Thread Archives:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Mobile+x+DestinyIRC on rizon @ #mxdLast time on Mobile X Destiny, Anon-kun and Roslyn had a heart-to-heart conversation. Miyuki gave Anon-kun her answer as to whether or not she would accept his offer, which she did. Both Miyuki and Anon-kun walked Sayuri home that evening, and on the way home, Anon-kun noticed a strange red liquid pooling out of the alley. After closer inspection, you realize it's just juice, and the two of you head home and get some sleep.
You feel... some sort of weight on top of you. You open your eyes, and you realized you had a dreamless sleep. That means no nightmares, thankfully. That's when you remember the weight on top of you... Your eyes readjust and you see Miyuki's hair in your face. You tilt your head around and see she had rolled over on to you in your sleep, and her face is on your chest. You feel her rhythmatic breathing, a telltale sign she's still asleep. You can't help but grin at how cute she is like this. You turn and look at your clock, seeing it's still early.Skillfully, you remove yourself from the bed without disturbing her, and you go to the bathroom to relieve yourself and to wash up for the day. You head back into your room and put on your uniform before gently waking Miyuki up. "Hey," you whisper, "It's morning, sleepyhead. Get up.""Mmm...""Are you listening to me?" you ask playfully. "You need to get up so we can go to school.""Mmmph..."[ ] Get creative to wake her up[ ] Let her sleep a bit longer

You decide to let her sleep a bit longer. There's no harm in it, all things considered. You head downstairs and prepare a lunches for both you and Miyuki before starting breakfast. It's nothing special, just some eggs, toast, and some bacon. Just as you're cleaning up some some of the pans you used, you hear the front door open. You peek your head around the corner to see Chiyo walking in. "Good morning," you say with a smile. "Where have you been?"She looks a bit out of it. "Huh?" As if her eyes refocus, she looks at you a tad confused. "Sorry, what?""Where have you been?" you repeat. "We were trying to find you yesterday, but you were nowhere to be found. We were all hanging out.""Oh... Sorry. I had some stuff to do yesterday morning, and I was out most of the day," she replies. "What smells so good?" she asks, changing the subject."Breakfast," you reply. "Bacon, eggs, and toast." You see her walk into the kitchen and examine everything. "There a problem?" you ask."No, I'm just curious. There's a lot of food her. More than enough for two, maybe three people." She looks past you to the counter. "And there's two lunches. What's going on?" she asks playfully.[ ] I've got a hot date, don't you know?[ ] Miyuki is staying here for a while.[ ] (Lie) Nothing

[X] Miyuki is staying here for a while.
[ ] I've got a hot date, don't you know?Deflect the question. Saying Miyuki's here invites questions as to why, and I really don't want to share her business with others. I can't even count the number of ties I've made a joke to avoid answering something.
>>20373606I figure someone will find out eventually. It's better coming from us to learn she's staying here. If she asks why, we can just tell her to bring it up with Miyuki on her own and it's not our place to say why.
[x] Miyuki is staying here for a while.Gratuitous feelIngs of jealousy will probably not help us in the long run.
>>20373635True, but I'd still rather delay it as long as possible. If one was to insist on answering the question, though, I'd probably phrase my response as "she stayed here last night", since that implies a one-offf thing whereas "staying" implies it's ongoing and thus that something fishy is going on. But then, I'm the type to lie about what he ate for breakfast purely for the sake of it, so there's that.
"Miyuki is staying here for a while," you say, and then you take a bite of bacon before set the table. "So since she's sleeping, I thought I'd make her a lunch. That's also why I made enough breakfast for you, me, and her as well." You grab three glasses from the cupboard. "Want something to drink?""Er... juice is fine," Chiyo says, "But wait. She's staying here? As in living here?" she asks incrediously."Yeah," you reply, pouring her a glass of juice. "She has some circumstances.""What kind of circumstances?" Chiyo asks. "I mean, they must be serious if you're letting her stay here." When you set the glass down in front of her, she thanks you.You aren't entirely sure if you should tell her what's going on. On one hand, it would clear up any confusion, but on the other, it's Miyuki's personal life.[ ] Her life at home isn't what it should be. "It's not my place to talk about it. Sorry, but I'd ask that you talk to her about it yourself if you really want to know more," you reply."You know what? You're right. Sorry for asking you about that, Anon-kun," Chiyo says, looking away. "Where is Miyuki, anyway?""Still sleeping," you respond. "She ought to be waking up any time now..." You pour yourself a glass of juice while you serve Chiyo her portion of breakfast, but during that time, Miyuki doesn't make an appearance. Chiyo looks at you, slightly confused. "One sec, I'll go find her." You head upstairs and open your door to find an empty room. "Eh?""Oh! Anon-kun!" You turn around and see Miyuki in a towel. "I didn't think you'd be up here." You look at Miyuki, refusing to panic. She's in your house in a towel. What does she expect? She meets your gaze for a moment before looking away, her face still flushed. "Chiyo and I were just wondering if you were still asleep or not. I've got breakfast ready, so join us whenever you're ready, okay?" She smile and you see a small smile on her lips before she nods. You head back downstairs and see Chiyo slowly eating her breakfast. "She's getting dressed.""You didn't walk in on her, did you?" Chiyo asks with a grin."More like she walked in on me," you counter. Before Chiyo can say anything, you see Miyuki coming downstairs in her new uniform. "Morning sunshine.""Good morning Anon-kun, Chiyo." She takes a seat and thanks you for breakfast. "So... what's up?" she asks after eating a little bit."Not much, just talking and enjoying breakfast," you reply."Yep." You notice Chiyo is actively avoiding the topic of Miyuki's circumstances. You can't help but wonder if she's going to ask when the two of them are alone, but that's when Miyuki completely shatters that."So," Miyuki says, "I'm kind of surprised you haven't asked me why I'm here," she says to Chiyo. "Normally I'd figure Anon-kun explained it, but I can tell that he hasn't." She looks at Chiyo, her head propped up on her arm.
"Yeah, he didn't want to tell me out of respect for your privacy," Chiyo replies. "Anon-kun thought it would be best to ask you directly.""Do you want to know?" Miyuki asks. "If so, I'll explain it."You see Chiyo struggling to answer the question. She appears as if she's torn between wanting to know and wanting to respect her friends' privacy. "You don't have to explain it," she says finally. She looks a little agitated, but only for the briefest of moments. "As long as everything is okay now, I'm fine.""It's certainly better now," Miyuki admits. "I didn't even want Anon-kun to find out, but..." She looks to you apologetically. "Our Anon-kun tends to bring out everything." You arch a brow at the 'our Anon-kun' bit, and she just grins. "We can always talk about it later." Chiyo nods.Once everyone is done with breakfast, you handle the dishes and grab the lunches you made, and hand it off to Miyuki. "Here you go.""Did you make this?" she asks. You nod. "Thank you, Anon-kun. Next time I'll have to make you lunch."[ ] No need, but I appreciate the thought.[ ] I look forward to it.

>>20375428I rather give Miyuki some sense of control in her life at the moment. She can't really do much to pay back Anon with her current situation so let her do what she can. We'll just have to show Chiyo some love in other ways as soon as possible.
"I look forward to it." The three of you arrive at school, and Chiyo and Miyuki find a seat near Roslyn and Sayuri, who are already talking. You notice Sora in her usual corner of the classroom, and this morning she's surrounded by guys -- and girls -- and they're all talking. She's as popular as usual, but the look on her face is one of contempt for the people around her.You glance around and see Azumi sitting alone, reading a book in silence. You decide to approach Azumi. "Good morning," you say when you approach. She jumps when you speak to her. "O-oh! Good morning, Anon-kun. How ar--" She's cut off as the bell rings. She wilts a little bit. "Oh well. I guess I'll see you in class." She smiles and packs up and then she heads out of the classroom, leaving you standing there."Well, I guess that's that." You head over to math, and it's the usual scene. The teacher, however, addresses the class before things get underway."I assume you all heard the news as to why school was canceled on Saturday," he says. "We had a carbon monoxide leak. In the event most of you do not know, it's a colorless and odorless gas, so it's difficult to detect. If you start to feel ill, much like having the flu, let me know immediately. The leak was fixed, but we cannot be too careful." Everyone listens to him attentively. "So, since things should be fine, let's get on to class."Math proceeds as usual after that announcement, and you're again helping Sayuri this morning. Once you're done with your assignment, you turn it in, but the teacher stops you. "Anon-kun, could I have a word?" You nod. "I notice that you've been helping Arao-san as well as some of the other students with the classwork. You don't have to do that, you know."
"I know, Sensei," you reply. "I don't mind helping Sayu-- Arao-san since she's... like a sister to me, and helping everyone else isn't a big deal, either. I'm just glad to help.""I appreciate that, Anon-kun. You're a good kid." He smiles. "If you ever need to talk about something, I'm here to help.""Thank you." You return to your seat and the girls turn to you."What was that about?" Chiyo asks.[ ] Nothing really[ ] He was thanking me for helping the class

You're the last one through the door, and you see everyone seated. Sora is in her spot again, Sayuri, Chiyo, Miyuki, and Roslyn are sitting together, and Azumi is sitting with some other classmates. You move over to Sora, ready to sit with her and have a delightful conversation through the movie, as was your standard procedure. Before you can, though, another guy slips into the seat next to her and starts chatting her up, to her dismay. "...So I noticed you're always sitting alone, and I figured, hey, I'm decent company.""Right," she says coldly. "And you assumed I wanted your 'decent company?'""I'm not saying that, but I was thinking hey, maybe Tsuchiya-san could appreciate it.""While I /truly/ appreciate the thought," Sora says, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "I'd rather you grace me with your absence as opposed to your presence.""...Huh?"You see her turn to the guy and look him square in the eyes. "In layman's terms," she says, "I want you to remove yourself from the seat you're in." Her voice is somewhat heated, and the guy gets the message fairly quickly."S-Sorry." He gets up and leaves, and you're standing there still watching her as she appears to calm down and return to her writing. She stops abruptly and turns to see you standing there. She tilts her head questioningly. "Why are you standing there?" she asks.[ ] "I was going to sit down, but then that guy..."[ ] "No reason" and sit down alone[ ] Say nothing

You remain silent, unsure of what to say, and before you manage to utter a sound, she sighs. "Sit down before someone starts wondering if you're stupid, Anon-kun." You frown and take the seat your classmate was in moments before. "People are going to start asking questions if you keep trying to sit with me, you know," she says over the sound of her pen scratching away at the paper in her notebook. You start to wonder what's she's talking about, but you find words slipping out of your mouth before you consider them. "Maybe, but it doesn't help that you've chosen to sit with me a few times when I sat alone." You instantly regret saying that, but to your surprise, Sora grins for a split second."Perhaps," she says with her nonchalant tone, "But that's something I can deal with later. More importantly, though, are the questions I expect you'll receive at some point.""Like what?""People will want to know all sorts of things," Sora explains, "Such as the nature of our... interactions." She sounds as if she was struggling with that word, almost as if it wasn't exactly what she wanted to say. The fact she used it, though, sent your mind spiraling down a road where the term "interactions" could be interpreted in a variety of ways. You briefly have an image in your mind...
You could feel her press up against your body and you only wanted more. You ran your left hand through her hair as you used your right to pull her as close as humanly possible. It didn't take much effort, she willingly allowed it to happen. The world had dissolved at this point. There was no one else, you were in a bubble. The only person who existed to her was you, and the only person who existed to you was her. You left hand slowly worked its way around to her front...You shake your head quickly, realizing how far your mind had gone just then. Sora is watching you intently, you realize. She's not going to commit to something like this."Alright," you say, taking it in stride. "We can play it by ear, see what happens." You watch the movie for a while, and you hear a small gasp from Sora about twenty minutes in. "Eh?"She realizes you're looking at her, and she says, "I had an epiphany just now.""Oh? Is it something you're willing to share?" you ask."It's dealing with the protagonist and the heroines," she says off-handedly. "That's all.""Heroines? As in plural?" you say, looking for clarification. She nods. "Is that unusual?""Not really," she says, flipping the page. "The only problem with having multiple heroines is that the author must balance what is essentially 'screen time' per character, so no one character becomes more important than the others. You relax in your chair and enjoy the darkness of the room, and just as you get comfortable in your chair, the bell rings as a signal for everyone to move to lab. You frown and stand up. "Well, do you want to maybe have lunch?" you ask before Sora sneaks away. "We're all going to be on the roof again, I imagine, so you're welcome to join.""I might do that," Sora replies. "I guess we'll 'play this by ear' as well," she adds with a small smile before vanishing into the crowd. Hey, it's something, right? You gather your belongings and head out into the hallway, making your way for the lab. As you're walking, you feel a tap on your left shoulder, and you turn to look, but there's no one there.
