Walking through the enormous halls, you look this way and that- great stone pillars lay on each side, and strange streams of aged paper hanging from the eaves.
Tyr, ponderously, stepped ahead of your group of four, thick bandages of leather wrapped around half of his face, and around one of his wrists. He held his great, almost maul-like hammer head-down, leaning on it as he walked. Eventually, he took a side passage, and from what little you see... the hallways are long, incredibly long- you look to the other side of the T intersection, and you can see the hallway must reach across the entire mountain range.

"In here." He said, and stepped into the side passage.

You follow him, and you end up in a larger, warmer chamber, with a red rug on the ground, and strange, gleaming yellow gems set into the walls, giving off light.
He took a seat in one of the enormous plush chairs, and you climb up into one as well, Jeanne, Kaliel, and Lewin taking their own seats; For everyone but Tyr, the seats were too large.

"Now." Tyr asked. "May I ask why you've come here?"

You raise your hand, and close your eyes, bringing forth your power. Healing magic sparks from your fingertips, and they trace over his wrist, and his face, as you feel the stone reshaping itself, and the bone and blood underneath reforming.

Tyr scratched at some of the lichen on his reddish granite skin, making a loud scraping noise... and then nodded, untying the leather straps from his wrist and face.
"You speak wisely." He said. "And you did call a hold to our battle, in which either- or both- of us could have died, when our goals were the same. I agree, we should speak."

"Erm, overlord, if you do not mind me asking, but what are those?" Lewin asked. "They're all written in what has to be dwarven..."
"Stories." He said. "As our stories hold up our culture and society... the stories hold up our ceilings, as well."

Eventually, you reached the great door, where you see a pale blue dwarf standing there, with small bits of bright green moss on his face.
"I'm seeing our visitors out." Tyr told him, and the guard nodded, opening the door.

You make your way back outside, and walk toward the Jormungandr, as you walk into the stealth magic. Lewin, Jeanne, and Kaliel make their way back up... and immediately, Kaliel makes her way belowdeck.

"Where to now?" Ell asked.

Hmmm, well on the one hand we should probably get back to New Arcturus soon, but on the other hand we said we'd help out that elf with freeing is people as soon as the business with Tyr is resolved.

We still haven't found anything about the assassination attempt. I'd guess it was the handmaidens hearing about a powerful magic user, but we don't actually know.
