Last Time...
Winter passed on by for another year for the tiny village of Man. The festival was held with gifts being given and food being shared through the alliances of Men, Dwarves, Elves, and the Goblins.

The village had grown a bit now, the population growing a bit with a few young boys and girls going into adulthood along with births from around the village.

The school of Magics has also gotten a little better now that spring has come around, the walls are a bit sturdier and the books have less of a chance of being ruined by the roof going down and covering them with snow.

ALLIES:
Slarens: A younger black dragon, has 4 dragon chicks.
Elves to the north: Elves that have been captured by grey skinned elves as slaves.
Swamp Goblins: Enslaved by the grey skinned elves and the Mountain Goblins. They are promising they're loyalty
Dwarves: Don't like goblins, in general, is enemies of a Red Dragon in the mountains.

Generally all the races can get along with a few petty things between individuals. But sense the festival, they seems to have a much better sense of 'unity' between them all.

Enemies:
Red Dragoness: (Captured) Had been worshiped by Drow and Mountain goblins.
Mountain goblins: (very broken up) Worships the dragoness
Drow: (Main location unknown) Worshipers of the red dragoness. Slavers.

Important Locations:
Swamps (Largely unexplored): Home of the Goblin bros. Also location of large odd magic things.

Desert to the South: River can only go so far. Other than that. Unexplored!
Mountains: Former lair of The Red Dragoness that has been bound in a mine. Home of the Dwarves.
Plains: Where the Magrite mines and other herd animals tended to by the Goblins and such are. Along with our main trade route with the Dwarves.

TECH:
TECH:
Magrite: Weapons and tools made from this metal are easily made from the mines in the plains. The limited amount now had have been used for basic heating. Blue Magrite produces a shock. Red Magrite produces heat, sometimes lighting fires.

Fire magic: Fren mostly (Limited to small fires)
Water magic: Bren and Waterstone. (Waterstone can lift the river while Bren could only life a bit of it)
Healing: Basic healing.
Moon Magic: Unknown limit. (Full moons Asrid can sometimes call a moon cat)
Draconic Magic: Slarens only, has not shown all he can do. Unknown if he's willing to teach.
Magical Tomes: (Unopened)
Draconian Control Spell: Untested
Odd Magical Cylanders: Magical 'radiation' that caused magical effects on the goblins. One growing.
Mogrim: Forest shaman/hermit/village crazy guy. Can help things to grow. Can turn into a bear. Can somehow do all the drugs and not get sick.
Snow Magic: Able to freeze some times. Bren and the youngest apprentice uses this.
Fren: Has learned a bit of her magic with Purple Flames that do not burn.
Wind Magic: Minor blowing of winds. Used by Asrid.
Summoning Book: Unused magic book. Found by the young boy.
Rune Page: A page written from Bren from a bout of magical indulgance from an experiment with magical stones.
Magic Stone: Two Stones when pumped with magic will turn into large wolves out of a certain type. (Fren has a Firey wolf. Bren has one made out of water.) Only known how to obtain would be from the ice 'corpses' of the ice wolves.

Hmm. Well I think I can do a bit of Basics.

The village started nearly a year ago from last spring. Moving from their original spot from the plains into the forest closer to the river. There they had found they could talk to the 'river spirit' who then the Leader of the village, Shaman Waterstone, had become in love with. So as it all went on, magic was slowly learned by him from the spirit. Eventually he took on his Apprentice Riverheart.

Along with that the two met the first elves from the northern bit of the forest. Trade and help from both side quickly came to pass along with a sort of unspoken truce/alliance/thingy.

Soon then after a trip across the plains led them to the mountains. The Dwarves were than met along with a new enemy in the Mountain Goblins. So a while after, they became friends with the leader of the dwarf town and learned different things along with traded for pots and things along with food for different knowledge.

The swamps to the south were always a mystery to the village. And when something was making a lot of bellows from it. A group was sent to check it out. There they met one of the greatest allies to the village. The younger, and injured, Slarens. A Black Dragon who had struck a deal of healing and peace with Riverheart and Waterstone. They heal him, he doesn't eventually go nuts and kill them all along with some magical training. After healing, Slarens simply didn't want to leave and he saw the village as friends and allies. Riverheart being one of the closest and eventually put nearly all his trust in him.

After a bit of Peace and such. More Apprentices were found and men who had formed the 'guard' of the village went to train with the dwarves along with working with them to protect themselves from the

Then as shit went down, Slarens healed and all flew off for a while to a meeting of Black Dragons, along with bringing Riverheart with him as his friend. They left for a while and the elf village got attacked. When they came back, the village was basically at war with a bunch of Goblins and Dark elves.

Eventually the Village learns both groups (Dark elf and Mountain Goblins) were serving a Black Dragoness. They're job was to enslave the elves of the forest along with the men. The village didn't like this and decided to go where the elves were being enslaved.

The mines they were being forced to work in were full of Magrite. A magical metal that did different things when they had a magical charge. Blue Magrite was the first type they found that gave a shock when they had a charge.

In the mines they not only found different people of the Elf village. They also found Goblins from the swamp. Seems the cousins didn't like each other and the Mountain goblins enslaved them, like pricks,

So after doing a few battles and freeing the elves, and having the Swamp goblins become good buds with the village. (Even offering themselves as servants for a hundred Winters but were turned down.)

When Slarens and his friend Riverheart got back from the meeting with a few odd coffers of acid with eggs in them, and a few magical tomes. They were in the thick of it all. Eventually one battle went REALLY shitty even with the Dwarf's help.

The Red Dragoness didn't like the village and other people taking 'her' mines and decided to kill the small squads herself. But eventually was driven back with the help of the other apprentices and being Spear headed by Riverheart on the back of Slarens. (Yeah Slarens let Riverheart ride him like a badass.)
This also was the mine they discovered the Red Magrite, that created heat and sometimes even fire when charged.

The red dragoness was fought back and they took the mines back. Eventually they went to the mines closest to the mountains of the Dwarves and the Dragoness's lair. A major battle was fought, the dragoness got her ass kicked by Slarens, Riverheart, and a Dwarf who flew through the air out of a catapult.

Eventually, the Dragoness was locked up in one of the mines. The Dark Elves and Mountain goblins got their ass outta dodge. The alliance got a little more stable with this threat gone and looted the liar of the dragoness.

There they found two more maps. One of the mountain region. One of a desert to the south. Along with a few rusty bits of armor, a few piles of Gold and stuff. (Most being 'watched' by Slarens) And a few chests of Magic stuff.

With that stuff they found horses, sheep, and weird rock lizards (They ate STONE). After that, the Dwarves got their stuff out of the lair. After that, the Goblins fixed their village up the south and still were pretty much indebted to the humans.

As stuff went on, Slarens showed he brought back four dragon eggs. All black dragons he had. When the time of taking care of them with the looming threat of a foreign elf from a long way away who hated Chromatic dragons. One egg was given to the goblins to raise, they saw Slarens as a 'king of the swamp', one was hidden by Riverheart for it's safety, and the final two Slarens kept close.

Well as we all know...Elves can be fucking dicks. So the elf lord who thought himself a badass for the 'metallic' dragons found the hidden Dragon chick. The female apprentice intercepted him and caught him saving the baby with the help of the goblin village nearby.

He was thrown out of the village, but not killed only unable to come into the village of men or the swamp until further notice. Along with that. The goblins were let to keep their little Dragon chick as a little 'idol'. Slarens raised his own two. And The female apprentice, Asrid, was given the task of raising the chick she saved.

Soon after that. A group of adventurers left to the East through the forests. Riverheart, an Elf chick who was smitten with Riverheart, an old dwarf, and a sneaky Goblin. None of them have returned yet even. So they're even local is unknown.

Time passed, more trade, more hunting, and a bit of tech went on adopting a new Apprentice. Even forming a small little hut for a School for the Magic. A boy also found a magical statue of a Panther by named Guenhwvar (yes, it is what you think it is) along with a book on Summoning magic during the Winter months.

Winter passed with a few things going on. The goblins found weird cyliders that mutated a few of them. Along with a few magical tablets that told of Draconians. During this also the village was attacked by magic wolves that frozen when killed. When bits of magical experiments happened they found magical rocks in them. After some of the apprentices used magic on the stones they became strange wolves of magical elements.

Soon the winter passed and a huge ass party went on in the village with everyone coming over for it. The day was even marked as the final day of Winter, and a day of togetherness for all allies of the village. So the Elves, Goblins, Dwarves, and Humans all had a huge ass party and ate a whole bunch of stuff.

After that they also discovered a mix of Magrite that made if purple and when you wore a helm of it. It let you see strange auras.

With the limited amount of Magrite left the men think they had themselves a good idea. They had seen a few dwarves with things on their heads called 'goggles'. With a bit of work and a few leather strips the Blacksmith had created a few pairs of them.

A bit of playing with them showed a few were able to see through a couple of people with not much aura and pick out Waterstone or another apprentice (Even through walls) but for the average villager. They didn't have enough of an outline to really stand out.

Waterstone, being the crazy wise man he is, decides he can't have all these people running around the village asking for random spells to be cast.

Mostly it's a group of Hunters who hunt around the reaches to watch the outskirts while hunting. The hunters not hunting are on the Walls which are a very thick grove of magic trees which they chill in with bows.

Along with them they have a large group of guards that are more like fighters that were trained in the basics of fighting by the Dwarves. Along with that, we have a Black Dragon who's the village's greatest ally sense he kinda lives there. Along with the shamans who live in the village who can shoot fire, use water out of the nearby river, and heal and use the moon to cut shit.

A small group of men is sent down the river again. Most of them hunters but they bring along a few guards aswell. As they go down they explore a bit and stick to the river. In the distance across the river they see rocky outcroppings, another direction they see more rocks jutting from the earth on the side of the river they are on.

But to the south...it seems...something is moving and kicking up a large amount of dust. Strange...seems to be moving to the southwest.

The dwarves are sent for by a man on one of the horses they owned. The dwarves are more interested in some kind of profit but sense the humans are their friends, they'll start a caravan for desert explorin soon.

As the man start to walk closer to the dust cloud they hear something rumbling...they look around wondering until from inside the canyon someone sees something. It seemed to be a large group of...something. They couldn't see what they were, but the hearing and smell hit them first. The sickening stench nearly made one man vomit and caused the rest to run toward the river for better bearings to find the dust cloud again.

As the men try to set up the tents they had forgotten at the canyon while running from the stench they hear...howling in the night as it falls. The men look around and over the dunes they see a large wolf, larger than even the snow wolves from the winter passed. But the beast riding it made the men nervous.

What ever it was was tall and bulky waving something shiny toward them! It ran toward them on the back of the grand wolf holding a torch in one hand showing shining armor on it's back.

When the dwarves get to the village they demand a little...'payment' for helping. In exchange they are given a set of Magrite goggles and a Magrite spear for good measure. They seem a little bitchy about not learning more about the purple magrite, but quickly drop it as the small caravan of about 15 dwarves go down the river to the desert.

As it gets closer the men quickly collect their wits and form a trained formation with the spears ready along with the hunters ready to pepper the thing full of arrows like a hedgehog.

But as it comes closer they notice something...it's not running toward them! It's running away from something else. A large creature comes barreling behind it and through the sand dune, it is a giant ass lizard! The creature on the back of the wolf is thrown off and behind the men and the wolf in front of all of them turning to face the large lizard.

The creature landed not far from the fire of the camp. It had dull green skin and wore strange armor of some kind of yellow metal like the sand in the day time. The beast got up again and looked at the men and their arms and pointed to the creature coming toward him along with his wolf. Clear now...the strange Large green skinned creature was not their enemy. But the creature chasing it was the common threat.

As the carvan was about to leave something happens with Waterstone, using his strange magical powers along with his boat he figures something out...why not just make more things float like that?

He works with the broken wheel a dwarf left and water do develop a rudder system with a flat stick, and a strange spinning wheel with the flattened sticks at an angle that when spun with magic, it would propel the boat!

L; time to get in contact with the forest spirit. Luckily i found some shrooms who can make awesome noises, some dancing trees(thats right their REAL i swear), and some hot chicks who I met underground(long story). We shall DANCE and the shrooms will provide the base. Also I asked the shrooms about the herbs they say if i put some on some meat and drink some special broth something diferent will happen i will test this while dancing.

YES the dicegods approve MUWAHAHAH. On a side note you know way back when i said i knew some ways for differents armor in exchange for an ax? I finally got around to it it was simple really only problem was the damn bird who never shut up not even once due to me being an captive audiance. This is what i happand i sat there and sharpened my ax staring at the trees. They bickered and called out names but i sat there and sharpened asking them about what they mentioned before. Eventually they broke down. I got a list of how to craft leaves, vines, and reeds into armor. They only had a rough idea as their view of the world is much different then our own. BUT it is enough for the smiths to figure out. I still got some 'convincing' to do but its a start.

A man bashes the sword against his leather sheild, others soon follow suit shouting and roaring at the creature while staying in place. The green skinned 'man' looked at them in wonder then started to beat his own chest and gave a thunderous roar as the creature saw the larger group, gave a quick hiss, then ran back the other way and a huge splash was heard and roaring from the other side of the large river.

The green man roars while smiling and gave his chest another bang. He gives a fierce smile and looks at the group of man with his fierce looking ax at his side and he whistled causing the wolf to come back and rub against him.

The creature soon finds the men celebrating and grins quickly finding himself a guest among them. The food and drink is quickly shown to be a like of the stranger and he even offers some odd drink from a pouch from his pack. They pass it around and they find it akin to the drink the dwarf brought to the festival.

As they drink and eat the wolf is given full seat next to the stranger who doesn't speak. Only gestures, either he knows not the language they speak. Or cannot speak except for Grunts.

As Mogrim went out that day. A few of the young men of the village followed him, even though it was against the unwritten rules to mess with Mogrim. But as the man ate the shrooms something happened around his grove, the trees uprooted themselves from their branches and swayed with him. Sometimes, even from under the roots came odd looking grey creatures seeming to transform into woman around him and played with him and casting lights around. The village is told of this and it makes some nervous...who were these strange folk living unseen by their village?

The dwarves arrive the next morning and see the strange green skinned creature who quickly goes to his weapon to defend himself. The men from the explorer camp freak out and tell him through gestures they's alright and everything is cool.

The dwarves when they get their know what he is...and that doesn't make anyone happen. Seems the dwarves know him as an 'Orc'. War bound creatures with their own tongue and gods. Most of the time in the time known as 'War of Lances' they were enemies of dwarves and elf. But now centuries passing, the old enemies have put aside their differences it seems now.

The orc's weapon and armor are examined by the dwarves after they convince him with plenty more of thier own weapons and armor to look at and study. The dwarves that come across the blade give a whiff and are almost sick it seems. Seems what ever he killed last should have either been rotting or he dipped it into something very foul.

The school now has a much better way to work. Seems now that the elves have heard from it from Waterstone acting like a kid with a new toy the elves also want to learn more of the magic. A few young elf men and woman are sent to the village to work with the humans, along with bringing along hat tricks natural to them for study.

alchemy is needed for the armors a mentioned stuff has to be treated.

I talked to the trees this week about Fae. They pointed me in the direction of fae who "is one of us". What i encountered was a dryad as she called herself. First thing she did when she saw me was run and SLAP. My necked actually popped it was so powerful and i had thought my sister knew how to slap. The Dryad than started screaming at me about i am mistreating the trees and how despite being so "enlightened" i should know better. I then yelled right back at her about the trees being assholes. The shouting match when on for a quite a while(fucking asshole trees poisoned her). Its gonna take a while to go anywhere at this rate.

The smallest and swiftest scout is sent in with a short sword and his bow to sneak through the shadows. As he sneaks through and out of sight, the group stays steady to wait for his return and any possible enemy around. it is TIME.

Got into another argument with the dryad over trees. Her claiming how beautiful they are me saying their assholes. This has been happening everyday for two weeks now. This time when i wondered through the forest i saw such a beautiful woman i actually became blind she was even wearing clothing. After bumping around a bit i finally asked the trees for directions. They whispered to me and their voiced guided me as i recognized them more the closer i was to home i knew. when i got back to my grove i got stuck waiting a listening. This time i was able to hear above the ruckus of the forest and had gotten into a conversation with some dirt. After a while the silenced happened i encountered the robed figure. We played chess again it was a draw. For a tiebreaker match we made a bet. Luckily i won and got my eyes fixed. Next week i am going to back this time with my eyes covered.
