We're not a Witch because we wanted to be a focused Meister, as well as other reasons I'm sure. I just like Meisters more than Witches. Besides, being a Witch would put us on Old Death's shitlist, that is not a safe place to be.

There's lots of interesting characters without Soul Perception, it's an extraordinarily rare gift and most people get on just fine without it. Sure we can't do a number of Soul Perception related fuckery things, but we have Soul Force, and hopefully make a partnership with a weapon that works well with that, and we'll develop our own combat style.

Witches can use weapons. Kim was a tanuki witch that went into Shibusen to learn how to be a meister. When she was found out and everyone accepted her after a time, she used her healing magic freely while using her weapon.

You begin to thunder down the street, following the bloodtrail towards the source of the screaming. The trail of blood twists and turns through the congested alleyways of this old berg, going down towards the whore's district. Finally, you turn and see the kid, trapped and cowering.

Given that there's the corpses of his little group scattered around, several souls already floating above the bloody flesh. The kid's simpering and recoiling from the blood-drenched killer. The killer walks slowly toward's your client's brat, his bloody woodaxe scraping against the ground, chipped and worn. He's wearing a thick dark coat, no doubt covered in dried blood, and a wide hat covers his face in shadow. But you can still see it...his eyes and his teeth. Fuck, it WAS a madman or at least damn close. The kid starts to look around for an exit and sets his eyes upon you, looking ready to start screaming again.
