Its worth a shot at least, Momoko might not be the brightest but she is bright enough when it comes to this sort of things, It probably won't but you're tired of hiding from this shark person thing and if it doesnt work you might as well finish this fight. Before it becomes impossible to stand on the building you jump away from it and yell "To the power lines!" as you do. You land perfectly on the cable and keep your balance well enough to avoid falling down. Momoko lands on an adjacent line just as the building finally collapses and both of your are showered with a slight rain of debree and more dust.

At first its hard to make out what is going on then you see his fin circling around just below you and...nothing, you wait for several seconds and the overdeveloped brick wall heads off into another direction.

"Wait, thats where Aomi and Mihiko are hiding!" Momoko yells out and begins chasing after him while running on the cable.

You look around and don't see anything that could help...well maybe except for the cables you are standing on.

And you get your answer almost immediately, "Alright, its worth a shot. What do I do?" At least she's willing to take orders from you so at least that's something, wait isn't this more along the lines of working together...you never thought you'd actually be fighting this way alongside Momoko. You quickly tell her your plan and cut the cable you are standing on, making it like a whip of sorts that is connected to the pole and much more dangerous.

You drop to the ground and promptly grab the cable, it's made of some sort of metal but you'll be assed if someone asks you what its made of. The big shark immediately changes direction and heads straight towards you. You look up at Momoko who is waiting for your signal. The shark keeps getting closer and closer and he leaps from the ground a few meters in front of you and lands face first into the ground as you immediately slid uner him and wrapped the cable around one of its legs.

It doesn't seem to have noticed anything wrong and charges at you. You dodge back, and back, then to the side until you are eventually sorta beneath Momoko. "Time it right and we'll get it." You say.

Momoko cuts it and it touches the shark right before it gets to you, its muscles spasm and he trips, causing the cables to snap. It's currently lying on the ground trying to stand up

As the smell of burnt seafood reaches your nostrils you hear Momoko say, "Now's our chance!" Momoko yells out and you see her glow bright pink, she's readying up her attack.

Really, with Matilda, we were stalling for time as much as anything else, in hopes that one of the Precure could show up and finish her in a non-bloody fashion.

Unfortunately the Precure who turned up was Momoko and she's very weak against Matilda's illusion powers.

You charge forwards and slice open as many wounds as you can on its torso first and then everything else. You need to give Momoko enough chances to aim her attack, whatever it is, it's bigger than before. You leave a large gash on it's chest and several smaller ones on its arms, all of which begin healing almost immediately. "Hurry up! There isn't much time left!" You yell out and you feel a sudden increase in magic around you, Momoko doesn't need to warn you to get out of the way. You're already behind her by the time she holds her sword in the air and pink energy surges into and out of the sword and eventually solidifying into a gigantic sword made out of light. You gulp, it must be at least 10 meters long. "Precure, Holy Blade!" The girl in pink yells out and swings it in a diagonal the best the can following the cut on on the shark's torso.

The shark's skin splits the blade on touch and causes light to spill in all directions. The shark Somehow managed to get its arms in the way of the blade, covering the gash on its torso but its too much even for him and your series of little cuts seem to have been enough form Momoko's magic to seep inside.

Momoko finishes the slice and the blade comes into contact with the concrete and somehow leaves it unscathed despite its apparent power. You might not have had to get out of the way after all.

You blink, dazzled by the blinding light. And see that the shark is kneeling and trying to stand up using his fists as support. He is struggling and he can't seem to just be able to get to its feet again. Whatever wounds he had have stopped healing and despite everything, he is still standing. What a monster.

they potentially are. But they're also a double edged sword. They drain a lot of power and the more overpowered we make them the worse that problem is.

Honestly, it's not so much that shockwaves are overpowered. It's that their balancing factor, their high power consumption, is mitigated fairly well as long as we're close to the seal.

The power thing was far more of an issue while we were dark aligned because were were always running on empty as it was.

You ready your sword and step closer to the hulking grey beast of muscle and teeth. Its the most fun you've had in a long time and its also the closest you've been to dying in a long time. You really need to get your priorities straight one of these days. You grip your blade in your hands and jump-charge towards the almost dead shark.

You're about to bring your blade down on the creature and thats when you hear a very familiar voice, a voice that you hate so much, "I can't let you do that Mirror Blade." Marcus the stealthy chameleon asshole whispers into your ear. You flinch and that's all that he needed to get a good kick to knock you back towards Momoko. You lose your grip on your sword and it lands tip first into the ground besides you.

You quickly leap back to your feet and see that chameleon bastard standing in between you and the shark. The most notable change in its appearance is the fact that he is outright missing an arm. He notices you staring, "Oh this? I had a run in with your sister. I'm frankly surprised you two were still alive after going into the seal room. And I'm just as pleased at the idea of fighting against you."

He taps his cane on the ground twice and he slowly begins to vanish into the ground along with the shark. "But right now I must take care of this beast, he reminds me of you actually."

Goddamn does he EVER shut up. You pick up your blade.
