Additionally, some people have asked about spreading some propaganda for your side. I've decided this will operate off of Cunning and Insight rolls, TN 9. I've also decided v.0.7 of the rules will include expanded corporation rules (though again, mostly for posterity, since LA isn't set up to use them) as well as rules for media and public image, and hopefully also some stuff for politics. That should roll out some time during Act III, at which point we'll have basically an entire city simulator to work with for when we do another Super Villain Quest.

Red Death turns up nothing, but Julio's able to find a lead while investigating the Santos Espada (and hey, does it ever feel good to not have Dead Eye taking potshots at him every time he steps out of Palos Verdes). It looks like Asrael has a couple of muggle friends, at least a few of whom are former members of the Santos Espada. They're kind of bitter about it, but irritating Asrael is never a good idea.

Okay, you put down those two sets and then the glass turns. Act III starting for real now.

There is an attempted crackdown on the Brass Legion, but it doesn't get anywhere, and all that really happens is a few cops get roughed up while trying to arrest your masked minions. The Ronin put down a Samurai set on East Compton, but ignore Lakewood, because they can't even break even on a Drugs neighborhood. Then they launch their attack on the Santos Espada, having all three of their Samurai sets attack their counterparts in the two Santos Espada Verdugos sets. One of them goes down, but the other stays up, and the Samurai sets take some lumps at the same time. The battle escalates as the Ashigaru pour into Eastside, and soon the region is rife with street fights, drive-bys, and the occasional shootout.

The Family takes the opportunity to suppress a number of irritating police precincts they've been meaning to deal with for a while now, which leaves about half the cities precincts out of commission.

The Santos Espada respond, founding the Santos Espada Angeles Sangrientos in the vacant neighborhood and using their spare funds to boost their damaged sets. The Santos Espada retaliation collapses several Samurai and Ashigaru sets, leaving Downtown half empty.

With Long Beach and Hollywood completely free of police precincts and most other regions at best half-patrolled, Chimera must feel that taking extra heat is not much of an issue anymore. That, or they just don't care. Either way, their stealth craft is back and they use it to slip straight past your shielding set and hit the Dream Boy Legion's hideouts in Avalon. This doesn't result in a whole lot of damage, but the set was always extremely flimsy, and immediately collapses. The government sends up fighters to try and find the thing, but no luck. It's vanished in an instant.

This, naturally, precedes an attack on your territory by their main forces. The usual shadow war on the surface is combined with heavy gunfire in the tunnels below. The Second Aggressor Division attacks the Silver Guard but does little damage, however the First and Third team up to attack the Platinum Guard. Though the Third Aggressor Division takes heavy losses, the Platinum Guard collapses completely.

The news is so busy delivering stories about the imminent victory of Team Red and the bombing in Avalon that they don't even seem to notice the meteor that lands on Catalina Island. It doesn't escape your notice, however.

Rica leads the Lunatic Hounds to attack the First Aggressors, and with her at the helm, the First Aggressors only barely cling on, and the Lunatics take fairly minimal damage themselves. Rica follows up with the Steel Guard, which successfully finishes it off.

Yes, that's been possible for a while. Not only that, you've actually done so. It's called Droids Do, you have I think two separate franchises going right now.

Mechs aren't infinitely reconfigurable anymore, so the old Skyfire mech build is unavailable (though it can be unlocked again for only 2 XP), and the build might not be valid under the current rules.

Well, I'm shit at strategy, but I daresay I am good at ideas.

Here's some of them, for your consideration.

Look for what's not as stealthed. Jet fuel deliveries, a building that happens to slide open to a bigass hangar, whatever.

Make floating balloon bombs that explode on contact. If they sense something coming, they shut down, so the only thing that sets them off is the stealth fighter. (this one probably isn't a good idea)

If we have a good idea of how it's built, we might be able to find the hangar by cross-referencing the places the bomber has shown up with how far it can fly. Probably has too long a range for that though.

Hack a satellite to look for it.

By the way, how much collateral damage is this gang warfare causing, and is it possible to take steps to reduce this though training in targeted strikes/operations?

The collateral damage is mostly that there's an extremely sharp rise in victims of violent crime. Any set that you founded (you can tell because they'll have Hookers as their primary business) will generally be making more precise, surgical strikes, and will be causing less collateral damage, as opposed to your sets bribed over from the Hounds and Stalkers, who generally don't give a shit. You can't really train those guys, you can just disband the sets and replace them. Either way, the affected areas are far from a warzone.

People are kind of freaking out about that bomber, because it actually shot missiles at your hideouts and shooting missiles at US cities is Not Okay. But there's not a ton that the city can do about it right now short of declaring martial law...Which is on the table, but they aren't that desperate yet.

So the Iron Master takes the Radical Guard and attacks the weakened Third Aggressor Division, and they collapse under the attack. Julio, meanwhile, heads over to Eastside to investigate the rumors Red Death discovered last week. Unfortunately, he's not able to learn much more. Asrael is very good at covering his tracks.
