Eventually, you and everyone else makes their way out of the pool, drying themselves off, and making their way inside. Damien started helping himself to most of the snacks.

"I can't pronounce what it is, I'm afraid." Your dad said, and giggled. Sarvesh chuckled as well, and started to pick at it with his mandibles.

Your dad giggled again, and went to grab the aquarium. Anna crunched into her burger, opening another soda.

For a moment, you wonder what your father did back before she became a stay-at-home father. Your parents had never told you, and the few times you asked, they'd changed the subject.
