"Well, whatever it was, it's not catching us now." You say, offering the Shadow a hand up from his hunched over panting. "Want to see what this place is about?"

"Hell yeah! This is someone's dungeon! Imagine what sort of dark and dirty secrets we can figure out from this!" He says, getting a crazed grin. "Hell, I bet they're even still alive. Probably will be until the next time the fog goes away, too."

He stretches, cracking his neck, as you feel the day catch up to you.

...That was a lot of stuff, now that you think about it. Exhausting, too... A quick glance at your watch shows it's just hitting midnight...

"Er..." You say, watching as the Shadow stretches over enthusiastically, cracking its shoulders some. "I really don't think I can keep going... It's late, I got up early, and the adrenalin rush from that.. Thing we ran from just wore off. I don't suppose you have a shortcut we could use to get back?"

The Shadow stops mid-stretch, before looking at you with a pleading expression.

"I want to keep going too, but I don't think I can really help people when I'm about to fall asleep on my feet." You continue, looking at the Shadow with an even gaze. "Besides, you said they'll probably still be alive until the next time the fog clears, didn't you? That shouldn't be for a while, if it just did last night, right? "

"Aw, it was just gonna get FUN, too." He says, starting to rub his chin in thought. "But yeah, unless the Shadows go nuts for some reason, they'll be safe. I guess we'll have to use one of these babies."

With that, the Shadow pulls a white sphere, about half the size of his fist, from his jacket.

"We smash it, and we get teleported back to home." He says, tossing it to you. "That's the only one I've got, though, so we need to finish up at this place the next time you hop in, unless you manage to find one somewhere in your world."

You smash the object, enveloping both you and the Shadow in a coughing smoke.


When it finally clears, you find yourself standing just inside the door of the same white room you appeared in the two times you've entered the TV world.

You gather the sewing materials and say goodbye to the Shadow...

"Well, I need to be off." He says, picking up his jacket and slinging it over his shoulder as he walks towards the door.

"Wait, with these two, there are four people just gone. Are you sure it's safe to go to school?" You ask.

"Safe enough, I'd say." Dojima says after a moment. "Just make sure you stay in public, though. No back roads, no shortcuts. "

"Alright, I'll make sure she gets to school and back safely." You reply, nodding. "You can count on me"

With that, he leaves, closing the door behind him.

She seems to get the message, and a few minutes later, the two of you are on the roof, you having tested and failed to stick your finger into the cellphone's screen by the time she arrived

"...Yes?" She asks, keeping a careful eye on you from near the door.

"Look, you know how Hanamura and Satonaka are missing?" You ask, looking at her and making few gestures. "I think I know what's happened to them. And it isn't anything good."

She seems a bit more nervous, but still willing to hear you out.

"This is absolutely going to sound crazy, but..." You start, looking around the roof. "I think they were thrown into a TV."

Yukiko seems like she's about to run, but stops.

"...Why?" She asks, looking at you carefully. "Does this have something to do with what you were going to tell us yesterday?"

"...In the practice building, on the second floor. No one's there during the first week of classes, so it should be fairly easy to get to it." Yukiko says, after a moment of thinking.

The punk- Kanji, that's it, looks at you somewhat surprised.

"Kanji, he says he might know something about why Chie's missing," Yukiko says, tapping her friend on the shoulder. "He needed a TV to show something to me."

"Eh? So you two weren't-" Kanji starts, before blushing. "Aw, crap. Sorry, man, I thought you were-"

"Don't worry about it," You say, lurching over to the two in a half-dizzy stupor. "But now my ID's in there. Mind loaning me yours so I can get it back?"

"Uh...Sure!" he says, hastily pulling out a wallet and student ID, handing the latter to you as you get to work on the door again."But I'm comin' with you!"

"I was going to ask you to anyway," You say, giving the door a push as it slides open.

Returning the ID to Kanji, you pick up your own and gesture for the other two to step in.

....

The AV room is poorly lit, and stacks of electronics are scattered around.

"Do we need to plug one in?" Yukiko asks, walking over to a cart with a fairly wide screened TV on it and looking around.
"Probably," You say, taking a quick look outside to make sure there's no one following you.

Seeing no one, you quietly close the door, but unlock it. That should make it easier to get out.

Heading over to where the TV is, you check on its power, before turning to the two with you.

"Alright, please don't tell anyone else about this, would you?" You say, before tapping the screen lightly, causing it to ripple

You sink your hand in to the wrist, hoping like hell nothing grabs it like last time...

"Th-THE HELL IS THAT?!"

"H-How?!"
