Your shell cracks one last time, before finally giving way. You force yourself out into the world, stretching out fully for the first time in your very short life. Taking stock of your surroundings, you see you are in a small nook, leading out to a larger cavern. There are several metal objects surrounding you, glowing softly and blasting flames at you and the remains of your egg. Three other eggs are next to the remains of yours, one of which of beginning to stir. Feeling starving from the exertion of escaping your shell, you consume it, carefully watching the other eggs for signs of further movement. By the time you finish, the second egg is starting to hatch too. No longer overwhelmed by hunger, you stop to consider your next action.

You are a newly hatched red dragon, what do you do?

They haven't finished hatching yet, you probably have several minutes before they free themselves. You decide to take advantage of this and prove who's in charge to the other hatchlings before they've even left their eggs. You take a step towards the nearest egg, feeling rather wobbly as you go. You have to concentrate on putting one leg in front of the other, unsurprising, considering you haven't actually used them before. You pause, should you attack now and take advantage of their inability to defend themselves, or take some a few minutes to get used to your body, then beat them when they've hatched?

>Don't worry, you're on easy mode for now.

Trotting forwards, you take a swipe at the exposed nose of your sibling. The blow connects surprisingly well and your...sister's egg, from the looks of it, tumbles over. The impact and sudden shift in weight is enough to break off a large piece of her egg, and she falls to the floor. Not giving her a chance to get her bearings, you jump on her and start biting. She yelps and attempts to push you off, failing to do so until you start maneuvering for a better grip. She scrabbles away from you and into the larger cavern. The other egg is closer to fully hatching, it's occupant seems too absorbed in escaping his shell to have noticed your fight. Your sister's egg is sitting there, if you're still hungry. She herself is still running away.

We are dominant...

OTOH, I think the really badass red dragons get dem red dragon milfs. Provided something's nubile, age really isn't an issue, as it only makes a dragon more badass, more powerful, more intelligent, etc. And since red dragons are both loathe to concede to another's dominance, and mildly sexually dimorphic in that females are on average a bit smaller and slightly weaker (as far as mining-machinery sized slabs of scale and muscle go,) awesome males tend to pair up with females a bit older than they are.

Of course, all of this is getting way too far ahead of ourselves here.

>This isn't going to be scifi, but it won't be pseudo medieval either.

Deciding to press your advantage, you tear a large enough chunk off your brother's eggshell to deliver a hard blow to his face. While he's still stunned, you haul him out, making sure to slam his head into the ground on the way. Just to drive the point home, you sit on his head and bite down on the outermost alar phalange of one of his wings. This snaps him out his dazed state and he convulses in pain. His sudden motion unbalances you just enough that when he rears back, he is able to pull his head from under you. This doesn't deter you, and two more blows to the face and several bites to the wings later, he too is fleeing into the main cavern.

You Have thoroughly beaten two of your siblings, but the third egg shows no signs of life.
>>

As a last insult, you quickly consume your fleeing siblings egg shells, while keeping careful watch in case they come back, or the final egg starts to show signs of life. You need not have bothered, as you see your brother and sister stop down the far end of the cavern and decide that the way to deal with being beaten up and robbed is to find someone else to beat up - namely each other. Keeping one eye on them, you start examining the final egg. It doesn't seem to be alive, it's slightly greyer that the other three shells were and it isn't giving off as much heat as the other two, even while bathed in magical flames. Glancing back at your siblings, you see they've each managed to grab the others' neck in their jaws and are attempting to pull their opponent backwards, all they're succeeding in doing is looking slightly silly. Deciding to take a chance, you strike the egg. Your claws cut into it with surprising ease and you pull a chunk of the shell off. The occupant is dead, and considering they are only a third your length, likely has been for some time. Poking at the corpse you consider eating it, you are reasonably full of eggshells, but food is food.

Before you can decide whether or not to eat your dead sibling you hear a loud smack from the other end the cavern. Your brother and sister are both sprawled out several metres away from each other looking rather bloody, and very confused. A deep, rumbling chuckle fills the cavern.

"Well, I suppose that puts you at the top." The disembodied voice says, thick with fake sounding surprise. "I wonder how long you'll stay there," it says, sounding almost like it's considering a bet.
>>
The air in the middle of the cavern shimmers slightly and you feel a sensation of *something* (an unfamiliar part of your mind tells you this is magic) giving way. Standing there is a huge red dragon, tall enough to almost reach the ceiling. She's flanked by two small reptilian figures - kobolds, that strange part of your mind tells you.

"As I hope you have figured out, I am your mother. I am Goltyrsyx. Now, follow me, you have a great deal to learn - you two especially," she glances back at your brother and sister.

Goltyrsyx leads you out of the cavern you were in to a more organised looking structure. It appears to have been carved straight out of rocks that make up the cave. Dozens of Kobolds scurry back and forth, many of them looking in the direction of you group with reverence and glee. Leading you further, she eventually a rough-hewn, downward sloping tunnel that leads out to a narrow cliff that overlooking a wide plain. The plain is dotted with copses of trees and ends
a few dozen kilometers away with a small series of hills.

"Tomorrow I will be taking you on a brief survey of the nearby landmarks out as far as the hills. I have little patience for failure so I suggest you don't engage in it. Practice flying until then, it shouldn't take you much more than an hour to get the hang of it. If you aren't able to keep up, then take care to memorise the way back." With that she turns and heads back into the lair.

Your brother and sister are alternating between glaring at you and each other, while trying to look supremely smug about something that must exist only in their imaginations.

On a more serious note have an explanation about the whole usually often always alignment thing:
Usually - meaning it's the most common alignment for that creature, but another alignment wouldn't be out of the ordinary, especially among named NPC's and PC's.
Often - meaning most creatures have this alignment, there are some that are one step away from it and anyone with a different alignment is usually named a NPC or PC.
Always - They almost always this alignment and being anything else is an enormous aberration. Anyone with a different alignment is either a named NPC or PC, or a dedicated follower thereof.
>>
>>22045295
Could be.

I also happen to think that each alignment has enormous latitude on how you choose to play it.
>>
So which course of action is it?

Practice gliding? Watch for plots (they don't look like they're planning on attacking you, they're glaring at each other just as much)? Just jump and see what happens?
>>
Rolled 10

Glide practice, untill we get a good enough feel of wings and aircurrents to try true flight.
>>
>>22045448
Jump and see what happens. Then attempt to glide from a small ledge. Then move on to actually attempting to fly.
>>
>>22045036

This is both a good means of assessing threat from the sister and of seeing what kind of flight capacity instincts will provide to a even the lowest of the newly-hatched.

If she falls and dies, then yes, definitely gliding practice. If she somehow manages to just pick up flying in a panic, then what the hell, we can do it too.

It doesn't take you long to decide that when a fourteen metre long armour plated killing machine tells you to do something, it's generally wise to do it. Keeping a careful eye on your siblings you approach the cliff, your sister immediately starts trotting ahead, getting there first.

"I guess I'll have to show you how it's done." She smirks.

>>22045487
She jumps off. She is immediately caught by an updraft that carries her up, flips her over, and slams her into the cliff face above you. Your brother bursts out laughing as she bounces back down and she immediately jumps on him. The two continue to fight, only pausing when they get precariously close to the cliff edge.

Deciding to be cautious about something that could kill you, you head back down to the cavern you hatched in. On the way you pass several small groups of Kobolds, each bows low and mutters "praise the high ones" as you pass. This pleases you. They also do the same to your brother and sister, who have stopped fighting and decided to see where you're going. You find this far less pleasing, but you can't have everything. Yet.

Your first attempt at gliding does not go well. After jumping from a tall boulder, you start sliding sideways and hit the wall wing first. Leaving both your siblings snickering, but they do no better. Your second attempt is far more effective and you manage to glide across the cavern, before gently skidding to a stop. Further attempts see you getting accustomed to flapping in flight and you are soon confident enough to make a real attempt at flight. You head back to the cliff, groups of Kobolds bowing and praising you along the way. The updraft along the cliff edge makes you wobble for a moment, but you quickly pass through it reach the open air. You quickly lose track of time as the sensation of flight overtakes you, and after a few hours of practice you are too tired to continue. You pass your siblings on the way back, both having managed to take to the air. Landing immediately after an updraft proves tricky, but you manage it.

You head back down to the cavern, only to be told by an exceedingly polite Kobold that there is a sleeping chamber specially prepared for each of you, just off the main atrium. You head there and go to sleep.

The following day is relatively uneventful. Goltyrsyx shows you most of the local sites of interest and your siblings seem to more interested in the tour than in doing anything to you. You now have a reasonable idea of what is in the area.

Second priority would be to learn all we can (knowledge is power and we love power)
Third is to keep our brother and sister fighting so that they can't team up against us.
Fourth is to find a way out from under the domination of our mother.

For hunting how about Dire animals? We like our prey to give us a challenge. Also share our meals with our siblings to show how much of a better hunter we are.

Yeah, you're too young to go scouting at this point for your own digs; wyrmlings stick out like sore thumbs in the forest or skies, and you'll get ganked.

>as requested, your first fire and first hunt.

The day following your trip around your mother territory, you spot a small herd of deer close to the edge of the eastern forest. Deciding some food is in order, you swoop in, now confident you will be able to perform the required maneuvering to bring one down.

Unfortunately, they see you coming and bolt. Try as you might, they each duck and jink out of your way each time you try and line up to tackle one. Growing increasingly frustrated, you line up for one more pass on the largest group. They bolt, as expected, but rather than trying to grab one you unleash your breath. One of the group is caught in the centre of the blast, and a second is badly wounded. Landing on the charred and dying animal, you begin to eat it. You can't help but feel considerable satisfaction at the thought you managed to kill it. You might have need to resort to your breath, rather than actually catching it, but it's the first thing you've ever killed yourself. You briefly savor the moment, then continue eating the still twitching deer.

>>>>>>>>

So the timeskip will involve practicing fighting (for now bears and fiercer prey will do, so you won't be helping your siblings), stop your siblings getting uppity, learn everything you can, maybe try and familiarise yourself with the locals, yes?

You don't have any skill at sorcery yet, that'll start during your later teens. You'll be able to get alternate form once you hit young adult (50 years from now - there will probably be more timeskips).

Roll a d5 to determine how many random events occur.

Update will be . . . later. It's currently 2:30am, so if some can keep this alive, or archive it I'll update at around midday (gmt) tomorrow.

The next three years pass uneventfully. You learn of the history of the area and of the neighboring dragons and a little of the local humanoid languages. The two dragons you are most likely to encounter are an adult bronze your mother knows to live somewhere off the coast and a mature adult green named Imgodidartak living in the western forest. Neither are likely to attack you if encountered, for fear of retribution from Goltyrsyx, but it would still be unwise to leave yourself exposed. The villages and town near to the lair were once part of the human Temurian Empire, but it fell into civil war nearly two centuries and has since descended into petty fiefdoms constantly fighting each other. The town is called Bureth, Goltyrsyx never bothered learning the names of the villages. Ever since your display in the nest, your mother has taken to calling you 'Fekiw'. This roughly translates as greed, which has positive connotations in draconic. Your sister has been nicknamed 'Slathalin' or Slath for short and your brother is 'Duskin'. You'll have to choose proper, adult names when you leave to build your own lairs.

The town and villages are technically an independent state, but pay a large tithe to Goltyrsyx in exchange for not being slaughtered. At the moment, the tithe is around 70% of everything they make. It was as high as 85% in the past, but the town leaders convinced her that she'd get less money in the long run if she kept it that high as large numbers of people were starving to death. As it is, they're merely kept in abject poverty. Would be heroic dragonslayers occasionally arrive, but they are quickly dispatched - usually by kobold traps surrounding the mountain you live in. Peasants who attempt to flee are hunted down killed, often by the town guard, who don't want to risk Goltyrsyx's wrath. She is currently trying to figure out how to allow trade ships to dock without allowing anyone to stow away on them.
>>
You and your siblings have started to put together small hoards. So far you are limited to well polished gemstones you've found near the river or in the hills, or the occasional silver coin or shiny object you managed to bully out of small groups of humanoids.

There is little of interest in the area as you are not yet big enough to risk an attack on the villages, and most merchant caravans have guards. You siblings remain suitably cowed and though they occasionally attempt to ambush you, they have yet to win and are taught a painful lesson every time thy try. They haven't tried ganging up on you either. You suspect they anticipate betrayal mid fight and don't want to risk it. All in all life is . . . safe, reliable, boring even.

It is in an attempt to alleviate this that you have been straying closer and closer to the green's territory to the west. Not close enough to even come close to actually entering his lands, but enough that it might be possible he'd try and chase you off. It is during one such trip you see the sharp glint of something highly reflective near the edge of the forest. Knowing you are still in your mothers lands (if only just) you head down to investigate, hoping to find treasure. After circling a few times you finally pin the location down to a small, very well hidden clearing. If you hadn't been trying to find somewhere to land you would have overlooked it. The trees dotted around the edge of the clearing are old and tall, their branches reach our far enough that it looks a like regular stretch of forest from the air. Looking closely you see signs of inhabitation - worn paths leading between mounds of earth, tools left lying about, seemingly abandoned. Whoever lives here left in a hurry, recently too.
>>
Elves - the scent makes that obvious. What is less obvious is why they are here. You had thought they preferred living in the open forest to living in camouflaged mounds of earth. According to your mother, there aren't supposed to by any settlements in this area and the Green to the west has claimed dominion over the elves living in the forest, though he has ceded all villages to you mother. Technically this is a village and so should be part of your mothers territory, but it seems to be comprised of elves and is partway into the forest so the Imgodidartak will likely want to claim it as well. In other words, a fight is about to occur. So far neither had been willing to attack the other. Imgodidartak, because he'd lose and Goltyrsyx because she wants to know more about the bronze and his inclinations before risking weakening herself against.

You catch a fresh scent as the wind shifts and turn to face its source. A scarred elf peers at you from under a nearby log, terror growing on his face as he realises he's been seen. He appears to be unarmed. You can smell more elves nearby, and they are presumably aware you are here.
>>
Elves are a good source of information, staying here will only cause problems, but if we can get ahold of one sometime in isolation we can probably get some info that isent from a massive draconic she-bitch that is our mother.
>>
The elf you've seen looks like he's about to run away. You're probably large enough to carry him off if you want, though there are others nearby who might try and stop you.

It isn't likely you'll be able to catch one of the ones by themselves. You've flown past this area dozens of times and didn't notice any signs of activity. Lands in the forest itself would be extremely difficult as your wingspan is far to large to fit between the trees. Going after other elves would mean risking a trip into the green's lands.
>>
>>22053598
This could be our first servants. A camouflaged village that no one knows about. They are probably being there because they are hiding from our mother and the green one. We could extort them, make them give us treasure for not ratting them out to our mother.

Not willing to let an easy chance for information about this curious arrangement pass you by, you swoop down under the canopy and grab the elf just as he starts to run. Dragging him into the air is surprisingly easy - he's lighter than you expected. You carry him back over the river, with him screaming in terror all the way. On the way, you have a chance to examine the elf. He's clearly been tortured. His ear tips have been cut off, he has a few knuckles missing on his left hand and his face has been scarred; from the looks of it, someone drew a knife across his cheeks, forehead and lips just to disfigure him. You land in a small dip on the eastern side of the river, half a kilometre away from it. He tries to scrabble away from you, but you knock him back down.

"You do realise your village is right between two rival dragon's territories, and is probably going to become hotly contested if they find out about it?"

He stares at you blankly for a moment, before replying in surprisingly good draconic. "I-I'm sorry I don't understand you." From the look on his face it seems he thinks this might be enough to earn him dismemberment.

>continued below
>>
"Ah, good this will make things easier," you say in draconic. "As I said, you village is nestled between the lands of Imgodidartak and the lands of Goltyrsyx. Since the agreement they've come to concerning who owns what could be interpreted to mean either of them could claim it, it will almost certainly be destroyed in the fight that will ensue when they find out it exists."

Surprise registers on his face as he hears this "W-we did not know there was another dragon nearby, I swear it!" he cries out in a panic. You wait a moment and he seems to realize you aren't planning to kill him for being there (yet, anyway). "The poisonous hate - you called him Imgodidartak - said there was a great evil in the lands past the river and that it's servants would destroy us were it not for his protection." He pauses, as if he were about to continue but stops there.

What do you want to ask him?

>The poisonous hate - you called him Imgodidartak - said there was a great evil in the lands past the river and that it's servants would destroy us were it not for his protection." He pauses, as if he were about to continue but stops there.

that speaks volumes

I do suppose we should try to discover what happened to him, then perhaps bring him back to the cave

Why has he been tortured?

>>
>>22054174
Why did they settle near this great evil ?

>>
Have him describe the Green's territory. What are the features, what does he do of his days, what are his favorite places, how many elves are there, how many settlements, etc. What's at the other edge, too ? It might be useful later.

We could use a secret lair somewhere.

>>22054174
"Keep talking if you value your innards,"

I don't mind being a CN or CG red dragon, but we just met this guy. Being civil is more than nice enough.

By the way, once we're done with him, we might have to carry him away from this place. If we give him back to his mates, they might give him up to the green dragon for him to interrogate about us.
It might be better to let them think we're just a dumb dragon who searched for a prey to devour.
Anyway, our current actions might also be the spark that will start the conflict over this settlement. We'll have to report to mom if it seems likely, so that she can prepare.

"And?" you draw the word out, as if speaking to a child who is struggling to remember something. The elf looks at you in terror, not seeming to realise what you're referring to. "You were about to say something about Imgodidartak and evil on this side of the river. What was it?"

He seems to struggle with the idea of telling you for a second, before he seems to remember something and speaks. "The Poisonous Hate claims that he protects us from evil and destruction, but...I cannot imagine anything more evil that that Hate himself." He closes his eyes, grimacing at whatever he is remembering. "He claims that elfkind are vermin, that any who followed our old customs deserved a slow death. He does not hesitate to enforce this. Every day he inflicts new miseries on my clan. He has each of us disfigured, saying our beauty might make us think we're more than just animals. When he made my father his chief documentor - that is, the one who performs minor administration duties the Hate does not concern himself with - he said that an elf who spends so much time in his presence should have a permanent reminder of his position in the world." He starts to choke up. "So he had my father's feet cut off so he would be forced to crawl. He said this was a far more appropriate position for an elf. When another dragon visited - his sister, I think - he made my wife prepare a meal for her." He's openly crying at this point. "H-he made her cook and serve our newborn son." He stops for a moment to steady himself. "It was that that made us decide to run. I have seen what he does to those who flee, but I no longer care."
>>
"So why are you still in the forest if he's so much trouble?" you say.

"We had stopped in the clearing to decide where to go, There is ocean to the north and west, mountains to the south and the plains to the west." The way he says 'plains' suggests the word has some deeper meaning. "Many of us wanted to try and cross the plains, to find somewhere new to live, but the younger ones are scared of the stories told about the monsters who dwell on them. They say there are beings on them that will eat your flesh while you are still alive and consume your soul. I told them it's probably just stories told by the Hate to stop us escaping, but they are still afraid. Fear is all many of them have known."

Enough whining about his silly little plight you decide. More important things are at stake, like the possibilities of loot. "How well defended is Imgodidartak's lair, enchantments, traps, guards, that sort of thing?"

The sudden change in track seems surprise him for a moment, but he quickly answers. "I do not know what enchantments there are, he does not tell us such things. I have seen the tree come to life and attack one group of fighters who tried to kill him in his lair. There are lots of traps. He makes my people prepare them. There are no guards, other than perhaps the trees."

Well I think we have an oppertunity here my fellow whelps... I say we tell this elf to take his people and have them join our land we'll protect them for a tribute of 45% of the materialo goods once they have established a village and as they settle we ramp it up must tell him this because we are giving him such a low discount on the tribute so that their village has an economy built up enouhg to handle the stain of tribute.

This way we can have a American civil war situation where the slaves escape to the north (us) for freedom from the opressive south ( the green dragon)

Not to mention we gain our own servants.... And think about the cultural significence we gain if we are the savior of elvenkind!
>>
>>22054612
A tormented people just waiting for a savior? If we free them we could rule over them with relative ease. Everything we do to them will be nothing compared to what the green did.

If we are nice to them we could even make them deathly loyal. I can just imagine it: the Fire-elves, a vicious clan of elves deathly loyal to their lord Dragon. Or something along those lines.

That's where my mother is. You guys are gonna tell us everything you know about the forest and the Hate. If it's satisfying, you might live on in less misery than you knew before.
Who knows, you might even get my help to leave the country.

I'll go ahead. You can try to flee back in the forest, but I don't think that's a good idea. The plains are her territory, some humans are there and they won't protect you from anyone.

So green doesn't flip his shit and start killing them all, he has a pretty damn good sense of his own terrain and at his age a damn good sense of smell
>>
>>22055018
Cant we wait to act like a total dick till we get our fire-elf personal guard?
>>
>>22055006
>I beg to disagree, scarring the elves is the most fun you can have by yourself.
No, that's flying around and hunting and burning stuff. Damaging helpless animals is not more fun than breaking rocks.
>>
>>22055032
They're already next to our territory. He won't dare attack once they cross over.
Plus, he didn't get them yet, so he probably does not know where they are. To keep it that way, they better keep moving.
>>
Look, Just tell them to move into Mom's territory and hide somewhere. We'll figure out what to do next.
>>
>>22055110
this, in the meantime lets get elfie going then get back to the cave
>>
So, consensus is to have them move over the river and hide, then go and see what your mother has to say about their potential use, yes? Do you want to bring one along? Will you carry them across the river one at a time or have them make their own way there?
>>
>>22055110
Recommend to keep their new houses covered from being discovered from air, but give them some sort of way we can find them.
>>
>>22055146
They can find their own way, but make sure we know where they are hidden. And bring the one we talked to back to our mom.
>>
>>22055110
lets explain it to him nicely and promise safety when he gets to our territory, mom won't care too much, but he is going to be unsure and this is a huge gamble for him to take, so we need to be polite and reassuring, also time is of the essence with this so tell him to walk swiftly
>>
>>22055146
they can find a way across the river, we will keep an eye on them and give aid if necessary, but for now lets make sure all is ready for our side
>>
>>22055038
>burning stuff and elves, hear their cries and lamentations of their women
FTFY
>>
>>22055146
Escort the elves to the river and make sure they lose their scent in the water so they can stay hidden for the meantime, and bring the scarred elf with us as proof - but make sure he knows his place, mother won't like him.
>>
>>22055183
I am sure he is up to date in dealing with large angry dragons
>>
>>22055159
Or we could just force their compliance by burning a couple of their huts, I'm pretty sure that the rest will get the right idea. Elves are supposed to be bright, after all.
>>
Roll a d10 for mothers reaction (low is good).
>>
>>22055196
We need to get them here, no need to reinforce old green being the protector in their eyes, and stop trying to be edgy
>>
Rolled 61

>>22055197
HERE GOES FAILURE
>>
>>22055146
The elves can find their own way across the river, we're not a ferry or anything. Taking a stinky mammal with us won't impress Mom, let's just tell her that we stole a bunch of slaves from the green.
>>
Rolled 4

>>22055212
oh wait wrong dice
>>
hurr
>>
Rolled 7

>>22055197

>>22055193
He might start blubbering or something, he's there as proof and better act like the furniture he is.
>>
Rolled 4

Rolling
>>
>>22055215
that might work
>>
>>22055211
Stop being such a wuss and try having some fun. Red dragons are made for wrecking shit and giving no fucks.
>>
>>22055215
Let's tell her we found a bunch of escaping slaves, and told them to cross the river.

She probably won't take so kindly to us stealing directly from the green and letting her face the consequences.
>>
bump for rp
>>
>>22055239
That's bulettes. We're intelligent people.
>>
>>22055239
Yes. Adult red dragons. We are what, a wyrmling? I don't like setting part of greeny boys territory on fire, he might just forget about the deal with mother and come and kick our face in.
>>
>>22055317
tell her we'll take care of it, she won't have to do anything
>>
Rolled 6

Theres fun..
then theres just being stupid.

Go with the stole slaves story. If you get all of them to settle in our land then it is technically true.
>>
>>22055328
Are you serious? We have nothing on the green dragon, we need mom to handle him if he gets pissed. Btw, how old is mother?
>>
>>22055371
only if there is a fight, a few elves is all we need for now, green won't give many shits about a few runaways when he has hundreds of slaves, if he notices at all, and if they just happen to wander into our territory his loss, we must not let him get wise to our scheme, as for mother as long as it does not become her problem she should be fine
>>
>>22055397
>steal dragon's property
>assume it won't give a shit
Best case scenario as far as I can see is that we kite the green to fight with mom, and then we get to finish the weakend survivor. Everybody wins!
>>
>>22055421
only if he figures out it was us who got his elves to run
>>
>>22055357
>>22055417
Look, we need to be as blatant about stealing slaves since we *want* the green to aggro mom. There's loot to be had!
>>
>>22055421
Then either our sister and brother or the bronze murders us. Plus, we aren't strong enough to hold onto this territory.
>>
>>22055449
Yes, we want. But mom doesn't since she still hasn't got that bronze dragon out of her back. I imagine her displeasure about pulling her into a conflict she did not want would be... painful. We still need her.
>>
>>22055449
No there's not. If any loot is had, it's for mom.
What we get is her attention, and maybe cooperative elven slaves. Better get the right kind of attention.
>>
>>22055449
WE ARE LIKE SIX YEARS OLD! WE CAN'T FUCKING DO MAGIC AND WE AREN'T ANYWHERE NEAR AS STRONG AS YOU THINK WE ARE. WAIT UNTIL WE ARE A YOUNG ADULT BEFORE WE START TRYING TO CONQUER SHIT!
>>
I see the end of this being we must find a new territory; Preferable near mum, but we can use some kobold families and the elves to build a new lair. Mom is going to kick us out one day soon we should start getting ready
>>
all the more reason to talk now to mom, we tell her about the elves fleeing old green, then calm her down with sweet info from the elves family who works for green about his treasures, his territory, her stockpiles, then if need be tell her we will take the slaves out of the area
>>
Rolled 6

>>22055467
Conflict was inevitable when the elves made their village in contested territory, we're in the process of solving that problem and possibly giving us an advantage over the green dragon large enough to justify upsetting the status quo.
>>
>>22055486
We still be like six. Personally I think that as soon as this adventure is over we should time-skip to young adult because so many people seem to want to scheme far beyond are current powerlevel and the thread keeps getting slowed to a crawl when people point that out.
>>
>>22055479
SO WHAT NAPOLEON WAS LIKE FIVE YEARS OLD WHEN HE CONQUERED CORSICA ALL WE NEED IS AMBITION AND TO BELIEVE IN OURSELVES.
>>
>>22055534
Also, delicious horny teenager dragon shenanigans.
>>
>>22055534
good thinking, we can still shape the elves to our desires so when we do make our own territory we will have workers ready
>>
should we bring something for mother to eat, as an offering before we bring this to her? it might brighten her disposition

like an elk or cow or something
>>
>>22055559
>elf
>>
Only if you really want to clue her off that were trying to manipulate her.
>>
>>22055577
point taken, lets head out then
>>
>>22055537
Or we could just not get into trouble and timeskip until we have enough ability to accomplish the stuff you want. You don't seem to realize that Mom could still beat the shit out of us no matter how badly she is wounded.
>>
>>22055598
I think we need to lay out the groundwork for our glorious elf slaves, though. We'll set up a sanctuary for them and smuggle elves constantly from green's territory.
Mark them as ours and set up a cult of personality, we're going to be a CE elven messiah eventually!
>>
>>22055577
>>22055559
We can bring an elf. She can always eat it if she wants.
>>
>>22055642
didn't that elf say its family were accountants and skilled in finance? and how mother has been looking for a way to get trade goods into the docks without stowaways? I suspect his clans skills may yet prove interesting to her
>>
OP we are getting nowhere. Please just post an update.
>>
>>22055666
Satan commands it OP
>>
>>22055634
>Also, sweet all-female elite guard of ritually mutilated half-elven half-dragon fanatics.
>>
>>22055681
Sounds like fun. Minus the mutilation part. Then they aren't pretty.
>>
>Also, sweet all-female elite guard of ritually mutilated half-elven half-dragon fanatics.

get rid of the mutilation shit and we are going somewhere, unless it is tattoos and piercings, as far as I'll go, no Guro
>>
Update is coming, it's longer than the others though.
>>
>>22055666
You might have noticed that OP is a rather slow typing guy. I am pretty sure he is already writing.

>>22055634
Meh. Elves have too much free will. Just get some kobolds, they are naturally in awe of dragons.

I was thinking more along these lines, but done with claws.
>>
>>22055715
they can still form cults, case and point; drow

plus what is that old saying? you catch more flies with honey; we can gain many willing and skilled servants with a little draconian grace and the occasional display of burning power.

we will get kobolds, they are the glue of any dungeon or lair
>>
>>22055733
oh good, I though you were one of those Clive Barker fanboys for a minute. But yeah the claw marks I'm down with
>>
>>22055733
So scarification. You should have said so
>>
>>22055738
Yeah, kobolds are the grease that makes a dungeon run smoothly. Sometimes literally.
>>
>>22055715
Elves make better half-dragons than kobolds.

But why not both ?
>>
For the record, we are in auto sage now.
>>
>>22055826
>In Faerûn, first you get the elves, then you get the kobolds, and then you get the dungeon.

how do we save thread?
>>

It already is.

New thread.
