A succesful roll has your bomber unloading its rather small payload among the massed troops. This will lead the way somewhat for your forces, and give them a bit more of a soft enemy to hit.

Conners forces are constantly besieged by the better equipped Sith forces, though his mass of IG Conscripts and Penal Guard, along with the artillary, means he can hold them off for the most part, albeit with massive losses.

The Sith line is heavily concentrated here, with many more Dark Force users than your forces encountered. Though perhaps this presents opportunity?

Forcing your way further into the sith lines, giving Conner a much needed break, your Astratus are able to spear forward, with the tanks and bomber clearing much of the resistance.
Yet the shields active, and the distance puts your snipers at a disadvantage, and they are being forced to fire multiple shots to get their kills, most of which are low tier enlisted troops.

Perhaps splitting your forces was not the best of ideas? Almost as if sensing weakness, the few remaining Force users in the area wait until your split is too far away to re-enforce each other.

YOur five tanks do not survivue the fight, though the companies of Purifiers are for the most part still fighting, that may not be the case unless you can act quickly.

Sadly, your bomber ended up doing alot more harm than good, as the Sith used their abilities to deflect some of the explosives into the purifiers.

Your bomber is useless for the duration of this fight due to the enemy finding a method to counter it.

As for Rage mechanics, perhaps make it so that failure on 1st or 2nd roll ends in KIA and afterwards be WIA but out for one mission or two.

Additionally, when writing about results and whatnot, make sure to notify the player that they need to input commands or that they need to roll, otherwise I might be waiting for you to finish typing up another part of the narrative.

I prefer one per battle, seeing as the small battles can possibly finish two in a session, while the largest battle stands at 3 sessions so far.
