Looking at some of the dwarf trading post maps, they all seem to be above ground ones that are hundreds of miles away. You casually head to the counter to pay for your maps. You mention that you met a dwarf of the Bjornson clan, and as if the proprietor has any maps of their... land? A wrinkled and balding man in tiny spectacles look sup at you from a ledger. "Maps of the Dwarf mines are pretty rare for humans to come in contact with. The Bjornsons have the most contact with humans, but they guard their mines carefully. I have a selection of their trading posts, however. They have one here in town, but it hardly needs a map. It's a big building downtown. The city map you've selected has it." You ask about the Elflands. "You and everyone else. With the roads opening soon, they've become a rare commodity. I have one, only one hundred years old, that I may be willing to part with... for a price."The way he says that makes you hesitant. You'll hold off for now, Faral may have a map herself after all. You pay the two silver for the maps you have and leave the shop. Taking a look at the map... it has everything important. The Merchant Quarter, the College, the four bridges over the river, and notable shops. You seem to be near the mercantile district, where you should be able to find a tailor. You'll need to swing by the inn to get the bolt of silk though. |
