About the whole situation... you were pretty bored come to think of it. You had hoped for something more exciting, beyond the mundane of your every day life. Being dead was just the same as being alive, except you could only watch.

You had hoped your new form would give you something, anything, special to do, but even peeping got dull after around the third or fourth time. You feel the mask twist and shape as your new body begins to warp along with you, making you momentarily wonder if this new stage of death will offer you anything amusing.

You feel your body finish cooking, as it were, and soar out into the open air. You manage to catch your reflection and get a good look at your body. Your mask's features a wide smile, almost too wide, the constant pursuit of amusement leaving their mark on you. Schrödinger is a good name, you think, though you can't for the life of you remember why the hell it makes you laugh so much. You lazily float through the city, causing mischief along the way. How about a sequenced illusion?

The son, being sullen and hard-headed, is likely not listening to his mother. We shall then attract his attention by having his mother's speech rapidly drop into a low-pitched buzz. Then as he starts to think something is wrong, a bee crawls out of her nostril, and into her mouth. Queue this happening with eyes, ears, then eventually a massive swarm of bees swarming out of his mother. They fly around the room, making a defeaning buzzing sound while they swarm past him a few times, until they finally come to a stop and gather up at the highest point in the room. Then they speed on toward him in an arrow-shape while an eerie laughter fills his ears right before his imminent (fictional) demise.

You think about burglars, and believe with their heightened emotional state, your high energy reserves, and some luck you can make it so. You manifest yourself momentarily and shatter the window, making sure to keep yourself cloaked unsure of what may lurk in the night but wanting to avoid them if possible, before creating the illusion of large men in ski masks with shirts that contain some vague threat of rape.

As the mother falls back and crawls towards the sofa you roll around laughing, sneaking into the room and smiling wide, reaching inside yourself to pull out more.

You focus on the son and let him see his mother slowly splinter into a swarm of Japanese Giant Hornets, their buzzing sound deafening to the lad as he runs out of the house into the street screaming.

You have to drop the illusions after a second, evidently trying to force two different people to see two different things fairly taxing with your ability as of now.

But worth it.

In the bottom of the living room you see a man and a woman, and in the top floor you see a baby in it's crib. You give the child a smell which causes it to open its eyes and look at you, and you can tell it is really looking at you.

It reaches out and touches your mask before making the strange baby talk sounds that is expected of it. Seems this one was born with naturally heightened senses.
