!.QqkDUCQV2 11/19/09(Thu)00:12 No.6767940>Okay, since tricking the leader is the agreed upon most popular plan, I'm going to start writing that. What happens after you've got control is still up for debate.
The fey camp was utterly surprised when a group of six humans walked up to the edge of camp and demanded to see their leader. What was more surprising was the offer they made.
"We want those three Lunars you're holding captive. We want to play a little game with you to try and win them back. Interested?"
Well, of course he was interested. But before he agreed, he needed to know the terms.
"Simple. This man here is name Passing Shadows, and is a Lunar as well. The two of you are going to play a shapeshifting game. He'll take a form, and then you try to match it. The first one to run out of shapes loses. If we win, you give us the prisoners and leave this area forever. If we win...we'll become your prisoners as well. Agreed?"
The fey spellweaver was almost beside himself with joy. To his mind, there was no way to lose. Too bad the only outside interference he forbode was a violent attack on either party, or spells to help one endure longer. So, he and Passing Shadows played. Hawk, panther, cobra, newt, halibut. All these and more flashed by. But then Shadow became a horse. And so did the elf. Which, of course, is when you made your move. The bridle was over his head before he even realized what happened.
Congrats, you've enslaved a fey! What are you going to do now? inb4 Go to Disneyworld. |
