The druid and dragons survive the Great Stir

The power granted to the druid by the dying core not only kept him alive and untwisted through the Great Stir but also gave him free will.

With the last of the great powers granted by the core, the druid shaped all the worlds and galaxies of the the entire Prime material plane, bringing it to a greater beauty than even that of the core.

One must consider that the gods aren't all hivemind, many had different reasons for destroying the core many even benevolent, despite what the drawings in the last thread would suggest.

The gods created life for all their own reasons, yet some created life to mirror the brave mortal, some gods chose to impart the teachings of the druid on their creations.

Time passed, worlds developed, civilizations grew...

Guys things mostly calm down around this point

The mortals, always trying to carve out a niche for themselves, end up stepping on one another's toes (remember more life has been created so mortals aren't just essentially humanoids)

The Dragons, aligning themselves with gods, devils(evil gods), and even nature, fight amonst each other when a conflict arises

The demons are now fighting to establish hierarchy although the main conflict is which of the great old ones will be the last one standing.

And well, the gods and the devils mostly fight, but end up inadvertently establishing territories rather than (metaphorically speaking) entrenching themselves for some gigantic war.

And there are points where different groups piss eachother off, you guys know how conflicts work.

Basically these formative centuries are just a naturally occurring survival of the fittest dealio, the important thing is, throughout this all, societies are forming, nature and civilization stakes claims across the universe, a setting is formed.

Over time, many changes occur to the former titans, some regain parts of their past sentience, to most, theis only makes them more vile, but in one, it brings about something completely different...

guilt, remorse, a sense of duty to make up the terrible acts committed that led to the great stir.

One demon and his most faithful servants, left their lost brethren, seeking out whatever merciful gods they could find might they right their wrongdoings, they became known as "the redeemed ones", or in the language of the ancients, the archons.

Over time, they hoped more would follow their path.

The demons that remained eventually narrowed their "search" to one leader, he, being the last of the true great old ones, was simply titled "The Great Old One" perhaps one of the demons found it funny to shoten this to T'goo.


Perhaps all the other demons killed that demon instantly.

Now with a leader, the demons had direction, purpose...

T'goo and his minions siezed the planet of corodai, etc, etc...

The demons conquered planet by planet, enslaving and converting their new slaves into terrifying monstrosities, etc...

WHY DO DEMONS ALWAYS DO THIS, SERIOUSLY

The Archons, who quickly earned the trust of the gods, would be tested one last time...

With how elaborate this is, i imagine that you would enjoy one of my old campaigns. we had 3 campaigns by different names. and we didnt even know it, but they were all intertwined. The archons lured the demons to an island continent of a small planet (WHICH I HAVEN'T NAMED YET, I AM HORRIBLE AT NAMING SHIT, but I have named the continents) with the controlled release of powerful magic essence, like blood to a shark, the plan worked beautifully.

Yes, the demons were surprised and many died in the ambush, but the tides quickly turned when...

The Ruler Archon, dying, had a plan to return to the world one day and until then, if all went well, would still be able to influence it for the better.

Unfortunately, it involved putting himself in the bloodline of a devout mortal, which there were plenty of at the battle I can assure you.

But the archon wasn't finished, before transferring his essence, he had one more trick up his sleeve.

The island this battle took place on was forever on known as luminat island.

The rest of the demons fled to where nobody would look for them, where nobody would even WANT to look for them...
