It's a fun concept, but it's moving too slowly and got bumped off the front page almost as soon as it was created with ~20 people spamming unit actions + roleplay. Do it with a more well defined turn span listed in the OP, and fewer total units. You'd probably be able to eke out more turns in total, and wouldn't get as many people randomly leaving in the middle of the thread.

You could try organizing the units into squads within the OP, and assume that the first order taken from any unit in an individual squad is executed by the entire squad. Would solve the problem of inactive players cluttering the board.

Well besides starting it earlier so I could play I really don't have much to add to the list of things that need to be worked on. You may want to come up with a way for non-character players to be involved though. Something like Walker's TA role, but with a bit more influence.
