He saw infinity, streaming out before him, and all the world made sense. He rose from his seat, wanting to scream it out for all the world to hear. He did scream, as the hot tea scalded his groin, the cup tipping over as he rose, placing his hands on the old and unsteady table. And he lost it. He lost it all. Even as one of the waitresses fussed over to him, proffering a towel, he simply stared, desperately trying to find that truth, that incredible freedom. But it was gone. He sighed, and ordered another cup of tea. He shoved his hand in his pocket, and drew out the exact change for the meal, even though, up until then, that pocket had been completely empty...
