Lotus is basically a combination of muscle wizard and Magic Doctor.

You head down to the basement after that. You want to scope out a good place to set up a lab for animal experimentation with living alchemy. All of the room are, for the most part, identical save for where they they are located on the ramp. Each room is about five meters by five meters in floor space with ceilings about three meters high. Any one of them could work as lab space, if be a bit cramped. It might - or might not - be a good idea to have one room just full of cages of unused live test subjects, and have one room be the actual lab with current test subjects and equipment.

You'll need cages, equipment, and lab rats for that, though.
