Frank managed to get a few good hits on the Guren so the float system is rather damaged, and is probably low on power. No report on Schniezel has been made. The Gawain can still fire its cannons a few times according to Frank

It seems Jeremiah has already taken your lead and is charging forward with his Burai, artillery first. With your hobbled land spinners however, your retreat is far from fast and Frank is able to retract his slash harken and begin retreating before you are clear of the blast.

Jeremiah, the excellent devicer that he is, spins around you with ease, shielding you with the leg of his Burai before launching a rocket at the Gawain. The explosion rips through the air and rains debris across the airstrip, and when you look, the Gawain is no longer standing. it's legs have been demolished by the blast, and Kallen has already circled around behind it. Rather than booting up the float system, the Gawain merely slumps over.

Frank must be planning something, but a broadcast has just gone out to all the Black Knights. "Retreat from the Avalon immediately."

Kallen takes the hint and charges forward to assault the gawain, grabbing onto the float system and preparing to lock down the cockpit, but Frank is faster. the cockpit ejects out the back of the Gawain, breaking past the Guren and flying across the airstrip. Jeremiah locks onto it with his artillery, but neglects to fire. "What the hell are you waiting for?" you demand in rage as you watch Frank escape.

"Time to move! Grab on!" Jeremiah shouts as he spins around and scoops you up with his burai. Kallen quickly abandons the Gawain as well, leaving it on the battlefield. The Avalon is straining against it's crippled float systems, trying to move and escape the airstrip. Only Suzaku remains, embroiled in his fight and unable to escape. Then you see the sky.

The air is saturated with missiles. Dozens if not hundreds of them flying at the air strip.

I'm the most illogical person when it comes to magic. I like opening packs and hoping for the best money cards to make a profit (I'm majoring in Economics and my goal in pretty much anything is profit) but at the same time if I get a really good money rare that the store won't take it, I won't hesitate to trade down for a ton of bulk rares that are jank as fuck, like Omniscience and Speltwine and Time Reversal and shit. The sensors on the Burai pick something up. There's nearby movement in the trees. Jeremiah quickly seals up the cockpit of his Burai and swings his armaments around the area.

There is another lifesign in the area, but it's hard to pick up through the foliage. It most certainly however, is not in the ejection pod. "There you are!" he announces as he steps back with the Burai to aim the knightmares underslung machine gun at Frank.

"Ah ah ahh. Don't be hasty now. I have no quarrel with you Lord Jeremiah," Frank answers as he saunters out from behind the trees.

"But I have quarrel with you, prepare to die Geass user."

"Then I do believe you'll be joining me in that endevour. I cannot overpower you, but I can still threaten you," Frank says as he pulls open his jacket to reveal a strange mechanism attached to his chest, it glows pink. "Now, if I were you, I would simply turn the other way. Leave and let live. We both have more important things to tackle now don't we?"

"He's too dangerous Jeremiah, he could black me out with a single sentence. Buckle up and grit your teeth."

"You're bluffing. No one is that stupid," Frank says with a short laugh. "Now, if you'll just hear me out..." You shoot. And you shoot again. In total, five bullets rip through his chest before his heart stops, and the device activates. The plungers around the rim of the mechanism shoot into it and the light glows brightly as Frank drops to his knees.

"You idiot!" Jeremiah roars as the package of sakuradite detonates. The blinding explosion shreds through Frank's body. The shockwave knocks you clear of the Burai. The explosion eats through the legs of the knightmare and up. The cockpit barely ejects, but the thrusters are erratic and quickly grounds into the trees. Then the secondary explosion of the knightmare goes off.

The entire thicket is reduced to ash and debris.

The back of your head is split open and bleeding profusely and the front of your clothes are burnt to your skin. You can't quite move your cybernetic leg anymore. As the smoke clears, you get a glimpse of the ejection pod, and it cracks open.
