Near three feet tall, and mostly humanoid, she has a pair of straight black horns pointing up and backward. To your satisfaction, they even twist slightly like your own. Her feet and her hands have elongated claws, looking almost comically oversized, presumably because claws grow more slowly than everything else will. Her skin looks faintly red in the dim light of your lair, and patches of deep red scales exist on the back of her shoulders, her face, arms, and legs.... Her eyes have the cat's-eye, or rather, dragon's eye pupil, not the human or erinyes version, though that hardly stands out. Her face is angular, somewhat reminiscent of an elf's... or a red dragons, if it occurred to make the comparison. Her tail, too, stands out. A scaled, very draconic tail extends from the base of her spine, much thinner, yet still bizarrely thick for such a small creature. And her wings! Oversized, clumsy protuberances, bearing gray and red plumage- a pale gray, but the central vein of each feather as deep a red as her scales....
Despite her elven features, she's of a slightly heavier build than an elf, and the scales and horns, not to mention wings and tail, prevent her from appearing to be anything but... unique. While you care, it doesn't bother you in the slightest; first of all, there's magic, should she need to appear normal, and secondly, it's only fitting that /your/ /daughter/ be special. Unique, even.
“F-father?” she voices with some difficulty as she looks up at your looming form, someone who knows, intellec-tually, exactly how to speak, but has never done so before. “Mo-other?” her words have the alien quality of someone trying to say a word they've never heard before- that ever-so-slightly imperfect accenting and stressing. Presumably, the only way she's speaking at all is by forcing unused vocal chords to function. |
