE MONEY, etc... |
