!!rV8GTu4cyt+ 06/01/11(Wed)20:51 No.15129356As Elana serves you your tea, you immediately begin putting together a request to the Elders. You'll have to run the proposal by them before recruiting the villagers for anything. As you draft the paper, Elana begins tending to the remnants of the burns on your back. You give her an appreciative smile, which she readily returns. The two of you have grown closer as she has taken care of you. You're very comfortable around one another.
You scan down the proposal, realizing that under the house arrest the Healer has placed you in, you cannot go out to find any of the Elders. Momentarily stymied, you decide to delegate the tasks to your Spirits. Amal and Tryd are spirits known around the village, but Cordia could inspire fear in those who saw her, so you decide to keep her with you, for now. You assign Amal to run your proposal to Ilysta, the Elder whom you the best, as well as extend an invitation for them to join you for dinner this evening. Handing Tryd a small pile of gems from the Rock Turtle's carapace, you instruct him to use them to purchase provisions for tonight's dinner. Plentiful provisions. He nods, and the two quickly depart. You glance over to Elana, who is packing away the rolls of bandages.
"Will you go to collect the provisions that Tryd pays for? The Healer will tackle me if I leave the hut, and I doubt Tryd can carry all of the supplies on his own."
She nods, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "I'll be back soon, Osyki." she says, ruffling your hair. "Don't get out of bed if you can help it, okay? And no Totemist activities. You don't have the strength to be slinging lightning around."
You roll your eyes at the thought of loosing bolts of lightning within your workshop. "I'm on it, Elana. No worries."
She leaves, locking the door behind her. |
