You are Reinhold, master swordsman and victor of the Royal Swordsmanship Tournament. The King was so impressed with your skill, he personally requested that you be transferred out of the army and into the Royal Guard! Not bad for an orphan who was raised in a brothel in a poor fishing village. The only issue at this point is your assignment... you've been charged to be the personal guard of the King's only daughter Marianne. While she is the vision of loveliness that you'd expect from a Princess, her personality is... well... she seems to have some issues. The day started out fun, but then those kidnappers showed up and everything just kind of fell apart. But with any luck, today will be different......or maybe not, considering that you have that party to attend today.>Congratuations, you are now a mangy DOG!>While dogs are loyal, they're not all that smart...>The Princess now considers you to be her friend!>But while dogs are man's best friend, they still don't count as people.Thread archive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Princess+Guard+QuestCharacter list + descriptions (in progress):http://pastebin.com/1Vhj4DJvTwitter:https://twitter.com/QM_ArchelonQuest compilation that's kindly maintained by a person who isn't me:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/n4nhs9gd0kmnnni/04tpEy5_pe>>
TIME FOR A FUN PARTY, DURING WHICH I'M SURE NOTHING WILL GO WRONG AND EVERYONE TOTALLY WON'T DIE.
Let's do this.
As Reinhold walks away, Luciana feels a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. While she would really like to beg him to stay so that she can salvage something from this night, he clearly doesn't want to spend any more time with her... especially after she let her ugly side show through in her treatment of that piece of filth. With a sigh of resignment, she turns to a guard who is standing by the door to the balcony."H- how can I help you, Princess!?" he asks, showing her a rigid salute."See what you can do to determine the origin of those men, as well as that of their weapons," Luciana orders. "I assume that there's enough of them left intact for someone to identify.""I only damaged the face of one of them," Takamaru nods."Y- yes, Your Highness!" the guard exclaims.>[1/?]
>>28706231you guys are one of the worst type of players in this quest.its getting annoying hearing you guys saying its happening every thing
I made this picture after the last thread, as an offering.
feet are hard
I bet he quits by thread 80
>>28706260"And once that's done with, I would appreciate it if the balcony would be cleaned up before my Father finds out what happened," Luciana says, scowling."Er, I'm not sure the cleaning staff is equipped for this..." the guard replies, fidgeting."I didn't say to have the cleaning staff do it," she mutters, glaring out of the window. "Go find whatever fools were supposed to be guarding the rear of the castle, and inform them that -they- will be taking care of this mess.""Those kidnappers were allowed to get as far as they did because of THEIR incompetence," Luciana says through gritted teeth. "Do you have any idea what would have happened if my mother, or my sisters, or pretty much any of the royal family aside from myself or my father had been out on the balcony during this attack?""...understood, your highness," the guard replies meekly."And also tell them that I personally ordered that they shall be on janitorial duty for the next month. In their guards' uniforms.""Aaaaaas you wish!" he squeaks.>[2/?]
>>28706284Clearly scared out of his mind from both the horrible bloodbath out on the balcony AND having to interact with Princess Luciana, who is feared by pretty much all of the castle's staff, the guard uses her orders as an excuse to get as far away from all of this as possible. As he makes a quick retreat, Luciana lets out a deep sigh. Tonight was supposed to her first chance to actually get close to Reinhold without any of the others getting in the way and now everything's ruined... but there are more important things to worry about."...and what are the rest of you staring at?" Luciana shouts as she looks around at the other guards who are just watching her. "From tonight until I decide otherwise, the number of guards who are stationed here in the castle is hereby tripled, as well as the frequency of patrols! Inform all of the castle's staff, along with anyone who had taken time off!""Yes, your highness!" the guards all exclaim, standing at full attention.>[3/?]
>>28706256...Oh god, that's not something that actually needed to be made is it?The only other quest protagonists I can think of that would need a chart like that are Mr. Shadow and Risa Schrodinger, and at least they have the excuse of being pretty distant from a human baseline....Also I guess Red Joker, but same dif really.
>>28706260>especially after she let her ugly side show through in her treatment of that piece of filth.Kind of knew that was exactly how she'd take it.Killing a guy for ruining your evening is kind of uncool. Especially when he didn't commit a crime worthy of execution. Not that I think Reinhold is personally upset about it.
>>28706330>Real life monarchies would totally play nice with people who try to kidnap the royaltyAnon, please.
>>28706354I don't think it's all that weird for a monarch. I just thought Luci was better than the average monarch. She wasn't using her status to cut in line back during her day with us and Marie and such.

>>28706380Just tired of it since it has been used since the first thread and when ever some thing suspicious happened.
Personal Request. Let's not act like a bunch of waifuing faggots okay? This isn't a VN. Its VN based. I seriously doubt any single choice is going to route lock us or bar a route either. Calm the fuck down. And if a little romance happens with a girl who isn't your favorite? We're not about to get married at this point. We can hold hands and I don't think it'll matter at all in the long run.In before tired >hand holding is lewd "joke". That is only ever funny on /d/.
Luciana is fucking scary, man.
>>28706377If someone sent some armed thugs to pull me off my own balcony and do whatevs I would be kind of irate also.

>>28706422Yeah, but I wouldn't kill an unarmed(literally) guy who had already been subdued and wasn't fighting back just because I was irate.>>28706435Is execution without trial or due process also allowed? Do you have access to Marconetti's laws?
>>28706328Shadow has a better understanding of how to be a good human being than the anons who were driving Reinhold last thread. An elemental who is the antithesis of life is a better human being than some people on /tg/.
>>28706425Reinhold isn't you, anon. Do what he would do. Not what you would do if you were a bodyguard of the tsunest princess in the land.Seriously people. Roleplaying. Its not that fucking hard.

He tried to -KIDNAP- her.Murder and kidnapping are both crimes worthy of execution.
>>28706458I'm not going to argue that it wasn't callous, I'm not going to say he didn't deserve it, either.
>>28706458It doesn't matter at all what you would do, Luciana obviously would.
>>28706467I will. I will protect the princess and support his job.Flags are irrelevant to that.

>>28706470>>28706467Don't feed the trolls, can we have a peaceful thread this time. I rather not have Arc drop this interesting story just because of fighting
>>28706467This. Couldn't agree more
>>28706492Not being a terrible person is pretty relevant.Or do you think being a bodyguard means only physical harm and doesn't extend to mental, emotional, social, and spiritual harm?
>>28706515Honestly, the problem isn't that it's more common than in other threads, the problem is that this thread has, like, 5 times the usual amount of people contributing.
>>28706487>>28706490I'm just upset that she could really only do that and get away with it because she's a princess. I thought she was better than that considering how she wasn't throwing her status around earlier. That it actually happened I'm less upset about, especially since Reinhold wouldn't be upset about it either.
Guuuuys, you're doing that thing again. You know the thing I'm talking about.
I intend to run late tonight, but I'll cut the thread short if it seems like there'll be a repeat of last night's idiocy.>back to writing
>>28706540I dunno, even in modern times, if a motherfucker tried to kidnap you/kill you, no jury on earth would convict you if you killed the fucker.

>>28706540Yeah that's understandable. However considering the amount of replies you got, can you keep your opinions to yourself next time? Otherwise we'll get the kind of posts that piss off arch.
>>28706540>I thought she was better than thatShe waits in line at restaurants and doesn't abuse her royalty as far as we can tell. Having a vicious temper when it comes to mortal enemies isn't crazy at all.
>>28706563If they'd already been subdued/surrendered like that they would. You can still be convicted for something like that.Regardless, I've said I wanted it to and I'm not interested in arguing or convincing anyone so I'm stopping here.

>>28706555Your creativity is inspiring people to voice their thoughts and opinions. Your Quest is great Arch, we just gotta cool ourselves because you're pretty hot.
>>28706540Attempted kidnapping is a crime punishable by death in Marconetti. Luciana's status didn't really factor in at all, his life was forfeit once he failed. The only part where her status came in is that Marconetti's normal "no torture" rules would have been ignored if he'd actually been captured instead of killed on the spot.
>>28706605Plot Guards You plant a guard-seed. Give it stern orders and a tough shouting at, and more guards just sprout up from the ground!
>>28706605If he doesn't micromanage the troops, it'd be simple--he'll never see them in person, he's got to be at the party.
Guys, Luciana did what she did.Within the context of the setting, it was a perfectly justifiable act.Can we drop it now?
>>28706555 if /tg/ is too much of a shit to make running the quest worth it, would you still want to make a VN? I would legit buy that.Again, sorry for /tg/ being... /tg/. >>28706695So we hope.
>>28706660>late BFQ-tier awful. This quest has surpassed it by far. I participated in every single thread from start to finish, and PGQ blows it out of the water.
>>28706326As the guards scurry off to convey her orders, Luciana turns to Takamaru."Do you think you'd be able to trace where they came from?" she asks. "Perhaps it would be possible to locate their employer from that.""While I am not sure how far back I will be able to track, I will try," Takamaru replies as he walks out onto the balcony, taking care to avoid the blood and human remains that are strewn about.Stretching out his arm, Takamaru chants a long spell in his native tongue, filling the blood-scented air with glowing red Script."Shikigami: Taka no Hane!" Takamaru shouts as about ten bird-shaped pieces of paper materialize before him.The paper birds then float down close to the remains of the attackers for a few moments before flying off in all directions. With a nod of satisfaction, Takamaru leaves the balcony and returns to Luciana's side.>[4/?]
>>28706660Care to tell me what is BFQ to me good anon?sorry for unrelated question>>28706695It was suggested and Archelon seem to think its a good idea
>>28706555Fair enough - sounds good on both counts. Just try and remember that we adore the quest, and the shear amount of shitposting is a direct result of people being emotionally invested into the quest; sometimes too much so.It's a credit to how well you put this all together, honestly.

>>28706890Yeah, I really like Niklaus, I hope he gets more screentime

>>28706844How about Gregory, if he ever has any free time? I mean, with all the comparisons that are made between our current ability and Gregory's when he first started out, he might be able to steer us around some growing pains...
So the theory on the kidnappers from last thread:Since the attacks started after Granache and the time limit to get her was the Ball, both of which have to do with Celestino trying to arrange a marriage for merging Granache and Marconetti together, it's likely that stopping the merging is what the kidnappers are trying to do. Likely their plan was to get Luci to make an example of and either cancel or disrupt the ball to keep things from going smoothly for Celestino. Which means that Marie or Emilio are likely future targets. Either at the ball or afterwards. If Ancolleta is behind this then the spies that are possibly in Granache are probably involved with such a plan against this and would explain why Celestino knew about them(it was his plans to try and merge the countries that spurred them into action).Anyone have anything else? Obviously, we should at least be operating that this one is a possibility(and thus our charge may be in danger) and prepare for it, but any other theories would be appreciated. Also, we should mention this to someone in the story. Probably Marie since she might be in danger and is good with the political stuff.
>>28706950He doesn't have a flexible schedule and really doesn't have the time to teach us properly and Sylvie father isn't a good teacher.(i don't see why you guys are trying to wiggle out of using sylvie.)
>>28706950>Gregory to teach, everI don't think he likes doing the meager teaching that he does. Also I don't think we should worry about not progressing fast enough in magic. Because you see, we have this badass swordsman teaching us all his awesome tricks. The same badass old man who taught gregory. So relax everyone, swordmage powers will arrive in due time.
>>28706984I feel it could be something more than that with that slaver country most likely trying to stir shit.
>>28706984We still need to ask marie about what she thinks on all of this, kidnappings included. She would definitely know better than us.
>>28706702"It is done, Princess," Takamaru says, glancing back outside to make sure that all of his shikigami are gone."Thank you, Takamaru," Luciana says, sighing. "I know that I ask a lot of you, and I appreciate that you've been so understanding.""Don't concern yourself with me," he replies. "I will do whatever I can to keep you happy and safe. That is all.""...I really will miss you when your shift ends, Takamaru," Luciana says, a sad smile on her face.Motioning for her bodyguard to follow her, Luciana starts her long trek to her room. There's blood on her hands and she's not quite able to hide how shaken up she is right now, so it'd be best to retire before her parents or siblings spot her like this. The two of them continue along their way without another word. Luckily, they don't run into any guests as they walk, just a sudden flow of guards who pour past them after doing a quick, nervous salute. Those must be the idiots who failed at their post...They eventually make it to the Princess's room without incident, safely avoiding anyone who Luciana wouldn't want to see her in this state....until she's right in front of her door."Princess Luciana? Good evening, I generally don't see you walking around the castle at this hour," Karel says, giving a deep bow.>[5/?

>>28707011Marconetti and Ancoletta are at odds and Marconetti has an advantage in the army department, but won't attack because it isn't sizable enough to take them down without severe causalties. If it merged with Granache, it's advantage would be much larger. That's a good reason to try and stop this, especially since their other neighboring country marrying into dragon royalty is already scaring the shit out of them.

Emilio's party is tomorrow, and I've done everything in my power to keep what's happened from ruining his big day.""I see," Karel replies, a solemn expression on his face. "their latest kidnapping attempt ruined you date with Reinhold.""I wouldn't call it a date," she says with a bitter laugh."Anyways, I completely understand why you're so upset," Karel says, his eyes showing his firm resolve. "Did you have any clues as to where they came from?""Don't worry, Takamaru's taking care of that," Luciana says, pointing to her bodyguard."I've sent my shikigami... er, something like a familiar to try and pick up their scent," Takamaru says with a nod. >>28707493I could totally get behind thatThough I'm not seeing how it can't just be replicated by wearing rollerskates and casting tailwind. Not to mention that it would require Reinhold to learn rollerskating, which is something which I don't think actually exists?

So, Arch. Quick couple of questions - how does one go about altering spells from their original intentions and forms? Is it a long daunting process, or can anyone do it if they have the training? I remember Nico's Mom used Rose Sphere, which was just a simple color variation of an established spell, but say if you want to alter the spell Luciana used last time (Collusus Hold?) from appearing and grabbing a target to maybe popping out and delivering a right straight instead...?

>>28708013>how does one go about altering spells from their original intentions and forms? Is it a long daunting process, or can anyone do it if they have the training?Depends on how you want to change it.Color changes are the simplest thing ever and literally anyone who can cast magic in any capacity past the usage of scrolls cam manage it, but bigger changes require plenty of work. For example, it took a lot of experimentation and a complete understanding of how Shard Breaker worked for Sylvie to create her own personal variant.>>28708013>but say if you want to alter the spell Luciana used last time (Collusus Hold?) from appearing and grabbing a target to maybe popping out and delivering a right straight instead...?You can use that spell to punch stuff as-is. Okay. I don't even care who it is anymore, as long as we stop being a shut in and make sure to spend it with someone. Not hanging out with people due to anti-waifu sabotage is going to get reinhold sitting in his room all day not speaking to anyone.

Let's just see how things pan out for right now and keep moving along. This is hardly a worse case scenario for anyone involved. Marie's probably going to go check on Luci soon enough, and we'll be with her when she does. We can talk with her then.
As you regain consciousness, you open your eyes... the sun's rays are shining on your face, and you feel quite rested. Deciding not to waste this good start, you quickly get bathed, and then poke around through your closet to find the outfit that Arnaud had made for you specially for the party.Looking over it, the outfit consists of a pair of pants with silver-colored embroidery that runs down the legs and a plain-looking shirt. Covering your entire top is a white jacket with a blue and silver design along the back and sleeves, along with an odd cord that just kind of hands off the front.A bit fancy for your personal tastes, but it's not like it looks bad at all. After you manage to get everything on, you attach your sword to your belt and make your way out of your bedroom and into the living room of the suite.Looking around to see if the Princess is up yet, you see that she's casually sitting on the couch in similarly casual clothes, reading another book."...ah, you're up already," Marianne says as she glances up from her book.>greet the Princess!

>>28708670I guess we can justify it as we got spooked about our charge and worried that their was some vast multi-tiered conspiracy and let paranoia get the better of us.Also seeing just how good Luciana and Takamaru were last night made us feel that our own magic was insufficient for our duties, especially if it looks like the situation is only going to escalate? It's clumsy and kind of selfish, but it's the best I can manage.

Please, let's just go check on Luciana.Let Reinhold get just a bit of hold on his social skills.Either way, going to Luciana or not going to Luciana, could be accused of being metagaming. Let's not go down that road.
>>28709141It is in character for us to say sorry, but for us to go straight to her room, just to say sorry doesn't make sense.(it would have been better to say we are checking up on her, but people feel like metagamming)

Considering everything that happened last night, you kind of want to check to see how Luciana's doing. But it's still kind of early, and you're not sure if she's even up yet.Not to mention the issue of your attire... while it's not like these duds are hard to get around in (and you make a mental note to thank Arnaud for that later), it'd be kind of bad if you got them dirty before the party even started. As such, you head back into your bedroom and change into your standard-type bodyguardly outfit before returning to the living room."Hey Marianne?" you say, remembering something that was bothering you."Hm?" Marianne replies as she looks up from her book."I was thinking about those kidnapping attempts...""Oh?" she asks, placing her book down onto the couch."...you think that maybe they could have something to do with Luciana's father's wanting to join our countries together? She did say that the attacks started not too long after she got back from Granache.""Hm... that is possible," Marianne replies. "I'm not too sure that's the case, though. The attempts started -after- she returned from Granache, which means that they started after father turned her down. As such, she's not really useful for that goal any longer.""Hmm, you have s point there," you say, scratching your head.>[1/?]
>>28709698>Upset Marconetti nobles trying to remove disgraceful princessParanoia
>>28709698>"Hmm, you have s point there," you say, scratching your head.I really hope you don't cave in there Reinhold. There's still the matter of why she had to be taken before the ball.
>>28709733"The kidnapper said she had to be taken before the ball, is anything important happening then?"
>>28709752Besides Celestino trying to get Marie to marry his son, I can't think of anything. Kind of why I still think it has something to do with the countries merging.
>>28709770maybe some one had a similar plan to what luciana had, but for them selves, instead of Reinhold.
>>28709770the speech marks were there to indicate that was something i think rein should say to mari
I kind of just want to learn/practice magic until the ball happens to be prepared, but we probably wouldn't recover our MP in time if we used to much of it. So what should we do after checking on Luci.
>>28709823talk to sylvie since she can probably fixed our botched up spell, then probrably find the other girls and the like.
>>28709823We could... go find our friends and/or get breakfast?
>>28709823no magic. mp restores through sleep and emptying our reserves to learn a spell isn't worth it
>>28709837Why do people think it's botched? We rolled a 19, cast it fine, and then cast it a bunch more times to make sure it worked properly. It did.
>>28709849how about fixing one like clay spread.>>28709856Give me a moment ill show you.
>>28709856>While you can't really figure out how to delay the shots, this seems to be pretty good for a first try. Satisfied that you seem to have this spell down in at least its most basic usageWe can use it, but not mastered it.
>>28709893So? That's because it's a new spell, not because we botched learning it. We still can't turn properly with Tailwind or cast Holy Shine at full strength.Hell, considering we got punched in the stomach on our first Holy Shine cast, and tripped over ourselves/ran into a wall on our first Tailwind cast. That's the most successful we've been on a first try.
>>28709924Anon, I would prefer that we not have to roll a 19 at minimum to gain even basic control over a spell when we can just ask Sylvie for help and have a guarantee of better mastery in less time.
>>28709944I think the roll had little to do with the quality of our control - it was going to be spotty. Learning the spell was probably a lower check than you're thinking.
>>28709944And what I'm saying is we have only basic control over the two spells she already taught us. Except maybe Holy Shine which we needed a repeat lesson for. I'm not seeing any better mastery in less time here.
>>28709698>[2/2]"Besides... if that was their goal, then they'd most likely have left Luciana alone and targeted myself or Emilio instead," Marianne says. "Even though there is no way that I'd EVER marry him, it's fairly obvious that Luciana's father's next move is to try and set me up with him.""Oh yeah," you reply. "You did say that was the main reason for us being invited here for his party.""Exactly," Marianne sighs. "Them attacking last night probably suggests that they wanted to interrupt the party... but there are all kinds of reasons why someone would want that.""Yeah, that guy did say that he was ordered to get her before the party," you reply. "...maybe Ancellotta is involved somehow?""Hm. That's always a possiblity, and Luciana's father's hatred of that country is no secret... them wanting to make him look like a fool in front of nobles from several foreign countries is always a possibility.""Or it could be someone who's become smitten with Luciana and wants to capture her before she can be married off to someone else... to be honest, it could be anything," Marianne says with an exasperated sigh, "and there's no knowing until someone with actual knowledge of the plot itself is found.""The kidnapper that Luciana caught claimed that he wasn't told anything aside from that he needed to be captured before today..." you mumble under her breath."...in any event, thank you for being there to help her last night," Marianne says, looking slightly embarassed. "I'm relieved that she's safe thanks to you, and I'm sure that she appreciated it a great deal as well.""I'd have done the same for anyone else," you say with a shrug. "Messing with people I care about kind of sets me off.""So I've noticed.">anything else to say before you go to see Luciana?
>>28709924>>28709971I rolled the 19 and that was a basic not a mastery of it, imagine if we rolled lower than that. The other two we mastered then and are in the process of refining them.>TailwindIts basically us learning how to control it.>Holy Shinei thought for this one we had to work it out like a muscle. So what i'm saying is can we confidently use the spell in combat.
>>28709944even with sylvie it took time (days iirc) to learn a spell, and we've only got a few hours tops. while i agree we should ask for her help to get the clay shot thing down better (and the angel wings thing since flight is USEFUL) we just don't have the time, and we don't want to use up all our mp when we may need it for whatever shit may go down

Marianne replies, glancing at you."Did you get that note I left for you yesterday?""Yes, I did," Marianne says, smiling slightly. "It was cute."Relieved that your artistic efforts didn't go to waste, you wave goodbye to the Princess and leave the suite that the two of you share, making sure to close the door behind you.Though you're not exactly sure where Luciana's room is, you figure that it would be somewhere close to Elena's... after all, this -is- the wing of the castle where the royal family's residence is. Asking a maid for directions along the way, you find that your suspicion is correct- Luciana's room is two doors down from that of her little sister.Stopping in front of her door, you take a deep breath, and...KNOCK KNOCK KNOCKAfter a few moments, you hear the shuffling of footsteps approaching and then you see the door's handle turn. >>28711290unanimous vote on that spell last thread.so i disagree with you.
"Sure, no problem," you say."O- okay," Luciana says, smiling. "Umm, come on in... I like to think that I keep my room rather clean, so it shouldn't be too offensive," she says as she leads you into her room. After Luciana closes the door behind you, you look around her room... You're rather surprised by the fact that it's several times larger than even your suite, but then you remember that she's a princess and of course her room would be this spacious. You kind of feel bad for Elena in comparison though... her room isn't nearly this large. It seems to be divided into several smaller parts, and you can see her bed peeking through an open door off to the side... makes sense, you guess. Having the area where you entertain guests and the one where you actually sleep being separate. This part is lined with several bookcases and a large table. While you're taking in the sights, Luciana walks up to said table and pulls out a seat for you."Umm... feel free to take a seat and relax," the princess says with a nervous smile."Heh, thanks," you reply as you do as she asked.>[1/?]

>>28711362I think Arch should just use monique quest as a vent so we can get all the bullshit out of our heads. The idea of monique going up to random noblewoman and visibly shaking as a thousand voices urge him to confess his love is hilarious.
>>28711370>PucchiYou mean Puchi.
>>28711369Fuck the flags. Just be the friendly neighbourhood swordie.
>>28711367I swear we've been over this before, but that's a Puchi, from Puchimas, which is a really sillycute spinoff of Idolmaster.
>>28711372That's really creepy. Like holy shit anon. I know that it'd be obvious in person, but the fact that YOU are asking that is hella weird.

>>28711467"There... there's no need to say that, Lucianna. I wish to apologize myself- leaving you in that state. My mind was not in the right place and I needed to cool down. For that I am sorry."
>>28711467>Apologize for what? I'm a soldier and didn't exactly live a sheltered life, so I'm pretty desensitized to that stuff.
>>28711441There's a lot of people with autism here, but I think in this case the problem was actually on your end. Your English is kind of poor. Not horrible, but just wonky enough to cause some trouble. In addition to punctuation (a question should end in ?, for example) you didn't capitalize PC. That exacerbates the root problem, which is that the root notion is weird as fuck. First of all, she wouldn't h ave a PC, she would be a PC, and second, flags aren't really subjective.
>>28711467"I wasn't scared off, I was mad and needed to blow off steam. I would've killed that guy myself if I could've. I should be apologizing to you for running off like that." >>28711472Stop
>>28711467"No problem, it was a bit surprising but it didn't really bother me. I need to apologize for running off like I did as well, the whole 'attempted kidnapping' thing had me a bit high-strung and angry I guess. I probably should have come back after I checked on Marianne."
>>28711467"Uh, no problem, you more or less did the right thing for the situation. You didn't scare me off, I just had to check on Marianne since I'm HER bodyguard."
>>28711494This

>>28711467"It's alright. And sorry for just leaving you like that, but I was actually worried about Marianne."Also, is it common for people being summarily executed after being apprehended? >>28711467"It didn't, actually. I was just worried about Marie is all.If anything I should be apologizing for running off and not coming back."
>>28711467You didn't scare me off, though it was a little weird actually seeing you seriously mad for once. I actually went to go check on Marianne, but decided against going back to see you. I figured you might want to be alone. Or something. Women are such frightening and knowledgeable creatures.

>>28711467"Scare me?? Um, I am sorry if I gave that impression, I didn't mean to. You're not scary. I mean, I've handled much scarier princesses before. It's just that the... aggravation yesterday made me go off the rails a bit, and I got really worried, I'm not really used to being a bodyguard yet, this was the second time I had to do any protecting and last time was a mindless beast with much more help and all I could think of was that I needed to get more magic and I started to train that clay projectile spell right in front of Marianne inside the room and she threw me out and um. I am rambling."

Running on about five hours of sleep a night for the past week has finally caught up to me, so I'm going to call it a night here.I'm not in as terrible a mood as I after last night's thread, so I suppose you guys toned it down some... so I guess I should thank you for that. While I'm far too stubborn to just end this thing outright, I'd much rather not be forced to do anyting drastic just to keep this thing enjoyable to write.Next thread might be tomorrow night, I'm not sure. And to those who actually tried to keep things civil tonight, thanks for playing.
>>28711497I'll give you that a) I should have capitalized PC and b) should have used player in stead of PC, but still, the subject of the sentence is luciana, not "us" or .And I'm aware I completely cocked up the grammar on my second post. After I t was up I want "oh, shit, that's a disgrace."
>>28711602Really, these princesses, they have too much self-awareness and too little self-confidence in a strange way...

>>28711629That's honestly what makes them interesting and my favorite characters in this quest, along with a lot of other reasons. They play each other off people well and while it looks like they would be opposite, they're both the same in the way. Both of their personalities and characterizations are pretty fun to watch.
>>28711621Well if you acknowledge that you're posting shittily, why blame others for having trouble understanding you?

>>28711647I just had a humorous thought that this was in fact all that you could say and you had some horrifuck kind of condition that converts everything you want to say into 'I love you', while internally you're screaming for people to understand you.
