Due to cold weather, the Frillalings have have developed a fiber-optic like fur, which still allows them to communicate while staying warm. Cozy too, and can be harvested any time the Frillalings molt.


The Frilla tree's themselves develop a kind of curtain, a series of fibers that hang down from the lips of the uppermost platforms, This keeps the insides warm much like insulation, especially due to the fuzz on the curtain making it anywhere from a foot thick to several feet, depending on where it is. This curtain is also similar to fiber optics, and still allows for communication between trees.

people seems to focus more on one type of genus at any one time, and sometimes the differences in adaptation from one species to the next is rediculous.

not to mention diversity in traits, i mean where's camoflauge, mimicry, i can only remember one instance of symbiosis, sociability? (hive behaviour), i'd also like to know mating behaviours, like do they clone? sexually reproduce? do they collect in hordes and migrate in certain seasons?

are you guys really this uncreative, i'm sure nature could have done better

Welp I'll adapt.

Meet the frostrowgs. The first ethnic deviation of the frowmagnons and in fact genetically compatible if they were to cross tribes. Their pigments have become a glossy light blue to ivory color. They're renown as the phantoms of the snow to the frowmagnon southern landers due to their frightening visage and frilla-fluff bundled form. Coursing through their veins is a mildly toxic and unappetizing anti-freeze concoction that allows them to hibernate in the middle of the tundra alongside their wooly frillalings.

(Sorry if this was a lame one. I was just humoring the roll which was optional to begin with. In other news, frog inuits. Who knew?)

hohoho, well done! Anyways, the current events in the tundra happened roughly after black dawn. Also, there are primitive mevolas, ones which doesn't move, in the tundra. Obviously, adaptation to the cold and wind is kinda required. As for tribes, still on hold until i get back home in 5 days.

Rowling for rasig grass!

The rasig have adapted to the cold climate already, however a new influx of creatures has given it a new way to spread itself. Instead of creating many seeds all over itself it is slowly beginning to store the seeds in a pod, or fruit. The fruit grows in the upper parts of the rasig and is bright for others to eat. In addition slight tundra camouflage is creeping into its system.

Well, I don't really think it should have eyes yet.... so I'll just stick with fur.

Rollin' for Bord birds!

The Lem find the cold of the tundra beneficial to their gelatinous bodies, they do not freeze, but they do grow more massive and dense. They begin to become more opaque and produce less spores, instead surviving off detritus and sunlight, occasionally taking in ice for water. They are completely oblivious to the potential of their new forms...perhaps it is best that way...they now have elaborate rituals of flexing to see which Lem is the most Alpha of them all.

Bords develop poison on the tips of their beaks and their toes

The fruitingrasig begins to grow a deeproot system. This allows for the rasig to grow back even if things dig up their main body and upper root system.

The furlongs have grown long toes to walk on top of snow without sinking as much, allowing them to move faster to avoid being eaten.

They also have grown large eyelashes to shield them from the harsh wind and snow.

Furlongs start to attack Rasig Fruitbearers to survive.

To help them get the fruit, they have developed longer tails with ax-like blades at the end, to chop and skew the fruit and leaves of the plant.

An offshoot of furlong appears more suited to life in the tundra. Teeth for chewing plants, a stockier body, feet for walking on snow, and camouflage for hiding from predators

there's 3 continents, east central and west. East biomes are tundra, island, lake, and shrubs aka mainland. Central biomes are prairie, mountain, marsh, and jungle. West biomes are desert, forest, river, and cave. Abyss biome is between east and west.

Some of the Mashes of the tundra have evolved to be closer in color to the snow. They have taken to lying in wait and have slower metabolisms to boot. Less charging more planning.

The new energy hungry bodies of the Lem drive them to do something they have never done before. Take Position as the Apex predator. The Lem, while fast and strong, are not smart. When a Lem gains enough mass, it divides into two new Lem. Most species of the tundra are not able to defend against them. The Lem maintain a dog like companionship with the frowmagnons despite being slightly taller and more massive then them. The Frowmagnons treat them like retards. :(

To better outrun the Lem, the limbs of the Furlong have become stronger and they can now run at the speeds of cheetah on normal ground.

The males have also grown a patch of grey fur on their backs.

some of the sull develop a mottled blue and white pigmentation to help camouflage them and their legs become partly blood pressure controlled much like those of a spider to help them to quickly escape from the ambushes of the match.

The mash have gained stronger back legs for more vicious pounces. They have also gained some small amount of white on their carapaces to help them disguise in their ambushes.

With their bigger kills mashes have found themselves growing larger. Now at the size that can target the frowstwogs when conditions allow them to, mainly during snowstorms.

The Furlong begin to grow bones out of their body, which serves as armor to protect them.

In addition, they have grown their claws back and start to prey on Mash children.

paracos and furlongs are related but not the same anymore due too different pathways the poison they develop is actually just high concentration of bacteria that they have now become immune to they also grow a warmer white coat.
