For me it's the similarities between her and Rienhold's issues and the amount of empathy that comes from that. On top of that, I really enjoy the banter between the two and it just seems like the most interesting and emotional story out of all the girls since the way they treat each other seems to change a lot. My major issue with Sylvie is that the relationship just feels very sedate and monotonous and Reinhold mostly just goofs off with Nico. On the other hand, Reinhold seems very personally invested in Marianne's well-being in a way that he isn't with the other girls and really does a lot for her that he doesn't need to do at all.

So far she's the only girl that I think Reinhold has shown his own personal reasons to be interested in, while the other girls just feel like him being his usual nice self and them responding to that, so relationships with them feel kind of weak in comparison.

I guess to a certain extent I'm picking the girl that I think makes the most interesting story, but at the same time I think it makes a more interesting solely because Reinhold has more personal reasons to become involved with Marie than other characters.
