Well, Survival is admittedly of less importance in an urban setting, though you would still have your considerable Athletics and Brawl skills to bear. Say you have Strength 4, Dexterity 2, Athletics (Archery) 4, Fightan' Style (Archery) 2, a compound bow, and some self-crafted bodkin arrows. That would add up to 4 + 2 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 13 dice, ignores Defense, Armor Piercing 4, which is not too shabby for a starting character, as much as it is surely no multiattacking monstrosity. If you are deprived of your bow, you would still have, say, Brawl (Claws) 4 for 8 dice of unarmed lethal damage as a backup weapon. You could make a fine wolf-Rambo, although your stealthiness would be wanting.

Little Red herself would really be up to the individual player, specifically, how the player envisions what she was like as a mortal and what talents she honed during her durance. She could have been an aloof nerd, an active and athletic lady, a caring mother figure, anything works, really. Mechanically, you would be best off investing in Presence, Expression, Intimidation, and the Striking Looks 4 (what an adorable girl~) merit, as those traits are what the Contracts of Vainglory call for. Alternatively, if you wish for a more Physical-based incarnation along the lines of B.B. Hood (the lass in >>5894211), bringing to bear abilities straight from wuxia films and the Matrix, you could look into the Contracts of Separation from Winter Masques, which rely upon Dexterity, Presence, Larceny, and Persuasion. Both of these contracts would be affinity contracts for the Fairest.
I would also say perhaps a dot of Survival would be fitting, given the outdoor nature of the classic tale. |
