Welcome welcome one and all to the next episode of Company Civ, where we follow our intrepid CEO Archibold and his band of misfits as they attempt to rule the corporate elite of the city of Silverdale.

Last time in the first thread the company hit the ground running, inventing a new kind of magical watch, nearly getting eaten by their puppy, experiencing fancy living in their new car, and opening business relations with elemental royalty.

What will they do today?

I'll wait for a few people to say something before I post the first turn report.
>>
Oh, and the previous thread can be found here:

Alright, I'm here.
Lets get this going!

You know, that OP picture is so unremarkable and gray in thumbnail size that I always keep missing it. I've been checking Catalog for past 2 hours and somehow missed this.

Not sure about other /tg/-ers but I stopped going to 4chan /tg/ page long time ago and just use the Catalog.

Something I wanted to ask previous thread

>>21981729
>Fish out of Water: You now have a stall in the upper area of the city, selling your good to the local lords (20 Tarllings per turn, occupies 4 employees)
> occupies 4 employees
When did this happen? Why do we need 4 people to man one stall, especially since they don't seem to increase revenue. Also, we've had 20$ for two turns now. Does that mean we reached the cap already?
If so, that sucks.

move 2 employees to advertise in High city where our stall is.
>>
>>21981768
Yes it does, and someone said put more men on the stall. It only required two for the maximum output. Now you just have several employees swarming around. Also yes, you have reached the max.
>>
>>21981742
Okay, I suggest these

>E) Business venture (Can be either legal or illegal. Fill in what you would like to do.)
Lets check out the thing with those rail-roads and see if we can get a contract there. If we manage to sell our Engine, we will have a huge, long-lasting contract.

>G) Other.
Lets develop a line of highly luxurious watches for the rich people. Gold, gems, etc. We need to diversify our main product
>>
>>21981742
Let's do the special offer and research AC again.
>>
>>21981790
Dang, I can't believe our small shop in the Docks is doing better than the stall in High Market.
Anyway, move those two workers to advertisement.

>>21981742
>Possible Purchases:
>100 Tarllings: Employee Lounge upgrade, will help your employees relax and increase moral
We already have this upgrade... or is this a double upgrade?
>>
>>21981795
I have a ruling on the G, you can not simply get large amounts of gold and gems to make products out of. Also the tech behind it is simplistic, just replace the brass of the casings with gold. You are still a small company, to do this you'll need a fair amount of money to stockpile any amount of inventory (100 Tarllings minimum). It his however possible to do it on a commission basis, in which you have men give you money enough to create a tailored product for them.
>>
>>21981817
it's will improve the lounge again for another boost. Each is an immediate +5 to moral plus a 5% to moral increases when they occur.
>>
>>21981806
>Let's do the special offer

You know, considering the special offer. If we talk with Richard... then what? I'm at a loss how we will benefit from cannery business.

>>21981842
I see.
So we could make custom watches, right? We don't need to spend an action on this, yes? So lets just put that into our advertisement, maybe some people will show up.

If not, then I change my vote to >>21981806 AC research
>>
>>21981875
Changing new advertisement and attempted putting out the word for it will count as a business venture.
>>
>>21981916
It will? Oh well, lets hold that off for now then.
>>
>>21981969
You gotta present me with your two options then vote on it. Right now I'm not sure what you guys want.
>>
>>21982006
AC research is a give.

I want to do another business venture since we have no money. This time with the sailor again.
Secretary wants to do the special event.

Just to get things going, I'll change my vote to special event.

Question, how many people can set on handyman job till we stop getting more money out of it?
>>

>>21982049

>>
>>21982060
>You have no way of knowing that, the only way to find out it experimentation.

I guess the same thing with advertising, right?
Okay, lets move on to the next round.
>>
>>21982049
>Also, fun stuff yesterday was imagining, researching and building magic tech stuff. From toys to machinery

Yeah, I hope we get more ideas.
I've been thinking about making guns. There is a ban on gun powder and explosions but we still can make the bullet fly at high velocity by different means. Like binding the gun to the plane of lightning, using that electricity to power the magnets which push the bullets at high velocity. The early guns will have to recharge after a shot, which can take up to 30 seconds but with improvements we could reduce that time. Or we could load cartridges with elemental force which get released on a trigger and will push the bullet forward (essentially modern bullets).

The authorities wont be happy probably
>>
After several failed attempts and more than a few employees passing out due to lack of oxygen Eric finally struck on an idea of how to make an air "exchange" system work. Using two portals instead of one and a small pump air could be forced through one and brought in through the other without getting the irregular mixtures that could cause decompression or oxygen starvation. He and Archibold were found dancing around the lab, their new diving helmet held high above their heads, both giddy from lack of oxygen in the room. Luckily Samantha knew enough to erase the portal rings.

==========

Archibold and Yaril head down in the new car to the office of Richard. At the end of the canneries he smell of fish hangs low in the air, and enormous whale carcasses litter the shore, where processing crews scurry around to extract precious blood oil from their glands. The secretary ushers you up to Richard office.

Once inside you see him facing away from the door, starring out through a window towards the bodies of whales.

"I've heard of you lot," he says, still not turning around, "Men who are getting far too big for their britches. A car? Fancy clothing? You think these things can fool me into see what you really are? Con artists and snake oil merchants, peddling your wares to the stupid and the decrepit." Turning around, Richard marched forward. He looked much more tired than he had in the picture out front, his eyes sunk deeply into his skull.

"I think I may have use for you. I need to get to the bottom of the bay, and no man in the magi college will talk to the son of a fisherman, and none from the Guild of Engineers can figure out how to make this work. You, a boy scorned by both, might be able to help me. If you do," he paused, hand on brow, "I'll see that you're handsomely rewarded."
>>
>>21982198
How do you respond to Richard?
>>
>>21982208
Oh dang, he wants submarines?

Wait, that's too big of project for now, but we can develop scuba gear especially if we apply our newest AC research.

We are businessmen so lets first get it straight HOW and how much we will be rewarded. And what exactly he wants us to do and in what timeframe. Work out a solid contract before we commit to anything.

But generally, we agree. Though we wont be sending our own men, we will get him scuba gear.
>>
submarines no scuba suits yes.
>>
>>21982261
"Wait, what? You're already come up with a system that can work? 'Scuba gear'," he tests the word, "Yes, yes, maybe this can truly work." The man paces back and forth behind his desk, hand pressed against his forehead.

"You understand though, we can't send our own people down there. Way too much of a risk," said Archibold, walking forward, in front of his Richard wheeled around to face them.

"I can't send my employees! Don't you see, it'll have to be your men or nothing. I won't trust this to some hired out street rats, your men have the experience with the system, and the knowhow if something goes wrong. If anything knew I was tryi--" he stopped mid sentence, and looked back down to his desk.

"Five hundred Tarllings if your are successful in getting for me what I want." His hands shook as he held onto his papers, fingers white he gripped them so hard.

"And what do you want?"

"Not yet, I will tell you when the time comes."

700 taels. If he is a businessman he must be offering less than he is willing to actually pay. We could spin this as putting our men in highly dangerous situation and we need to be rewarded better.

Also 200 in advance and we'll set to work right away.

So guys, elemental combustion engines.

It's a cylindrical container, and it must be incredibly durable. We're talking diamond stronk, with some more diamond stronk enchantments. Anyways, at one end is a portal to the elemental plane of air, at the other end is one to the plane of fire. In the middle of this cylinder is an enchanted object, suspended in the exact center. This object will have to be basically indestructible. It's job is to attract the essences of Fire and Air from the planes and draw them towards the object.

The next step is to place a limited antimagic enchantment on the cylinder. This antimagic field must be extremely specific in it's tuning, just powerful enough to make the portals stutter rapidly.

The point is that the two portals will spew forth their elemental junk every time the portal stutters. The resulting explosions made from high oxygen content and high heat will be more than enough to fire some pistons and shit.

The ignition mechanism is a simple dial that will tune up the power of the antimagic field, closing the portals completely.
Also, we need to start putting enchantments on all our shit, so that if someone tries to reverse engineer it'll just fall to pieces/deactivate
>>
>>21982415
Oh that's great. These will be our next steps in developing our engine.

And I agree on reverse-engineering bit
>>
>>21982391
"We'll take those five hundred, but we would like a cut of what ever profits you make from selling what you recover," said Yaril, stepping forward. His cloven hooves clicked on the wooden floor of the office. His suit had been specifically tailored to fit a satyr.

"Sell? No no no, you misunderstand me. What I am getting is not for selling... though I see you are not satisfied with my offer," he rummaged within his desk, searching from something. Eventually he withdrew a small strongbox and opened it with a key from a round his neck. Inside he counted out two Drabs (a drab is a small mithril bar worth 100 Tarllings) and tossed it across the room to Archibald.

"I raise my offer to six hundred and fifty Tarllings. If you recover what I want you shall receive the other four hundred and fifty when I have my goods in hand." he stood up straighter once more, his hand extended to shake Archibold's.

Okay, lets accept this! Seems awesome.

Also, instead of simply selling the Mythril can we use it in research?
>>
>>21982555
We can use the mithril to make the container for our engine!
>>
>>21982555
You don't need to sell the mithril, it's a type of coinage. Here is how it goes.

A Hook is 1/100th of a Tarrling and is a small copper disk with a square hole in the center. In a ring around it the four ruling body's of Silverdale's seals are embossed.

A chint is 1/10th of a Tarlling and is a small silver cube, each side carved with the seal of a different district of Silverdale (High Top, Midtown, The Docks, Market Ring, The Low Markets, and The Undercity).

A Tarlling is mostly what you have been dealing with, and has the face of the baron embossed on the side, it is made of gold.

A drab is a small mithril bar with the seal of the city carved into it (it's abose the side of a pinky finger)

Above drabs dealings are mostly done in elemental crystals, each worth varying amounts depending on their size and of which royal house they originate from.
>>
>>21982510
Sure, lets accept.

So, how should the suit be designed? How independant should it be? Or more like an aqualung sort of thing?

Also, we need to create sustainable energy crystals.

I imagine that if we could find a way to trap life essence into a small crystal, we would have ourselves a powerful little crystal battery to power our little portals to other planes.

So here is what we do. We do some research into mysticism, how the soul&life energy work, how to tap into these things.

We suck the souls/life energy out of some easily to breed things, like rabbits. We place this soul/life energy into a container. We enchant things to siphon off the energy slowly so that we can have sustained power batteries that will last for a long while.

Lets try to get some of our trademarked knowledge in these suits. We have the watch with no space requiring elemental portals for air supply, and some engine which could help give propulsion to the suit by pumping nearby water and acting as a jet.
>>
>>21982719
Don't use the elemental combustion engine in water, it'll get very hot, very quick.

For water propulsion, a gyroscope placed on a backpack on the suit will maintain an upwards facing direction. A one way portal will be mounted on this gyroscope, with the exit portal on the backpack. With all the pressure of being down below, the water will be forced into the upwards facing portal, and shot out the back of the suit.

Archibold and the rest of his engineering crew head out to the bay to test their new diving suit. They had made several improvements including a system of propulsion using a small mortal to the elemental plane of water. They lower on of their more unfortunate assistants into the water wearing the large metal suit. The thing looks like it's been bolted together with what ever scrap they could find, and is covered in sigils to keep the magic working.

After a long afternoon of flapping and paddling around the bay they finally think the suit has gone through enough field tests to be presented to Richard. From inside the water their assistant gives a thumbs up using the oversized metal gloves, the signal to be pulled back onto the docks.

Just as he is being hosted back a large tentacle comes with him, trying to grab onto the boot. Luckily Eric was just able to get him onto shore before that. Archibold knew magi college dumps their run off into the bay, maybe constant high magical garbage hadn't done the creatures there good.
>>
>>21983150
===========

"Oi, Archy." Eric sat at his work station, set of tools pulling apart one of the self winding clock work engines.

"I told you not to call me that Eric, but what?" said Archbold, where he stood, redrawing one of the summoning circles on the dive suit.

"Well, I was havin' a think. How 'bout we make it so when someone tries to pull apart our tech it falls apart. Ya know, have some kind of rust rune on there or something that triggers. Make it so others can't figure out how it works." Archibold considered this for a moment, and in the way he did when he was struck with an idea, scurried over to his work bench and began to draw up the runes for a runt spell. Eric came over to look over his shoulder.

"Ya know it might be easier if ya just taught me how to so a bit of the magic stuff." Archibold paused, his pen halfway through drawing a wizard's knot. Well, he had never considered teaching another, and he was pretty sure the college forbade it. Though he had never followed their rules anyway, beckoning Eric to watch he began to show him how to write runes.

~Eric gained a level! Now is also level 1 runesmith in addition to engineer~

I'm sure there are more pressing matters, like defending the suit from Cthulhu, but maybe we could magically enhance Pancho so that he can go underwater and help the crew.

Guys, anyone thinks that we can unlock a new jobtype now that we have diving suit?
Since we're at the docks, we could have good contractor jobs for fixing ships hulls and maybe other jobs involving uderwater.

At worst, we could apply the suit principles to other type of machinery.

>>
So guys, which will it be? Go ahead with Richard? Or investigate the bay to see what that tentacle was?
>>
>>21983468
Alright, lets investigate the tentacle. We don't want to be unprepared and lose our men.
>>
Archibold and crew again head out to the bay, but this time with trying to find out what that tentacle was in mind. On each palm of the suit a small portal to the elemental plane of fire has been placed. With these the palms are able to fire jets of boiling water in what every direction they are pointed, once activated.

During the dive they explore up and down the docks near the ships, but do not find any sign of what ever that creature with the tentacle was. Upon going back to the point they had first encountered it the man in the suit sees something. Attached to the docks, near the sewers, strange enormous whelks have adhered themselves to the wall. Each more then twenty feet across they have waving tentacles extended outwards. Even as he watches a fish swims into one of the tentacles, and is drawn towards the stationary mouth.

As long as they are careful they shouldn't be much danger of getting caught in the tentacles.

==============

The development for building sized climate control has hit a road block, Archibold is unable to figure out how to have it work over such a large area without creating hot and cold spots. (another research will be required to complete).

>Marketing: A man constantly watches the eb and flow of consumerism, who is purchasing what, and more importantly, why. (1 employee, small boost to business ventures)

Does research job have different tiers of boost like Marketing does? ie: small boos, boost, big boost?
And what is the highest tier that we can get? And how many people we should put on that to get it?
>>
>>21983610
No, they are not powerful enough to manifest flame, however research could possibly be done to make them do such. It sure is a good thing you have an alliance with a royal house of the elemental plane of fire, he might be able to help you out with such things...
>>
>>21983649
Small
[blank] (or normal boost)
Big
Huge
Enormous

I can't tell you how many people are needed, you gotta find that out through experimentation.
>>
>>21983649
Seconding this.

And we really need to research sustainable energy in the form of souls. If we can modify and bind a soul to something like say, a suit of armor, then we have an instant golem.
>>
>>21983602
+1 On finishing Richard's job and finishing AC tech
>>
>>21983688
Before we try something like that, we should be informed if it is a taboo to use souls (even animal) for magic and other purposes.

>>21983678
Alright. Lets put 2 more employees into Marketing
>>
>>21983661
Time to research those flamethrowers. Talk to the fire elemental. Then work on the scuba suits to make pimping power armor/diving gear.
>>
>>21983706
But even if it is Taboo, why should people have to know about it?

Just outsource the more illegal parts of soul siphoning to some underground types. We could tout the soul crystals powering said golems as unstable, possibly even have them explode when tampered with. Or maybe we would only sell to those underground types, providing them with all the mindless servants they could ever require (For a price, of course)
>>
>>21983706
Necromancy and anything pertaining to soul binding has been illegal since the sunset war seventy five years ago.
>>
Just realized, with some research and careful application of magic we could develop portable waterjet tools capable of cutting through steel.

>>21983735
It just seems too much risk when we could get sustainable energy from the planes.
>>
>>21983772
>>21983735

Nah.... I'm not comfortable with that. Why take such big risks? Besides, I'm sure someone could detect that even if we put wards on tampering.
Some personal equipment for our own use? Sure. But something that we will be selling to people? Too much risk.
>>
>>21983731
I had forgotten about the snarky fire elemental, call him up and see if he has something to say about using his kin as tools

Archibold and Eric lock themselves together within the workshop, for the fourth time this month. The two of them are determined to get the air conditioning system working at any costs. Their first target was their own shop, and while in a way it has worked, the front room requires one to wear a rather wooly coat to stand it in comfortably now.

After days of testing they finally manage it, instead of using singular large portals they have creates meshes of smaller ones to more evenly space out the cold and hot, using removable wizard nots to turn off and on the portals.

~The shop is now more comfortable, maybe if someone important comes in they'll notice. Also gained a new item! Air Conditioning Desings!~
>>
>>21983811
We are already magicteching, if it is just taboo and not illegal, we could be branding ourselves as the guys who go all in all the time
>>
In the early hours of the morning the crew stands on a small boat loaned to them by Richard. Their orders had been simple, go out three hundred feet from shore, early enough in the morning so the blood fog coming off of the whale yards would still be thick in the air. A few hundred feet down would be a sunken vessel, and in the captains quarters a large metal box covered in sigils. They were to retrieve it... and under no circumstances open in.

"We're gonna open it up, aren't we?" asked Eric, doing some final adjustments on the suit.

"...I don't know, I'm still thinking about it." responded Archibold from his perch, looking over the rails into the depths below.

Their engineer was down for over twenty minutes, and some of them were afraid the suit might have failed, but eventually came back up, box under one arm. It was made of a strange metal, dark as obsidian, but covered in marking that looked like scars.

It is utterly illegal >>21983772

And with enough marketing, PR and good products we can remove the magitech stigma.
Also, delving in that would make us obviously evil. Do you think our employees would accept that?

Yes, it will probably be good for a short-term gain but for a business that is planning on expanding and being around for many years to come it is a bad practice. At some point we will step on wrong toes and they will dig to find dirt, any dirt, on our company.
>>
>>21983811

We are a business.

We can do bad, yes, but we can also do good.
And we can profit from both.

Make some necromancy soul bound golems, sell them to some disgruntled types for loadsadosh. Make a portable dispelling thingamajig that will deactivate the golems, sell it to the guards for loadsadosh.

They way you make money is by selling someone something to cause a problem, and then selling your services to fix said problem.

>We can do bad, yes, but we can also do good.

What you just explained has nothing "good" in it. It is plain evil.
>>
>>21983959

We just gave the guards a powerful weapon that we KNOW will work against undead constructs powered by soul gems. We'll obviously make the thingamajig we sell them actually WORK on real things, and perhaps we make the golems we sell the the underground boys defective in some way. The point is, the easiest way to make money in a war is supply both armies.

You deliver the strange box to Richard, he seems alms tin awe of it, and forces the bag of coinage into your hand before scurrying away back into his tower.

Lights have been installed out in the street, and no even late into the night the front of your shop stays lit and free of hooligans. No longer will you have to scrape off the combined might of vomit, urine, and graffiti from your store front.

============

After going out into the docks and speaking with the various captains it seems a problem has gripped the local ships. Under the water the same whelks you encountered before have been attaching themselves not to the side of the capitol but to the hulls of the larger boats instead. They need someone to go down there and peel it off, and seem willing to pay large amounts of money for anyone willing to do so.

Or I can jump in now. MagiTech toys are always fun, but that's the main business venture we've got. Let's go talk to some military men and women and try and procure something of a job from them. Maybe magitech weaponry?
>>
Think about it.
They toys we can put a glamour or something on, the kids will want to buy them, and it'll get the parents comfortable with the idea of magi tech.

It'll be a long process, endearing the people to Magi-Tech, so why not go ahead and start?
>>
>>21984798
Hmm...Well I know what I want in the future.

I'll go with Captains.
>>
>>21984821
sure, toys are great

but lets do it after the special events
>>
>>21984812
Sure, go right ahead good sir Fish God.
>>
>>21984883
I have a feeling this will be quite interesting. From reading the first thread, this feels almost steampunk so far. Cars are for nobility/wealthy, high magic world, and lots of trading. Would I be correct on that?
>>
>>21984883
The it's Toys good sir. I'll change it to that.

I wonder if we could make tiny magitech robots that could explode...
>>
>>21984906
Not yet. Make everyone like Magi-Tech before we weaponize it. Or at least before we SELL the weaponized versions.

Archibold and Yaril go out to Mousy's apartment, she had been staying in one of the cheap buildings on the east end of the docks. They were not sure what they would find there, and hopefully she had simply been ill for a few days.

They asked around the neighborhood and found that one of the neighbors had last seen her leaving for work early in the morning five days previous, she had never gotten into work that morning.

The two of them go back to investigate her apartment, and find that the door has been left open and the lock broken. It's not clear whether this had been done before or after she had been kidnapped, the place was torn apart, with the things strewn everywhere. Yaril notices something.

"Look," he said, pointing at a pile of jewelry on the floor, "thieves don't leave such things. Something else happened here." Upon further inspection a note is found on the table in the main room. It reads.

"Cold iron, cold iron.
Oh what shall I see?
Cold iron, cold iron.
What will be done to me?

Cold iron, cold iron.
Hear the chimes in the night.
Cold iron, cold iron.
The god had granted me his might."

===========

After sending runners to contact the various captains Archibold rents out one of the larger meeting rooms in a tavern at the end of the dock. After bringing them all together they agree that something needs to be done about the creatures on the bottom of their ships, and that it's eating away at their profits. They agree that if the company has three men working on it they will pay a handsome sum on 20 Tarllings a month (You only have one suit at the moment, making two more will cost 75 Tarllings, but will secure a permeant contract)

Get Poncho on this case.

30 tarlings and they have a deal

Concerning Mousy. Lets hire a good detective-
>>21985173
Or using Poncho as bloodhound works too.
>>
>>21985147
From what I can gather, cold iron is a cell, chimes in the night is a bell, what will be done could be fear and wonder at what is happening, and the god granting his might is something consecrated. So... Church torture room time? Hooray puzzlemode

I know Captcha. I know she is.

Also, remember guys, we're a company not a mercenary band or murderhobos. If we get close to something dangerous we should hire mercenaries or adventurers.
>>
>>21985254
Or build some damn guns.
>>
>>21985230
No, Cold Iron, in the proper noun form, is harmful to incredibly naturally-aligned things. Elves in the city won't be harmed like that. Unless they're Druids, which is possible. Urban Druid, and all.

D&D knowledge, never thought it would help here.

>>21985254
That's why we investigate to the best of our ability, and then hire some thugs to do our dirty work. Pay 'em off later, and maybe hire 'em on as bruisers and extra big hands and/or watchdogs. Dig?
>>
>>21985254
So...We need to be Quest Givers?

HIRE OUR GANGS!
>>
>>21985266
Having and making guns does not mean we are proficient at using them.
We are more or less a tech company, I don't want to risk our workers lives when we could hire perfectly good thugs from the docks.
Unless we hire permanent guards with proper training but we're too small of a company for such expenditures.
>>
>>21985281
* HIRE OUR GANGS And sell them our shit while we're at it.
>>
>>21985321
No, we hire them on as muscle, have them tote our gear around, and sell to adventurers then. Because let's be honest. Murderhobos make us money.
>>
>>21985321
I like this plan.

And are there Slaves in this world? Just a question.

Yes, but slaves are given rights under the Barony. They are not allowed to be abused by their masters and must be given a certain standard of living quarters and have a set date for their release in the future. More like indentured servants than slaves.

Also magic in this world is not the "I shoot a fireball at you" kind, but the "I draw a whole bunch of diagrams and meditate for a few hours to rip a small hole in the dimensional wall, so I can shoot a fire ball at you through it" kind.

Archibold and Aric look for new ways to improve their engine, and come up with an idea using pressure differentials to move a piston back and forth. It was the same idea behind most steam engines, except replacing fires and builders with two portals. There was a lot of fine details to work out before a practical prototype could be constructed, but the idea is there.

~Closer to inventing new form of engine! Need to research again for more results~

New uniforms have been bought, y'all are lookin' snazzy now!

Archibold and Yaril finally decide that they need to do something about Mousy. They return to the apartment, but this time bring Poncho with them to see if he can sniff something out. The enormous animal gets looks as they go to the apartment, but with all the oddities that are frequently seen around the docks no one pays them any heed beyond that.

Once inside Poncho sniffs around, and eventually finds a scent, leading them back outside. They follow the dog on a pathway back towards the shop, taking many shortcuts through the back alleys.

"Why did she go through here?" commented Samantha.

"The lass grew up on the wharf, probably feels safer back here than out on da streets. Stayed in the slipways most of 'er life," commented Eric as they followed Poncho. Suddenly he stopped, sniffing around a small area behind a building, then turned and went off in another direction.

They followed the dog for several more blocks before stopping in front of an old abandoned building, a warehouse on the edge of the docks. Dust filled the windows.

Ok, we have three for looking through the window, then knocking. Here, we go!!!!!

========

Archibold and Yaril look through the window (Eric attempts to but is defeated by his natural dwarfiness). Inside rows of derelict crates stretch from one end of the floor to the other. Though not much can be seen through the forest of boxes the foreman's office, situated on a high platform at one end, has a light on.

Moving to the door they knock, and wait thirty seconds, when no one answers Archibold cautiously opens the door. Once inside they begin to look around, and find footprints on the floor, and one set of which are being dragged. In the center of the room a magic circle was drawn, and all the footprints disappear there. Whoever took her used a portal to teleport away, the coordinates of the spell were unfortunately washes away as well.

"The signature!" exclaimed Archibold, a magi would not be able to get rid of their hand on it, the coordinates could be scratched off after the portal was anchored, but the name needed to stay the entire time.

Dark ink spelled out the name in Glyphs.

"Richard, Richard Platard." The group returns of the office unsure of what to do, it seems that Richard was the one who cast the spell, and him men the ones who opened the portal.

Actually, there are several guilds of monster hunters (outside of the side there are giant eldritch monsters that constantly need slaying due to large amounts of magical radiation) who are the closest you would get to your classic sort of adventurer. They however take thousand upon thousand Tarlling contracts to slay enormous beasts and are out of your praise range.

The rest of them are how most people would view adventurers, a bunch of homeless mercenaries who occasionally come to town in search of the bottom of the barrel contracts the guilds won't take. They are not always honest and will sometimes sell people out to a higher bidder. They're the weapon of the desperate.

There is also the various gangs of the Lower City. You don;t have contacts with any specific ones, but a group known as the Flash Mob (all those who do not belong to a specific gang but are current;y in the process of proving themselves) where gang members come together to get contracts to prove themselves to the real gangs and mafia clans.

Yes there in fact is, they were an old royal house from the northern Spine Tops who were forced from their home when Ichaku, Lord of the Three Peaks, destroyed their hold and estates (Ichaku is a giant living creature of rock and crystal created from exposure to intense magical radiation)

They'd be best to deal with an artifact. Plus they'd know what tge riddle ment.
>>
>>21986467
Actually I have changed that. 4 turns = 1 month. I did this because it fits much better with how I have been displaying the time in game. Also, so mousy hasn't been gone for three months... just a few weeks.
>>
>>21986504
well, still my point stands. We can do all of these in one turn withing the narrative.
Check on brother, ask authorities for help and if they refuse get some thugs and visit Richard.

Can we call for Sarric whenever we want or do we need to do some special ritual?
>>
>>21986527
Sarric requires a ritual. Also, I have to limit your actions per turn, you must choose one of those (I'll allow talking to the brother as your action, then your reaction, a non point taker, to be either authorities or thugs)
>>
>>21986467
Richard's brother
>>
>>21986553
BROTHER -> AUTHORITIES

All in favour say "Aye"
All opposed say "Nay"
>>
>>21986553
lets talk to his brother then
>>
>>21986567
Bro it is.
>>
You go to hire once more, dusting off the "help wanted" sign. Only six people arrive however, but you hire them on the spot. One shows signs of special talent, a Rock Troll named Grac, who is extremely burly

~ special employee Grac, decreases chance of break ins~
======

Since the brothers split up Moxxin has been living the high life, he has sold off his assets and instead decided to remove himself as far as possible from his brother. Once Archibold and co. arrive in the car they are greeted by his butler, an indentured servant, who ushers them inside.

"What is it you wanted to talk to me about?"

> How do you respond?
>>
>>21986602
(I am bad at diplomancy. I leave this one to you gents.)
>>
>>21986602
>~ special employee Grac, decreases chance of break ins~
Awesome, our own bruiser.

> How do you respond?
Well, lets start by saying that this involves his brother. Ask him about him and if he had been acting strangely lately and how. Then ask him about the thing that we retrieved and what he knows about it.
>>
>>21986602
"Your brother had contacted us about an artifact from a sunken bit. Our problem is...we would like to know what sort of thing he'd be interested in."
>>
>>21986602
This is in regards to a certain box we are looking for, and our sources say you may know were it is. (describe the box we recovered)

>If they broke up and the one brother went after the box, they probably broke up because of it.
>>
>>21986602
So... It looks like your brother Richard is fucking up Lolis again. Wazzap with that?
>>
>>21986637
>>21986645
Don't give away too much information guys!
For all we know, the brother could be in on it.
>>
>>21986659
Bleh, I doubt it.
Just a hunch, I don't have anything to back this
>>
"We were hired to retrieve an item form the bottom of the bay for your brother, however he was acting extremely strange around it. Since then we have had one of our employees go missing, and have reason to believe your brother was behind it," explained Yaril calmly. During the speech Moxxin's skin grew more and more pale, a sheen of sweat appeared on his brow.

"Oh no, he really has it." Mixxin pulled his rotund form from his chair and began to pace the room.

"Has what?" asked Archibold from his chair.

"The Tome of Iron, damn... you're involved now. No point in you not knowing." The fat man walked to the book shelf, retrieving a slim volume from it. Sitting back down he opened up, inside were pictures of the two brothers. He pointed to one. They couldn't have been older than twenty, between them they held a large iron cylinder.

"We found that years ago, when we inherited dad's business. I didn;t think much of it, old piece of magic. Fisherman fish them up every so often anyway, except... Richard was obsessed with it. It wasn't much at first, but over the years he became consumed; the business would have fallen apart if I hadn't picked up the slack." TUrning the page he showed pictures of several more metal items.
>>
>>21986762
"He would leave the city for months in search of these things. Just before I quit he came back with one, and kept spouting something about how 'the Iron Crown must fit,' and that all he needed was the crown jewel. I love my brother, but this wasn't him. I tried to talk to him, but he wouldn't listen, and when I tried to go to the authorities they told me he hadn't done anything illegal. I'm sure he's paying them off, and slandering my name that I'm some kind of idiot! I buggered off." Moxxin slammed the book shut and stood up, his face still pale, but his eyes determined.

"If you got it for him, it means what ever he was making is done now. 'The Iron Crown'."

How do you respond
> Authorities
> Gangs
> Neither, use own muscle.
>>
>>21986773
How do we respond?
Yes. (For those unversed, ALL.)
>>
>>21986773
Authorities, but first ask Moxxin what exactly the Iron Crown can do
>>
>>21986773
Fire bros. This is magical and really old..

Get them. Now. Please...
>>
>>21986773
Some gang members and our own muscle.
>>
>>21986799
"What it can do? I have no idea; I've never been one to get near magic, too much risk. The only think I know is that whenever I got near those rooms where he kept them strange things happened. Glass would break, maintains seemed to follow you with their eyes, visions of strange dark spirits. All I know is that he said once 'The metal shall case down the four', but what ever that means I don't know."

Archibold sets up a summoning circle for Sarric, what they had just encountered was way above his head. Old magic from before the sunset war, he had heard what they did under the right conditions, but with someone who had little idea on how to control it. A shiver ran down his spine just thinking about it.

In the center of the circle sat the contract, both their finger prints glowing bright. After a few minutes a ball of flame appeared and solidified into Sarric's form. Unlike before he wasn't burning so bright, and the armor on his body had solidified enough so he didn't burn the wood he was standing on.

"Well hello there Archibold, it's good of you to call. I thought you had forgotten of our contract." The fire elemental stepped from the circle and sat in a chair, a small hiss rose from the cushion.

"Hello there Sarric, I need to ask you a question." The elemental looked at him, tossing a ball of fire from his hand into the air before catching it.

"About what?"

"Have you ever heard of something called the Crown of Iron?" The fire in Sarric body burned bright blue for a moment, and he nearly dropped the ball of fire onto the floor. After scrambling he straightened up.

"Crown of Iron? Where did you hear about that?!"

"Someone hired us to get a piece, we didn't know what it was was at the time. We just learned what it is called, what is it Sarric?" asked Archibold, stepping forward to face the elemental.
>>
>>21987261

"It's bad, really bad. A long time ago my father and the other lords weren't the only houses in the elemental plane of fire. There was the House of Metal too... they ruled over the forge works, but years ago they tried to kill off the other houses and establish themselves rulers. They called the thing they built to do this The Crown of Iron. If it's being put back together, we have to fix this, now. How many parts does he have?" shouted Sarric.

"We think all of them. Can't we go to your father, the Duke. Can't he help?"

"Not if it's here, if he so much as sets foot in the city this place will turn into a pile of melted stone and ash. I might be able to get some of the royal guards to come, but that's it. If my father hears of this... I wouldn't put it past him to invade Silverdale."

And now we have more than city-wide disaster evidence. This goes onto the Plane of Fire. Check, and mate. Lets leave the Toppers outta this though, since he pretty much explicitly stated, THEY ARE BEING BRIBED. So... We need friends. The House of Ash is a bad idea, so... We need some thugs and murderhobos to save the day FOR us because, and I quote "this is a business civ and we should be peddling our watches" end quote.

I kinda thought that royal fire elementals would be much more stuck up and annoyed. Sarric seems more of a bro than I thought.

>>21987322
Well okay, you were right. Doesn't mean that I'm happy that it was so predictable!
Sarric said he can help with some of his guards. We have the Poncho and that new rock troll. We could hire some thugs for meatshield duty. I think we have enough people.

Of course.

>A) Search for a job (Specify a type, you're a magi tech selling and manufacturing company, try and go off that.)
Lets peddle our AC units, but this time in middle city.

>H) Ask Grandfather for advice, counts as a free action.
Wait, our grandfather is alive!?
>>
>>21987276
Okay, that's it. Tell the guards, tell the Magi, even send a courtesy flier to the Slayer's Guilds. The city is doomed unless we tell someone.

Also,

>>21987372

D) Stop researching the Ralland Planar Combustion Engine, start researching ways to weaponize those dive suits of ours.

G) Warn the fucking city. Take people out of advertisement to do this, take all the people that aren't researching or running a storefront, have them tell anyone with the power to do something about this. Magi College, Slayer's Guilds, Even if the police are payed off we should warn them too. Make sure EVERYONE knows what is going down.

And H) too, because why not?
>>
>>21987372
H because hell yeah free advice from grandpappy.

Also we should buy the Employee Lounge Upgrade after this - because holy shit if our employees are being abducted, morale will be shit.

As for the Action Points, I vote using A Crown Broken to beat the living bejeezus out of Richard, hopefully finishing him off (doubtful) with the help of some B) Company Alliances with EVERYONE now. They want to live, they should probably help kill Richard.

Just a warning to you all, the elemental planes does have citizens within the city, and the mages have contact with the elementals. >>
>>21987456
Hmm... Well, maybe we should just go all out B) to get everyone on our side in a more covert manner. Save face and save the place.
>>
>>21987440
So we can't go to the Magi, they'll tell the Elementals.

We can't go to the Authorities, they've ALL been bribed, every last one of them.

We can go to the Shady Underground Fuckers, but I'm sure you've found a way to bar that option from us too.

I just wanted to invent shit and sell watches ;_;
>>
>>21987440
I see. So we must deal with this ourself.

I repeat. Get Sarric, his few guards, Poncho, Grac, 5-10 low-level street thugs and go all out.
>>
>>21987469
You can't talk to everyone, basically a B is setting up a meeting with one group and going to speak with them. You can make up and fluff your own group, or you can specify some parameters and I;ll make one for you. Or you could go to a group you already have an alliance with.
>>
>>21987478
>I just wanted to invent shit and sell watches ;_;

Same here, bro.
Why couldn't this be some minor thing? Why does everything have to turn into world ending shit where the MC must save it?
>>
>>21987478
They have no all be bribed, you can find some good ones (Moxxin just thinks they are being bribed, who knows, he could be wrong or lying). The mages would be a calculated risk. The houses would work fine.
>>
>>21987502
Hmm... Maybe we could just go to the Crime Lords and say "Hey, you want an underworld to run, help us save it. Maybe you'll even get a discount on our stuff, too." and ally up with them that way. Sort of.
>>
>>21987424
We just assumed.

So it seems everyone agrees that you all have to go and save your elf Loli, but are split wether to do it with just the House of Ash royal guard, or to hire out thugs instead.

Also, the second option seems split between trying to get relations between one of the crime gangs or peddling the AC.

The Gubbin Grabbers?
One of the Clans?
Other?

Flash Mob, since they are not real gang members and we really just need cannon fodder

Archibold walks into Grandfathers place, the old man sitting at a table by the window enjoying tea. He explains their current predicament.

"Ah, well... end of the world stuff. That happens a lot more often than you think. I had to deal with it more than a few times while running my business. This whole city is only ever a few days from ending anyway. Honestly I say just head in there and stop what ever they were doing... also... just a warning... that Moxxin fellow is supposed to be a good actor right? I don't think you should trust him."

==========

Yaril is sent into one of the large taverns, a notorious hang out from the Gubbin Grabbers between jobs. An hour and a half later he comes out with a large group of them, each holding a small bag of coinage.

"Only cost us 50 Tarllings, these idiots don't know hoe much they're worth." They proceed to the shop where they get ready for the assault on Richard's factory.

=======

In the dead of night the entire group sets out to the other side of the docks where the factory lays. Eric points out the service entrance in the back, having used it to unload crates when he used to work there. Sarric stands at the ready next to the car, managing to bring three royal guard with him, all old friends from his childhood.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" asked Yaril, looking up to the high wooden tower far above. Near the top lights were on, shadows flickering over the windows.

"What choice do we have?" said Sarric, astride some kind of enormous salamander the think chewing on the flagstones beneath its feet. The Gubbins head in, and after they call an all clear so does Poncho and Garc. Eventually one comes back, saying that the bottom floor is evidently clear.

Poncho is sent to sniff around, once he heads to a corner you hear the roar of the dog and what sounds like a skuffle. The Gubbins head in to deal with it, and the sounds of fighting continue. Archibold looks through the boxes, at the end of the cannery iron golems are fighting with the Gubbins. Luckily they don't seem to be very coordinated, and once knocked over are easy have their thin head cracked or smashed. Some of the Gubbins run, others stay and fight. Poncho destroyed four of the things easily, before being hit and knocked to the ground, where he lay whimpering.

Archibold ran over, kneeling next to the dog. He merely seems to the stunned, and luckily not killed, maybe a cracked rib, but he would live.

What the hell is up with you people trying to go into illegal shit. There is no reason for us to dabble in this.

>>21987904
Man, you scared me, I saw "-1 Poncho" before reading the update.
>>
There is only .
>>
>>21987931
I see no problem with getting into illegal shit, aslong as it is with someone in power like the merchant guilds. I cannot see why they dont want more coin!
>>
>>21987904
Ok, and it seems everyone want to get up to the office. Everyone begins to climb the stairs, Archibold in the lead. On a floor halfway up they find a large chamber leading off from the main hall. Within it is Richard, standing in the center. By his side is Moxxin.

A large iron creation sits in the center of the room, a ring of pillars with the box situated in the middle. On top of the box is Mousy, her arms bound behind her back.

"It sure took you all long enough to show up." Said Moxxin, his hands held out in front of him. "And I see you brought friends, excellent, truly excellent, more workers for the mines." The fat man walks forward, the pillars quiver and several iron golems step out from them, morphing from the metal.

"Now, I need you all to just surrender and I promise I we won't hurt you. We'll even provide you will some nice... accommodations until your service time is up. No need to be hostile, we have followed standard procedure." The golems walk forward to circle your party, Sarric stands at the ready, a large hammer in hand.

> How do y'all respond?
>>
>>21987952
It isn't "illegal" if we keep our own hands clean. I mean, all we do is supply them with underwater-savvy engines. What they do with them past that is beyond our control.
>>
>>21987964
"Aim for their brittle heads." - and do just that. I assume we could also use the AC stuff we have in concentrated enough amounts that we could melt the Golems' heads, because direct link to the Plane of Elemental Fire. It's gonna be hot.
>>
>>21987952
>slong as it is with someone in power like the merchant guilds.
This is even WORSE

Who do you think they are going to throw to the wolves once authorities start kicking doors down? They will shift all the blame to us just to save their skin.

>more coin
Well, dang. Why don't we just go around mugging people then if you want easy coin?

>>21987964
.... fireballs and lightning? We ARE a (part) Mage after all.
Tell Sarric to go directly against Moxxin while the rest hold off the golems. I think he will be faster and nimbler than anyone else.
>>
>>21988017
>Who do you think they are going to throw to the wolves once authorities start kicking doors down? They will shift all the blame to us just to save their skin.

B-but they are the authorities!

Well, I see your point, I just went thinking on what we could combine our tech into.

But even if they rule this place, dealing with them could get dangerous fast!
>>
Being the fact Archibold isn't a fighter, merely a magi, he steps back at Sarric goes to work. It seems that Moxxin hadn't been expecting the group to have connections with the elemental plane of fire. The Golems are destroyed and Moxxin subdued, along with his brother.

"Well, that wasn't very climactic," commented Yaril from the back of the group, "I really would have expected someone who was planning the end of the world to be a bit more organized about it." From here seat kneeling of the floor Moxxin began to splutter.

"End of the world? What daft idiot would plan that?" In the center of the ring of iron a small portal opened, the air around it had been shimmering for several minutes, but finally it broke. On the other side, crystals extended for miles.

"Don't you see you idiots, we wanted crystals. Damned crystals! The elementals won't have any of us mortals getting our hands on them, but their the best trading items in this city. We wanted to be rich, we needed workers for the mines, and who better than those we paid to get us the damn portal. Keeps things quiet and the whole bit."

"So, you weren't trying to bring about the fall of the four houses?" asked Sarric, his flame had begun to go out. He looked confused, looking back and forth from the portal to the man.

"No you fool! I haven't done anything illegal, release me at once. I was taking you as indentured servants for the mines, and if I have a portal, elemental law can not persecute me for mining there!"
>>
>>21988084
Fuck

And back in to serious mode, "Why did you kidnap Mousy, instead of just hire or purchase contracts for indentured servants?"
>>
>>21988084
Nigga, we aint going to release someone who tried to make us slaves.
besides, there got to be some laws regarding ancient artifacts.

No, we can't let them keep the Iron Crow thing. Take it away and give it to Sarric for safe-keeping.
Also, rescue our elf loli
>>
>>21988084
You bring the two brothers before the authorities, but unfortunately there is nothing actually against Silverdale law found against them. They are released and allowed to go back to their factory, and Mousy is released into your case, as she was won via trial by combat from the offending party. As you leave you hear Moxxin muttering something about "Damn more trouble than they're worth."

Sarric goes back to his home, slightly embarrassed about the whole situation. And another chapter of the company comes to a close.

~A Crown Broken finished! Attained Mousy, special worker. During her ordeal she gleaned information from being within the iron ring. Has gained two levels in Golemancy and Artificing.~

"Because we couldn't let anyone get wind that we had the crown, especially not the damned elementals! Now that they know it doesn't matter their law doesn't forbid it, they'll change the law before we can get a mine set up inside the plane!"
>>21988127
Oh and I forgot to mention. Sarric takes back the Crown of Iron to him home.
>>

>>
>>21988153

>>21988165
I totally read this all wrong. I'm too used to AD's "Fuck Everything" strategy.
>>
>>21988153
>Sarric takes back the Crown of Iron to him home.

That should give him some prestige, right? Should earn some respect for retrieving ancient artifact capable of threatening his home.

Also, did we retrieve couple of those iron golems?

You know we really should get a legal department. I mean those fucker literally kidnapped one of our employees.
>>
>>21988348

So that means.... we could go around kidnapping poor people and make them work for us without paying them wages? Why didn't we know of this before?!

>law in Silverdale is extremely convoluted.
I can see why one of the starting choices was a law firm.

>>21988357
When we get big enough, we could get one. Or maybe we could search for one, very talented lawyer and hire him/her.
... Still, I don't think it is necessary

>>21988381
Ok, theoretically if we caught someone kidnapping one of our employees, would it be illegal to smash their shit up in the process of getting our employee back.

And by smash their shit I mean their property.
>>

Would it be illegal to counter-kidnap them?
Why didn't we just kidnap them instead of bringing to the police?

Man, Silvedale sounds a great place. Just kidnap anyone who annoys you and force them into service.

Archibold and Eric attempt to get the golems working for several days, but neither of them know exactly what to do with golem craft, which mainly involved the binding of stay cosmic life energy into a form, and boarders between soul binding and more acceptable magics.

However after a few days Mousy wonders into the workshop, seeing both of them hunched over a half taking apart Golem head.

"Maybe if we use a rune of binding and just leave it around some plants or something."

"No, but then we would have no way to keep it from picking up stray things." The two of them did not notice as the girl walked over to the bench, took a piece of paper and began to draw a magical sigil. After five minutes of discussion she came over and pushed it in front of them, directly onto the forehead of the golem.

It straightened up, standing over them... Archibold starred, going back and forth between the golem to the girl.

You activated one and they are not guarding anything as of yet. They count as workers. You'll need to expand the building to house more than 2 more.
>>
>>21989094
Ok locked in, lets od this.
>>
>>21989164
Oh

.... we don't have to pay them, right?
>>
"So you were able to get the cooling system this intense?" asked Archibold, inspecting the container. Eric had created a semi permeable mesh, the different tiles each emblazoned with a zero width portal rune.

"Yeah, wasn't too hard, just had to make 'em redundant. so that the ones in front shut off and the ones behind turn off. If they're on a cycle they won't wear out nearly as quickly." A small clockwork device switched wizard's knots in and out of place to activate and deactivate the runes.

"I think we might be able to sell this."

~Advance cooling system designs attained~

=======

Your men and go and meet with the captain, he is ecstatic over the cooling system and watches, and after a few drinks begins to talk business. He is no longer as guarded about business deals now that he knows you.

"I never much liked that whole idea we couldn't combine the two, those daft codgers are just afraid of progress aren't they?" he extended his hand to shake hands on the deal. A new shipment of watches and an AC system for each of his ships. All in all the company would make a 150 Tarrling profit.
>>
>>21989174
Nope, but they do take up spare and require maintenance. They only cost 1 Tarllings instead of two.

DID WE TELL HIM TO SPREAD THE WORD AROUND THE DOCKS?
It would help us if we try to sell them to canneries and fishers. Then the word might get around to the markets and we could sell them to vegetable sellers and such.

>>21989262
not sure what you're on about
>>
Also I am wondering about your guy's opinions of the names character. I am trying to make them... interesting.
>>
>>21989236
I like the Captain.
>>
>>21989305
Oh shit, still need to add someone into research.
>>
>>21989316
The names work well
>>
>>21989303
Buy the Slavery Exempt License.
Scout Midtown and research Engines
>>
>>21989305
Nothing really, It's not like i'm suggesting we produce some robot maids for house and bodyguard duty. It's not like there's plenty of demand for it.
>>
>>21989303
>Research: (5 occupied employees, boost to research)
One more into research. I wanna know at what point we will get into next tier

>300 Tarllings: Expand the business into a second building, specify what location the building should be in
Lets get a new building so we can hire more people.

>C) Hiring time (Search for new employes to fill the company's ranks)
If we turn on our all of the golems, we will have 37 employees (after we get the building), so aim to get 8 more employees
>>21989316
Absolutely love it. Nothing better than exposition in these type of games.
>>
>>21989355
lets not blow almost all of our money on a license that is barely useful.
Doubtful that we will deal with kidnappers at least for the coming year or so.
>>
>>21989365
I meant "named" character. I mean like their interactions and what not. I wanted the characters to be interesting while not overshadowing the company civ aspect.
>>
>>21989384
that's what I meant too

I love that kind of shit
>>
>>21989363
I warn thee, if this turns into a waifu thread I can't guarantee my sanity...
>>
>>21989407
Random, Secretary. You two have to come together to make a decision... or Paragon could just vote and break the tie.
>>
>>21989451
we should get our employees count to 40 so that we have an extra action.

I keep with my suggestion. License seems to me to be useless at the moment.
>>
>>21989365
Seconding this then.
>>
Twelve employees show up to be hired this round as the "for hire" sign is hung on Poncho and him allowed to run around the docks at top speed, dragging people back to the shop.

Eight are hired.

Archibold has a small ceremony for the opening of their second building. Which is located in

The Docks []
Midtown []
The Lower Markets []

Choose one.

Okay, changing my vote to this.

Also, the second action this turn is R&D of engine, right? >>21989355
>>
>>21989636
Yup.

Archibold looks at his new shop, it's larger than their first and attached to Eric's garage. The facilities have a small shop front with a march larger warehouse in the back.

==========

Archibold and Eric come together in the workshop to try and finish their designs for new piston engine, however part way through they hit a roadblock. The temperature differentials cause the metal to be brittle, and the machine to break in a matter of hours. However Mousy comes in with an idea.

"I could use golemancy. If we just animate the piston we can make it able to flex so the temperature doesn't break it." Eric and Archibold look at each other, and back off the engine for a moment to allow the girl working room. After she finished they run more tests, and the new flexible material is able to withstand the pressure.

Not useful? First off its insurance, Second It shows our employees that we fucking care(moral boost), Third it will probably be easier to hire people because of the protection they would get.

>>21989708
Can we give Mousy a raise?

Has motorcycle been invented/patented yet? If not i suggest we start researching and patenting one.

What, are in on the last page?
Dang.

See you next time, OP. Great Civ, great thread. I'm loving it!
>>
>>21989769
Ok everyone, that's it for tonight. I'm calling it as it is midnight and I have been doing this for nearly eight hours. Good game everyone, we got through thirteen turns, and our business has been oven for for just over six months.

Lets see how we go into the future! (Also, I'm just making this up as I go along, so warning)
>>
>>21989776
We can sell them to Midtown Currier Co.

Thanks, I'm glad people enjoy it.

No it has not been invented yet. High tension automobiles came onto the market less than a year ago.

Also I am willing too keep talking and ask questions until we face deletion.

Don't all quest runners do this? Anyway, see you!
>>

See you on friday then. I'm loving this quest.

Ummm... yeah I just looked it up. Great I've been using the wrong word so far.

Aight, we'll put more people to work next thread.

So it's courier? Motorcycle research it is.

Even we can't have Robot Maids, we can still be this world equivalent of Honda.

...I never said you couldn't have them, just that I couldn't garuntee my sanity...

Of course I am currently running three different Cthulhu mythos games, so my sanity is probably going to be gone soon enough. Besides, insanity might make me a better GM. Go for it sir, make your robotic maids... we already have a elf loli
