You contemplate on what you have during the day, and consider that you could start working on a bare bones of what is needed to make such a daring plan you devised attainable. you will be using the Tablet to write the commands and the few crystal matrices to store and simulate a few of the parameters you need.

It will not be enough by a far-cry, but it is a start. You would like a complete computational outfit of a simulation laboratory like you remember your father having multiple instances of and underlings toiling ceaselessly to produce results, old memories from his glory days of combat against the Asgard.

The camp pours over their little loot that was less worth than the ammunition they spent fighting, and considers what to do with it. Little but sell it away, except the Healing Device and the goa'uld calculus machine parts, and as your hosts goes to sleep, you take over and proceed to walk to your own devices.

Okay guys. I listed the proposed names for our serpenty majesty. Vote for one:

[] Leviathan: May already be taken, but fits our theme imho almost perfectly, since its a symbol of the commonwealth (Hobbes) and we've generally been having an underwater thing going on.

[] Aponus: A spring in Italy. Its been suggested mostly for punny reasons: Aponus - upon us

[] Hyperion: Greek titan of light. Might already been taken, though since he was rather important.

[] Prometheus: Greek titan, punished by the gods for bringing fire to mankind. Symbol for SCIENCE. Might be tempting fate.

[] Dalek: Self-explanaEXTERMINATE!

[] Clarence: A guardian Angel, apparently

Hope i got them all.

Someone on Earth obviously found the Stargate and figured out how to dial out.
Whoever found the Stargate probably formed a joint Stargate Command with other nations, and sent an exploratory team.
Also, just as obviously, they didn't find the coordinates for their own world before they left, resulting in them being unable to dial their homeworld.

They gained access to the Gate that was being housed in the US somehow, or volunteered to take part in a stargate program. Given the ease with which SG1 gained access to the gate while it was in storage in 1969 I'd say they talked to someone from the 1945 program and they broke in.

hummm.... in the least mission we did sort of a blend were our host and our self for a short time became one entity.

might look into it more as it would give us more credibility to the mercenarys morally more likely to accept a blending vs straight up possession and makes it more easier to manipulate them. risk of host's personality/goals creeping in however. (not sure how much although)

as for modifying hosts we can't do anything relay crazy..... however we can use our super science to make a genetically engineered body if we want custom built for us. hummm... build the brain so it operates in parallel with us (basically sub processor to our brain) if host destroyed we can make another. if we are killed but host lives it could give birth to a new us. heck if you want to get really crazy the host we could make could spawn more Goa'uld and sort of act as a queen. now imagining a spiked tail used to inject Goa'uld parasites rather than poison.
>>
>>21672846
Well, that would likely require extensive research into genetics.
>>
>>21672846
>more likely to accept a blending vs straight up possession
Blending IS straight up possession.
The only reason they are willing to accept the current arrangement is because we can't control the host in our current state, and so they feel they are safer from us.
If we Blended and had control over the host's body, the mercenaries would become HARDER to manipulate because they would distrust everything we say.

Also, while we have a lot of information due to our genetic memory, Ra was not a Goa'uld scientist like Thoth, Telchak, or Ja'din. We would need to do extensive research, construct genetic resequencing equipment close to Ancient-level technology, and not to mention have the genetic samples of a Goa'uld Queen.
It'd be easier to steal cloning technology from the Asgard and clone ourselves like Ba'al did.

As you move to the area that is supposed to be the hybrid between a workshop and a laboratory, you are greeted with the image of a old, old man between wires, disassembled parts of goa'uld weaponry and various components that you suspect are the unassembled parts of the human weapons fire-power.

You speak to him about your designs and what you would hope to accomplish with the crystal computer, but he diverts your conversation towards power distribution and allocation, and composition.

After maddening hours you get one straight response from him:

"I can do power and chemistry. I am no codebreaker or codewrider. Getting your cipher to work is your own problem. However if we continue these talk I think it is possible to simply shut down power throughout these ships, should you command it right through your cipher." he answers with a glint in his eyes.

"And this will require, what exactly that we dont have?" Is your immediate response. You dont need to be told. Science Underlings always need something that they dont have.

"Well, more of these crystals and a lot of these wonderful Zatnikatels and Taks. If we had a machine code writer or a code breaker you could get some help with the commands and the code but I can only do devices."

Goa'uld grenade Analogues.

>Tok'Kal, or shock grenades, are Goa'uld and Tok'ra weapons used for non-lethal purposes. Similar to a Tau'ri flashbang, they are designed to emit intense light and sound, rendering anyone in the vicinity unconscious near-instantaneously. Those hit by the grenades also suffer from temporary blindness lasting about an hour after regaining consciousness. A variant of the device can also be used as explosives.
>Takunitagaminituron or simply Tac/Tak for short, is a small Goa'uld device, rather similar in appearance to a Goa'uld shock grenade. It is remotely activated, and fires small bursts of energy at warm objects, such as warm-blooded beings and flares

Acquiring the crystals, zatnikatels, and taks will then have to be part of our next mission. It will tack on more time, but it will greatly increase the chance of success, perhaps even allowing us to capture more than one Ha'tak.

But first, the incomplete kara'kesh. Does the Science Underling believe that he has the components we need to complete it?
>>
>>21673077
He has no idea. Since its just some components randomly fused together, and never studied them while active.

>Quick update before work.
[x]Try to work on the crystal matrices you have with the stone tablet.

Your talk done with the science underling Nikola, the one thing that weights on your mind is the actual tool with which you are supposedly going to caputer a ha'tak.

When you look at them there is not much to inspire confidence. A dozen and a half data and regulation crystals and a tablet that limits how much you can visualize. A chore for the best of underlings.

As you pour through them however you realize that you can do nothing that will directly affect any Ha'tak subsystems with what little you have, considering you dont have the latest command protocols for the current age, nor the specific dialect of the target.

This however does not stop you from being productive with your time. You manage to cleanse six useless crystals of everything they had on them, and with a bit of creative if short commands and pieced together protocols you have made your first divine instruments.

Parasite Data Crystals. Devices that will leech into the data sphere of a crystallise network and unleash their payload. A simple tool that lets you use slave work or other illiterate minions to conduct your affairs, provided you prepared for it.

And their first payload, Vampiracy protocols, a little self developing kraken of a program that will sniff and attract any data that it can in a very tightly packed and indexed archive while it attempts to destroy anything else.

In your fight with the forces of entropy success rings on the fronts of power distribution and ring platform usage.

With this you find that the old schematics and pages upon pages of calculus of one of your fathers underling about a old for your current time method of more efficiently powering multiple systems simultaneously with the same powersource while at the same thime using a second powersource just for one, and the usage of power receptacles that hold in themselves reserves for emergency periods.

It seems that in-between these notes the goa'uld underling had a intense rivalry with another one over competing designs and the same position in your fathers court as well as the paranoid ravings of the author of how your father would favour a more simple approach for mass distribution due to the war.

On another crystal of the same library you find a large enumeration of experiments and a few designs for fast evacuation ring platforms and quite a bit of theory of what is needed to get in or out of a situation with a ring platform without getting noticed. Mostly on getting out, since a large number of time seems to be dedicated to evacuating the base you just raided while under possible orbital bombardment and shields.

I wonder if we could sabotage the rings so that Jaffa enter, but they don't rematerialize.
>>
>>21682677
I'm guessing the rings have a safety mechanism so they won't activate without a receiver. I think if we could disable that safety, we could engineer have a situation where the transmitter converts its cargo into energy but then has nowhere to send it, which would be problematic for anyone standing nearby since 80 kilograms of Jaffa equals 1.7 gigatons of TNT.

Wouldnt it only have that kind of yield if they were converted into anti-matter?
>>
>>21685263
Not necessarily.
The Rings already convert them to pure energy. So we don't need the anti-matter to do the energy conversion.
>>
>>21685263
Energy is energy. At those yields, the differences don't really matter.

We need to go over this data, see if it's possible to lock out or disable the safeties on a Ring Transporter. Maybe use the power schematics to try to shut down power to the Ha'taks.

As for the computer, try to have the mercenaries acquire one through their contacts. In exchange we will provide them with cultural knowledge of the Goa'uld and Jaffa, to better escape their notice, and we will provide translation and social consultation services in the mean-time.

>All matter the rings contain when they are activated is dematerialized and teleported via matter stream to another set of rings in a different location where it is then rematerialized. A unique feature of the Transportation rings is that it "swaps" matter between the two locations. If there is a person or object within the receiving set of rings, the rings simply exchange the two simultaneously. This is a safety measure to prevent transmitted matter from "fusing" with ambient matter – an occurrence that would damage inanimate objects and kill organic life even if were merely atmospheric gases in the way. It also makes possible a method of covert escape from an area – if one is under the rings as they come down, one will be transported out while an enemy happens to be transporting in. The rings, unlike Stargates, make no distinction between whole objects; matter is transported regardless of whether or not the entire object is within the confines of the rings. One of Ra's guards was killed when he was pinned head-first beneath an active set of rings.

>A set of rings can descend a short distance from a ship hovering above a planet's surface to the ground, a technique commonly used for entering and exiting Tel'taks. When SG-1 used a Tel'tak's rings to enter an Ancient facility on Proclarush Taonas the rings physically smashed through a thin layer of solidified lava to reach their destination.

>They can be activated by a ring remote worn on the arm or hand by Goa'uld and their Jaffa, or controlled by a remote panel located somewhere near a ring platform. Ring platforms are sometimes extremely well camouflaged, with the rings appearing to emerge from ordinary floors.

:tl'dr No ring teleportation bombs wont work, because the safety functions are not a feature but a core design paradigm.
No cheap 'Zorp' for a Goa'uld to design.

>Transported matter passes between sets of rings in a matter stream that can be detected by a ship's sensors. It is possible to intercept a matter stream that is in transport by interposing a set of mobile rings (like those in a Goa'uld shuttlecraft) between the sending rings and the planned receiving rings. However, such an intercept requires that the entire matter stream be captured by the intercepting rings (i.e. the intercepting craft must be still); otherwise, the transported people will not be able to fully reintegrate and will die.

If we can inject some random noise into the transport system, we should be able to kill anyone who goes through. All we need to do then is blind the ship's external sensors so they don't see that it's turning their guys inside out.

It's not as much fun as reducing an entire continent to ashes, but I'm sure we'll find other opportunities to commit planetary arson.

Still, that alone could drive hundreds of Jaffa to join us.

Possible ways we could go with this. 1)Dragon slaying ritual. A Jaffa must kill or retrieve a Goa'uld from a rival power and get the body back to us soon enough that its still useable.
2)Create clones and cannibalize parts of them for the same purpose.

As you describe what you would need and what would be best the humans have some ideas, bt are unsatisfied with what they currently have for options.

There are a few other places a ha'tak might land, thus crystals if you could get a ha'tak, or the odd jaffa pyramid fortification, and its command centre.

Needless to say they do not enjoy the idea of trying to take on fortified positions designed to repel attacks or face the possibility of getting bombarded from above because they cant plan a infiltration at their leisure.

However there in a few days as some of their posing traders come back from their survey of the landing pyramids new information streams in.

Currently the Lo'taur of a goa'uld is touring said planet in preparation for her masters arrival, Lord Clegoragh, Master of the Skies and servant of Ernutet, along with his to primes, Walrag and T'jet.

From a source in her entourage i was determined that the next stop is going to be a quiet retreat where Clegoragh usually meets his Lo'taur on the ground, before deigning to land somewhere else. It is rumoured that there he does many a magic and scheme.

To the humans with you that is as clear as they can get from goa'uld slaves that in that location ciphers are likely to be held.

They also like the idea of hitting the same target in a different location. The current option is to let the Lo'taur and her Master meet, and strike the location after they leave, as it will be likely less guarded, under their assumption, or at least the guards will be on a lower alert once the brass visit of these months will have passed, whatever that should mean.
>>
>>21710195
>Lo'taurs, and literally meaning "You, human" in the Goa'uld language, are personal attendants to the Goa'uld, since the Jaffa served a strictly military function. A lo'taur is the most trusted servant of the Goa'uld, and learned many secret things about their masters. They are also valuable to have near by. If a Goa'uld host is injured beyond the symbiote's capacity to heal, they would be able to take the lo'taur as a host. Also, it is notable that some lo'taurs desire to be implanted with young Goa'uld due to their desire for power.
>>
>>21710195
Additional reports from the 'merchant's that you are able to overhear suggests that Lord Clegoragh is at large the main reason why Wadjet is being constantly defeated by the forces of Ernutet.

While the armies of Wadjet seem to be competently led once battle is joined, and seem to be somewhat more ferocious in battle than Ernutet's Jaffa, Lord Clegoragh is a master at the war in the sky and has thus far defeated every mighty ship of Wadjet, as well as ensured that Ernutet's Jaffa attack mostly worlds without the protection of celestial craft of Wadjet, while his own palaces fly over the world that is warred upon.
>>
>>21710195
The humans know their capabilities better than we do. Though it stings our pride, we must defer to them in this. Inform them that our presence, that of a Goa'uld symbiote, can be sensed by another Goa'uld. We don't want to get found out by Clegoragh. However, from our knowledge, Jaffa cannot sense us.

If necessary, however, and they can acquire the proper clothing, we can assist our 'gracious host', in masquerading as a minor Goa'uld lord if it can get us past Jaffa security.
>>
>>21710195
And now i'll leave you to suggestions and plans as i have to rush to work.
>>
>>21710275
>>21710273
...wait. Clegoragh is a major rival of Wadjet?
Inform the humans that this may be an opportunity, if their information concerning Clegoragh's location is true.

We could contact Prime, let him know of Clegoragh's location, so that an assassintation strike force of Ha'taks and Jaffa can be assembled.

If they strike against Clegoragh, and succeed, then Wadjet's domain may become more secure.

Also, the Jaffa attack could provide the distraction that the mercenaries desire.

If the assassination against Clegoragh succeeds, then Wadjet loses a major rival and Emutet a valuable adviser, making Prime's job easier.
Even if it doesn't work, it will take Clegoragh off-balance, and cause him to concentrate on internal security, possibly distracting him from the campaign against Wadjet.
And either way, the mercenaries receive a distraction in order to steal the computational device we want.

Everyone wins except Clegoragh and Emutet.
>>
>>21710195
>>21710206
You know, if we could capture that Lo'taur either before or after (after would be better) not only could we and the humans get a bunch of information but we could propose using the Lo'taur as a host. That would provide us with a body and mean that one of their precious few soldiers are no longer compromised.
>>
>>21710336
Perhaps.
But, consider that the Lo'taur will be heavily guarded; she will have knowledge of all of Clegoragh's deepest secrets.
Not only that, but once we are out of our current host, what is to stop the mercenaries from killing us and the Lo'taur once we are no longer of use to them? So long as we are in this host, we essentially hold one of their soldiers hostage.
>>
>>21710336
Considering what they know of symbionts, what makes you think they will let a goa'uld go before the are home safely?

We have not told them we are not full goa'uld, they only have a suspicion.
>>21710322
Jaffa assassination? Or Attack?
If its the second i bet you the ha'taks go into orbit and bomb the city.
No ha'taks for us.

If it's Assassination then they will claim them for Wadjet or run like idiots while the Jafffa of Clegoragh are on alert.

Again, no Ha'taks for us.
>>
>>21710378
No, this is a different planet than the one that we're targeting for an insurrection and Grand Theft Ha'tak.
>>
>>21710395
And considering what info we have, that Clegoragh will meet there with the Lotar before landing the Ha'taks, what makes you think they will land at all without him, or with him in full paranoia mode?
>>
>>21710405
As a Goa'uld, being paranoid is the norm. But so is being megalomaniacal and with delusions of grandeur.

The idea is that since the mercenaries want to hit the retreat where Clegoragh met with his lo'taur after they leave, we tell Prime of the planet that Clegoragh will be on.
He attacks Clegoragh, preferably after his Ha'tak has landed, and we wait for the Jaffa from the retreat are ordered to Clegoragh's side, leaving the retreat lightly defended.

Cant say I'm not worried about them killing us off afterwards. We just need to play up our usefulness and inventiveness. That we're the kind of Goa'uld thats really handy to have around.

So, right now, the options we have, and need to vote on, are:
A. Follow the Mercenaries' Plan; after Clegoragh and his Lo'taur leave, raid the retreat while a diversionary attack is launched.

B. Contact Prime, and try to convince him to launch an attack against Clegoragh after he leaves with his Lo'taur and lands his Ha'tak. The Mercenaries will meanwhile raid the retreat for the Goa'uld computer.

Voting for B.

Clegoragh is Ernutet's Fleet Commander for lack of a goa'uld title.

As for the brazen idea of calling on your former Jaffa host for help, well your current hosts is very derisive about it. Was it not he who had them hired to put a monkey wrench in Clegoraghs deployment timetable by taking out those Landing Pyramids? Who got the counter offer of taking them and possibly taking one or more Ha'tak's with them too, before they resupply?

And is it not you who want to get a Ha'tak? How are you going to get one if Clegoragh dies before he lands his ship on those landing pyramids? - Its not much of a bother, to her personally, since they will blow the landing pyramids and kill Clegoragh if you want it, just there are a few kinks in your murder plans that need be ironed out, so that they fit into this reality at the same time. Just a humble human soldiers opinion.

Moreover where it was not specified what method of transportation Clegoragh will be using to get to his retreat. They don't know, but considering that the Ha'tak Fleet is en route to its destination, they suspect he is going via stargate, or via some other ship in range of said retreat. - Depending on how full of himself this Clegoragh is. A Lo'taur's Sycophants is not the best character judge after all, in said soldiers humble opinion, due to the very nature of being sycophants.

Also Alkesh supported troop landings tend to be not the best performers against Ha'taks with full glider wings and Jaffa crews and cargo. Even if on Landing Pyramids, since they are noticeable.

The host suggests that you let the mercs do a recon before you embarrass yourself in front of the troops. And with that said you are again back in the viewer position because she is awake if you had not noticed.
>>
>>21715700
Possibly, but if they see the asteroid they can try to intercept it. A cloaked ship is invisible until it begins re-entry; if they see it when it's a hundred kilometers and it's moving at a hundred kilometers per second, there's not much they can do about it. If we follow up with a suitably bombastic speech to the survivors we just might be able to steal ourselves a small fleet.
>>
>>21715881
If the Al'kesh dropped out of hyperspace suitably close to the planet, the asteroid could not be intercepted in time. But I don't know how viable this plan is.
>>
>>21715759
Alright. I was under the impression that the planet that Clegoragh is visiting is different from the planet where the rebellion is supposed to be incited, and that there were already 3 Ha'taks landed there as part of a garrison.

However, reading back through your post, I see I was mistaken.

However, the idea of using an Al'Kesh to hyperspace in an asteroid close to the planet to provide an orbital bombardment should not be discounted.
>>
>>21715759
Alright, alright. Let the soldiers do some reconnaissance first.
>>
>>21715759
Despite your hosts wording and suggestion you can feel the bite in the remarks.

Alexandra already knows a scouting action will go ahead regardless of what you suggest, and that contacting the prime for this job is not viable no matter how much you wish it.

The sanctuary of Clegoragh is most likely deep in his territory or well hidden from Wadjet forces, and the Ha'taks fleet deployment is something your pet prime can't do more than hire them, else he would have done it themselves.

Without further dalliance Alexandra prepares herself for a mission, with a more gruelling physical torture, as well as more rituals, usually involving weapons and tools and ointments.

One however seems highly more important for the host, as it kneeled before a small table with small icons in various state of ruin, and starting to mumble.

As she proceeds with the prayer to theis supposedly singular yet not yet still singular deity, you break decorum by denigrating a fellow god.

Your host disregards you. Continuing with the ritual. The way it feels you would be tempted to take a bet that not even a ha'tak bombardment would make your host care at this very moment.

It seems to be halfway mechanical, and has little to do with what one would expect from a prayer. She does not desire anything. She does not feel the need to repent. In fact you can see a few memories surfacing mixing and swimming about.

There is nothing in the memories but a feeling of unavoidable dread. Dozens of faces swam over you, all in various states ranging from despair, fear, anger, serenity, surprise. With each face you feel her becoming less of a empathic being, and more of a machine that fakes being a animal.
Regret. Less and less of it.

You could sense the onset. A clause, a condition, a signal a order - it did not matter.

You could feel the motions of the weapons, of blades, of buttons and levers, of arms around bodies.

This was not a prayer for the one who prayed. This was a prayer for the ones who died already, and those who will die again.

With the prayer done, and the equipment folded and packed your host calms down abruptly does not make one movement. She stays in that position until her mind plummets in meditation.

As the session dawns you accompany the pretend merchants of the mercenaries to the planet of the platforms, once Belshwith, it is now known as Tir na nog, the promised land of Lord Clegoragh to victorious Jaffas, on the enemies of Ernutet.

There is a small tasks list Alexandra has in mind to do. For one getting close to the Lo'taur entourage to divine a more precise time frame for her meet with Clegoragh, on what you find out is called Mag Mell. Another thing would be getting closer to local movers and shakers and see about the fomenting of the revolution. Two things she is certain you could be of use.
Other things she would desire is to scout out the layout and persons of interest in the two Jaffa Barracks and the Pyramid garrison and guard, as well as transient merchants, and any other persons of interest.

As Alexandra meets with persons that have a say in the community overlooked by the imposing pyramids, you take not of the various people she meets.

Mostly teens, drunk on proving themselves and doing rash and unthoughtful out actions. Not a challenge to impress such youngsters and drive them against their masters if someone is leading the way for them. They would find some other trouble to get in, regardless of scope and magnitude, as long as it will pander their ego and self approval from peers. The meat of a mass movement, and the most in need of careful handling. No need to start them and not be able to reign them in.

The other part of the meeting is talking to people of the other strata of age. Elders, who influenced the decision of the entire populous. They are not as rash, and require just as much planning. The angle the humans seem to be working is the Promise of Clegoragh, the swarming Jaffa that will return from victorious campaign, to whom they will have to pander. You suspect the mercenaries are ensuring the Jaffa to be even more overbearing and insufferable then normal.
>Dice.
What you do suggest is the obvious theological issue that might sway even the loyal ones. Clegoragh promised this to victorious Jaffa, yet the world is of Ernutets. Jaffa of all her underlings will swarm here, at Clegoragh's say so, Clegoragh who is nothing but Ernutets attack dog and cares little what will happen afterwards, and less what the price of that will be once he has accomplished the task he has been sicked on. The world is not Clegoraghs to give, and not his to rename it.
>>
This little piece of perspective is somewhat better suited to change the views of the more traditional persons, over tea and fried huntsmeat. This meetings was only tiny probing on the subject, and allusions. But slowly and certainly, this topic will reoccur, and eventually explode. By then the mercs will be ready to strike.

Once the session is done Alexandra heads for the various places in town. Eyeing merchants in markets, and odd drinkers in taverns. She is a bit unsure what would prove more useful in the event of a rebellion. Merchants or criminals. And considering from the looks of it there is little distinction between the two, just the level to which they will sink.

There are a few trinkets in the markets that seem to be odd looking, and a few words in the tavern that jog your memory and mind a bit.

[] Suggest to come at a later date and pose as a underling of Ernutets, to awe the Merchants.

Peddling the merchants through various products from would be remedies ranging from horn powder of a glox beast to mera plant dried rot unguent right up to agricultural plant seeds and tools and various cloths and jewellery you cant find much on the various surface. It seems to be a normal market full of law abiding merchants. Alexandra laughs internally at the notion. She is willing to be to full days of control and complete privacy that at least half the merchants present are doing or have a history of doing various illegal things that are commercially relevant.

You are tempted to go for the bet, and seeing little merchants that could know how to deal various forbidden technologies let alone understand them you take it. Two days is little time and you sorely need entertainment.

To which your host points out that there are so many ways a merchant can do illegal stuff to turn a profit. From smuggling, to buying and selling stolen goods, and even skimming on taxes or facilitating others to do so - they don't have to be illegal towards the goa'uld. Illegal towards any position of authority they work under is enough. Before the revolution starts will either she or you will get two days of quiet

As it starts today she manages to talk shop with a merchant of odd medicinal plants, and upon hinting she needs special medicine and providing the necessary sample of payment and confidentiality the merchant is willing to provide a extended inventory of rather less then benedictive agents. From poisons to toxines and even a small collection of half a dozen Tacluchnatagamuntoron. All quite costly in a soon to be basing of a ha'tak fleet

The guy is selling Assassin and murder tools, very low to a bit mid level ones at that, the very lowest that require support and profitable merchantable items and not WMDs. That would put him very high the visibility ladder to very many people/Goa'uld.

Natural skin contact and ingestible toxins, of odourless and colourless complexion that are soluble, animal neurotoxines and venoms, poisonous plant extracts, and similar things a pharmacist would have. That sort of stuff. Tac's are there because he probably found them and managed to get to them without getting Zapped and found the off switch.

Hard to move it around at a time like this. We can only do so once there is lower attention to security, and the Lo'taur has left. And it would be prudent to buy something from this merchant, and then have him introduce us to someone else for a fee. You know, to become a known constant and not a unknown variable element."

Ok, back of the envelope, we need about 80 kilos of CO to ensure a lethal concentration in all areas of the ship. If we can get some airtight storage containers, fill each one with about 40 kilos of something equivalent to coal, then fit it with a small air conpressor to control the oxygen content, we can build ourselves a monoxide bomb. If we know where the ships are going to land, we can pack explosives around each container and place them where we expect the rings to appear. When the troops beam down, the bombs get beamed up, the explosives detonate and anyone in that compartment gets either shredded or poisoned. From there we need to use our hacking abilities to disable countermeasures while the gas spreads throughout the ship. If everything goes to plan, the mercs then put on their respirators, walk up to the bridge and we can capture all three.
>>
>"Then I suggest a pair of the Tacluchnatagamuntoron, perhaps some ingestible toxins that cannot be detected or counteracted by a symbiote."

"You are in a cheery mood today? Fancy some suicide? - You know we will have to test it."

As you enter the negotiations for the Tac's, she manages to get a good price on the entire set. The payment method makes the trader highly nervous, but once you seem to be looking for more and possibly long term supply he gets calmer, although he apologises for not being able to get a steady supply of Tac's. Once your interest goes to toxins that symbiotes cannot counteract he seems a bit by surprised by such a request, but he can try to find something, in a month. Something that might kill a jaffa without it knowing. Once that is done, Alexandra pushes for various chemical compounds. Acids, Alcohols, Salts. High purity, high concentrations. This is curious for the merchant but something that will keep him buy and willing to give you a little bit of leeway.

As the sun sets you get to the closest place that serves alcohol brews. In one corner two young jaffas sweaty and bruised from exercises, at another table two odd leather and coat wearing figures. At the counter a various amalgamation of rich and poor juvenile humans being loud and self-absorbed in their own little world, and near the door two old men and two women past young.

The Bar seems to be a walled of terrace supported by four slabs of treetrunks. About as think as a man. The main entrance behind you is of wooden door, if somewhat flimsy, in Alexandras opinion. Each adjacent wall has a large window, while behind the counter there seems to be a door hiding behind a wall.

Oil lamps hang from the transverse beams of wood. And from the looks of it the owner intends to build a room over the terrace turned barroom that serves as income source.

You may not look like a imposing figure, mostly due to Alexandras choice in clothing. Said clothing does not look to concealing and is loose enough to hide the odd small object on her as well as cover any scars that would indicate what she is.

With the proper coinage drinks are purchased, and if somewhat less strong and clear that what your host is used to, she does not mentally complain, just registers it. Over the course of a hour, she gets different looks from the pair of young Jaffa and that of the human pack, while the leathered and coated figures keep to themselves and the foursome near the exit get slightly more lewd amongst themselves.

As she continues to get progressively more drunk seem to become less somber while your direct links to her get much number. While her nature is inherently adverse to any squander, any of your suggestions will be as her own if it leads to a harmless blunder.

"Sure. Might as well be part of a cheap crime novel.", is your hosts dismissal to that outlandish idea.

A a bottle and a half of Valsine sweet spirits later however, without any explanation Alexandra just walks over to the table of the two figgures, with a derisive look on her face. They are having a game of chance. She has but a vague notion of how its played based on watching them on her way, while you dont really have much on the game at all.

Alexandra drops some coin to the bartender, buys another bottle of alcohol and without much introduction plonks them on the table of the players.

"I want to play."
>>
Rolled 91

You are certain there are ways more subtle to get the attention or into the mind or finding out the plots of characters that want to stay discrete for various reasons. You are certain your hosts knows a few more than you. And you are certain she does this on purpose. On alcohol and drug induced stupor no doubt.

"This is a private game. We dont play for liquors."

To which Alexandra simply swills down three mouthfuls of Valsine and plants the bottle, half empty, back on the table.

" Sorry for the manners. How much is the entrance?" And to that she just puts her coin pouch on the table. That would be your entire collective pay for the service you have done this week and the allowance for the little theatre performance you are supposed to do.

"Now, it would be best to take my offer. I can see the future lads. And if you do not I foresee a bar fight where two young Jaffa children, sons of someone might die, and which will have some very angry jaffa parents have a grudge on whoever started it. And i can predict that you do not want that kind of attention. So why dont we all become really friendly and play?"

Eventually the game continues, now with three sides, and while at the start loosing half the money, Alexandra picks up fast, and soon acquires a impressive tally of victories of bluffs and cheats, a fact to which she attributes to her still in good working order hands and due to the fact that these two are not all that attentive to their play.

So she decides to push. In less than half an hour and two bottles later, the two guys sitting across the table have less than a quarter of the total wealth that is being played on, and soon stand to loose the rest in short order. To which one has the wise idea to challenge your host of cheating. Unfortunately the same one has the temerity to make a grab for Alexandra's wrist.
>>
Rolled 18

This prompts the rather quick succession of three actions. One would be the few game tokens falling down the shirt to the elbow before being grabbed at the wrist. Two being Alexandras faking a entire move of lechery to anyone not paying close attention, by making the snuff of her wrist seem to be a overly drunk man and women getting onto the others lap. The third one you need no description, except the metallic clicking sound, coming from under the table, where Alexandra seems to be holding her balance in the players lap.

Eventually the man eases up and the game winds down heavily on interest, the two men being happy enough to draw it out as long as possible with the concession of accepting drinks on Alexandra.

As this lasts long into the night the happy foursome and the two Jaffa are gone, while the gaggle of human teens seems to decrees in numbers.

Soon she puts a bag on the table and rolls some of the dried content in a sheath of fragile fabric, lights it on fire and from which then she proceeds to inhale heavily. Making her noticeable as a non local.

Eventually the three gamers get so drunk that it is known at the table the reason for dragging the game so long. A fourth one should be coming. Business it seems. But if the fourth one should not appear they seem the two of you might provide something similar. To which the classification in Alexandras mind is finalized. Theft, Murder or Sex.
