Long time no see, Asslings.

I hadn't intended for my short break to last a little over 2 weeks, but it did. Probably for the best, if you ask me.

At any rate, I wanted to do something a little different to get us started again. I've been talking about doing a recap and a synopsis for newer readers or those who might be curious about this mess. So, let's get into that. I've got plenty of material pre-typed, so this first chunk should go by pretty quickly, while I continue to prepare the second half.

Also, any questions, comments, concerns, propositions, suggestions, or whatever.. Feel free to post them. I'll try to respond as I'm going along.

>A brief Wizard Curse: Plump Grabbable Ass Quest

This initially started as a strange take on a shitty thread, where someone made a troll thread about their bigender half-kender half-drow. I read it as "big-ender" and made a joke about a character turned into a girl with a plump, grabbable ass. Someone followed up by making the joke that it would become a 407 part quest. Interest seemed positive, so I started kicking around the idea.

A few days later, I attempted to run the first Ass Quest. It failed miserably. Too many rolls, too much chaos, then it got deleted. Second attempt went far better and we actually finished a thread. Part 2 was immediately shut down and I had to spend some time negotiating with one of the mods.

And now, here we are. Ass Quest is more or less sanctioned as an acceptable quest on /tg/, with certain exceptions. Some of the saucier scenes have been labeled as "fade to blacks" and are posted in a pastebin, where they technically don't break any of /tg/'s SFW rules.

We're currently 16 parts deep, which is about 6 threads more than I ever expected to get to. I have some sort of audience, surprisingly, and only deal with the occasional backlash for a story about transformation and corruption and evil ass-magic .

Since it's worth mentioning, a few good things did come from those first few threads.

The name Roger Smith was the most popular choice, which was good, because the highest roll before that was "Dingus McFist" if I recall correctly. As a polite nod to that roll, Mr. Brogart calls Roger Dingus, as an endearing sort of nickname.

Also, the idea of limiting Dice rolls to a certain number and DC was created to address the issue of too many dice rolls.

Ass Quest takes place in a purposefully vague fantasy-ish type world. Magic is real, monsters are around, there are bandits, Kings, Kingdoms, Wizards, and all that typical sort of stuff.

Being a cliché fantasy world, you've got your standard races, like Humans, Elves, and Dwarves, but there's also Giants, Greenskins, Tau, Tama, and Asurans. Giants are humanoids renowned for their strength and size, often ranging from 10 to 15 feet tall. The Greenskins are a warlike tribe that incorporate multiple species under their flag, including Orcs, Ogres, Trolls, and Goblins.

Tau come in a variety of sizes and shapes, usually determined by their caste, but typically aren't too much taller than average humans. Their society is highly technology advanced, but somehow completely devoid of any magical ability.

Tama are small mechanic beings, usually only 2 to 3 feet tall, often identified by the tall flags they carry around to be noticed, and thus not stepped on, in crowds. Not much is known about where they came from or how they work.

Asurans are a race of multi-armed humanoids who are known for their temper and their affinity for combat. They directly link value in society to their number of arms. The lowliest citizens have 4, while the nobility and royalty are said to have a dozen or more.

Our story starts in an unnamed small farming village, somewhere between some of the larger major cities. This is the town where Roger was born and raised by his parents, who picked the place because it was quiet and peaceful, but not cut off from the rest of the world. Even in their retirement, being located so close to the forest means that they are still occasionally needed to ward off monsters.

In this world, Monsters lie somewhere between naturally occurring animals, and dangerous aberrations. Every society seems to have different standards for which ones are which, but the ever present threat of these unnatural creatures is universally understood.

Since there are monsters acting as an ever-present threat, some decide to take up professional adventuring, which mostly involves traveling the world and getting into and out of trouble, in the name of adventure and a fistful of coins. Many impulsive and reckless young adults become adventurers hoping to find their fortune and glory in the world. Some are successful.

To help more be successful, some retired adventurers have created schools to train and prepare would-be adventurers for the world, for a reasonable price.

Only a few days journey away from Roger's hometown is the famous Bridge City of Arisca. Called so because it sits atop a massive natural bridge, woven together from a special variety of tree and plant-life which spans the massive valley that separates two large, and sometimes opposing, nations. Arisca is a lively city, known for catering the passing adventurers and travelers and its markets where you can find just about anything you could ever want.

Much of our story, thus far, has taken place in Arisca. Roger gathered his party and traveled there in search in help from any skilled Wizards who had set up shop there.

Didn't save any. Long and short was that Ass Quest was accused of being ERP, which it wasn't. While it may have been about a guy getting turned into a girl, it was still more or less just a generic fantasy quest at the time. I've apparently stayed on their good sides by keeping the more "E" parts to the Fade to Black pastebin.

Roger Dorothy Smith
AKA Dingus, R. Dorothy, Princess, Darling, Sweetheart, Madame, Girl

Roger is our main character. Originally a young man of 19 years, living in his hometown with his parents, saving up money by working as a Merchant's Assistant so he could afford tuition for an Adventurers' College. Since his Father is Human and his Mother is an Elf, he is technically a half-elf.

Roger is currently female and stuck wearing a heavily cursed dress, which is possessed by the spirit of the woman who first wore the cursed dress. While the Dress does supply Roger with the magical power of a master Wizard and a natural inclination towards transformative magic, it is also constantly pressing on Roger's mind and whispering in her ear, urging her to do terrible, magical things to herself and the people around her.

In addition, Roger is unable to remove the dress at all. It does keep her clean and offers some small amount of convenience by changing form, somewhat to the whims of the wearer, although the results are always hyper-feminine or outright degrading.

Roger himself is a clever young person, with a very practical personality. He prefers study, preparing, and planning to rushing in. The few years he spent working as Mr. Brogart's assistant gave him some insight into business and economics.

Since becoming trapped in The Dress, Roger has also found that he has a natural knack for magic, in general. In a little over a week, Roger had already managed to learn a number of spells that he never would have mastered, if not for the immense reserves of magical energy granted by wearing the dress and the tutelage from his familiar, Millia Lili.

On top of all those problems, Roger is also plagued by the possibility that the Fae may have their eye on her. While traveling through the forest, she crossed paths with the Fae Procession. While nothing terrible happened, they did gift her with a wreath of strange purple flowers, which may be the source of a 3rd voice in her head, which seems to want her to behave with royal dignity and regality, at all times.

Roger received some combat training using staves and polearms from her parents. Currently, she's using a Halberd that was offered as a gift by her boss. The influences of the dress have led her to using it in a rather strange way, which could be equated to a sort of pole dancing...

Roger's Parents
Valeria Smith and Robert Ross Smith
AKA Mom and Dad

Retired Adventurers who settled down while they were still alive and well enough to do so, after having their own share of adventures.

Robert is a highly skilled Druid with a Mastery of Nature magic and a skill for alchemy and potion making, thanks to his botanical knowledge. He's also a wickedly talented painter who uses his wife as his muse. He likes to immortalize certain memories with paintings.

Valeria was once a soldier in the Elven Military. After serving her mandatory tour, she took to traveling and eventually crossed paths with Robert, who helped to save her from a group of monsters. She is equally trained in spear and hand to hand combat, as well as stealth reconnaissance, hunting, and combat tactics. She can also cook quite well.

Not wanting to send their only child off without some reassurance that he'd be safe, they accompanied Roger on the first leg of his journey, escorting him to Arisca and making sure that he'd be able to get the help from the Wizards that he needed. They eventually decided that Roger, despite his inexperience and the many curses plaguing him, was as ready to set out on his own and see this quest to its end without them holding his hand.

They believe that if he's going to be a proper adventurer, that he needs to do things for himself. Now that Roger has found an apprenticeship under one of the best Wizards in the city, they've decided to return him and patiently await his return, however long that may take.

(Pic not quite related...)

Nadia Addedien
AKA The Crazy Ass-Wizard, Nadia the Capacious, Nadia the Immeasurable

Kind of the reason any of this shit happened at all. Nadia has been wearing the Cursed Dress for years and is quite insane because of it. Lacking the willpower that Roger apparently had, she became a slave to the lurid and lewd urges of the dress.

We only briefly had a trip within her mind, finding that Nadia used to be Nathan, a man similarly cursed to have the body of a woman. He sought out the dress, believing it to hold the power he needed to change back, but ended up spending the next several years wandering the world causing untold amounts of trouble, and generally just being a crazed bint.

After mistakenly believing that Roger wanted to change clothes, she trapped him with the dress, not even understanding the severity of the gesture, at the time. She currently resides with Mr. Brogart, the Item Shop owner.

Also, she's got the biggest hips and ass you're likely to see anywhere. Years of abusing magic on herself and others has left her with an almost unnaturally curvy figure.

Millia Lili
AKA The Succubut

Millia is a Succubus that Roger accidentally summoned while trying to burn off extra magic which was keeping her awake. Without knowing what she was doing, Roger tried to summon a familiar, and instead got a lesser Demon from the Infernal plane.

Millia too an immediate interest in Roger, having never been summoned by an amateur with such astounding magical power. Roger, not knowing what else to do, told Millia everything about the dress and her curse and everything else. Instead of taking advantage of Roger right there, Millia instead chose to help her, showing her how to seal the contract and officially make Millia a familiar.

In exchange for Magic lessons, help with her curse, and giving up the Dress to Millia once Roger is free of it, Millia agreed to help Roger and her descendants for as long as she is able, just as long as Roger acts as her playmate.

Millia has been disguising herself, ever since, as a human Archaeologist with an interest in magical artifacts, like The Dress. She's a silver-tongued deceiver who has been able to maintain her story without any issue, so far.

In addition to having a variety of Succubus powers, which allow her to disguise and alter her form, Millia seems to have a vast amount of knowledge about the world, history, magic, and a great many other subjects. Her level of knowledge seems worrisome at times.

Despite any worries that Roger or others may have, Millia has yet to betray or harm Roger in any way. She's been nothing but gentle and supportive, so far.
>>
>>23092013
By that, I meant that the story has almost exclusively followed Roger's point of view.
I don't think it would hurt to switch things around more often, though.

Hometown Folks
Mr. Brogart, Roger's Dwarven Boss and owner of one of the only item shops in town. He had all of his facial hair blown clean off by the Crazy Ass-Wizard, whom, after seemingly losing her powers, he took on as his new assistant, since Roger was leaving. He's a stern man and a shrewd dealer, but he's not without his soft side. He cares and worries for Roger.

Roger's Friends, John, Gil, and Jacqueline. Local kids, around Roger's age who also live in town. None of them have the adventurous streak that Roger' does, however. During one final farewell round of drinks, Gil attempted to cop a feel on Roger, which resulted in him get a jolt of magic that turned his clothes into a dress.

There are other folks in town, but none that have had any meaninful interactions with Roger, outside of a Town Guard who ogled Roger's female body a little too overtly, and a guy at the local tavern who wanted to cop a feel on Roger, since they were both guys and Roger shouldn't mind, by his reasoning. He got knocked on his ass with a bit of magic for that.

Mr. Gulcano
A wealthy Merchant who trades with the surrounding towns, then sells their goods at the Arisca Bazaar. He struck up a contract, recruiting Roger and her party to help escort his goods through the dangerous forest, in exchange for getting Roger and audience with two of Arisca's prestigious Wizards.

He's a fairly kind anf reasonable man, as far as his interactions with Roger go. Even though he continually suggested that Roger give up her quest to change back and break her curse, in exchange for a cushy job running one of his stores, he's not been forceful. Although, some of the men who work under him, have a far less positive opinion of him as a boss.

Fortunately, Mr. Gulcano kept good on his word, and by exchanging a few favors, allowed Roger to meet with Masters Ocotob and Rossellini, so she might discuss seeking help from the two of them.

Danny
AKA The Catgirl

Danny was originally a forest bandit who made the mistake of trying to rob and have his way with Roger while she was trying to relieve herself. Roger snapped and gave into the Dress, which decided to punish the dirty cutpurse by turning him into an overly-voluptuous catgirl in an elaborate Princess gown.

Danny later tracked down Roger in Arisca after fleeing from her old bandit crew after they tried to have their way with her. After some convincing and a little threatening, she agreed to join Roger on her quest, on the condition that Roger eventually fixes the mess she started.

Later, while relaxing at a Tavern, Danny decided to try and flirt some drinks out of an Asuran who misinterpreted her advances as romantic. Despite being warned of this, she played along and started up a sort of relationship with him, much to Roger's surprise.

Danny and Hekaton are practically inseparable. When asked about it, Danny admitted to feeling strange about the whole thing, since she was originally a guy, but at the same time, she realized what a horrible person she used to be, and would rather it be this way, than going all the way back. Rather than being hung up on her previous identity, like Roger, Danny is embracing what she has in the present.

Currently, the lie Roger is telling everyone, is that the only magic she accidentally did to Danny was giving her the cat ears and tails and habit of adding 'nya' to her sentences.

Her previous life as a bandit sharpened her stealth and acrobatic skills considerably, on top of allowing her to practice the art of theft as much as she wanted. Even though she can be something of a lazy glutton, she is still a fierce combatant.

Hekaton
AKA Hek

Hekaton is a six-armed Asuran Pilgrim, which mostly just means that he's searching the world for things to fight so he can reach enlightenment. The philosophy his people follow allow explains that feeling the world is to know it. By attaining additional arms through study and rigorous practice, they are able to better understand and experience the world around them, thus aiding them on the path to enlightenment.

Hekaton initially met Roger while she was working at the Bazaar and knocked someone out for her. They reunited at the Feisty Penguin Tavern when Danny decided to try and flirt some drinks out of him and Roger rushed over to make sure Danny wasn't about to start a fight with someone from a race known for being temperamental and prone to starting fights. Lcukily, he seemed to take an immediate liking to Danny and her feisty and straightforward ways.

His six arms only make him slightly more important than the average Asuran citizen, but he's well-practiced with them, making him a fierce opponent, even when out-numbered. He's been helping the party train on occasion, lending his expertise to help them shape up as warriors and adventurers

Since his pilgrimage does not have an explicit destination, Hekaton is currently content with hanging around with Roger and his party, and fooling around with Danny in his spare time. It can be assumed that he also likes being constantly surrounded by beautiful women who also give him the chance to train against multiple fairly skilled opponents.

While he may not have any direct loyalty to Roger or her quest, since he has no experience with magic or breaking curses, he does not seem to mind helping where he can, or at least tagging along, since things around Roger are so interesting.

The Mysterious Yurara
AKA The Mysterious Yurara

Not much is known about Yurara, other than the fact that he might be some kind of Demon, he knows Millia, and despite looking incredibly female and young, he is neither of those.

Most distinct about Yurara is his third eye, which he typically keeps hidden beneath his hair. It might possibly the source of his power, seeing as he only reveals it before doing something strange.

Yurara was who Millia took Roger to in order to get some help with the Dress. Using unknown powers, Yurara was able to let Roger communicate with the Spirit that is trapped within the Dress and also allow Roger to see the possible outcomes of certain choices she had already made, and what that might have meant. The results were terrifying and shocking, but also greatly helpful in deciding the next steps to take.

Millia briefly mentioned in an off-hand comment that her relationship with Yurara has something to do with her extensive knowledge.

The Dress and Lucile Catenza

Lucile is the woman who originally wore the dress, back when it was made hundreds of years ago. She was once an incredibly talented young Wizard who wished to join the Consortium, an organization of the most powerful Wizards in the land. Instead of accepting her, they enslaved her with a cursed garment, which was meant to put her in her place. The Consortium was not the most progressive group of biggoted old men.

The dress forced her to submit to their whims and change to suit their fantasies. Over time she tried to undo the many enchantments binding her to their will, but she gave in to the stress and strain and passed before she could break free. Unfortunately, the bindings that kept her from escaping in life still held her spirit in death.

Things have been looking up, however, as Roger's interest in freeing the both of them has alleviated some of the torments of being a soul bound to a cursed dress. With what little control she has, she's been doing everything she can to make things easier for Roger, in hopes that the foolish kid might be able to finish what she started.

Though she won't admit it, and it's not known to anyone else, Lucile's tampering with the Dress made it worse in some ways. Less stable and predictable. It's part of the reason why it's so inconsistent and sometimes begging for Roger to debase herself and other times begging for her to do terrible things to others.

The Dress itself was meant to be something to please everyone else, at the cost of the victim's dignity and sanity. With a few commands and orders, the wearer could become your perfect partner. It's not an especially nice item.

And all the rest

Taiva

A young elf librarian who caught Roger's eye. Not much is known about her yet, but one Roger gets set up in Tom's workshop, she's supposed to go on a sort of date with her. Although, she might not know that Roger intends for it to be a date.

The Lady Pon and Sir Shears

The Tau tailor who made a dress for Danny and a Tama Stylist who cut Roger's hair.

Pon is a skilled artisan who deals in the latest fashions and the finest fabrics. Roger was able to barter with her, exchanging a few coins and the scraps of the gown Danny had ruined in exchange for a new outfit for Danny. She's also a very hands-on type of person and makes no qualms whatsoever about examining the figures of her customers and friends.

Sir Shears is a knee-high knight that wields a very large pair of scissors that can split into a pair od dual blades. He also carries a variety of styling equipment with him for cutting hair. Even though his kind don't actually grow any hair, his skills are in high demand amongst some very influential people.

Augustus Ocotob
One of the wizards that Roger met with when seeking help. He's more of a bureaucrat than a Wizard, but his greatest strength is his immense network of world-wide contacts and his high social standing. He's also the writer of what may be one of the most boring books ever written.

Thomas Rossellini
The other wizard that Roger met with. Kind of a slovenly, laidback, unprofessional type. The exact opposite of Ocotob. He is a Master Enchanter who runs Arisca's most successful magic item shop. He's an intensely skilled Wizard, but his sloppy demeanor makes that hard to believe.

When given the choice between Ocotob and Rossellini as tutors, Roger chose Rossellini because he seemed to offer the best chance of breaking free from the Dress.

I don't have any solid numbers, or any numbers at all, but I'd say Humans, Elves, and Dwarves are the most numerous, due to their ability to live just about where-ever they please.

At one point, I think I made a joke about Southern Dwarves who brew tequila, so there's that too. I imagine they grow comically huge moustaches and wear sombreros, instead of beards.

The Greenskin tribes would have a few small corners of the world. They don't get too large because they are always fighting and getting killed in glorious combat.

The Tau have a large empire, but is generally peaceful, and tends to include many of the other species, because they are inclusive like that. They are a large species, population-wise, but not as wide-spread as others.

The Tama are the opposite. Their kind have a relatively tiny population that is constantly moving around. There are large Tama caravans that move around the world, though.

No one knows where the Tama came from. They just sort of showed up one day, without a homeland or anything.

The Asurans are somewhat isolated on their own island nation, which spans a few large islands. They tend to be insular because they don't get along with most other governments who don't like settling political disputes with fist-fights.

Giants travel in nomadic tribes. Their ever-present problem of being large in a medium world means that they can only find a few places where they can comfortably co-exist.

I forgot a couple..

Arthur and Jultun

Arthur is a half-giant who was Robert's original Adventuring buddy, and the one who convinced him to romantically pursue Valeria.

Even though Roger's parents retired from adventuring, he kept going and is now training his own son, Jultun, to be an adventurer as well.

He's tactless and blunt, at times, but he's also a sentimental type, who will gladly while away the nights recounting the good ole days, shedding a few overly-emotional tears over triumphs and failures past.

Jultun is more reserved than his Father. He's training to become a powerful warrior because he wishes to travel the world, helping those who cannot help themselves.

He seems to have taken a liking to Roger, despite knowing that Roger is a boy cursed into a girl, but it hasn't moved too far past occasionally peeking her way and making small talk.

With Roger's parents leaving, and Arthur and Jultun remaining in the city, they've promised to look after Roger and back her up as necessary. They aren't quite members of the party, but they are close.

So, this should be somewhat easier to explain with everything else I've posted. Less time spent explaining the finer details, more time spent just expositoning story.

PART 1
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21216318/
The Epic tale of Ass Quest begins with Roger, enjoying a fine summer day in his quiet little town, sweeping the storefront where he works, just because sweeping the storefront gives that authentic item shop feel to their business.

Roger's peaceful day gets interrupted by the loud grumbling of a strange woman wearing an extravagant dress. She walks straight into him, twice, and then proceeds to berate him for getting in her way. When Roger tries to talk back, she shoves him out of the way, shocking him with some kind of magic spell.

Initially, Roger is confused and dazed, believing she just cast some sort of killing curse on him, not yet realizing he's been turned female. It takes her some time before she fully realizes what's happened and that the crazed wizard lady is insider her store.

Roger rushes to her Boss's aid by clubbing the insane woman over the head with her broom and briefly incapacitating her while she was busy arguing with Mr. Brogart over the price of candy.

The two of them tie her up and try to get some answers, only to find she's just as crazy as she seemed before, now believing that she's in the middle of some lewd act of bondage. Roger tries to persuade her to undo the curse, but she doesn't understand.

At her Boss's suggestion, Roger heads out to find a guard, one who ogles her a alittle more than she'd like, and heads home to get some help from her parents.

She finds them in the middle of another of her Father's paintings with her Father painting her Mother in the nude. The are surprised by Roger's change, but can't offer any help with the curse. Instead, he offers a Potion of Clarity to help treat the Wizard's insanity
>>

Roger returns to the store to find that the Wizard Lady had someone slipped her bonds, now surrounded by two guards and your boss, thinking she was in the middle of an orgy of some sort.

Roger offers her the potion, which she drinks without question. For the briefest moment, she seems lucid again. From the Wizard's perspective, Nadia's perspective, she believes that Roger is trying to tell her to give her the dress. So she does.

Roger is draped in the over-sized garment, which magically fits itself around her much less impressive measurements, while Nadia is now wearing Roger's shop assistant uniform, which is about a dozen sizes too small for her.

Roger is filled with newfound magical power. Instead of trying to force Nadia to undo the damages, she attempts to turn herself back to normal, but only manages to make her own butt slightly more plump.

Roger snaps and begins beating on the Wizard with her broom, demanding her manhood back. This panics the town guard, who attempt to hold her back. She deftly pries their grip away with the broom and flees the store, instinctively using the broom to fly away before things get any worse.

Roger returns home, trying to process how things just managed to get infinitely worse, now that she's cursed, stuck in an also-cursed dress, and possessing terrible magic that apparently can't be used to turn back to normal.

She enters her home, where she finds her Mother preparing a meal. Roger breaks down and begins to cry into her shoulder, expressing all her worries and panic about her situation and how she couldn't get the Wizard to turn her back.

Part 1 ends with Roger's Mother setting her in front of a mirror to get a good look at her new form. Roger notes that the dress, when tailored to her new body, does a poor job of emphasizing her smaller curves. The faint feelings of jealousy and envy worry her.

PART 2
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21317341/

Our Story continues with Roger letting the full extent of her transformation sink in, while also realizing that when Nadia, the Crazy Ass-Wizard, swapped their clothes, she not only took her clothes.. but her underwear too. She also realizes that she's been running around in heels this whole time, as if it was completely natural.

Roger's Mother breaks the silence by telling Roger to burn the image of her current self into her brain, because it will keep her going when they are out questing for a solution.

Roger is rightfully surprised by the idea and starts to get very excited. She'd never had a chance to quest for anything before.

Roger's Mother offers her some old armor to wear and tells her to remove the dress, but Roger is met with a strange feeling of reluctance, and starts to hear a voice in her head, urging her not to give up the Dress's magical power.

Instead of removing the Dress, it automatically absorbs and integrates the dusty of leather armor into the feminine design of the dress. This surprises both Roger and her Mother, who had intended for their quest to be small and simple. Instead, with the Dress having a mind of its own, things are much more complicated.

After some discussion, Roger decides to head to the local tavern with her Mother to try and find anyone who might be able to help them and give them a lead for their quest.

Some of the other patrons weren't too helpful, with some toting the usual cliche stories about burned down villages and having to collect magic items from around the world. Others, like the local men, simply wanted to tease Roger, having heard about her predicament from the town guard. Even though the voice in her head wanted her to, Roger resisted the urge to do anything terrible to the men.

Eventually, Roger finds Mr. Gulcano, a wealthy Merchant who claims he might know a few Wizards who could help with Roger's curses.

Mr. Gulcano offers Roger the chance to give up on the quest before it begins and take up the cushy life of being a cute young shop owner, but Roger declines. Instead, Roger discusses the option of being Gulcano's bodyguard and escorting him to his destination, in exchange for the favor of meeting his Wizard contacts.

The deal seems good, but Roger insists on getting a proper work contract drafted before they agree to anything. Roger and his Mother leave the tavern, feeling more confident about this quest.

They return home and share a meal before going to bed. Roger realizes that he can't sleep because of all of the pent up magic, now coursing through her. She decides to attempt to summon a familiar, assuming that the process should burn off a decent amount of magic power.

Instead of a familiar, a Succubus steps forth from Roger's crude summoning circle. She even comments on the poor quality of the circle and how it doesn't even bind her or protect Roger from her. Instead of just attacking, she asks Roger what she wants.

Having read or heard somewhere that you shouldn't lie to Demons, Roger tells the succubus everything. How it's her first day using magic and how she's wearing a cursed dressed and how she's actually a guy, and everything else.

The succubus, Millia, agrees to help Roger, and two of them set the terms of their contract, with Roger agreeing to be her playmate and Millia agreeing to help and tutor Roger, then sealing it in blood.

They spend the rest of the night with Millia gently exploring Roger's body in the first Fade to Black session ( http://pastebin.com/JHDhYvVU )

The next day, Roger finds that Millia is no longer in her room. She stows her worries for the time being and begins to prepare for her quest. She stops at Brogart's Item shop to stock up, only to find the Crazy Ass-Wizard out front, doing her job.. poorly.

Roger ignores her and proceeds inside to gather some things.

Mr. Brogart expresses some concern, but Roger assures him that things are okay. She purchases some much needed goods for her quest. As a gift and a gesture of good faith, Mr. Brogart offers a free weapon for Roger.

After some deliberating, Roger decides on a Halberd, deeming a polearm to be the best choice for her. As a final touch, Mr. Brogart drafts a work contract for Roger.

Millia, disguised as a human, interrupts Roger's conversation with Mr. Brogart, asking if she's the girl who got the cursed dress. She explains that she's been tracking that magic item and might be able to help.

Once out of the store, Millia explains that it is in Roger's best interest if she pretends to be someone who isn't a succubus.

Roger brings Millia back to his home where he introduces her to her parents as a potential party member. Millia wins them over with some flawless lies, and some much needed information on the Dress. She claims that it's an ancient artifact that will drive the wearer insane, but that it cannot be outright destroyed without harming the wearer and everyone around them.

She claims to have a friend in Arisca, the nearby city where they would be heading on their quest, who might be able to help. They accept her as part of their traveling party.

Part 2 draws to a close with Roger stopping at the tavern to finish the deal with Mr. Gulcano. They negotiate the final details of the contract, with Roger offering her party of 4 to guard his Caravan and a small favor, while Mr. Gulcano offers Roger an audience with two of Arisca's most famous Wizards.

Things end with them each signing the contract. Roger signs as "R. Dorothy Smith" using her middle name instead.

PART 3
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21436550/

Our story picks up with Roger deciding to gather his local friends for one last drink before he departs in the morning. John, Gil, and Jacqueline are initially surprised by Roger's appearance, though some had already heard the gossip.

They share a few drinks and Gil starts to creep closer to Roger, urging her to tell them if she'd fooled around at all with her new body. In her embarrassment and drunkeness, Roger decides to use her magic, jolting Gil with some of the Dress's magic and turning his clothes into a very feminine ensemble while leaving him completely male.

Roger, having gotten too drunk, thanks to her now smaller body, gets taken home by Millia. Along the way, Roger asks to learn more magic, this time wanting to learn some illusionary spells after having learned a Silence Ward from Millia last night.

The two of them wrap up the night, curled up in Roger's bed, basking in the warmth of an illusionary fireplace.

In the morning, Millia is surprising still around this time and nudges Roger awake. Millia slips out the window and leaves Roger to get prepared for her journey.

Roger attempts to check her appearance with an illusionary mirror, only to find that it reflects strange images. One of her female self, but far more sexualized and curvy, another of her male self, but sickly and weak, and a last image of herself, but seemingly demonic.

After some toying around, Roger eventually figures out how to alter the basic basic of the Dress and turns it into a more travel friendly skirt with the pieces of leather armor for extra protection.

With everything finally in order, Roger assembles his party at the edge of the city to meet with Mr. Gulcano. They set out without much fanfare and begin their journey. Three days of travel sit between them and their destination of Arisca.

Roger passes the time on their journey by asking about Arisca and what sort of city it is. Their conversation is cut short by a band of bugbears.

The fight is brief, but brutal. Roger is knocked off balance by the Bugbear, but aided by the dress, allowing her to turn around the attack and swing herself around the shaft of her polearm and kick it in the face. Millia aids by driving it back with whipstrikes, allowing Roger to lang the kill blow by thrusting the head of her halberd into its throat.

At her Mother's advice, Roger's party picks up the pace, not wanting to attract the rest of the potential pack of bugbears. Roger has a brief conversation about the fight, seeking approval from her parents on the matter. They tell her she did well enough, but that she needs to fight smarter and kill more quickly when dealing with monsters.

When sundown comes, the party pulls to the side and sets up camp for the night. They briefly exchange stories with Mr. Gulcano who is eager to talk about his past and also explain that he expects Roger to act as his mascot girl for a day to fulfill her part of their contract.

Since Roger is on second watch, she retires to her tent first. Millia briefly sneaks in and cuddles with her. Given their circumstances, they don't have the time to fool around just yet. Not without running the risk of being caught.

Soon though, Roger has to take her turn at watch. She sits with Millia and her Mother, who insists she needs less sleep as an Elf.

Roger talks with her Mother for a short while about any feminine tips she might have before segueing the conversation into cursed and magic, which Millia has many stories about. She regales the two of them for a while with legends of depraved magic and ancient curses before telling them the supposed origin of the Dress.

According to Millia, the Dress was created over 400 years prior when a brilliant young woman attempted to join the Consortium, an organization of the most powerful wizards of the time. They balked at the idea of a woman as their equal, so they tricked her, by insisting they could join if she wore a sanctioned Consortium Uniform.. Which turned out to be the Cursed Dress that forced her to obey the whims of the Consortium Wizards.

The Dress drove her to an early death and the Consortium sealed away the twisted artifact, effectively hiding a very dark spot on the records of an otherwise illustrious organization.

Soon after, the morning came and Roger's party has set out again. Shortly into the day's journey, about half-way to their destination, the caravan pulled aside to gather water at a river. Roger took the opportunity to go and relieve herself in private..

Roger is attacked by a bandit from the treetops as soon as she gets alone. He very roughly manhandles Roger's body, enough for her to snap and hand over the magical reigns. The bandit gets promptly punished and turned into a very busty catgirl, complete with his own overly-floofy and frilly princess gown before fleeing in terror from Roger.

Roger quickly rejoins the rest of her party and has a private conversation with Millia, fearing that she was becoming the bad guy for using her magic like that.

At Millia's suggestion, she tells a slightly edited version of what had happened to her parents. She tells them that something frightened her in the woods and that she may have accidentally used magic on a creature that ran off. She then admits that she wanted to keep it secret because she was afraid that her parents would worry too much.

Part 3 wraps up with some more small talk, with Roger's Father commenting about the faint magical emanations he'd been feeling and musing that he would have loved to bring a canvas so he could paint a Mother-Daughter portrait with the forest as a backdrop.

PART 4
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21613439/

Roger's party retires for the night, now onto the last leg of their journey. One last day's travel and they will reach Arisca.

Roger spends some time at the campfire learning about the Wizards she is supposed to meet from Mr. Gulcano before resting for the night. In the morning they are off again without any other difficulties.

Things seem peaceful for a time, but Roger starts to realize that something is off. Roger's parents realize it at the same time. "Fae..."

Roger's Father shouts something at Mr. Gulcano's horse, sending them down the trail at full speed and getting them out of danger. He commands Roger to kneel and keep her head down at a Parade of strange, otherworldly creatures begin to march through the forest. The Dress urges Roger to do something to assert her dominance and power in the face of these haughty outsiders, but she resists and holds back.

When they've passed, Roger finds that the Fae have left her a gift. A wreath of purple flowers on her head. According to her Father, purple flowers are symbol of royalty, and a sign of respect or admiration.

They rejoin Gulcano's caravan further down the road and continue through the last few hours of their journey, eventually reaching Arisca by nightfall.

The city of Arisca is bustling with activity, even late at night. Roger marvels at all the strange people of races she'd never seen before in her small hometown, many of them adventurers, by her reckoning.

Rather than spend the night sleeping in the wilderness, Roger's party is invited to stay in Mr. Gulcano's manor. After enjoying a nice meal and failing entirely to hit on the maids, Roger and Millia retire for the night to their own private room in the manor, enjoying the luxury for the night, while they have it.

Before sleeping for the night, Millia teaches Roger about temporary and limited magic, then follows it up with another session of playing around, after going so many nights without so much as a kiss.

Bringing us to Fade to Black 2 ( http://pastebin.com/2UdLdLiv ) If you read through the threads, you may find a different version of this session. It is the terrible version.

In the morning, Roger awakens to find the effects of last night's play session had some minor side-effects, leaving her with a slightly enhanced bust and rear, much to her dismay.

Before leaving for the bazaar to finish her end of the deal with Mr. Gulcano, Millia teaches her a few more cantrips to help her out. Simple for aiding performances, mostly.

Once Roger arrives at the bazaar, she dives right into her work, using the cantrips she learned to increase the volume of her voice and flawless deliver poetic praise for the perfect produce that Gulcano had procured to draw in a crowd.

Her efforts do a great job of attracting and pulling in customers as the good started to go quickly. Roger thrives amongst the energetic crowd, getting swept up in the fun of it all.

An overly eager customer practically shoves her over, in the process of slapping her on the ass, sending her into an Asuran man who was amongst the crowd. By quickly apologizing and offering him an apple, she managed to avoid further trouble, and the offender received a solid punch to the face.

Part 4 draws to a close with Roger and Millia taking a break off to the side, while all the excitement and momentum she built up helps to move more and more of the goods. The two hatch the plan to sell the rest of the supplies before noon, giving Mr. Gulcano no choice by the let her go for the day. After all, no product to sell means no need for a mascot girl to prance around the crowd to drum up sales.

PART 5
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21646976/

We resume with Roger and Millia still watching the bazaar from the sidelines, plotting their next move.

Roger is caught off guard by a Tama who seems interested in the produce to refine into vegetable oil. After helping him purchase some of the goods he needs, she gets the idea to capitalize on their need for ingredients to refine into vegetable oil and has Gulcano and his men set up a specialty stall for the Tama customers. In the process, learning that they use supposedly use vegetable oil the way that most people use soap.

Afterwards, fearing that the momentum has slowed too much, Roger begins to work on her neck move to draw in the crowds and move the last amounts of Gulcano's stock.

At Millia's suggestion, Roger begins to climb up on some nearby crates, so she can more easily be seen. Millia wanted Roger to dance for the crowd, but Roger refused sternly, not wanting to debase herself, instead choosing to use the vantage point to better address the crowds.

Just as it seems the dress was about to take over, another voice called out to Roger, insisting that dancing for the crowd was beneath her station and that this is not who she is meant to be.

Turning around the magical momentum built by the dress, Roger releases 3 overcharged cantrips and addresses the crowd from her stack of crates, basking in a magical spotlight, voice booming across the plaza, flawlessly commanding the citizens of Arisca to come and purchase the last of Gulcano's limited inventory.

Just as she is relaxing and coming down from her sudden surge of dignity and power, an angry voice calls out to Roger from the crowd.

The Bandit-turned-catgirl from the forest had returned. Her clothes shredded, dirty, and her body dirty and worn out. She angrily demanded to be turned back so she could get back to her old crew and start robbing and stealing again...

Roger attempts to hide from her at first, but Millia advises her to see what the bandit wants, since she's not likely to try anything violent in the middle of such a large crowd.

Despite being so absolutely livid and angry with Roger, the poor bandit seem to be on the verge of tears the entire time. Roger admits to wanting to help her, but asks to take the conversation elsewhere, first, so she can get her washed up and fed. Two things the bandits seemed to really need.

After tying up the loose ends with Mr. Gulcano and denying his offer to work as a shopkeep for him, Roger, Millia, and the Bandit take their conversation to a local establishment known as the Golden Scimitar.

After treating her to a meal, Millia and Roger help the bandit out of the remains of the dress and help to bathe her while they figure out what has her so frazzled, because Roger is intent on helping someone so much like herself; Another victim of cruel and careless use of magic.

After some coercing and scrubbing, the bandit, who goes by Dan, admits what has her so troubled. After fleeing from Roger and going back to her hideout, she got rather intimate in her new body with Oren, the co-leader of their bandit crew. Oren then offered her up to the rest of the crew as soon as he was done, betraying the brief moment of security and relief she felt.

Though Roger is sympathetic, there is still the issue that Danny was not a good person and that before being transformed, she did a ton of terrible things that deserve punishment. Roger offers her a chance at redemption, traveling at her side. If Danny eventually proves that she is worthy, then Roger will see about turning her back.

She eventually agrees, officially joining Roger's party. The hope is that Roger can rub off on her as a good influence and that she'll remain a part of the group as the party's rogue.

The party make a return to the bazaar with Danny in tow.

Covered in only a few stray scraps from her old dress and a heavy cloak, Roger and Millia decide to find a new dress for her. After some browsing, they come upon the stall of a Tau Tailor, who is selling the latest exotic fashions from her homeland. (Which, in this case, are the fantasy equivalent of the cheongsam, or stereotypical china dress, if you prefer)

In exchange for the high quality fabric from Danny's old dress and a few coins, the tailor prepares a full outfit for Danny. A black and gold ensemble with some loose trousers to match, fitted to her exaggerated figure, which the Tau woman is more than happy to explore and measure for her.

With Danny fully clothed and taken care of, the three of them resume browsing the Bazaar for a while, take note of all the interesting and unique wares on display around them.

Eventually, Roger reunites with his parents, who have found an inn to stay. Things draw to a close as the details are resolved with Roger informing Mr. Gulcano that she and her party will be staying at the Feisty Penguin Tavern and Inn.

PART 6
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21754702/

Our depraved tale resumes with our party of Roger, Millia, Danny, and Roger's Parents finishing out their day at the bazaar, browsing and perusing the many stalls. For the time being, Roger and Millia have been passing off Danny as one of Millia's friends.

Along the way, Roger purchases a blank journal and a magic quill, partly hoping to record the details of her first quest, both for posterity, and just in case something terrible befalls her and she ends up like Nadia, the Crazy Ass-Wizard Lady, and also because she wants her own spellbook. She also finds a shop selling wizard robes and hats, and receives one as a gift from her father, who's noticed her sudden interest in magic, to which Roger admits that she's not a very physical sort of adventurer like her Mother, but rather more of a magical one, like her Father.

With her new hat, Roger's takes the Fae Flower Wreath and wraps it around the base of the hat's steeple, so Roger can still wear both, since it's unwise to toss away a Fae gift.

After finding some suitable canvas for her Father's next painting, the party finally makes their way to the Feisty Penguin. On the night following the Bazaar, the place is absolutely packed. Roger drops off her things in the room her parents had rented before rejoining her party.

While on their way to the bar, Roger's parents are pulled aside by a giant of a man, Arthur, who is eager to catch up with his old friends. Roger splits off from her parents for the time being while they go to catch up with Arthur, after assuring them that Danny and Millia would be watching after her.

At the bar, one of Gulcano's workers recognizes Roger and offers her group a free round of drinks. They accept, but Millia makes sure that Danny only gets milk. Following a short conversation, she gets angry and heads off to flirt some free drinks out men, as long as it's okay for Roger to do so.

When they find Danny, she's sharing a drink with a large Asuran gentleman, the same one who Roger met earlier in the day. Sharing drinks the way they are, as Millia explains, is a gesture typical only shared between very close friend, soldiers going to war, and lovers. A fact which Danny doesn't seem to realize.

Roger and Millia join them, finding that even though he doesn't say much, that Hekaton is actually quite nice, especially to Danny. The 4 of them spend some time talking about Hekaton and what he's doing in Arisca, learning that he's stopped in the city to get his gauntlets repaired and that he's on a sort of pilgrimage to experience the world to seek philosophical and physical enlightenment.

At this point, Millia decides to introduce Hekaton to a new experience: Bodyshots. She has you demonstrate first by doing a shot of tequila off of Danny, much to the crowd's entertainment. For a brief moment, Roger wishes his parents could see her doing something so masculine. Following Roger, Hekaton gets his chance to take a shot off Danny, though he doesn't hesitate to do so, and Danny doesn't seem to hate it as much.

(Unfortunately, this Part ends suddenly because of a small debate that broke out. Some posters got overly invested in the idea of turning other characters into different kinds of monster girls, displeasing other posters and myself. The quest had to be put on hold for a short time so I could pound out that, fetishy or not, Ass Quest was not about amassing and molesting a monster girl harem.)

PART 7
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21780480/

Things pick up with a small recap of the previous thread, which ended prematurely. Roger, then Hekaton, taking a bodyshot off of Danny.

Roger is starting to feel rather tipsy now, after several drinks, but hasn't started worrying about that. Despite the crowd watching on eagerly, most are keeping their distance, due to Hekaton. It would be foolish to be near the guy with six arms if a bar fight broke out.

With things starting to pick up, Millia decides that it is Roger's turn, and with the help of 3 of Hekaton's arms, she is set up on the bartop and prepped for a bodyshot. Millia draws out the experience while the audience cheers her on, but the thrill is cut short whenA Arthur shows up, with her parents, to see what the commotion is.

Luckily, the situation is diffused quickly enough, with Roger playing it off a drunken playing around getting out of hand. Roger's parents offer Roger the chance to meet Arthur's son, but instead of going along with them, Roger decides to call it a night, having had more than her fill of booze already.

Danny, despite being warned what she might be getting into, decides to spend the night with Hekaton, leaving Roger and Millia alone. The two of them spend the remainder of the night cuddling and playing around before drifting to sleep.

In the morning, they find Danny sleeping on the floor. From what Roger can gather, she may have climbed her way up to their third floor room, snuck in, and even managed to steal a blanket off their bed without waking them. Most importantly, she actually came back.

Millia mentions that she kept an eye on Danny after Roger passed out. Danny actually went through with it and did spent the night with Hekaton. She didn't even take anything from her, according to Millia.

Millia offers to watch after Danny while Roger spends the morning getting her portrait painted with her Mother, as planned.

After getting some food with her Mother, Roger joins her parents on the rooftop, where her Father had already begun to set up his canvas.

Things go as planned for a short while. Roger is able to reduce the dress down to a modest white slip, demonstrating a kind of ease in controlling it that she didn't have before. She poses peacefully beside her Mother while her Father begins to capture the scene, painting in the forest from memory as the backdrop for their serene Mother-Daughter portrait.

The Dress finds it all too boring and starts to attempt something, welling up a massive amount of magic power, but Roger is able to maintain control. She turns the magic around and creates a massive illusionary image out of her memories of her travels through the forest. The level of detail and scale of it is unlike anything Roger has ever attempted before. A massive illusionary forest spread across Arisca's rooftops.

When the dusts settles and things calm down again, Roger is able to get her portrait painted without further interruption from the Dress. At least, not until they finish.

Obviously feeling quite angry at being ignored, the Dress recofigures itself into an enormous, cumbersome gown, complete with feminine jewelry, makeup, and high heels, which Roger can no longer walk naturally in. As a final act of revenge, the dress tries to lengthen Roger's hair, but she manages to resist, though she can no longer will the Dress to change shape.

Part 7 wraps up with Roger gathering her party so they can plan their next course of action. Danny is quite amused by Roger's new overly-elaborate appearance.

Roger finally reveals some of the secrets she's been keeping about the Dress. They way it whispers to her and acts on its own. Millia offers the explanation that those voices may belong to the spirit of the original wearer.. And also the problems that might occur if the Dress fell into the wrong hands, meaning they might not be able to just tell the Wizards about it directly.

Rogers parents are clearly more worried now than they ever were before, now that they know just how dangerous the dress can be.

Things ends with the party trying to decide on back up plans for approaching the Wizards, with Danny suggesting she could just sneak into their tower and steal the Dress back, if they attempt to keep it. Roger entertains the idea of just getting the dress exorcised, which seems like it might work, but it might also punish the spirit trapped within the dress, who is just as much of a victim as Roger is.

PART 8
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21825589/

After deliberating for a short while longer, Roger's party decides that their first course of action for dealing with the Dress, is to see if Millia's mysterious associate might be available to help them. Roger's Father splits to go purchase some ingredients to concoct some of the Potions of Clarity for Roger, just in case there are any more outbursts from the Dress.

Before leaving the tavern, Roger's Mother leaves directions with Arthur, so husband can find them if they aren't back in time. This gives Roger a chance to finally meet Jultun, Arthur's son, who doesn't say anything, but seems to eye Roger strangely. Roger imagines it must be because of her strange outfit.

On their way out, with Roger still learning how to walk in heels, the party crosses paths with Hekaton, who seems happy to see Danny again. Millia extends the invitation and he is eager to tag along, sticking close to Danny.

With everyone assembled, Millia leads the party through the city, down some back alleys and deserted roads until they reach a non-descript building with the words "The Den" burned into the door.

After a brief talk with the doorman, whom Millia addresses as Dino, they are eventually granted entrance to what appears to be a small hookah club, though it's mostly empty, except for a small gathering of sharply dressed people in one corner.

Roger is escorted to a private back room, where a single child-like person sits, reclined atop a pile of pillows. Millia addresses them as Yurara and they exchange affectionate greetings.

Eventually they sit and Roger does the same. Millia explains the details, asking if Yurara recalls the story of the Consortium and the dress, which she does, then explains that Roger is its latest victim and that she would like to possibly placate and negotiate with the spirit trapped within.

Yurara pulls her hood back, revealing a third eye, and asks Roger what troubles her.

Roger initially struggles with her words, but manages to explain that the dress has been trying to control her and make her be things that she isn't. That she can't stand being along to the ride in her own life. Worst of all, though, is that she pities the soul trapped in the dress, because she's suffering the same way.

When Roger finally stops and looks up, the whole room has gone black.

Through her mysterious powers, Yurara had summoned the spirit within Dress. Roger is caught by surprise when she finds the immediately recognizable woman standing behind her, wearing an identical dress to hers.

Roger attempts to introduce herself and apologize, but the spirit doesn't seem to like her at first. She introduces herself as Lucile Catenza and begins to explain that she is the one taking the brunt of the torture from the Dress because Roger insists on fighting her at every turn.

Roger and Lucile talk for a long time, trying to come to an understanding and eventually agreeing that they both want to be free from the Dress, but there's only so much that each of them can actually do to help one another.

Roger agrees to ease up on Lucile, when possible, while also figuring that she could make both of them less of a threat to each other if she could burn off the massive amount of magical energy.

Roger closes their conversation with a promise to help Lucile, that some day they'll both be free, and an apology and a hug, with Roger professing that she doesn't want to be Lucile's enemy.

With that, Yurara dispels the connection and the room goes back to normal. Roger hadn't even moved from where she was sitting. She congratulates Roger on making a very important first step and tells her that many dark paths are permanently closed to her now.

She produces a large bubble and offers Roger the chance to learn from the past as well, so she might learn from the mistakes that she didn't make.

Using her strange powers, Yurara presents three bubbles, which each offer a different image from a different point in time. The Bazaar, The Church, and The Den.

When shown each one, Roger simultaneously experiences the outcomes as if they were actually happened and also as an outside observer, watching the events unfold.

The possible outcome of the bazaar had roger failing to resist the dress while atop the crates. She plants her halberd into the crates and begins to poledance for the crowds, enticing them to watch her as her dance become more intense and her clothing shrinks away to reveal more and more.

The crowd begins to toss coins which causes a conflict within the Dress. Instead of giving in and pleasuring the audience, it fights back, creating a burst of magic which turns a portion of the audience into different kinds of monster girls, including making a buxom cowgirl out of the portly Mr. Gulcano.

She proceeds through the city, transforming and enthralling anyone in her way, eventually ending up at Gulcano manor, where she retires with a thrall herd of monstergirls of every possible size, shape, configuration, and color.

Roger only manages to regain control after the Dress and Lucile have exhausted themselves of magic and taken to napping in the Master Bedroom. The vision cuts short just as Milli and Roger's parents arrive to see what has happened.

Yurara explains that scenario was the worst possible outcome in a perfect storm of bad outcomes where Roger ahd failed at every turn to resist.

From that vision, Roger was able to glean that Lucile and the Dress are capable of taking total control over her body and that between them, there is enough magic to transform and alter dozens of people.. However, even in such a terrible scenario, they won't be able to permanently hold control over her.

The second vision brings Roger to a potential path she could have taken. The church where they would seek an exorcism to free Lucile's soul from the dress. However, Yurara informs Roger that without her taking the chance to try and communicate with Lucile, she was still highly adversarial and took advantage of the situation...

The vision was vague and more dreamlike, as Roger has not actually lived the memories to see what it was like, but the outcome was clear.

When the Priest attempted the ritual to exorcize Lucile, it knocked Roger's soul free as well. Lucile seized the opportunity and took over Roger's body, then sealed Roger in her place, within the dress.

For a short while, Roger understood what it is like to be trapped within the dress. To only exist as fabric and frills.. and worse still, to feel the unending demands of the dress, telling her to do all sorts of things she couldn't even begin to try, even if she was able to move.

Lucile, in Roger's body, leaves the church, running into Jultun along the way. She casually pawns Roger, as the Dress, off on him, switching clothes, and transforming him into a woman in the process, before flying off on Roger's halberd, as if it were a broom.

Yurara explains that Lucile would be long gone with your body by the time your figured out how to communicate with Jultun and explain what happened. Without Lucile's magic power, though, you were essentially helpless..

The vision recedes and Roger cannot help but find herself wracked with absolute terror and fear. She cries uncontrollably into Millia's shoulder for a time, regaining composure slowly as she tries to process what she just experienced.

Having learned that Lucile can possibly take over her body under the right conditions and that there exist the possibility of trapping someone else within the dress..

Part 8 draws to a close with Roger asking Yurara to show he what could have happened earlier that morning, during the portrait painting...

PART 9
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21853937/

At Roger's request, Yurara produces a new bubble, this time reflecting back to the potential dark path that could have been from the portrait painting this morning.

Rather than a colossal outburst of magical energy, things were subtle this time. The Dress taking control and dulling Roger's mind, calming her and her parents to the point of not even realizing what was happening around them.

With the dress in control, the portrait came out much worse than Roger could have anticipated.

At first, the serene painting of Mother and Daught became a sultry depiction of two women, on the verge of kissing, posed seductively, draped over on another, each dressed in leather outfits with exaggerated figures.

But that wasn't enough for it. Creating a second canvas, the Dress instead wanted to switch things around, with Roger as the buxom Elf matron and Valeria, her actual mother, as the scrawny half-elf child. The painting came out with an underlying sense of tension, capturing the hint of malice and jealousy in Roger's eyes and the aura of fear and reluctance in Valeria's.

Roger started to panic, trying to find a way out of this vision, cursing her own morbid curiosity for thinking that this was a good idea in any way.

The whole thing faded, just shy of setting up a third painting, this time of mistress and slave, which was enough to fully nauseate Roger.

Back in Yurara's Den, she explains that the visions shown are the darkest paths, but that they are not without their light.

In the path where Roger created the giant thrallherd of monster girls, the need to fix that many people led Roger to master magic in a way which would allow her to break the Dress's curse.

In the path where Roger became stuck in the Dress, her and Jultun would go on to become a mighty warrior with Roger's help, and the two of them would conquer the dress and eventually retrieve Roger's original body in time.

In the path where Roger's Mother-Daughter portrait was ruined, apparently the tension between them drove Roger to give up her quest and part ways, though that would lead Roger to meet a young man who would help her overcome the Dress and eventually bear several beautiful children by him.

However, all of this had become too much for Roger to bear. She was too disgusted, too distraught, and terrified to handle any more of this.

Millia offers that Roger may have had enough and to not subject her to the last bubble. Roger insists that she see it, but Yurara spares her the trauma and simply explains that, had she decided not to approach her talk with Lucile politely, then their relationship would have grown more antagonistic, eventually leading Roger to demand the Dress be destroyed when she finally met the Wizards.

This would nullify her contract with Millia, which means she may not even be able to stay on Roger's plane.. Quite a shock to the both of them.

Yurara ushers them out of her Den, saying she's meddled enough and altered the paths greatly as it is. If she sees the Roger and Millia getting any more emotional, she may be tempted to interfere further.

Roger thanks her for all the help and insight and Yurara leaves her with one more surprise. After being addressed as "Miss Yurara", she tells Roger that she is actually a boy.

Roger rejoins the rest of her party in the hookah lounge and recounts of of what had happened before sharing a tender hug with her Mother and mentally pulling Lucile in to join them.

It is at this point that Hekaton first hears about Roger's curse, requiring Roger to explain yet again and also admit that she accidentally turned Danny into a catgirl. Though she leaves out the part where Danny wasn't female before the transformation. The revelation of Roger's true gender and the issues with the Dress don't seem to worry him too much.

The ending portion of Part 9 mostly involves Roger talking with the rest of her party, officially including Danny and Hekaton as part of the group, with her Mother's approval.

There's also some time spent with Danny, who seems considerably less tense around Hekaton and far more accepting of the idea of being with him. While Roger was exploring all the terrible ways her life could be ruined, Danny was apparently also taking an introspective look at her own life.

When they finally depart, the story pauses for a moment for a quick status check. The characters section of this thread covers the party in far more detail, though.

Roger spends a short while considering what to do next, now that she has a far more positive outlook on her life and what the future holds as well as some valuable insight on how to proceed.

The most reasonable decision was to find a place to train in combat as a party. Under Hekaton's guidance they end up at the "King of Iron Fist Gym", which is owned by his uncle.

We end with Roger taking the time to reconfigure the dress, after some internal debating with Lucile, into a more mobile, light, and combat friendly outfit.

PART 10
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21890792/

The first portion of part 10 is difficult to summarize, mostly because it's about combat training against Hekaton. Under her Mother's guidance, Roger, Millia, and Danny practice against Hekaton, whose years of combat experience, and 6 arms give him a distinct advantage that allows him to easily defend and fight back against 3 opponents.

Against the advice of her Mother, Roger finds herself resorting to the polearm-dancing attacks a few times. She learned, after some trial and error, that she needs to act in unison to help draw open and pierce Hekaton's defense.

With a few successful and unsuccessful rounds of practice finished, the party decides that a good workout should be followed by a relaxing bath. After a brief stop at the Feisty Penguin, the party finds their way to a local bathhouse.

When trying to reduce the Dress to the smallest possible amount of fabric, Roger gets stuck with a slingshot bikini before arguing it into a more reasonable, though much more exposing, lace choker and nothing else.

Once finally in the bath, Roger and Millia take some time to talk with Danny about her strange behavior, keeping her from running into the mixed bath to fool around with Hek.

Roger and Millia had to pressure her for a while before she eventually admits that she's been really thinking about who she used to be and how her previous self would never have been offered the sort of opportunities that she's gotten since being transformed. She's not even sure if she wants to change back any more because she's grown to like her new self, especially with how good it feels to be with Hekaton.

Roger and Millia spend some time teasing and cleaning Danny, but talking about Roger's shyness around her parents and her open affection for Millia in private gets Millia started on teasing Roger..

The Dress tries to take control, getting Roger to give into Millia's playing, but Roger resists, only to decide that this is something she'd rather be fully responsible for, and begins to play along.

In full view of the other girls using the bath, including a group of giggling Tau girls who seemed quite entertained by Millia and Roger fooling around with one another. Straddled chest to chest, playuflly exploring one another's bodies, in spite of Roger's usual shyness and better judgement.

Roger forces herself to stop before things get too heavy and serious, promising that she'll make it up to Millia tonight, complete with the possibility of cat ears, just like Millia wanted.

Danny leaves Roger and Millia to cuddle and fool around while she hurries off to meet Hekaton in the mixed baths, deeming herself properly cleaned.

Part 10 draws to a close with Millia and Roger cuddling in the bath, quietly talking about what spurred on Roger to do something so bold, and her questioning if Danny's words got to her, making her want to enjoy what she has while she has it, and if that means she thinks she won't have it for much longer.

Roger is only able to answer "I'm not sure" to such a loaded question.

Let's get back to this!

PART 11
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/22010121/

Our story resumes with Roger and Millia soaking in the womens' section of the bathhouse for a short while longer before Roger eventually concedes that she needs to get out and get on with preparing for her meeting with the Wizards in some way. The wealth of new information she had received that day meant that everything about her original plan needed to change. That, and she had some other things that needed to be taken care of, like filling out her journal and getting some potions of clarity from her Father.

The two of them leave the bathhouse, peeking in on Danny and Hekaton in the mixed baths along the way to let them know they were leaving back for the tavern. On their way out, the Dwarven woman who had watched them fool around raises her drink to them and bids them to have a great night.

This time, when trying to change the Dress's form, Roger is given a classy, form-fitting evening gown in place of any combat-garb or overly elaborate princess dress.

Once back at the Feisty Penguin, which is far less lively now that the Bazaar crowd had gone, Roger and Millia find a quiet table off to the side to discuss their plan of action. Millia offers drinks, but Roger declines, preferring to stay clear headed for this talk.

They reaffirm Roger's main goal, to free herself and Lucile from the dress while also ridding it of any dangerous enchantments that might harm anyone else. Easier said than done.

Millia hatches the idea to not directly ask the wizards for help with the Dress, which confuses Roger, until she explains that Roger can present herself as a young magic-using prodigy seeking tutelage under the Illustrious Wizards of Arisca.

Roger briefly suggests the idea she discussed earlier with Lucile, about allowing the Dress to 'vent' itself on Millia, but Millia warns that there are dangerous things the Dress could do to her that she couldn't undo.

However, she does offer much more intensive and hands on magic lessons instead. Not just as a precaution, but as a means for Roger to learn and master more magic. Real Wizard training. An idea that excites Roger.

Millia turns the conversation towards refining the plan, suggesting that Roger consider a more specified field of magical study to approach the wizards with, just so she doesn't end up spending months practicing cantrips and beginner spells. The idea of studying enchanting seems like the best route.

Feeling satisfied with the current state of their scheme, Roger offers to share the plan with her parents, just in case. While searching the crowd, Arthur spots Roger before she can say anything, and loudly comments on how she looks more and more dolled up each time he sees her. Roger's Mother chastises him and threatens to slap him around in front of his son for making a scene.

Arthur attempts to diffuse the situation by insisting that Roger looks good and even tries to get Jultun to back him up, but it only makes things more embarrassing for Roger.

Roger briefly shares her plan with her parents, who still can't help but worry. Though, they also have some good news. A letter arrived from Mr. Gulcano, informing them that Roger's meeting with the Wizards was to take place on the day after tomorrow.

Roger tries to gather some information on the Wizards to better prepare for the meeting, but her party doesn't seem to know much more than she does.

The conversation is put aside, for a time, when Roger's parents drop a proverbial bombshell on her. After discussing it in private, the two of them had decided that they will see Roger to the meeting, then leave her to finish the rest of the quest on her own.

Not out of callousness, but out of the belief that if Roger is to be a proper adventurer that she needs to be able to strike out into the world on her own. As an added bit of of incentive, they've agreed to pitch in to cover the remaining portion of Roger's tuition once she's seen her quest through to the end.

To help her out, if she should really need it, Arthur and Jultun have agreed to lend a hand at her parents request.

Roger shares a loving family hug with her parents, even though they will still be around for a few more days. As a parting gift, Roger's Father has also prepared enough clarity potion to last Roger a week.

Roger spends the rest of her evening at the tavern listening to her parents and Arthur tell the story of how they met and how they came to travel together.

Danny and Hekaton rejoin the party later in the night, giving Roger the chance to share a meal with them while she makes idle small talk with Jultun. They talk about why they want to be adventurers and the strange circumstances of Roger's curse and the unusual relationship Jultun has with his boisterous Father.

Eventually, Millia and Roger excuse themselves. It's getting late in the night and Roger still has a few things she wants to do before bed.

When they return to their room, to begin her magic practice, Roger creates an illusionary study over the drab hotel furnishings. Millia teaches Roger a spell for more quickly recording thoughts and memories, which allows Roger to rapidly fill out her journal and recount the first few days that started her quest, making sure to be entirely honest with the details, for better or worse.

Once she grow weary from meticulously chronicling all of her thoughts and feelings from those first few days, and there were many of them to chronicle, she turns her attention to Millia.

Part 11 draws to a close with the third Fade to Black (http://pastebin.com/809NumVB )

PART 12
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/22266565/

Our story picks up the following morning, with Roger waking bleary-eyed after spending a portion of his night pleasuring Millia. She wakes Millia with a kiss.

Once they are done dragging themselves out of bed, Roger fetches her hat and they promptly begin the magic lessons. With only a few days before her meeting, Roger needed to learn as many spells as possible to try and prove her value as a prospective pupil.

They start by practicing the Ghost Hand spell, with Millia throwing Roger's hat, and Roger retrieving it with a magically created phantom hand, which she uses to get a double handful of Millia's ass with after practicing enough to create two at once, with some difficulty.

Millia follows up that lesson by teaching Roger a simple cleansing spell, which she uses to rid the room of the slightly musty smell they had created from fooling around over the past few nights and later to clean up Danny, who has been taking poor care of her new outfit, when they met up on their way down to the tavern.

Once they secure some breakfast, the lessons resume, with Roger using her ghost hand whenever possible to grab at distant objects, and also Danny's rump.

Millia teaches Roger the Arcane sight spell next, allowing her to perceive the flow of ambient mana, as well as allowing her to more easily spot enchanted items. When examining her dress, she finds that it is covered in dozens upon dozens of enchantments, all of them entangled wildly through its fabrics.

Roger also learns that transformative magic doesn't function like an enchantment and does not leave behind a tell-tale aura to mark it as a product of magic. This means that if Roger wants to turn herself or Danny back to normal that she'd need to create a spell that changes their form to look as it did before. A trouble proposition.

The lessons continue, this time with a more difficult spell: The Magical Shroud. A spell which conceals all enchantments and active spells on a person, making them appear as a normal person, under arcane scrutiny.

Roger actually fails, and frustration starts to set in. Lucile offers to help, but she wants something in return. She wants to make Roger's hair longer. It's the only thing she won't give in on and that makes it so much more desirable as a means to tease Roger.

Roger eventually agrees, but only on the condition that giving into such a demand come with more help from Lucile. Being one of the greatest wizards of her time should mean that she could be an invaluable tutor.

When she actually begins to help Roger with the spells, Roger notices a certain sort of peacefulness and clarity from Lucile when she's talking about spells and magical theory.

Going along with their agreement, Roger's hair is grown out by several inches, until it becomes shoulder length. It distresses her, but she tries not to dwell on it for the time.

Millia helps, in her own way, by playing with Roger's new hair a bit, then tying it into a cute ponytail.

After receiving the potions of clarity from her father, Roger goes about fixing up her outfit into something more wizardly and respectable. This time, adding a small utility belt with a bandolier for the potion vials.

With breakfast finish, Roger and her party depart for more training, this time taking a small tour of the city while Hekaton retrieves her repaired gauntlets from a Dwarven workshop before returning to the gym. Along the way, Roger practices the Arcane sight spell, taking note of the way that the ambient mana in the air interacts with the various different species around her, while also spotting a few magical items.

The final portion of part 12 takes place back at the King of Iron Fist Gym.

Under Millia's guidance, Roger learns to cast Mage Armor, Arcane Arrow, and begins to attempt an Animation spell, so she can bring the training dummies to life for her party to practice against.

She struggles and starts to rely on Lucile, who takes control of the spell and imbues 10 burlap training dummies with a sort of will of their own and a protective layer of mage armor, in the form of ethereal magic dresses.

One by one, Roger's party manages to dispatch the dummies, with each one growing more wily and clever than the one before it. A combiantion of ghost hand punches, arcane sight, and arcane arrow spells allows Roger to help her party overcome them and avoid their grasp, which was more rough and lewd than expected for combat training dummies.

Their collective teamwork, but most Hekaton's brawn, allow them to turn the dummies back into harmless piles of straw and burlap.

Before leaving, and wrapping up this part of the quest, Roger learns a mending spell from Millia to repair the dummies and return them back to their stands.

With all their training concluded, the party heads off to find some lunch.

PART 13
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/22398304/

The party locates a sort of outdoor restaurant, staffed exclusively by Orcs, who appeared to be serving to a clientele of mostly adventurers.

While trying to eat a chunk of fire-cooked meat off the bone, both the Dress and the mysterious third voice enforce an air of lady-like dignity upon her. Roger is too tired to try and fight both of them and resumes eating her meal daintily with a fork.

During their meal, Roger and Millia continue to discuss the cover story that she'll need to come up with to fool the wizards. The most ideal version of the story they come up with is one that is partially true, just with the facts slightly fudged.

The added idea to use the fae flower crown as part of the story seems to be promising, offering enough reason for Roger to travel this far for help, and making her seem interesting or important enough to the wizards to consider tutoring her.

After leaving the restaurant, Roger and her party wander the city streets for a while. Roger knows she has a busy night ahead of her, but she takes this brief period of free time just to wander, eventually coming across a bookstore, which grabs her attention.

Roger hits it off with the cute elf girl behind the counter of the bookstore and begins to strike up conversation. After some flirting and conversing, Roger ends up purchasing a book written by the Wizard Ocotob, a book on Fae lore, and book about the adventures of a justice-minded hero for Danny to read, since she claims to have never read a book before, and Roger fears she might be illiterate, and finally a potential date with Taiva, the Elf bookseller.

The four of them retire back to the Feisty Penguin to do some reading, with Millia and Roger splitting off into their room, and Hekaton and Danny heading off to their own to read the books they'd purchased.. Some sort of illustrated guide on sexual positions, from what Roger could gather.

One in their room, Roger creates a massive illusionary library suitable for the study session she's about to undertake.

While Roger sits down to continue adding to her journal, Millia takes up the guise of a librarian and saunters about Roger's illusionary library, tidying up and acting shy and cute, like the Elf librarian at the book store.

Once she's recorded several more days of her quest in the journal, she and Millia take a seat beside one another. Millia offers to teach Roger another spell, keeping up the shy librarian act all the while.

The spell this time allows Roger to temporarily absorb the knowledge within a book very quickly. Essentially allowing her to skim through a book at record speed and dig out the information she needs from it. Though it doesn't allow the user to fully absorb the knowledge within the book without multiple uses.

Roger decides to read through the book of Fae lore first, hoping to find some answers about the crown. After skimming through, Roger is only to come to two possible conclusions, since Fae stories are often so mysterious and mostly told secondhand.

Either the crown is a cursed gift, meant to torment her for the Fae's amusement, or it is a backward favor that they gave her in order to collect on a debt they feel owed for giving her a gift in the first place.

Unfortunately neither Millia nor Lucile have any valuable information that might shed any additional light on the subject. Despite the mortal world dealing with the Fae for centuries, not much is known of them, other than inconsistent stories and legends.

Roger resigns herself to deal with the problem later, when she might find a better source of knowledge, and part 13 draws to a close with Roger taking up Ocotob's immense compendium of knowledge on magical trade laws.

PART 14
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/22494763/
(Thread mistakenly labeled as 13 in the topic)

Roger finds that Octob's book is boring.. Painfully boring and needlessly complicated and overly verbose. She has to force herself to keep reading, even with the vastly accelerate pace of the spell she's using.

With some encouragement and cuddling from Millia, Roger forces her way through the book, just to possibly glean some important information about Ocotob. All she can really figure from his writings is that he must be a painfully professional person.

Roger and Millia return to the Feisty Penguin's Tavern below to catch up with Danny and Hek and her parents, finding the place to have picked up since they went up to their room to read and study.

While crossing the Tavern a familiar voice calls out to Roger. To her surprise, it's the Tau tailor who sold her Danny's new outfit several days prior. She's eager to greet Roger and admire her new outfit and hair in her usual hands-on fashion.

The tailor, Lady Pon, invites Roger and Millia back to her table, where they find that she is sitting with a Tama, Sir Shears, who apologizes profusely for his companion's overly tactile approach to greeting.

Sir Shears and Lady Pon apparently go way back, which he describes as 'comrades on the battlefield of style and fashion!'

Though Tama have no hair to speak of, Sir Shears is a stylist for the rest of the peoples of the world, and a highly skilled and quite well-known one, by Pon's description.

The discussion turns towards Roger's hair, with The Dress, Pon, and Sir Shears all eager to discuss the subject. After some plying, Roger agrees to let her hair get lengthened further, since Shears in intent on trimming it down to a shorter and more manageable style, in line with current trends.

Roger is initially reluctant, not knowing what to suggest for her hair, but Millia offers a sincere suggestion. Something short and tomboyish that frames her cute face.

Roger is caught by surprise by the results and just how much she actually likes them. She gives Sir Shears an appreciative hug and catches him by surprise.

Soon, Roger's parents and then Danny and Hekaton join them at the table, surrounding Roger by her full and lively party. Danny and Hekaton get splashed with another cleansing spell by Roger, after what they were obviously doing in their room.

Danny, after some prodding, eventually admits to actually doing some reading, proving it by talking about the first chapter with Roger. Though she claimed she's never read a book, she's not quite illiterate.

The night rolls on with small conversations, including warning Danny about the consequences of all the things she's been doing with Hek and Roger finally emptying the last reserves of her magic. She briefly worries what that mean mean for Lucile, but she seems fine enough, still fully capable of telling Roger to debase herself for a few coins.

Roger spends some time fretting over all the different things she needs to keep track of, like her dwindling funds and keeping Danny and Hekaton around without abusing Hekaton's charity. Millia has to reassure her that she's done quite well for herself, especially considering all the stresses she's been putting up with.

The night winds down after Roger has had her share of drinks, requiring Millia to escort her back to the room. Roger eventually dozes off while running through her story, reminding herself of all the important points to tell the wizards.

Part 14 ends with Millia tucking Roger in and kissing her goodnight, then heading back to the Tavern to finish out the night with the rest of the party.

PART 15
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/22623598/

In this very special chapter of Ass Quest, the story is told from Lucile's perspective, rather than Roger's. A peculiar quirk of the Dress leaves her free from its torturous manipulations as long as Roger is in a deep slumber.

With Roger effectively passed out for the rest of the night and enough time passed for her body to begin absorbing mana again, Lucile is given a unique opportunity to take control of the body without having to worry about Roger bucking her or the Dress clamping down on her.

Once she sets herself up with a temporary disguise, altering Roger's body into a more adult and less recognizable form, she sets out into the city on a flying halberd disguised as a broom.

As much as she'd like for it to just be a night for her to be free and alive again, she's intent on finding a way to earn Roger some extra coin, just to relieve the poor girl of one of her bigger worries.

Lucile ends up in the red light district of Arisca. Some internal deliberation leads her to the idea to offer her transformative magical services to the various streetwalkers and harlots working that night. Minor cosmetic changes and improvements to help out their particular line of business are popular enough amongst the girls, allowing Lucile to gather a fair amount of coin in a short amount of time.

With a limited amount of time left, Lucile settles on trying to earn just a little more by finding a stage to perform on.

Lucile fetches a strong drink from the bar and is luckily enough to secure a chance to get up on stage once the current dancers finish.

Once she finally gets on stage, Lucile puts on an elaborate show, combining numerous spells to set the stage, create a spotlight, enchant her appearance, and surround herself by phantom wispy figures.

As the audience begins tossing their coins on stage, Lucile catches each one with a ghost hand, creating a starry backdrop of twinkling coins for her belly dance.

A slow moving coin drifts through the air and Lucile reaches out with a ghost hand to catch it, only to realize that it's a platinum coin. Easily more valuable than everything she's already collected tonight, she almost breaks her concentration out of sheer surprise.

The man who tossed it sits at the far side of the room, dressed in heavy red robes and leaning on a wooden cane, smiling knowingly at Lucile as she performs.

Fearing that he might have other intentions or expectations or that he may even know something that everyone else does, Lucile begins to panic internal.

She draws her dance to a sudden close with a final vanishing act and hurries out the back door before anyone has a chance to question her.

Soon she's back at the Feisty Penguin and re-enters Roger's room through the window. She didn't like the idea of being noticed and something about the man with the platinum coin terrified Lucile down to her core. Reminding her of the bad old days..

She puts the coin under heavy scrutiny, checking it for any and all traces of magic, but find nothing, luckily.

She quickly undoes the various transformations and changes she inflicted on Roger's body for the night, leaves the sack of coins out for Roger to find, with a little note claiming that its a donation from the citizens of Arisca, then crawls back into bed, as if nothing ever happened.

Part 15 draws to a close with Lucile relinquishing control of Roger's body and returning back to the strange sort of limbo she occupies between Roger and the Dress.

Part 16
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/22790876/

In our most recent installment, the day of the meeting with Ocotob and Rossellini, the wizards that she traveled all this way and went through all this trouble to meet.

Roger awakes on her own with a faint, worrying feeling nagging at her mind as she tries to remember her dream. Something about it seemed important. Something about panic and fear and running and the color red...

But Roger just can't seem to remember it and soon the dream is just completely gone.

Roger starts to get ready for the day, cleaning herself up, checking her hair, which she is still surprised that she likes as much as she does, and adjusting her hat so it sits on her head just the way she likes it.

Just as she's going to wake Millia, Roger notices the sack of coins left by Lucile, though she doesn't know that.

There is some initial panic, fearing someone broke into her room or possibly that Danny stole it, but Millia assures her otherwise, claiming Danny never left her sight long enough to do something like that.

With nothing in the room being out of place or missing, Roger relaxes a little, but still can't help but worry about such a large sum of money being just left for her.

Once they head down to the tavern, Roger queries the workers, her parents, and everyone else, even Lucile, but none of them seem to know anything about the mysterious donation. Although, Lucile only tells her that no strangers entered her room last night.

The rest of the morning passes uneventfully with Roger spending time with his extended party, Jultun and Arthur included. She practices all of the spells she plans to use and rehearses her cover story to pass the time before the meeting.

Soon, the time has come and Roger leads the whole party to the Arisca City hall where the meeting is to take place.

After talking with the receptionist, Roger is led, alone, to go meet with the wizards. Before she can leave, Jultun asks her what her favorite flowers are, just because its an important occasion and flowers are sort of nice... Roger answers, with a smile, that she likes lillies.

The joke goes over many people's heads.

Finally, after all the trouble, she is given entrance to August Ocotob's office, where he is currently chatting with Thomas Rossellini and sharing some tea.

Both of them defy expectation in their own ways, with neither of them wearing pointy hats or having long beards. Although, Ocotob is instantly identifiable but his strict, professional appearance. Rossellini on the other hand, even though he is wearing robes, has a messy, wrinkled appearance.

Roger introduces herself as Dorothy Smith, not looking to arouse any suspicion by calling herself Roger.

They invite her in and offer her a seat though it only takes a short time before Ocotob admits that he has no idea why she's even sitting with them today, other than the fact that Mr. Gulcano arranged the meeting.

Roger prepares the Reagent's Rhetoric spell, so her words come out smoothly, and begins to explain her intentions.

She tells them that she is seeking a teacher to help her learn magic because she believes that, one day, the Fae may come for her. The claim grabs their attention.

She continues explaining how she crossed paths with the Fae Procession and they gifted her with the flower crown, which she emphasizes by offering them her hat, so they can inspect the flowers.

She lies a little, telling them that she discovered her magic talent after receiving the flower crown and that she studied some through common novice books. She also researched the Fae and came to the conclusion that they might come to collect a favor from her some day. Because of that, she needs a better teacher if she is to confront them.

Both of the Wizards confirm Roger's claim when they inspect the flowers.

Roger attempts to impress them by using her ghost hands to fetch herself some tea, but Ocotob doesn't seem overly motivated to clear his schedule because of her Fae problem. Rossellini urges him to think otherwise, since he does consider Roger's claims to be a serious problem.

Roger steps up the effort and uses a combination of spells to create a pair of tiny sugar Golems on a tea saucer, animate them, plate them in mage armor, then surround them by an illusionary Colosseum with tiny sugar people in the stands, cheering them on as the golems go to battle.

Instead of asking for direct tutelage at all times, Roger offers that they at least consider her as an assistant, since she is a very capable learner on her own. Having access to their resources and being able to work alongside them would be a great help, and allow her to train more easily than if she just studied on her own.

She explains that her plan is to study enchantment and hopefully unravel what it is the crown is for and what the Fae want, and if possible, to sever the connection the crown gives them to her so they can't come to collect.

They begin to discuss the offer amongst themselves and eventually come to the conclusion that both of them have an interest in aiding Roger in some way, but the problem is that they couldn't both tutor Roger, given their schedules and lifestyles.

After weighing the options, with Ocotob's affluence and luxury and wealth of valuable contacts versus Rossellini's expertise and mastery of enchantment, but relatively poorer living conditions, Roger chooses to go with Rossellini.

Part 16 draws to a close and our Quest reaches a suitable break point with Rossellini asking Roger to do one very important thing for him...

Stop calling him Master Rossellini and start calling him Tom.

It's a little anti-climatic.

Any that should just about cover it.. I don't think I forgot anything important, other than mentioning a few side-conversations or stray thoughts from the story.

This should be just about everything, condensed down from 16 threads and about 200 pages of content to one thread.

It's a lot to read, but a lot less than it could be if you don't feel like taking the time to go through the old threads. I don't really blame you. I have trouble getting into a lot of quests simply because I don't or can't bring myself to read through all the old threads.

Anywho, this thread is already archived on suptg and you can find it and all the previous parts under the WC:PGAQ tag.

I'm going to take a break, maybe go run some errands, relax, and see about those Fade to Black scenes I promised.
