Due to cold weather, the Frillalings have have developed a fiber-optic like fur, which still allows them to communicate while staying warm. Cozy too, and can be harvested any time the Frillalings molt.
The Frilla tree's themselves develop a kind of curtain, a series of fibers that hang down from the lips of the uppermost platforms, This keeps the insides warm much like insulation, especially due to the fuzz on the curtain making it anywhere from a foot thick to several feet, depending on where it is. This curtain is also similar to fiber optics, and still allows for communication between trees. |
