You are a Magical Girl, and things aren't exactly looking up for your life expectancy at the moment. You haven't been helping with the alcohol and painkiller abuse, not to mention letting a particular pink-haired bitch from the afterlife get under your skin and turn you into some sort of bloodthirsty serial killer - but this could be a turning point in your career. The one that'll get you that long sleep you thought would never come.
It's been a rough night. Getting shanghaied into a maid uniform was one thing, babysitting a two-time Principal through six hours of exorbitant capitalist excess was quite another. Sure, there were some interesting bits here and there, the most interesting of which where you managed to vent some steam by ventilating a handful of operators while giving a group of shrieking concubines another happy smile just below their chins - but things may be crashing to a very abrupt halt very soon. Of course that all depends on the twelve, thirteen-feet tall demon jonesing for some delicious Magical Girl snacks. He's obviously hungry, that you can tell - but the fact that he's also angry as fuck doesn't escape you. You'd be pissed off too if you had a brass tri-point spear still lodged in your skull after a failed lobotomy. You should thank your best friend Kyoko Sakura later - that is, if she's still alive afte this. If you're still alive after this. It's amazing how clear things get when you accept that you're moments away from dying. And just to mix things up so it doesn't get boring, you actually pressed the button on that golden cross your arms dealer Misaka gave you. Now, you like her and all and she's got your best interests at heart, bless her soul, but sometimes you just have to step back and think: do I want to be a guinea pig to untested technology again? You can't believe you've forgotten the lesson you learned, way back then. Whisky-infused pancakes. What an idea. They had to lock you in the Silent Room for three months just to get you to go cold turkey and wean you off the damn things.
I've been waiting for this!
But what's done is done. You pressed it, and now you must deal with the ten-foot tall giant standing in front of you, a veritable walking tank of black armor gilded with bright, polished bronze. The elephantine helm coal-black, with crimson light smouldering behind slitted lenses, the red bleeding into the curvature of the tusks jutting out from its snout. Its pauldrons, huge and nigh spherical, displaying jagged markings and the emblems of factions you probably don't want to know about right now. Both its fists are swollen for some reason - almost as big as its own torso, with bulky fists you're sure is made for punching something really hard until it doesn't exist anymore. You also see what looks like a giant, long-handled hammer with a rectangular head the size of a coffin - one you're sure that you could fit comfortably in and have enough firepower to take over the afterlife - mag-locked to its back, the business end crackling every now and then with black electricity. All you know is that you summoned it, it's here, and you have to deal with it.How do you deal?[]Point it towards the daemon formerly known as Kilgore.[]Try asking who it is.[]Genuflect.

>>19963825 >>19963840 >>19963842As wary as you are of the armored giant - hell, you think even Kirika would have second thoughts before even thinking of tangling with this heavily-armed bastard - you bite your lip and decide to place your bets on what Misaka had told you. Press butan, receive friendly walking tank of desecration, she did say. And she hasn't really failed you yet. There's no time to make nice, anyway. You hear Kilgore roar as it manages to pull out Kyoko's spear from its eye socket - ripping its own eye free from its skull - and it's with a ground-shaking gait that it barrels into your direction. You look up at the black armored giant, before cocking your head towards the onrushing daemon.[COMPLIANCE] It rumbles, its voice like an oncoming storm. Its movements deliberate, almost ponderous, the ground shakes as it turns in place with one step - before suddenly lunging forward. Moving much more faster, much more violently than something of that size should be allowed to move. So quick that you feel the slipstream of its movements kick the hem of your skirt up, which you don't exactly tend to.You're too busy staring, slack-eyed, as the armored giant slams right into the dragon, head-on, with the force of impact so palpable it blasts outward from their meeting point in an ever-expanding circle of turbulence. Nearly throwing you off your feet again.[1/2]
>suggested course of action:>activate shield thingy storage>recieve Reaper Autocannon>provide support fire while Termie beats Killgores face>give Reaper to Termie as a reward, Termies love Reaper>rescue Kyoko>collect Golden Gloves, give them to QB for safekeeping, also give him DEagle>get shitfaced enough to forget about the incident
>>19963979[2/2][DIE, SLAVE OF THE FALSE EMPEROR] The Terminator blurts in a deafening burst of vox-corrupted voice before smashing one of its heavily-armored fists right into Kilgore's deformed maw - inhuman black blood gouting out as bone, sinew and muscle gives way to unyielding ceramite. Kilgore is smashed through a particularly expensive-looking hall of paintings - and as the armored giant follows suit, it reaches over fluidly with one hand to unlatch the hammer from its back. Gripping it with two fists and advancing, each step shaking the ground.Whatever that was, it's keeping Kilgore busy at the moment. What do you do? You probably would want to check up on Kyoko, or go and give fire support to your new best friend.

>>19963996 >>19963998 >>19963999You decide that the big guy's got this shit locked down, by the way he's currently using Kilgore's head as a hockey puck with that hammer of his - each impact discharging some sort of electricity that makes your teeth each, not to mention wince as it sounds remarkably painful. You turn away from them and hurry towards Kyoko's supine form, the faux butler on her back and currently unconscious. You take a moment to sweep some dust away from the spot on the floor next to Kyoko, before lying down there as well. Taking this rare opportunity to just take it easy, while an armored giant is doing its level best to reduce a giant daemonic being's face into salsa chunks just the next room over.A moment's silence, and it's then that you reach over and briefly tap your soul gem against hers - the crimson gem pinned on her lapel sparking as it comes it contacts with yours. Immediately, Kyoko's chest heaves, and her one eye opens, blinking rapidly as she seems to realize just where she is."M-Murderface...?" She just manages to say, her voice strained. "What...what're we doing here like this? Why're we on our backs all of a sudden?"[1/2]
I, for one, am not thrilled by this W40k incursion. It was pretty fun when it was throaways easter eggs, but full blown daemon and terminator ?

Stop...stop trying to be funny, Murderface. It's not funny." She tries to get up, wincing. "...Fuck. Back's broken. Bastard got me good. Ahh, Christ, does this have to happen now...?"You get up immediately and pat your skirt down for dust. Not that it gets any cleaner, what with all the BLOOD all over your front or anything. You tell her to just stay down - you'll make sure that the backup, whenever it comes in, gets her immediately to Headquarters for repair."S-sorry, Murderface." Kyoko looks sheepish, guilty almost. "I....w-was supposed to be your backup and shit. Now I can't even assist." She laughs, lamely. "Some friend I am, huh?"How do you respond?
>>19964144>How do you respond?"You saved me from going crazy just a little while ago. That helped plenty, don't worry."

"O-of course I consider you one, you fuckin' idiot! What the hell k-kinda question is that? I...nghk.." You hear Kyoko choke as she presses the heel of one hand against her remaining eye, as if trying to physically bar tears from pouring out. "T-this is just great, isn't it...? One that stops her right in mid-sob, her one eye wide and staring."M-Murderface..."You could have said more, of course. You could have told her that even if you've been your insufferable self the entire time, she had stuck with you, and even volunteered for this operation even though she didn't actually have to. You also see something else that's broken in three pieces, too - your big friend's right arm, embedded in a wall, the armored hand still gripping the haft of the hammer, frozen stiff in rigor mortis. What's left of his upper arm is hanging from underneath his pauldron, a sheaf of wires sparking intermittently from the nearly-shattered hemispherical shoulderpad.Kilgore's face is barely recognizable, and you see that he's limping on his right foot - the limb reduced to a battered, twisted appendage that snaps sickeningly every movement it makes with it. You probably don't need to use a Grief Seed at the moment - and it's then that you catch your reflection on the amethyst's surface....You're going to have to hide these eyes somehow. You rack the shield again, as you try to think of something that would be powerful enough to end this little charade. The Shield has always been fickle with what it gives you. Sometimes it gives you what you need, sometimes it's a completely different thing entirely. It's never gotten you killed, but it has gotten more than enough people around you reduced to nothing but smithereens. The crunching of gears, your Shield automatically sliding back into its original position - and you open your eyes as you feel the weight of a freshly-loaded Barrett XM500 Semi-Automatic Anti-Material Rifle on your hands. Wasting no time as you drop to one knee - not bothering to jump behind cover - you brace against the wall behind you, click the firearm off its safety, and aim through the scope. Kilgore has his back turned to you, still busy mauling your new buddy.Your shield is clicking again. Incessantly. The gems glowing crimson.[]Shoot. Until the clip goes dry.[]Make sure. >>19964735 >>19964733 >>19964740You bite your lip as you center your sights on Kilgore. At this distance, training the crosshairs exactly is overkill - you know that as long as you manage to hit, the damage dealt will be enough. But you make sure. That's what a professional is all about, even if you have to do this in a bloody maid costume. The only thing that would make this even more of a perfect hit would be if you stopped time, right now, just to give you a second's worth of satisfaction of seeing his expression as he stares at the .50 round about to utterly destroy him.As Kilgore draws back a golden fist to deliver the killing blow, it's then that you murmur his name. Loud enough for him to hear from right across the room. The moment that he looks at you is the moment you pull the trigger....You've braced yourself inadequately. The kick of the rifle upsets your aim, throwing it a couple of millimeters off - and you brace for another shot as you see the daemon's right arm shear itself away from the rest of its body with a meaty tearing sound, as if deciding that it was finally done with all this business and deciding to go back to its home planet (where it was direly needed). The arm's journey is stopped halfway due to the massive weight of the golden bangle, and it drops to the ground like a brick. Your ears are ringing from the report, and you are dimly aware of your ears bleeding. You shoot. Again. This time, half of Kilgore's face is gone. Just gone. Vaporized. Reduced to mist. But he's still roaring. He's still moving. He launches himself at you as you depress the trigger into the handle. Shifting the rifle from its flat angle to a raised one as you follow the daemon's path towards you. Shooting it again and again and again.

Letting the smoking rifle drop from your now slack hands as you let the adrenalin - what's left of it - slowly seep out of your body. You wait for a few moments before reaching back to draw your pack of cigarettes from your inventory. Your hand shaking slightly as you try and light your cigarette without much success. You give up after a few moments. Secure golden weapons is top priority, we don't really trust any other meguca getting their hands on them even if it takes a while for the insanity to kick in.Thank and dismiss terminator. Probably robotic but even so it makes sense to properly dismiss the thing on a job well done. Be sort of nice if we didn't have to rely on 40k weirdness, but I suspect we're past the the point of no return on that. My compromise would be that we keep to our theme even if Pinky and her corruption is chaos based. Conventional modern day weapons for the modern day time stopping magic girl, smokes, whisky with optional ice cubes, painkillers to dull everything out.Deagle can climb a wall of dicks though. Even if it's a better class of cheated firearm, the price is too high and this 'test' of QBs got out of control. The corruption we take might not be linked to traditional magic girl corruption of our soul gem and outside of Kuubey's parameters. I think we've safely established these weapons are bad juju and there is no safe way to utilise them without falling into Pinkies plans.
>>19965007Check up on our buddy. Also take a look at ourselves in a reflective surface; if we still get black eyes, see if the grief seed mojo will work on purging it. If those black-eyes are going to be a permanent feature, we better get a good explanation ready.

There is tearing and blowing the ear drums that can happen to cause them to bleed however. Tearing makes it hard to hear and hurts like fuck as opposed to blowing them which makes you effectively deaf and hurts moreAlso probably the whole magical girl lich thing allows us to hear.
>>19965544Thinking about it. Lori is going to be extremely vulnerable right now. Virtually all of 765 has been wiped out and I don't know how teenage models/singers/etc and school works but I guess she has no future right now.
>>19965621Oh no. She's going to end up just like us.
>>19965621It's still iori, not Lori.
>>19965621> I guess she has no future right now. With less idols around, I'd say her future is brighter than ever.
>>19965544Here's the way I see it. Out of all of the girls, Iori is the innocent civilian that's being dragged into a world that she had no idea existed. Despite that, she still thinks there's something inside that she can nurture and draw out of us. She hasn't fully accepted that we are a coldhearted killer, and there's the possibility for hope for us. Which is, of course, why she's going to accept a damn wish when we go down hard and QB offers her the chance to help us. Or she'll turn into a witch or something. I foresee no outcome that allows her (or, failing that, one of our other friends) as some sort of Final Boss. That said, I like Iori, damnit! She's our cuddle bunny! She stays!
>>19965621capital I-o-r-iee-or-eeno L.
>>19965637Bull fuckin' shit we'll let that happen. We need to have a talk with her about how, in times of loss, it's more important than ever to kick kyuubey into fucking traffic if he offers you so much as a piece of candy.
>>19965621Well we don't actually know how many of 765's members were there since only half a dozen of the characters from im@s were named and three survivedShe will be hit hard by them dying still and I don't think she will feel like going outside very often given first she was nearly raped before going on tour and now went to a cd launch and nearly everyone diedShe will probably turn into a hikko after this
>>19965648>>19965643
>>19965656I wasnt just talking about being a magic girl. I mean drowning yourself in pills and booze like the magic girl you look up to must look real tempting to the girl with a ton of idol cash and even more dead friends.
>>19965621This Kyubey seems to have certain rules that the original didn't have. Our Kyubey said he wouldn't contract Iori because she still had a future. But when you put things like that...
>>19965404 >>19965413 >>19965417The armored giant's elephantine helm, one tusk snapped off, swivels down as if to focus on you as it gives its damage report in a booming roar of vox corruption.[DAMAGE LEVELS INCURRED CRITICAL, BUT CURRENTLY STABLE. OPERATIONAL STATUS IMPAIRED BUT FUNCTIONAL. TELEPORTATION CURRENTLY DISABLED.]Well. You didn't get all of that, but it sounds positive, at least. You ask it for more details, just as you try to unsuccessfully wipe the blood from your face with your apron - only managing to smear it around and make you look even more ghastly. You make for wiping your ears free of blood instead - at least your eardrums, having ruptured from earlier, had healed up quickly. You can thank Magical Girl constitution for that at least. The armored giant seems to hesitate, which is a ridiculous notion, considering its belligerent appearance. [OFFICIAL DESIGNATION IS...TINY PETE, OF THE VIII LEGION. FIRST COMPANY. SERIAL NUMBER UNKNOWN.]You...don't get that either, but alright. At least it has a name, one that you remember Misaka crowing about when she kept telling you about her latest pet project. You reach up on tiptoe and trace the eight-pointed star embossed on its chest. You're not all that familiar with these, but they do look quite dangerous. Maybe you should speak to Misaka about giving Tiny Pete a new look. After a moment of staring, you point it towards the arm it's missing. It growls out its assent before plodding directly for its wayward limb, its footfalls making the very floor tremble with each one.Tiny Pete. Well, at last you've confirmed that it's not Misaka in there - probably just machine inside, a dummy AI in lieu of an actual wearer. You remember the password your phone gave you. You make a note to try it out when Tiny Pete's all fixed up.[1/2]
>>19965647Well it is a two part thingFirstly we saved her and reinforced that we care about her and that we will look after herAnd second she has seen that we don't really take care of ourself and she has helped us be a bit better than the hobo looking mahou shoujo that smelled of week old whiskey and smoke that turned up at her door for the body guard assignment
>>19965647Have you heard of the saying "As long as somebody wholeheartedly believes that chivalry exists, then it does?" This is the same, except with a different ideal. Iori still believes how us and all of the magical girls are still good people at heart, and the world can still be good as long as we work for it. It's very slightly started to rub off on us. As long as she still believes that, we will start to as well. It seems like a good thing to fight for. I suggest we keep that little flame of hope burning in her.

>>19965687>VIII LegionIsn't VIII the number on our Desert Eagle? Are there 20 legions?
>>19965744reminded me of this.
>>19965562My complaint isn't at the action or lack of it. It's the nature of the action. Rather then fighting a huge boxer with magical gauntlets and his crazy trained harem; we eliminate them in what, three posts and then get a Bloodthirster instead. We didn't even really fight it, we summoned a TERMINATOR on it then shot it after the two traded hits.My point isn't that the action is lacking, the level of action isn't as important as the cool idea of a chain smoking, monologuing magic girl with nothing to lose dealing with magic girl problems like she's a hard boiled detective/mage.While we're at it, we knew this demon was instantly trouble by looking at it despite being magic girls who originally were supposed to fight demonic like witches in the first place. We could have fought it, but no. We've got terminator armour to call in and that's the obvious choice. If that's the direction things are going then fine, that's what people want. It just seems dumb to keep calling this Noir if we're going to drop it for more /tg/ fan favourites.

>>19965797Yes http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Space_Marine_LegionVIII legion is Night Lords as was noted in previous thread from the Terminator's badge.
>>19965797yes. VIII legion is the Night Lords.
>>19965797Should be twenty legions. Number 8 is indeed the Night Lords. Twenty was the Alpha Legion, and that doesnt really fit to Kirikas Sword, so i think we need to look harder for a connection.
>>19965806Fuck, I had almost forgotten. Wouldn't be a Madoka quest on /tg/ without white knighting Poorfag.
>>19965797>Isn't VIII the number on our Desert Eagle?Clever girl. Yes, yes there are 20 legions. Well, 18 and 2 missing (which I'm sure will not be filled in this quest /sarcasm). We previously thought Tarot Cards, perhaps, but it looks like this is a more relevant number. Which means the Golden Gun being VIII was planned for a while, now. This also means Kirara was Alpha Legion, I guess? So... I guess we need to find out what number the gauntlets are, don't we...?>Paraphrase elderofNo, captcha. No Eldar spotted yet...
>>19965687[2/3]While Tiny Pete's combing the room for his bits, you look around for a reflective surface to check yourself with. Not that you have any illusions of what you look like right now, of course - just that it'd help to be prepared once backup arrives. Less confusion that way.You find a broken shard of mirror somewhere on the ground, and pick it up carefully. Brushing hair away from your eyes as you stare hard at yourself.Your eyes are still a bit darker than you're used to, but it seems to be mostly confined to the iris, now. Dark purple's not that much of a deviation from just purple, so you think this might just pass as something the lighting's doing. You use up a Grief Seed, just to be on the safe side. The impurity in your Soul Gem eradicated, just like that, and the used Seed stashed back into your inventory. Taking your count from 3 to 2.Some bit of good news, at least - you're able to light the damn cigarette this time. You puff gratefully just as Tiny Pete returns, its hammer locked onto its back and carrying its still-sparking severed arm.Things work themselves out. This is a reminder of that. Just not in the way you usually would like them to.
>>19965808>If that's the direction things are going then fine, that's what people want. It just seems dumb to keep calling this Noir if we're going to drop it for more /tg/ fan favourites. Are you new to the quest? Deculture has been dropping 40k references and other silly things since day one.
>>19965831>>19965831A Desert Eagle doesn't fit the Night Lords either. Connections need to be sought elsewhere entirely, but are still possible.
>>19965808That was due to our choices thoughWe decided to first run and summon help then we decided to look after Kyoko before turning to fight KilgoreThings would have been very different had we attacked Kilgore when he grabbed us or hadn't called for help but this is simply the results of our actionsAlso Deculture is trying to move things along because we have been crawling along at a pace that makes snails look fast, the entire Kilgore scenario was supposed to last maybe two threads and the mucking about beforehand maybe one

>>19965845[3/4]You take another long, desperate drag from your cigarette - and it's then that the backup finally arrives. A complete squad, led by none other than Kumatora herself, the girl you trained. The five girls with her seem to be Eversors too, girls who look fresh out of basic but eager to prove themselves.Oh, and Kyuubey. Of course. White mutant cat, who doesn't even greet you so much as go directly over to the bracers. Sniffing one of them, before prodding the hand still encased with a paw.All six Eversor squad members stop and pale at Tiny Pete's appearance, but you shake your head, telling them that he's a friendly. He just looks that way."I-If...If you say so, Murderface-sempai." Kumatora replies after a moment, before snapping off a textbook salute. You nod at her instead of returning it, and she continues her address. "I-Ishikawa Kumatora, Eversor, reporting as reinforcements! Although..." Her voice falls as she looks around. Seeing what is little left of Kilgore besides, well, the golden bracers and the meat they're currently encasing, having reverted back into simple bangles with eagle reliefs. "...I don't think you left us anything to kill, Murderface-sempai."You smile slightly at this, and gesture at Tiny Pete beside you. If they wanted someone to blame, blame him, you say, and they blanch at the idea."U-um, well, in any case...I'll just report that Kyoko Sakura-sempai is already on her way back to Headquarters." Kumatora clears her throat. "Minase Iori-san has also been recovered, along with two other VIPs. They say that they know you personally, Murderface-sempai."Ah. That'd be Garcia and Fabiola.

>>19965956Limit is 500
>>19965808Now, while I DO actually partially agree that we could have had more with Black Baron, everyone was on board for Magical Girl Madworld Quest, if I recall. And everyone was for the 40k goodies before, earlier in the quest. So, now that it's being provided, now is the time to decide we don't want it? As long as the in between keeps firmly attached to the human characters, emotions, trials, and tribulations, then the game will be fine. Boss fights are gonna be boss fights, after all.

Oh, they're fine, sempai. Fabiola-san needed a bullet wound to her arm addressed, but it was only a gash, nothing really serious. We had to get Garcia-san to a medical facility, though - we think he might have accidentally shot himself with a tranq gun a couple of times."...Sorry, Fabiola. That'll be another lesson you'll have to teach your Master on your own."That's what I have," Kumatora says after a moment, uncertain of how to finish off things, opting to salute again. "I'm...I'm not sure what happened myself, sempai, but is it really true that you cleared out an entire ballroom on your own? There were a lot of bodies inside, some of them heavily armed.."You could see Kyuubey looking at you as Kumatora asks you this. How do you respond?

>>19965850So you didn't read the previous posts quoted before replying huh? Could have saved yourself some post time by realising I acknowledge Warhammer references have existed all along but originally seemed to be running parallel to the bad guy's plot. I was hoping it was 40k inspired rather then this direct business, golden weapons causing blood thirst and madness as a method employed by our opponents. It fits well enough into our themes much like Asir corps combat drugs in Max Payne. A cool nod.>>19965874Like I said, I don't mind the pace, if we need to step it up we could have skipped the whole demon part and made the fight with Kilgore as tough as we expected but never got.Well, in any case I've got my point across. Get your votes in!>>19966120>>19966136>>19966138In the very first fight of the Quest we brutally offed a girl that we KNEW was under a confirmed Witch's mark, despite Mami asking us to try to stop and help her. In a ballroom full of bloody demons, that is NOT the time to try for a mass exorcism spell (that we don't even know if works in the Madoka-verse).
>>19966166We got them with knives, but we did usually aim for the throat. That said, it's possible that one got pinned under some bodies and we missed her.
>>19966166We didn't use the gun on the girls
>>19966181we were under influence though.
>>19966171To be fair she was pretty far gone and had hurt Mami so we weren't going to waste any time trying shit when we had a good solid solution in handThe harem we may have spared if we were under normal circumstances and control but the gun took over and we decided that everything in the room was dying
>>19966120Couldn't be helped, perhaps if we were a little more like Mami and not so used to death with my view our actions against the Harem as the golden weapons influence going against our rational nature. I think 'confirmed hostile' sums up our opinion nicely. The moral solution would probably have been to disable or stun them while blinded, but the efficient cold solution (even if we were berserking at the time) was to cleanly kill them without messing about.I think it's in keeping we don't feel bad about killing them, perhaps pity for what happened to them to become that way, but the blame is solely on Killgore. Mami will have to guilt trip us to make us admit we fucked that up. Iori could guilt trip us too, but we'll just view her as naive.
>>19966041 >>19966069 >>19966088You narrow your eyes at Kyuubey, before turning back to Kumatora, the rest of her own squad seemingly hanging on to your every word, just like her. You sigh slightly as you realize that this is not exactly a debriefing, as those happen in the privacy of your appointed Incubator - but you feel that any embellishment would reflect badly on you and on your current reputation. So you tell it straight. You tell them the events of what happened, barring a few details about the Golden Desert Eagle that Kyuubey would probably want to hear himself in strict confidence. You point out just where what happened, including the chase that had Kyoko's back broken and Tiny Pete mopping up the place with Kilgore. It makes for a great story, if it weren't for the fact that a lot of people died in its inception. It's as you recount the assignment in full that you take off the Desert Eagle's shoulder holster, unbuckling the straps quickly and slipping it off your arm - before all but dropping it right on top of your boss, the white furry creature jumping easily to the side to avoid getting crushed. You murmur that you've finished his little experiment for him, and that he can take the gun back. You'd use a much pointed but also a cruder way of saying that statement, but there are people who look up to you that are present."...Very well. I've interesting findings about what happened, but I understand if you'd like to know about them in a later time, at a later place." Kyuubey says after a moment, placing a paw on top of the empty golden firearm and making it disappear. "Miss Iori is safe, as well as her two friends. Mami is with Shijou-san - apparently they've found a mutual friend injured in the proceedings. They've taken him to the hospital, too."[1/2]
>>19966209Nope, they were clearly hostiles, hostiles are cleared up. We are professionals.
>>19966227That's pretty much how I see itIt is regrettable that they fell to his control but there was nothing more we could do for them than kill them quickly and put them out of their misery which is more than their victims got
>>19966230Remember to ask about the illusionist girl.
>>19966209I honestly think the decision to "clean" the room was justifiable. Homura cannot clear mindcontrol ao I soubt Chiaki could either. 20+ hostiles with knives and 10+ with guns against a Magical Girl? Trying to subdue them all would have ended up with a broken soul gem due to sheer numbers.Kyubey can't blame us for it, even if Chiaki did enjoy it a bit too much.
>>19966264Kyuubi isn't going to blame us for shit. It's Mami who might call us on it. Iori might question us about being able to save the other civilians, though.

>>19966311>[x]Mami>[x]Misaka>[x]MidoriWork hard, party hard.
>>19966375Is gud.Iori's not going to know what hit her once we invite her to one of this Drinking Parties.
>>19966375That might lead to whiskey infused pancakes again. It took us 3 months of cold turkey to get over them the last time we tried that
>>19966423This sounds like the perfect time to try them again.
>>19966381You mean Emi? Katawa Shoujo, "the cripple fucker game", as Chiaki would (did) call it.
>>19966311[x]MisakaMaybe she'll do better this time. We're still drinking whiskey though, no vodka
>>19966311>[X]Drink aloneHow about the bar we like?
>>19966338>>19966378>>19966384I 100% guarantee that drinking alone will mean drinking with Pinky. I only 90% say that drinking with others will bring her out. That said, I actually agree that alone is good. Friends are good, but we don't want to forget who we are. We could also use a long chat with Pinky, honestly. If that's not an option, Midori is my choice. Can we bring Midori for Midori, if we do that? Please?
>>19966444She isn't actually Emi though, one of us made a joke about her being Emi after we blew her legs off and it stuck
>>19966454www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNrDbIsCxhM&Proposing this as the T.Pete vs. Monkilgore track
>>19966446whatwhat's wrong with Vodka?
[x]MidoriWe promised we'd be back.
>>19966470Yeah, we MADE her MidoriEmi. She... was perfectly functional before we met her.
>>19966346 >>19966343 >>19966330 >>19966326As you make your way out of the mansion, it's then that you remember a certain green-haired girl you kneecapped and left somewhat hanging in the Silent Room, over at Headquarters. You've finished interrogating her, for the most part - but she's still under your custody. You still have her Soul Gem, after all - it's not like she could leave without it.What the hell, you think. You could pay her a visit, if only to avoid drinking alone for the night. You don't trust yourself all that much at the moment - and you think Mami and Misaka would probably be better off not having to deal with you, at least not for tonight. They are, after all, a much better class of people. The sort that certainly did not need getting dragged into your shit.= =And that's it for the Kilgore assignment. Thank you everyone who participated!
>>19966468But see, we have higher alcohol tolerance than Midori. So we drink until she passes out, and by then we'll be drunk enough to have a fun chat with Pinky.
We have to drink with Midori sometime
>>19966488In b4 the chikuwa
>>19966488Sooo...Chikuwa?
>>19966506That was the Chikuwa.
>>19966497Not if we dunk our soul gems in whiskey againIt had Emi utterly legless since we had used her gem a a whiskey cooler for a week but even after half an hour to an hour with our soul gem in a glass of vodka we were pretty drunk
>>19966512>>19966515It's not Chikuwa time until the Chikuwa is posted
>>19966488Thanks again for questigating, proto/deculture.How charmingly ominous that wallpaper is.
>>19966522In any case, we still have to show our new dress to Pinky. I'm sure she'll love the gory upgrades, too.
>>19966488Thanks so much for running the quest for us today, Deculture, you're the best!
>>19966488fuckWe're asking for our Vacation Party while we're at HQ then.
I'd say we need to get to a bar and drink away the feeling we lost a bit more of our soul tonight to the gun. Mami is probably still going to give bad guilt vibes, Misaka is probably more in a party mood which isn't what we're looking for example.I'd say [x] Drink alone, but I suspect the players don't want that, so [x] Midori as we've not chilled with her.We need a comfy chair, some whisky and some premium smokes to help forget about things.
>>19966470I know. I was the one who made that comment.
>>19966488Thanks for running the quest, just like all the other times. Always fun.Very glad we didn't die, and nobody else we cared about did. Good times for all.
>>19966488Damnit Deculture, we wanted to party with all of them.If we absolutely cannot, I understand. Still, it would be great to have another drinking party.
And this one is for the Midori assignment.Consider this the chikuwa sign for now. As always, feedback is great. Also, would you guys consider some sort of interview portion with some of the characters, like Exabyte did?
>>19966582Midori got like 17 votes people want to fuck the cripples it seems
>>19966588Did you just make these?
btw: QB did wire the payment, but we still have to collect our reward with Fabiola...
>>19966588Sure
>>19966600Yesterday when a storm cut out their internet, I think it was.Rather worth it, I think.
>>19966603Ah yes her reward... do we have anyway to contact her.
>>19966608they are pretty awesome
>>19966588>some sort of interview portion with some of the charactersSomething from Pinky's point of view would be awesome in so many ways.
>>19966588Not to act too spoiled, but... any chance we're getting Kir... um the katana bitch arc one as well?
>>19966588Interviews would be cool
>>19966588Deculture, you're a great artist. Thank you for continuing this quest.
>>19966588More Misaka? Please and thank you sir.
>>19966621I think that might give too much away as cool as it would beSeeing Misaka's point of view on things would be inserting
I'm not that quick during posting, so I did these when the weather wasn't cooperating. Only managed to do two.>>19966621Haha, I'll keep that in mind.>>19966617Iori should have Garcia's number, at least.
>>19966590>Bikko approves
>>19966647>she's cheerfully oblivious to the soul crushing fear everyone has of the cat."Why can't I grab that tail! Maybe... if I an extra arm.... TO THE LAB"
>>19966651Btw: You know what cast would be awesome to get included at some point in the future?
>>19966590Midori's only a cripple temporarily. If she decides to flip sides QB would probably heal her, assuming she hasn't already been healed.
>>19966672>people vote to keep her a cripple
>>19966670No, It wouldn't
>>19966624To be honest Kirika isn't that.
>>19966678That would be fucking stupid.
>>19966670No it definitely wouldnt. The character design is retarded.
>>19966540>>19966535>>19966631You're too kind to say so, if anything I should be thanking everyone for continuing to play despite my own hiccups with questing. I promise to do better! Also, MGNQ Misaka art is on the top of my list.
>>19966683bad*
>>19966691hgu->hiccupsson, you're doing better then the rest of the board.
>>19966617More importantly - what would the reward be?We are good on money, and I doubt she can provide Grief Seeds... so she better get her hands busy ... [wish_tg_had_spoilers] and make some really delicious pancakes. [/I_really_do]
>>19966694Debate her canonical arc all you will, but by the time *we* met her, she wasn't precisely sweetness and light.
>>19966647>Misaka's point of viewhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUhOnX8qt3I#t=51sIn a young girl's heart.

>>19966705So we're not going to blame it on the sword are we.
>>19966720fucking perfectThat's excatly how I what her interview to go
>>19966730Hey, at least we're *trying* to resist the deagle brand deagle.Kirika quest would have one option for every >wat do, and it'd always be [ ]THE FLESH OF FALLEN ANGELS.
>>19966703She might be a good source of information or someone we can palm Iori off onto if we need to keep away from her for any reason
>>19966588>Also, would you guys consider some sort of interview portion with some of the characters, like Exabyte did?Can you explain? I don't know who Exabyte is or what do you mean.
>>19966488>>19966588Love those arts
As a whole, QB Heavy Industries prefers to groom its talents. Taking the down and out, cast away dregs of society, it turns them into capable bodyguards, spies, assassins and the like. Usually these are desperate, sometimes broken preteen or teenaged girls with nothing to lose. Most of them are usually on their deathbeds. However, the company has been known to put out contracts in the open market for mercenaries and private military companies to take. Said cases are either surplus to the company's needs or require specialized talents and/or connections. Such as cybercrime and corporate espionage, for example. The company's field agents may be competent, but most of them lack certain skills necessary for certain areas of work.Mercenaries who take on such jobs are usually referred to as "freebooters". It is a strange term to call a merc, but the pay is usually good... assuming you live to collect the check.A very tenacious mercenary who manages to distinguish himself or herself to the corporation is designated as a "Rogue Trader". A merc with this designation is usually given a first pick of missions. Depending on the merc's skillset, he may even get a crack at jobs usually reserved for field agents or even the occasional teaching spot. Then again, to get there, one has to be really good at what he does. Or be extremely well-connected.
>>19966757The difference between us and her is that she doesn't care about anyone that isn't Oriko.

Very roughly made 'Bloodthirsty Edit'. Though dark red would work better than white.
>>19966588>Also, would you guys consider some sort of interview portion with some of the characters, like Exabyte did?No, please don`t. It will ruin the story and the immersion. I don`t know who gave you this idea but please stay away from it. Or if you want to do it, do if after you`ve finished the Quest entierly to tie up loose ends. Otherwise it would be a bad idea.
>>19966588Aw man, the quest ended. You guys don't mind if I drawfagged our fight with the daemon right?
>>19967711>mind>draw friendswhat, we want more art
