DRAGON QUEST IS BACK BABEH (I apologise for my absence, I know I said I'd continue last weekend but I just wasn't feeling up for it. Plus uni work has started getting serious.)

Greetings Fatguys and Catgirls, and welcome BACK to /tg/'s Dragon Quest!

Part 1: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21105648/
Part 2:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21120178/
Part 3:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21139200/
Part 4 http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21191520/

This is Halmorra, a continent home to all manner of creatures great and small, smart and dumb, peaceful and violent. And none are greater, smarter and capable of more violence than Dragons.

Capable of living for thousands of years, there are no more than a hundred or so of these creatures in existence. Titans of Nature, Primordial forces, Living Storms, Winged Death, Benevolent Healer, a Dragon can be all of these things.

LAST TIME, ON /tg/'s Dragon Quest you:

Scared and slaughtered half a tribe of Barbarians
Killed their Leader, who gave you far more trouble than he should have
Brought the rest of them into your service
Turned their encampment into a gleaming metal village, with your huge, gleaming spire which holds your nest atop it.

More Follows in next post.

You are currently traveling to Kano in search of Farow.

(Also due to some opinions you guys had, The Hermit/Malkon will now be referred to as Bromit. Let me know if this is okay.)

"I'm worried about you."

The rushing wind makes it difficult to hear Bromit's words as you both soar through the sky, looking down at the trees of Pointip forest as they rush underneath. But you know exactly what he means.

You open your mouth, gaping maw forming a response.

What is your response /tg/? (Also is some exposition required for new joiners?)
>>

You shouldn't. But I would like to hear why.

(Alright. Up until the last thread, you were still a young, somewhat childlike and naive Dragon about the size of a horse. Bromit was the first living thing you met, and he took you in, you learned shit by spending time with him, you helped him fight off the Barbarians that would come ritually come to beat him for fun. Then you got enough experience and hibernated, awakening in your second form, which is larger than most buildings. You're also a lot more intelligent and powerful, and then you slaughtered and enslaved the Barbarians. Right now you're flying away after finishing enslaving them. You should be able to guess why Bromit is worried about you.)
>>
>>21311349
exelent summation thank you

tell bromit that we're cool, we just needed some laborers for stuff and things.
>>
>>21311197
"Is that because I killed half of them or because I didn't kill half of them?"
>>
>>21311349
cool. I guess he's worried about the enslaving and slaughtering part.

"Do you not approve of my actions, Bromit?"
>>
>>21311397
>>21311421
>>21311398

"You fear me, friend?" You ask, voice rumbling and echoing through the sky. You hear a sigh and feel Bromit lean back slightly.

"I do not fear you, no." He replies. You can tell he is choosing his words carefully. "I fear what you may be becoming."

The only sound now is the wind rushing past, you are halfway across the forest now.

"...Were my actions not in line with your intentions?" You say, flying slightly lower.

Bromit does not answer your question for sometime, however you feel him shift uncomfortable on your neck. Eventually he comes out it.

"You could say that. I just wanted to get back at them for the years of torture, not slaughter them." His voice grows harsher. "And I certainly had no intention of enslaving them."

"But did you not want vengeance?" You reply, cocking your head back slightly and moving your eyes to get a glimpse of Bromit.

"I wanted vengeance within reason." He replies, looking you dead in the eye. "I only wanted to give a mild beating and receive an apology. You're the one who turned it into a bloodbath."

Bromit sighs and leans forward. "I'm worried...afraid, of what you're becoming."

What do you do /tg/?
>>
I admit i may have gone a bit overboard but they deserved it for attacking you.
>>
>>21311598
"But if we agree that their past behaviour was unacceptable, is it not appropriate that we take action to prevent such behaviour in the future?"
>>
>>21311598
"Hm. They attacked me and you, and my... instincts told me not to let it slide. Do you think they would have been worth anything alive and free? They would have just continued their ways, senselessly and ugly. Why not make an example out of some of them and then forge the others into something more... beautiful?
>>
>>21311706
Going with this, let's please not creep out our only friend and allyright now?
>>
>>21311814
We can scarcely creep him out any more than when we slaugthered half a human tribe in front of him. Better to tell him our reasons for it (REFORGE), so that he may lecture us in the value of the unforged and pull us from this dangerous road..

>>21311814
>>21311623

"Afraid of what I am becoming?" You ask, beating your wings and soaring higher into the sky. "You forget, they initiated combat, not me."

Bromit leans back as he lets out a dry chuckle. "That wasn't combat, Iridius, that was wholesale slaughter. You could've ended it at anytime."

Beginning to grow weary of moral discussions, you reply.

"And I did. I left half of them alive. The fact that some of them remain is a testament to my benevolence. Were they all left alive they would've continued fighting and pillaging. Bloodshed would've continued. I have spared other innocents their wrath by unleashing my own. Perhaps I have committed an atrocity, yes, but can you honestly say that there is another way of dealing with savages?"

Bromit falls silent, leaving only the wind to accompany you. For a while you wonder if he has perhaps fallen asleep, before he suddenly breaks the silence.
>>
>>21312000

"You may have a point." He says eventually, his voice hoarse. "But that doesn't mean I have to like. Their quarrel was with me, not you. Don't you dare ever do anything like that again." His tone was one that a parent takes when scolding their child, and you feel the intended effects. "And tone down on the ego. Honestly "benevolence"?. You're starting to sound like a Lich in a fairy tale.

You come to a standstill, wings beating and glistening in the sunlight, holding up your giant frame. Your turn your head, craning your neck to look at him. "I am..sorry, friend. Human morality and...emotions are difficult to understand. It seems I still have much to learn."

You see Bromit turn away, as if he is still angry with you, but you see a small smile creep onto his face.

"You don't know the half of it."

You resume flying forward, before you remember something.

"You never answered my question friend, what is it you believe I am becoming?"

Bromit lets out a sigh audible even at this velocity, and leans forward.

"A Dragon."

You are now flying over the green expanse between Kan farms and Pointip forest.

What do you do /tg/?
>>
>>21312007

(Oh just in case. You are currently heading to Kano. You can change your destination if you wish, but it is the destination you and Bromit set out for. Or you can continue on your current course, hence why I asked what you guys wanted to do.)
>>
>>21312099
Ask Bromit if it would be wise for us to directly fly to Kano. How common are dragons for humans? How hostile would they react? And are the streets broad enough for us? If not we might want to head towards the unknown Inn. We can gather information there, its out in the open, and its less high profile than the city itself.
>>
>>21312007
We are a large Dragon now, we do not need this small man and his little voice that tells us of morals. Of course we are becoming a Dragon, we ARE a dragon! We should do a barrel roll, dropping his pathetic form onto the pointy pine trees below. We are grown now, and need no words or help from a puny manling.
>>
>>21312099
Visit Lake Kano to rest and get a drink.

We can only Glide for now, so I guess trying not to fly too much is a good idea.
>>
>>21312007

>>
>>21312007

>>
>>21312325

>>
>>21312161

"Is this wise, friend?" You ask, turning your head slightlyas you soar above Kan Farms

"Erm, Iridius. You might want to fly a little higher."

You put more effort into your wingbeats and fly higher, soaring into the clouds.

"Why?" You ask, turning your head as you question him.

"Humans aren't...accustomed...to seeing huge lizards flying through the air. Especially one like you." He replies sheepishly. "I probably should've mentioned that before."

A glance at the fields, easily visible even from this height with your vision, shows that the humans working them are now pointing up at the sky. Some had even begun to flee.

>>21312258

"What do we do now?" You ask, unsure of how to handle the situation.

"Lake Kano." Bromit replies, pointing to the bright, shimmering pond to the west. "Probably best if we don't go straight into the village, we might end up scaring the wrong people."

With another stroke of your wings, you make your way over to the lake. Long grass surrounds its edge. A small, cobbled stretch of well-used road runs along its South bank. An Inn comes into view as you approach. A small but well-kept Inn, made from stone and timber. A small, fenced off field nearby houses several large, four legged mammals that look delicious.

You come in to land.

Roll for the land /tg/!

The ground quakes as your giant form lands, sending dust billowing out in all directions as you slide to a halt. Birds shoot from tree as you terrify them.

You turn you head to look across the lake. It may be harmful to you, but you can appreciate how the water looks as it ripples in the wind and shimmers in the setting sun. Lowering your neck, you turn to look at the Inn as Bromit dismounts. Already there are patrons standing in awe, some rubbing their eyes in disbelief, others laughing drunkenly, and finally most of them fleeing.

Bromit raises his hands and runs towards the group. "CALM. CALM. HE MEANS YOU NO HARM. WE, MEAN YOU NO HARM. THERE IS NO NEED TO RUN!" He shouts after the five or so people fleeing, to no avail. "Damn it." He whispers under his breath.

The gaggle of people that remained however, seemed frozen in shock, just like the Barbarians. Except one of them had fainted.

"Damnit, damnit." Bromit panics, turning to you and shouting. "Tell them you're not going to harm anybody!"

What do you do /tg/, and roll for your action.
>>
>>21312768

Nah, i just don't want this to turn into another "Gather Minions and take over the world" dragon quest. Been there, done that and it failed because everyone got bugged down in politics and bickering.

We can collect a horde and have our fun in the world without trying to enslave everyone. I am pretty sure the humans would pay a lot for a blade forged from our metal. We dont need to hide, but we also dont need to rule everything, because we can literally make our own horde out of the stuff we dig of the ground. And eat, btw.
>>

>>21312837

"Greetings, humans." You say, lowering your head so as not to appear too imposing. "Bromit speaks truth. I do not come here with evil intentions, I am here only to help my friend here find justice."

The crowd does not seem to respond positively to your works. Shocked silence has turned to harsh whispering, and a single woman begins to scream.

>>21312897
>>21312862
>>21312962
(Gotta go with the two 20s)
You observe the fragile crowd, realizing that they are far to unaccustomed to your presence.

"Just pretend I'm not here."

And with that, you dive into the water, growling slightly as you remember what happened last time you submerged yourself in water. Hopefully, you won't be in here all that long and will not suffer any ill effects.

You hope that Bromit can convince them of your intentions before you have to change them.

(Also bear in mind that you can possess people who are in possession of metal objects that you have created. Also remember that Bromit doesn't know this, and neither do you actually.)
>>
>>21313006
Why not free the land from the tyranny of the king, and make Bromit the new God Emperor of Mankind, flying atop our bronze back?

Let's explore the lake while we're here. Maybe make it deeper.
>>
>>21313025

You look around the lake floor, trying to find anything of interest. You see a small glint just across the seabed.

What do you do /tg/? (Sorry I forgot this from the last post.)
>>

It's treasure, we need to Reforge it for our glorious horde. Take that shit mane.

It's going to be a dragon isn't it?
>>
Question: Is bromit still wearing that awesome armor we made for him? If so, that should give him a little bit of intimidation against these peasants.
>>
>>21313071
If its shiny we should use detect metal. If it is iron we can just levitate it to us, no reason for moving in the water.

It just occured to me that we can stop any kind of human aggression peacefully by magnetizing their weapons away.

Fucking Magnets.
>>
Rolled 11

>>21313071
If it's a dragon's egg or something along those lines, we take it and raise it until it can support itself, we could do with dragon allies, humans can only do so much.
>>
>>21313129
We like how this one thinks.
We would second this one and his intelligence.
>>
>>21313129
If need be we can also become a whirlwind of steel, or stop metal arrows.

Magnets are overpowered.
>>
>>21313025
Aw shit, if our possession power gets stronger we could open up an efficient household tools trade and then possess all the people in the country. Tyranny ho?
>>
>>21313088
>>21313098

You walk over to the glint, unsure of what you will find.

There, buried in the dirt, is a small golden picture locket. Using your magnetic abilities, you raise the locket out of the dirt. It is tightly closed, whatever remains inside has been protected from the effects of water. The locket itself is badly tarnished however, gold plating fading away to reveal cold iron underneath.

What do you do /tg/?

(Also I'm thinking of changing magnetic manipulation to metal manipulation. Tell me what you guys think about this.)

You are unable to forge items while submerged.

>>21313258
>>21313320

It has been several minutes since you submerged yourself underwater, and you are beginning to lose patience. You do not know if Bromit has convinced the gathering yet, however you are beginning to feel the rusting effect. Deciding that your prescence would not help negotiations, you begin to dig down, violently. Once you have made a hole deep enough, you spew molten metal onto the top of the hole, which hisses and cools almost instantly due to the water. Once it is sealed, you begin to dig down further, so that the water begins to drain away, leaving you with a cave that can barely house you, but means you will no longer be at risk of rusting.

Not wanting to risk digging into the inn, you sit there and wait. Closing your eyes, you begin to wonder how long it will take Bromit to convince the crowd, since you've been down here fora considerable amount of time. They're probably discussing it inside the tavern now.

You can imagine Bromit sitting at a table, telling the people the tale of how you two met. You can recall what they looked like perfectly. You can imagine their reactions perfectly. Some have their jaws agape, others are wide eyed, listening to Bromit's every word.

Then you realize you ARE watching them react.

You're inside Bromit's head. You are watching them with his eyes. Everything seems slightly blurrier, slightly dimmer than what your used to. Sound seems muffled, and this body feels so...soft, so weak and delicate.

But you can understand what is happening. Bromit seems to have convinced them that you are not a threat to them.

You try to move Bromit's hand, intent on finding out how this fleshy body works. The hand jerks slightly, and Bromit turns to look at it, slightly worried, before returning to his story.

It appears you can exert your will over Bromit, and anyone else who wields an item that you have created. However you must do so consciously, and they will be aware of every action you make when taking over their bodies. You can also simply ride along in Bromit's mind, as you are doing now. You are also capable of making limited use of your abilities when in direct possession of a host.

Your body will enter a state of stasis when you do this.

Abilities available when in direct possession of a host:

Enhanced Strength
Enhanced Dexterity
Magnetic Manipulation
Heal
Steel Body (Permanent once activated. Ends when possession ends.)

Interesting. Now lets try to get into the lake and from there back on dry land. Also heal ourselves, i think we are still a bit hurt from our bout with the barbarian warlord.

Is there a limit on how often we can use the healing spell?

You lurk in the back of Bromit's mind, listening as he finishes his story, up until the point where you landed just under an hour ago. He leaves out the part concerning the Barbarians.

The crowd stand their agape, some applaud, others shocked, most seem doubtful until he reminds them that he arrived here on top of the 50 foot lizard.

You are about to leave and return to your own body, when the Inn door bursts open. There, standing in the hallway, tall and imposing, is a Kano City guard, who turns and addresses the bartender.

"We've had several recent reports of some sort of..." He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of parchment. "...Iron beast? In this area." He says, looking around the room with an unimpressed look on his face. "I've come here to tell you that false reports are a crime, and will be punished as such. Any more of these made-up tales and you can all look forward to a night in the cells."

And with that, he turns around, slamming the door as he leaves. You feel Bromit's chest relax as he breathes a sigh of relief.

>>21314152
>>21313961
>>21313900

Content with what you have heard, you leave Bromit's body and return to your own. Back in your powerful form, you begin digging upwards, instantly regretting it as you get a facefull of water. You jump up through the hole you have made and slowly walk to the shore. Raising your head slightly above the water, you can see that night has fallen, and the torches of the guards were now moving away. The people seemed to have calmed, as there is now merriment coming from within the inn.

You look at the guards with distaste, and begin making a low, rumbling noise. You begin growl a deep, guttural growl that makes one of the guards jump when he hears it, before encouraging the rest of his unit to move faster, to their and your amusement.

>>21314361
However, you get too confident, and your growl slips into a roar. The guards are running now. The Inn has gone quiet. You see Bromit exit the inn, his face a mask of anger, but before he can speak...

>>21314301
>>21314330

You first submerge yourself again. Coming up with a mouthful of water, you raise your huge head...and begin spraying it out.

You begin to rise out of the water, your front legs and wings extended outwards, shimmering in the moonlight. You shake your claws shaking rhythmically as the sound of a brass instrument begins to emanate from the inn. You begin to sway back and forth to the sound of the saxaphone as it plays in the the moonlight. Truly you are a Dragon of metal.

Bromit stands before you, his face now showing his confusion, before he finally bursts out laughing as you walk sideways out of the lake on your hind legs, arms outstretched and claws still shaking, before your water runs out and you fall onto all fours again.

Bromit is on the ground, convulsing with laughter. Several patrons are also now laughing.

"They were already leaving." You reply. "I simply made them leave with haste."

Bromit stands there, a look of disbelief on his face. He walks towards you slowly, until he is close enough to touch you.

"And another thing..."

He cocks his hand back, and lets loose a punch which reverberates off your metal skin. You have received 1 damage. Your health is now 423/480

Please don't let yourself be restricted by a single player. If you think it fits, do what you want. I do not dislike silliness per se. It simply appeared random at this moment, which I dislike. I do not intend to complain about this sort of stuff anymore.

Actual suggestion:
"Sorry. I did not try to enter your head and only noticed it after some time. Now that I know how it works it won't happen again."
turn to the others present and say "I am glad you don't seem to fear me anymore. I trust my presence will not cause any more fainting and running?"

Lets find out what happened in the years since Bromit left. Wouldn't want to have his return spoiled by little stuff like finding out the city was captured by another faction in his absence.
>>
>>21314680
I didn't even know I could! There's no 'Dragon Manual' I can read to learn this stuff, I'm just learning this stuff as I go along.

"However..." You continue, drawing yourself up to your full height. You reach down to the cobblestone road, and tear a large chunk out of it with a single claw.

"You'd do well to remember who crafted the armour you wear, who returned your youth, and who slayed the beast that had kept you hostage for so long." You let what remains of the stone crumble in front of him.

Bromit bows his head, evidently regretting what he had just done. He kneels down in front of you.

"I am...sorry for my outburst." He says, not looking at you. "You're right, I do owe you much. Please forgive me."

While I agree with Bob the Hermit is still kind of justified in his rage. I mean we (as in us players) often think mind control, especially if the person being controlled is still concious, is a very horrible thing. Now if you put that thinking into a setting where such a thing is very much possible and can happen to you at any time, wouldn't you want haul off and punch the jackass who thought it would be fun to experiment his possesion on you? I mean sure we didn't know how it worked, but people have been condemed in the real for that thought process. "Hey do you know how this strange new thing works? No? Well better fiddle with if without any caution what so ever."

He's also the closest thing we have to a friend, even if you can effortlessly beat the shit out of your friend, you don't try some bullshit strongarm tatics because you fucked up and he calls you out on it.

Besides, like you said, we're a dragon, punching us is like giving us a flick on the arm.

We can't be like "We're equals" but at the same time be all "Don't fuck with me imma dragon!"

If we're equals, us being a dragon should have no bearing whatsoever.

Try to tag it in the same way each time. You don't want a bunch of different tags every time. Also, try to have at least one tag that is the same for each archived thread e.g. "Dragon Quest Thread". You lower your head down so that you are at eye level with Bromit. "Why do you kneel, friend?"

Bromit looks up, somewhat confused. It seems he wasn't even aware he was kneeling. You continue.

"A friend does not kneel to another, regardless of their quarrel. You were the first human I ever met, you have taught me almost everything I know."

You move in slightly closer.

"Do you think me so petty? A strike is nothing between friends, I struck you once before, do you not remember? You forgave me, but I worked for your forgiveness. Now stand, lest my respect for you be lost."

Bromit, however, does not stand. Instead, he looks at you.

"That last one sounded like an order." He says, a smile creeping onto his face. " I thought friends didn't give orders to one another?"

You begin to chuckle, a deep. rumbling sound that seems to shake the ground. "Then I order you to remain kneeling." You say in jest.

Bromit responds by jumping to his feet, laughing as he does, but when the laughter stops, you stare at each other in an awkward silence.

Bromit is the first to break it. "Not a bad hit though was it?" He says, grinning whilst flexing his arm.

"And whats that?" you ask, following behind.

Bromit does not answer, and dissapears into the Inn. Sometime passes, and you hear what sounds like metal scraping a wooden floor.

Then suddenly, a large barrel crashes through the door, followed shortly by Bromit, who is clutching two kegs under his arms and wobbling slightly.

"Tonight friend?" He says, words slurring. "Tonight, we drink!"

And with that, he kicks the barrel over to you, the sound of beer sloshing inside drowning out all other sounds...

(Next post in a second)

Let's get drunk and be somebody.
>>
I have a feeling that a huge dragon capable of controlling his best friend and breathing molten metal getting drunk is a bad idea.
>>
>>21316016
Of course, being a huge dragon, it should take more than a barrel and a keg to get us drunk. Assuming that the other keg is for Bromit, of course.
>>
>>21315941

It is an odd sensation, being drunk. It had taken nearly two dozen barrels of Nalk's (was he the bartender? You think he was...drunk hard to remember things) strongest ale, but you and Bromit were now climbing up Caneor Mount together, laughing the entire way.

When you reached the top, both of you turned to look out at the world.

Kano was quiet, a small port and fishing village, it had only a few people wondering the streets, most of whom were even more drunk than you. On the Kan farms the farmers had gone to bed, getting ready to wake at the first sign of sunrise. From the Inn echoed a chorus of 'Drago the Drunk Dragon', which you presence obviously inspired.

You lay down atop the mount, finding a flat expanse of grass on the edge of a sharp fall. Bromit takes a seat beside you, and together you simply watch the world.

Would you to ask Bromit about other Dragons now /tg/?

"Yeah?" He asks, swaying as he turns to look at you.

"Before, you said you were afraid I was becoming a Dragon." You say, turning your head to look at him. "What did you mean by that?"

Bromit didn't reply, he instead picked up another keg and began drinking.

"Bromit." You say, louder this time.

He stops drinking and lets out a sigh, leaning back and looking at the sky. "I don't know much about Dragons." He says, voice eerily calm. "Only thing I have to go on are tales from others. Normally a drunk adventurer or an old soldier from when I was still serving."

"There are many types of... your kind." He continues, taking another swig. "I don't know all the types, but what I do know is that almost all of them care very little for humanoid life. Whether you are an Orc or an Elf, Dwarf or Human, Dragons do not care, you are either food or a servant."

"Sure, only Red Dragons actually go out of their way to be bastards, but the rest seem to think of us as either playthings or annoyances. But then I suppose that's what happens when you wield the kind of power your kind have." He turns to look at you. "That's why I was worried. The way you took over the Barbarian tribe...you didn't seem to think their lives were worth anything, and I know for a fact that you thought about killing that group of people outside the inn."

You begin to speak, but Bromit holds up a hand. "Don't deny it." He says, taking another gulp of ale. "I thought about it too." He says, chuckling.

What would you like to ask /tg/?

"These other types...what are they?" You ask, staring intently.

"Well...I only know a bit off the top of my head. We've already met the Green Dragons, haven't we?" He says, chuckling and turning to look at you. "Crazy lizards obsessed with greenery is how I'd describe them."

"Then there's the Blue Dragons. The Waterborn or something. I don't know, but they keep to the oceans and water. Nobody really knows much about them.

"There's the Grey Dragons. Nobody knows much about them either, mainly because they live in the mountains to the North and that they're too damn fast to catch."

Bromit takes another swig, before sitting upright.

"And then there's the Red Dragons." He growls, clearly he is not a fan of them. "Tyrants, bastards, overlords, flame-wielding psychopaths. You name an atrocity, chances are they've already done it. They rip the land and people apart for their amusement, they burn villages as entertainment and they enslave any who survive. They're hated and feared in equal measure"

Bromit finishes his keg and tosses it aside.

"And finally...there's you."

A silence follows as you wait for Bromit to continue. He doesn't.
>>
>>21316737

"And what about my kind?" You ask, eager to learn more about your species.

Bromit lets out a sigh.

"That's just it Iridius." He says, unable to meet your eyes. "I've never heard of a Metal Dragon. Neither has anyone I've ever met."

You stare blankly at Bromit. "What do you mean?" you ask.

"I mean...as far as I know, you're the only one of your kind." He says sheepishly, unsure how you will react.

You look back across the landscape once again, thinking. You remember how the Nature Dragon seemed somewhat offended by your existence. How it had demanded to know what you were.

You're the only one of your kind.

What do you do /tg/?

Not bad.
Not quite...and we sound quite like a paladin again...but we can fudge this.
>>
for we are Bromidius!
>>
>>21317286
We could be just a very bro-tier knight

It's like a paladin without the whole divine thing attached to it, and we can do morally ambiguous shit.
>>
How does Bromit feel about this? I mean both our oath and our sudden eloquence despite being a gigantic drunk dragon
>>
>>21317314
Can we not be Lawful Stupid?
that's my main problem...Also. Magic? Necromancy area is sort of...there. It's not evil in most senses and well..feed a red a rotting corpse would be funny
>>
>>21317372
More like Neutral Stupid with some Chaotic tendencies. We do whatever shit is good, regardless of what your king wants.
>>
>>21317372
Bah, we're a steel golem with master forging techniques, we go artificer and build us golems.

No bad PR, and you get tireless servants who are a bitch to kill, you can also upgrade them later.

WE SHALL CALL OURSELF THE IRON MASTE- what do you mean that name's already been taken?!

(Sorry if it sounds to Paladiny, but look at it this way. Even if you are a Paladin, you are the God of the religion you worship, you can do whatever the hell you want.)

And with a deep breath, you spew molten metal across the rock face, filling the words you just carved out and leaving them red hot and glowing.

You sit back, admiring your handiwork. Bromit walks to your side, and you both stare at what you have just created.

Several minutes of silence pass, the metal begins to cool, now a shining silver, the words reflected in the moonlight. Bromit turns to you.

"How drunk are you?" He asks.

"Incredibly." You reply.

"Going to regret this in the morning?"

"Probably."

"Do you care?"

"Unlikely."

"Want more Ale?"

"Absolutely."

And with that, the two of you drink, sing and laugh the night away, until sleep takes you both.

I'd like to still be able to be an asshole. But thanks for considering our view bro.
>>
>>21317511

You're still welcome to be an asshole, I don't see how the oath changes that...
