"I figured I'd see if he could change my new armor to make it more... Olympian, you know? See if I could get a breastplate too." You explain, and she nods her understanding. The two of you chat as she drives, and you eventually arrive at a small apartment.

"Ok, so, Hephy's a pretty nice guy, but he's got a temper as hot as his forges when you push the wrong buttons, so be polite." Nike warns, and you nod. She leads the way, knocking and then entering when the door gives a quiet beep. "Hey Hephaestus!" She hollars, heading deep into the empty house and down a flight of stairs, into the basement. "I came to throw large amounts of money at you!"

"I do enjoy hearing that." A wheezy, gravelly voice responds, as she opens the basement door and steps into a massive room. It's swelteringly hot, and there's workplaces, tools, and machines everywhere. A tall and thin man in casual clothes sits at a table, red haired head down as he intently works. "I just finished that rifle. Who's your friend?"

"This is Bia, my sister! She wanted to get some work done on a Daemonic suit she got!" She explains, dragging you forward. The man turns his stool around to look you up and down, then holds out a hand to shake.

"Nice to meet you." He says, as you shake. "I don't like to faff about and beat around the bush. Let's get straight to work. Charm?" He releases your hand, and holds it palm up.

For the boots, some kind of speed enchantment would be great. Also, add in something that gives it a kick (so to speak) in a fight, maybe make the soles shock people, strong enough that godlings like us are at least lightly stunned by it. For the breastplate, nothing special I'd say. Gauntlets, make them extra sturdy, and magically hard on the top, for better punching. And a restyling all around.

Well, we need an armor restyling otherwise we will end up looking like a christmas tree or an MMO character. Our image is important as we are one of the enforcer of Zeus, we can't go around wearing armor from other pantheons.

A breastplate would useful as it protects some of the most important bits in our body. It would need to be specially designed to not hinder our movements .

For the boots, we need something hard and lightweight as to not slow us down. An enchantment that improve the impacts of our kicks would be nice.

"I'm going to shoot everything!" She cheers, swinging it around and hugging it.

"Well, Zeus stands alone, technically, but everyone is pretty obedient towards him. He's in Seattle. Poseidon has a small coalition and is opposing Zeus openly. He's in Hawaii. Hades is the strongest brother, he has his wife, of course, but they're mostly standing alone. Persephone has a good relationship with her sisters, though. They're in Japan." She explains, counting on her fingers. "Apollo and Artemis are allied, we know that much. Aphrodite has a good deal of allies... Ares has that psycho Enyo on his side." She considers. "That's all I really know, at the moment, but Athena has some files..." She draws out her phone. "Who do you want to know about, specifically?"

"Hades owns a large company in Japan that researches, designs, and creates cybernetics and robotics. The king of the dead is a genius, and has incredible necromantic powers. His queen is able to speak to animals and ghosts, and can make plants thrive or wither with a thought." She explains.

"Nice. What about... Pan and Dionysus?" She considers and reads.

"Pan's nowhere to be found, there's rumors of him in the southern US. Dionysus, the dick, is in France. He's got mind controlling powers, and powers over intoxicants." She explains.

"So... the big question. What do we have on Ares?" You ask, mind drifting to the dangerous godling.

"An English general, he's... twisted. He apparently suffers from PTSD, but that doesn't excuse his bloodlust and psychotic tendencies. He wants to be the one godling to fully ascend, and he's willing to do anything to take the others all down. He's incredibly powerful, skilled in war and battle. He's got Enyo, a Russian Incarnate, at his side." She explains. "She's as dangerous as we are, and with a similar skill and power set."

"Well, the Egyptian, Norse, and Hindu pantheons are strongest. Hindu is actually incredibly powerful. The Abrahamic religions all power YHWH, but he's not been seen or heard from in a long, long time. Almost as long as our original forms." She considers. "The Egyptians favor sending out their spawn, lesser forms of themselves to serve as assassins. The Norse favor sending spirits, especially Dwarven hit teams. The Hindu don't make much effort to challenge us, they're confident in their station. The Japanese are a big issue, Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi actually captured Apollo and Artemis not long ago. Athena has some plans to try and rescue them, but nothing concrete yet..." She rubs her neck.

"Jeez. What about Thor? That's... honestly the only god I really know much about." You point out.

"Dude's chill, most of the time, But... when he does decide to act against us, he always comes himself. Being in Midgard forces him to act on our level, though, so we can usually force him back." She explains.

"Right... So what about like... Odin? Or Freyja?" You ask, naming two of the gods you have heard about from the Norse.

"Well, Odin's sleeping. Like, millennia long sleep. I dunno what's up with that, but it's not world ending, apparently. As for Freyja, she's got a rivalry going with Athena. She actually coaches her in tactics and warfare every now and then." She explains.

"Right. So... Apollo and Artemis were captured? We going on a rescue mission then?" You ask, interest peaked.

"Yup! Soon. Athena is still making plans and gathering resources, but it shouldn't be more than a couple of months away." You nod at her explanation.

You pass the time with small talk, and eventually, Hephaestus hands over the charm, which has turned from black to gold. You activate it, and golden armor wraps around your arms and legs, covering from fingertip to elbow, and toe to knee, with a breastplate and a mask covering your lower face.

"First, gauntlets and boots. They're heavily reinforced, and contain kinetic energy manipulators. The gauntlets can create a kinetic energy barrier, about three foot in diameter. Boots can expel energy from the soles to let you leap or pounce with incredible speed. Both have basic energy projection abilities that work on contact, basically just lets you hit harder." He explains. The gauntlets and boots are both marked with a Theta symbol on the top of the hand and on the knee, and projection from them are rings that go out over the entire face of the armor.

"The breastplate is pretty basic, it's made of the same material as the rest of it, and has no real special effects." It is marked with a Tau symbol in them idle of the chest, with rings radiating out from it, same as the gauntlets. It covers your chest and upper back, and has a gorget that guards your neck.

"Mask is a life support system, supplies you with clean air, and when the rest of the armor is active, it will also extend a very thin field around your body that should allow you to survive in all but the most extreme environments. Walk in a desert, yes. Swim in lava, no. Swim in a poor, yes. Bottom of the ocean, no. Get it?" The mask covers your chin, cheeks, nose, and cheekbones around to your ears, and wraps around in a band around the back of your head. In them middle on the front is a Tau symbol, with rings radiating out from it that go along the entire armor.

"Always a pleasure." He replies, grinning. "Give 'em hell for me. Especially that prick Ares." He says the name with a scowl. Bad blood there. "And you, I expect my payment within a week." He declares, pointing at Nike, who grins and gives a big thumbs up

"I'll put it to good use. Is there a limit to how long or how hard I can push them?" You ask, fiddling with the charm a little.

"Not really. Try not to push all f them at once, like... a powered leap while in a flaming house to punch someone in the face. It won't breakdown or fail, but they will get hot, and you might burn yourself." He explains.

You and Nike say your goodbyes and duck out, leaving pleased and heavy in loot.

"So, what we wanna do now?" She asks, leading to the car.
