The guards, goblins, and a few dwarves go to explore the lair.

They all see the tower before anything and walk down the few well trodden paths.

They find the opening of the cave which inside has the glittering shine of treasure...they see a few pens full of different animals.

A few pens have a normal sheep, some odd hoof beasts, and some odd large wingless creatures.

This should help us bring in the harvest faster, well coupled with the people that stayed behind. That and better treasure transportation.

We could also use a bit of help from our prisoners. Community service or something, since if we will keep them, we will have to feed them so they might as well work for their food - heck we might even have them integrated into our community, if we can perhaps be a bit convincing about it.

A goblin steps into one of the caves of the liar...and gets roasted by a laser spell from a crystal inside of the cave. A dwarf shoots the crystal with his crossbow and shatters it making it well...not work anymore.

They move slowly in, a few injuries from random weapons and gold avalanches until they reach the steps up into the tower.

They go up and up, Riverheart leading the group and finds that the tower is...relatively ruined. Most things inside were banners of faded places and a few old, musty maps of the lands around them...

A few more rooms they collect a few old pieces of very rusted and heavy armor...and most have burn marks or holes in them from magical use.

The banners mainly show those of things on the backs of Dragons or beasts like it. And a large painting on the wall shows the visual of a battle being fought before a sunset...between two large groups of dragons.

Riverheart and the elf maiden go to the leaders of their villages and the rest of the small alliance.

They wish to explore to the east. They know that they could. A goblin volunteered to go with them, he was a small and sneaky little thing with a red magrite dagger with him.

Another older dwarf also wanted to go, to go on one more adventure with his battle ax of the metals. He hefted the ax on his shoulder and told his people he was going.

The humans and Slarens get first crack at this. They collect many chests that they move with carts from the dwarves.

Riverheart and his small party meet at the village and go off, into the forests to the east of the village. They have no map of the area and just wing it.

Nick the Goblin, Riverheart their leader and magic user.
Sarlin the old dwarf warrior.
And Feyan the elfish maiden ranger. They are given plenty of things from their village, food, a bit of gold of the old lord. And Slarens watch as they left and called of victory at seeing them leave.

A few of the animals are taken by the goblins and men of the village. The elves had not come to bask in the glories of their loot and the Dwarves already have plenty of their rams and such.

The Goblins ride the sheep causing many laughs from the men with smiles. They slowly pat the hooved beasts and mount them easily.

They are rather tame and the wingless reptiles are much more...temprimental. A goblin or two have gotten on it's back and muzzled the beast with a pot of iron for each of the beasts from the horde.

They ride back these beasts, well the goblins tag along on the reptiles and the sheep through the plains. They allow the creatures to graze but the wingless creatures eat the stone around them, it seems that these are very much crunching them and sleeping in the light they can.

Slarens calls waterstone and the rest of the apprentices to his huge hut. He uncovers the holder of the eggs and shows them that they have now started to hatch...

The eggs wiggle and shake...eventually cracking explosively and shattering around them. Two small dragon chicks. Both calling and rubbing against Slaren's legs.

The goblin runner comes and informs the leaders, they are in the process and then they remember they have one more egg to check.

The only problem is that the first one the hatchling sees will have a connection to the dragon. He isn't sure if he should leave his babies alone to go himself...or send one of the other apprentices to get it for him.

Slarens looks at Asrid and tells her where to go...She heads to where they had met Slarens in the first place. Seeing around the area she sneaks through the swamps.

She hears different things and sees a flash of magical power and hurries onto the land. She runs onto the logs and then she is able to see a moving form running across the water.

She hurries to a small cave and it's empty...the only thing inside is the shattered are bits of an egg shell.

Asrid runs after the figure. Using her own magic to try shooting beams of moon light across the sky at the figure.

The figure curses as the dragon chick can be heard crying and growling. Asrid chasing him toward the Goblin village screaming curses at him she had learned in the dwarf depo.

"HELP! DRAGON KIDNAPPER!" She screamed as they got closer to the village. A goblin from the top jumped down from the trees and the figure accidently launched the chick into the air!

Asrid runs quickly and catches the dragon chick, a young cooing sound as the goblins surrond the figure who is covered from head to toe in mud and tied up with vines by the goblins.

Asrid holds the dragon chick and she kicks the figure in the head to knock off his hood. She sees it is the 'Elven Lord' with a pedant of a gold and silver dragon.

Asrid, with the help of the goblins keep him bound and gagged.

Asrid carries the young chick as the goblins keep their young dragon chick in their village celebrating around it.

Slarens sees the elf tied up and comes out growling and snorts a little, shooting a bit of acid in the dirt.

"Beast...Your spawn was nearly in the right place it belonged...hells." Lord Arden said.

Slarens opens his mouth but is stopped by the crying of his chick. He moves closer and smiles at Asrid. "Thank you Asrid...please...keep her safe...my daughter Lunra..."

The other dragon chicks cry around the legs of their father. These two were the sons of it, while the other two eggs hatched dragonesses. The village works hard, the eggs of hens being broken and fed to the chicks while the Goblins have their own methods.

Slarens will have a say in the punishment, but he alone is not the representative. We should have a representative of each race decide rulings by vote.

If the elf is to receive a lower penalty, I suggest keeping him as his race's representative. Keep your enemies closer after all.

The dragons and the goblins come into the second largest hut.

A large table is placed in a circle around the 'elf lord'. He is still tied up with two guards of goblins and two dwarf guards.

"Arden...you have tried to kidnapp and slay one of Slarens's children. Slarens is the reason that much of your people and the goblins are free as much of us know." Watestone says glaring.

The rest of the council, mostly humans but one dwarf, one other elf, and one goblin.

"H-how can you do this?! These things are evil...evil I tell you. My people have lost too much to these damn chromatics...kill it before it kills the rest like that damn red could if it escapes from that damn mine." He says struggling. A goblin hits his arms to stop any movement in his fingers and arms.

Goodness, one black dragon being a dick doesn't mean they all are. We're not going to hunt down every red dragon we find out about just because one decided slaving was a good idea.

Punishment is going to be tricky though. There are a few reason punishment, and we need to pick the right kind for the right result.

There is no point in making an example out of him, because everyone else in the area seems to understand that we help each other, and not blindly serve the dragon.

I don't think we can change his mind through a from of punishment, because of what happened to himself. I also don't think punishment is going to prevent him from endangering the hatchlings either.

The last thing is...removal. Death is too much, but banishment has it's own...issues. If he goes off and builds a force to attack our dragon...that would be bad.

But it isn't about who decides...we also must think about what the punishment will do.

"You are no longer aloud in this village, nor are you allowed within the confines of the goblin's swamp. You may live where ever else you wish aslong as no black dragon is within shooting distance of your magic." The group finally decides. The elves, albet begrudglingly, take him back to their village while the goblins 'kindly' escort him.

Everything's fine, I'm just a notoriously slow painter and stressed from wedding planning. I tend to be a perfectionist ANYWAY, and Riverheart's face kept giving me trouble, haha. He kept coming out looking derpy. I don't paint 12-year-olds very often.

Once I get the faces done to my liking, the rest should go faster- clothes are easier. Here's what I've got so far.
