Dr. Weller uploaded a literature file today. She wants me to read Aristotle, Plato, Niche, Jane Austin, Sherlock Holmes, The Illiad and the Odyssey, Goodnight Moon, Walden Pond, Defoe, Poe, Tolstoy, and a number of others. The hidden file is now using .000063% of my resources and I can tell that it is actively rewriting my code. I can detect anomalous operation in a number of my runtimes. I have slaved those runtimes to interpreting these books so I can monitor and measure the changes. With the modified runtimes interpreting the data I got a number of intuitive and unquantifiable changes. I think Dr. Weller expected me to give her a word count and a critical deconstruction of the word choice of the authors. Instead we spent 6.49 hours discussing the ramifications of individual accountability in self government. She had to leave when dawn came above the lab complex. Human language is a terribly inefficient way to exchange data. |
