Anzu, Yuzu and Momo are staring at you. Momo's mouth is open. Yuzu looks like she's about to burst into tears. Anzu is glaring at you.

You smile at her, "This was a very productive discussion. I'm glad we have an understanding."

I can mildly, but it's only with a T-50 or a ELC.
Basically, mess around for a minute or two after the match starts. By that time everyone starts getting into place. Then go out and scout, running along the edges a bit. Once you spot an enemy, book it back to a location on your end you designate as a safe spot.

Keep that up, and just roam in packs. A scouts job is to be annoying and keep 'em lit so the others can do their work. If you have some buddies with lights then wolf-pack it up and hound tanks to death.

As a scout, don't worry about the battle. If you're doing your job right then the team should be doing okay. Just stay out of the fray, engage the enemy lights and be a total pest.

Traditionally, I'm a heavy tanker. I like being the meathouse with the big gun.
Yet that little T-50 won my heart the minute my clanmate told me to deck that thing out and just trust him.

Granted, I track myself over every little bump even with improved suspension, but I don't regret spending the gold and all the cash. Once you figure out how to play like a light, it's a little odd... It's a completely different game, sort of like how Arty play it differently. Once you figure out how -not- to be a heavy tank it gets interesting.

Just realize that survival is all important. If the situation is tits up, book it regardless of the repercussions. People may be upset with you for being a chickenshit but as a light, you generally don't have to care what is happening around the field. Just be sure to keep them lit, and find targets you think you can kill. Potential targets being slow lumbering ones or loners, or arty.

Thing is, you also have to figure out how you play the Chaffee-- is it a passive or an active scout? I play the T-50 as an active scout, zipping all over the place. The ELC is a skirmisher, an ambusher. It hides in a bush and then charges at a tank, pop it and then hug up along the hull where the gun can't aim down at it.

Maybe the chaffee just isn't the right light for you? I really do recommend the T-50. Thing is incredibly fun to play.

I made my account on the EU server because all my friends played there and I had a pretty good internet connection.

Now I have a shitty internet connection and can barely play.

In all heart, I'm a German tanker myself. Started the game in my Leichttraktor, I'll end the game in my E-100.
Doesn't mean I don't adore my T29, TOG II*, or the T-50.

I get what you mean though, hah. We all have our specialties. I can't handle the E5 at all it's... too American. Not enough armor or boom to it's canon.

She glances over at Miho, who's already withering. "We need a commander who is experienced in directing and fighting multiple tanks. If we don't have one then our school has no hope of survival..."

"Don't be so selfish! Miho doesn't want to take Sensha-do!" Saori says angrily, taking hold of Miho's hand.

"You can't force her!" Hana says, holding her other hand.

"Brave words, for students who may find themselves expelled with her if she doesn't agree to take Senshado..." Anzu says, still bored.

Aw hell no. "Now wait just a minute! You can't just threaten to-"

Anzu glares at you. Her bored tone carry an arctic frost. "Commander, I agree that I overstepped my bounds with regard to your tank. I ask that you not overstep yours." You fall back almost immediately.

"So you're just going to threaten her then? You don't have the pow-"

"It is not a threat- The president is always serious." Momo says angrily.

"Please, apologize and agree to sign up for Senshado while you still can!" Yuzu pleads.

At this point the entire conversation breaks down. "Tyranny!" Exclaims.

Through all this, Miho quietly stares down at her feet. And then...

"I will!" The redhead from Black Forest shouts. "I will take Senshado."

No, they aren't underpowered. They nerfed them to a point that the other tanks can actually fight them fairly evenly.

Many of the German tanks weigh a lot more than their planned or real historical counterparts, or have underpowered engines to make it so they have some kind of weakness.
The Tiger was a joke, and the Tiger II was better but it wasn't as inspiring as hoped to be.
Otherwise, I have no doubt they they be much more of a problem.

I was hoping/expecting the German tanks to be a little better with the brawling then they ended up, since I kind of went off of stories-- Tigers and the like fighting in towns and cityscapes.

Once I got to the Tiger, found out quickly that wasn't its roll, only to find that many of the German heavies were supports/second line snipers... I was somewhat disappointed.

Now that I've gotten to the E-75 and have it fully upgraded with a trained crew... I am not disappoint. Thing is an absolute beauty, S-51's be damned.

German tanks aren't even too bad at brawling. They've got some mean DPM guns, you just can't expect to hold up long in a city fight. Just look at your tanks, WoT isn't a war. Normally you'd have infantry covering your ass so you can cover their asses, but you're a tank fighting tanks with nothing else to interfere.

Even real life Tigers faltered when faced with tanks attacking their weak spots rather than facing them head on.

I think the plans were to implement it once they have the maps for Clan Wars up to what they hope it will be.

A World at War. Besides all of the fights being between each of the games, it will also be fought with tank v tank, plane v plane, ship v ship. Besides getting to mess around with the others you still have to survive and fight your own fights.

The idea being, or hoped for (Though knowing how the pug matches usually go...) teamwork was supposed to be key. Tanks take land targets while under covering fire from the ships while the planes try to take out both. Bombers help with land targets and the ships.

Since it's all sort of in the air, I doubt much of this is anything but speculation anyway. Sounds bloody cool though.

Ranges are different and everyone's accuracy is nerfed below real life standards. FFS, the 122mm D-25T in-game has trouble hitting tanks at all from 400+ meters when IRL, it was just as accurate as the german 8,8cm L/71.

Hell, the whole crying about soviet bias in the game never mentions the often completely shit soft stats on soviet tanks and that quite a few of their high-tier machines have been nerfed into the ground compared to their IRL counterparts while especially the german napkinwaffen tend to have their best iterations cherry-picked; like using 1200 hp engines that IRL never even broke 1000.
