You scream like a little girl, but to little avail; you end up red faced and panting.

Then you return to the cookie jars, and open the blue one after knocking and shaking it. Didn't sound like cookies... and no, it isn't cookies. Instead there are rolls and rolls of banknotes inside...

You look down at the TV. Yes, that's where the piano music is from. Or so you think.

You try to activate the TV again, and then you realise you are on Xbox. You don't recall turning it on... maybe you did so accidentally? You look down. Yes, the console is on...

The screen is still not working though, no matter how you manipulate the cables. On the good side, the roar outside has somewhat subsided, and you can hear what sounds like drum beats over the piano music.

Except the drum beats aren't in rhythm.

    >>7654515

You take off the blanket and pile your stuff in it. Well, beats having to stuff your pockets. Still, you don't tie it up yet since you still haven't decided what to do with the Xbox and TV...

That's enough information for you to decide, and you step out into the cold with your load of items. To your left the hallway gets darker and darker until you can see nothing, a pure mass of shadow along which there are several other doors, not unlike the one you just closed.

Very well. You feel no need to hold the door open this time, and let it close behind you as you shine your flashlight around.

The more you shine it around, though, the more you are convinced that it's not the surface of the tiles that have a different colour - your flashlight itself is changing its colour. Shining on the same spot after shining away yields a different hue.

Nonetheless, you turn around with your new technicolor flashlight, away from the rhythmic wooshing sound and towards where you think you know the light is....

Your presence of mind allows you to notice the large black bag that's lying on the floor in front of you. You step over it and reach for the switch and find it.

    You flip it.

Nothing happens by way of light. Instead you suddenly feel, literally, as if someone is running a feather duster up your back. You turn around and nearly trip on the black bag... but there is no one. And the feather duster's still going.

    >>7656134

You look all around you, starting to feel a bit dizzy with your spine all tingling and the light constantly changing colour. You shine up to the ceiling and see two small dots of light, some distance to your right. But when you shine your flashlight at it, it disappears in the brighter light.

You nudge the bag, once, and again. Nothing. No movement. You focus your flashlight on it. It's a garbage bag, or may be several of them somehow sewn together.

All of a sudden, the bag begins thrashing around furiously but restrainedly, writhing as whoever it is inside screams muffledly. Then you start hearing the same thing to your left. And to your right. And farther ahead.

Muffled screaming, and the thrashing and scrashing sounds of plastic bags being crumpled and re-crumpled...

There is no way you can restrain this with just your hands, so you throw your whole body on the bag. The screaming from inside grows louder and higher-pitched, but the struggles weaken under your weight.

You quickly bring your fork to bear and stab several holes in the plastic, before gripping it and tearing it apart. Finally a large enough gap is made, and you shine your flashlight on what is clearly a human...

... who then sits up violently, knocking the flashlight out of your hand. 'Who are you? WHO ARE YOU!?' he knocks his head against you. 'LEAVE NOW! ABOVE YOU! THE EYES!'

Alerted to this, you shift your gaze up to the ceiling. Then you realise there are now more of those spots of light. Three. Four. Five. Many. Many...

... right, now I'm off to bed and the probable nightmare. Thanks, it was a great evening.
