We don't have many offensive options, though, other than wait for Emi.

[Meanwhile]

Emi releases a barrage of automatic fire into her pursuers, instantly discarding it once she runs out of ammo and switching to a sawn-off shotgun as a room-broom.
Escaping Shizune's pursuing legions, she slams into a class and proceeds to cleanse it of survivors and assailants alike.
???
Suddenly, a series of skeletal serpents burst down from the ceiling just as the door implodes in a buttonhook breach.
"Tch."
Shizune's flawlessly executed double-pronged breech left no room for evasion.
"Time Alter: Triple Accel!"
Once again damaging her trained body, Emi blasts a hole through the wall and dashes through it, dropping a grenade behind her as she runs.
An explosion thunders out behind her as she dashes out into a different hallway, having lost her deaf pursuer for the briefest of moments...
Taking advantage of her insane speed, she encircles around through the hallways in an instant, coming up on Shizune's back.
The deaf girl is confidently striding through the hallways, flanked by minions she dispatched to cleanse the hallways of life with casual flicks of her wrists.
The sight of her upright figure, so perfectly at ease with this slaughter...
It's either admirable or infuriating, depending on your view.
And regardless of your view, seeing that figure from behind is a stroke of luck.
Unhesitatingly, Emi barrels in, yanking out a machine pistol and firing into Shizune's back as a rear ambush.

The main auditorium has degenerated into a scene of hell.
Suzu wades ankle-deep through a soup covering the floor comprised of blood, entrails, and brain matter.
Having exhausted all her weapons save a handgun and a pair of broken pruning shears, she lazily trudges forth, battling through your horde of insanity.
Little more than feral beast by this stage, the corrupted denizens of Yamaku slaughter each other with garrotes, rakes, flamethrowers, powerdrills, cricket bats, stapleguns, screwdrivers, meat cleavers, scissors, grenades and other assorted items.
Although it is starting to wind down...
...
The third floor is eerily quiet...
To be precise, it's the area around your class.
Akira's class.
Your fellow classmates are triumphantly lounging about atop a field of horribly mutilated bodies, sharing liquor bottles stolen from the teacher's lounge and gossiping happily.
Akira's teaching curriculum seems to have prepared your cohorts quite well for such a situation.

CRACKCRACKCRACCRACKCRACK.
Emi's automatic barrage elicits a rhythmic series of impacts.
But not from her.
They strike one of these strange skeletal serpents which wrapped around Shizune the instant she came under threat.
Suddenly redirecting her momentum, Emi is faced with an assault of boney baldes as Shizune casually turns to look at her.
"Time Alter: Square Accel!"
Emi runs along the wall and then the ceiling as if they were flat ground as the space she previously occupied becomes perforated by ivory needles.
"?!?! Oh Shit!" Emi emotes despite herself.
The ceiling comes crashing down atop her as the legionnaires cut into it from above.
Shizune is shielded once again by her skeletal minions from the impact.
Emi, however, is smacked in the shoulder by a large block of concrete as she dashes through the rubble.
She manages to survive, though, And shizune once more pursues her at her typical exaggerated stride.
Scampers to a halt against a wall, the legless magus-killer shivers a bit as she analyzes the results of this clash.
"Ok... So her familiars are stand-alone... But her personal defense shield is actively maintained."
With an impish smirk Emi plucks a Thompson Contender out of her tattered coat and loads a strange-looking round into it.
"Ok! Now I know everything I need to."

Fleeing as Misha's drills devour everything behind you, you expend the last of your black keys to shatter a window
and lunge outwards onto the roof.
From here, you can make out the scope of your carnage across the school.
Bodies daggle from nooses made from extension chords out of windows.
The P.E. class is playing hopscotch in squares drawn in brain matter on the pavement.
Suzu is haphazardly sauntering through the massacre, murdering people with a looted chainsaw and shotgun.
She... actually seems to be snoring as she does this.
... Sleepkilling?
"WA~HA~HA~!!!" Misha laughs as she follow you out into the daylight.
Turning your attention back to Misha, you dig your heel into the rooftop, readying yourself for the confrontation.
There's nowhere left to run...
And so...
!!! "SHICCHAN?!?!" Misha suddenly cries out, stopping dead in her tracks.
A reverberation surges through the school.
The Pink Knight doesn't even pay you any head and she smashes her way back into the school, running after Shizune.

Deciding that you can't just let it be, you charge off after Misha.
The screams in the school die down as sanity slowly begins to return in the form of coughing, sobbing, and death rattles.
Misha's speed is surprisingly great - and you find yourself hard pressed to keep up with her as she careens towards the battleground .

Emi summons forth the last vestiges of her magick, feeling a blinding pain surge through her body.
Breaking cover, she flies out into the hallway, attacking Shizune's formation head-on.
Click - the shotgun is exhausted. BOOM. The last of her grenades blasts a gap just big enough for her to dash through.
?!?
And she dashes directly into a hail of javalins from the reinforcing rear line.
"Time Alter: Square Accel!" Ripping her thigh muscles apart, Emi blasts straight up into the ceiling, escaping instant death and catapulting herself over the Legionaire's assault.
Crack. She feels her shoulder dislocate from the massive centrifuge.
She's already torn most of her muscles.
This is it.
Emi exhausts her last loaded weapon to blast through Shizune's legionnaires and yanks out her Contender.
"!!!" A smile flashes on the deaf one's face as Shizune's serpentine familiars instantly flare up around her to receive the attack.
The bullets from Emi';s conventional gun glance harmlessly off like water off a duck.
"?"
Too late does Shizune realize Emi's expression is off:
It's a smile, filled with confidence.

Emi's magical 'flow' is fundamentally broken - both by a natural incompatibility with magick as well as her disability.
It's actually fairly typical for one's magickal nature to reflect the state of their body and mind.
After all, as all are fundamental components of a being, they aren't kept separate.
Emi's origin is that of 'Breaking' - a shockwave she can feed back into a magus through their magical connections.
Turning a weakness into a strength...
This is her mystic code... The Origin Shot.
She had to make sure that Shizune was actively channeling power into her familiars.
The connection has to be active for the backlash to work.
And this is exactly what happened.
The backlash of shattering magick surges through Shizune's personal defense familiars directly into her body.
In an instant, her book burns to ashes in her hand and the skeletons under her control crumple to dust.
Soundlessly hacking up blood, she smacks down onto the floor.
Emi crashes down a second later amidst a patterning of spent guns like hailstones.
Then a second of silence.
The only sounds are that of Shizune's body ripping itself apart and the only smells are of blood and gunpowder.
After a moment, Emi staggers upwards, surveying Shizune's horrifically convulsing figure with her mouth in a slightly scrunched frown.

This actually makes me seriously reconsider trying to kill Misha.
She might be the only one able to defeat Emi, and, unlike Hanako, she is not actually a yandere rival.

Not breaking her expression, Emi limps over to Shizune, loading a new round.
Shizune, unable to react, thinks of many pointless things as she watches her own execution.
She was supposed to go shopping with Misha this weekend.
Will... Hisao be alright without her?
Oh... and Tanabata... That's right... She was supposed to coordinate Tanabata.
"..." That will indeed be problematic.
Click. After some fumbling, Emi chambers the fresh cartridge.
Without her in command of the Student council... The arrangements for Tanabata will be delegated to class reps...
A slight frown is all the emotion she can muster.
And Lilly, being the workshy waif she is, will definitely just delegate her share - probably to her sister.
In other words...
Tanabata... will be 'Akira's Carnival'.
...
A wry smile forms on her lips at this thought, fleeting along with her life.
Never one to let her disabilities constrict her, Shizune somehow manages the inhuman effort to push herself through the damage of Emi's Origin Shot.
Her fingers move, signing out her last thought to no one in particular. [Madness...] She signs. [The madness... begins...]

Maybe. That was just Shizune guessing at what Lilly will do. It's pretty likely, though. The only thing that's actually bad is all those visions we've had relating to Akira. Whatever plans they have for all that mana and shit they've gathered will probably come to a head there. We may just have to save the world in order to simply get our man.
