There’s plenty of stuff to do, so you might as well head home. Walking home in the afternoon, you rest you hands in your pockets and keep an eye out for trouble. But, thankfully, none seems to appear. You try to recall your friend’s numbers, but only a few come to mind- Chad, Ishida, and Orihime. You quickly text them a note that you’re back in action before pocketing your new phone.

When you reach your house, Neliel doesn’t seem to be home, but she left a note that she’s going to go tell the Arrancars at the base that you’re better and that’s there’s stuff to discuss.

You head up to your room to think about things, especially several of your friends. They were messed up by Aizen pretty bad- seems like you should talk to them. Keigo and Chizuru shouldn’t be too bad- they’re still on good terms with everyone, but Tatsuki… Well she might react badly to you.

You pause as you look around the room. Where’s your guitar? You were totally going to finish learning ‘Sairway to Haven’ when you had the time!

You note the time- it’s about 3pm now. School should be letting out soon.

You head downstairs and into the clinic, but it seems like today’s a busy day for him as you see several people sitting in chairs waiting for their turns to be seen. You look at his schedule and sigh, seems like he’ll be working until dinner.

Since Kuukaku’s not here, there’s only two places she could be- Urahara’s or the Base- and in that case, Neliel’s on the way there. You sit down for a minute to think about what to do when the door opens you see Yuzu and Karin walk in before their eyes widen in surprise.

“ICHI-NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!”

Yuzu’s eyes tear up as she stares at you before running at you, wrapping her arms around you in a tight hug, surprisingly stronger than you remember. She’s weeping into your shit as you see Karin staring at you before she collapses into a chair, before she lets out a sigh of relief. After a moment she gives you a serious look.

“Ichigo, if it weren’t for the fact you’re my brother and Yuzu’s hugging you right now, I’d kill you for worrying us.”

Seems like your sisters are pretty relieved to see you. Come to think of it, wasn’t Ishida teaching them while you were in bed almost dying?

He retracts his hand and adjusts his glasses. “It seems like you’re beginning to regain your abilities Kurosaki.”

Yuzu’s still wrapped around you, though the tears seem to have stopped at Karin waves at Ishida before looking at you. “Yeah, he’s been teaching us the basics of the basics- he told us practice was cancelled, but he’d be stopping by the house to talk to someone, seems like he’s was informed before we were that you were better.”

Karin gives you a long stare as you clear your throat. “Well, it isn’t like I had a way to contact you.”

She nods her head as Ichida clears his throat. “So, have you been caught up on everything already?”

You nod, a scowl crossing your face at recalling some of the news. “Neliel filled in a lot of things that happened.”

Ishida nods and sits there before shifting slightly. He’s waiting for you to say something, it seems.

When Starrk finishes she leans in and whispers. It isn’t hard to overhear them, even from here. “…I think we recovered from that pretty well, don’t you?”

She smacks Starrk on the head before her eyes start watering. Ishida quickly pulls Yuzu out of the way as Lilynette becomes a missile that moves to tackle you. Luckily, there’s a couch behind you so you step out of the way as she plows into it. She gets up and stares at you, eyes glistening.

“You’re alright?”

You give her a nod as she smiles and turns to Starrk. “He’s alright, Starrk! He’s alright!”

He gives a nod, but you do notice he’s put the guitar in a bag and put it on his back. Karin notices your stare and shrugs. “He needed something to do and you never play the thing anymore, so we let him have it as something to do. You don’t mind, do you Ichigo?”

You glance at Starrk, who must have practiced a lot to get that good since you all got back. Before you can say anything on the matter you hear a knock on the door.
