We either force the two to coexist within the hive, resulting in the feud between the two claiming more collateral damage, or we split them apart with the arrangement where Fury has first pick, leading to Fury's inevitable abandoning of the hive with his splinter group of superior offspring following some kind of survival of the fittest mentality.

I would suggest that option 3 at least has a CHANCE of working: We must find an advanced sentient or two within the hive with no strong ties to either primarch and then take them in and try to raise their social influence to the same level as Messiah and Fury. Hopefully by complicating the situation, we can stop it from becoming a "them vs. us" situation and hence reduce the amount of ill will between the two.

Establish how many humans live on the farm.
