You can feel the underlying menace in his words as you take the cool glass in your hands and sit it in on your lap. You are in a room with a man who has tried to throw you off your broom, has forced you to confess everything you knew by knocking you out by the greenhouse and casting dark magic to fool you. Students like Sam have been framed for an attempted poisoning; Harriet has become a nervous wreck who has become a shell of her former self. Your own dreams of an adventure at Hogwarts have been thrown into the mud as the past three weeks have been nothing but paranoia and misery. Looks like i caught up just in time.

You jump back as Bergle sends an expelliarmus charm at you which you manage to deflect but only just. The force of the spell sends you backtracking as the excess energy from the spell sends books and papers flying off the shelves. Bergle keeps on the attack as he sends another and another at you with a crushing force that you can barely withstand. There is no room for you to attack, only to defend as you find yourself stumbling backwards up the stairs as you fight to protect yourself.

”You! Little! Witch!” shouts Bergle as you reach the top of the stairs. He takes a moment to pause and size you up as your right arm shakes with fear and pent up energy.

Bergle seems to change his tact somewhat.

As Bergle builds his spell amidst the maelstrom you point your wand at his gut and say the magic words “PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!” and in an instant Bergle’s arms lock in the air as the green light blows a hole in the ceiling which comes crashing down.
