Your eyes bolt open, seriously you can't have even a few moments of peace and quiet whenever you try to actually relax. You can't let anyone see you right now, not like this and especially not one of dad's minions!

You look around and your sister is smiling, not realizing the doom that will befall both of you if you stay here for much longer. Within the same motion you stand up from your lawn chair and grab your sister's. As soon as you get ready to drag her to her feet to begin dragging her you feel someone tug on your arm, the same arm that's holding your sister and you fall on her, knocking both her and you to the ground. You land on your back you are momentarily disoriented.

Before you manage to recover you feel someone with soft hands pinch both of your cheeks HARD. Due to the surprise your struggles make your cheeks hurt more from your mysterious' assailant's attack.

Then you hear your sister whisper, "Can't you relax? What if the person inside saw us jump away from the back yard? We don't want to draw too much attention, remember?"

"B-but-" You try to protest.

"Its easier to explain us than hanging out with someone that can many meters in the air. Can't you relax for once? Don't you want to try and have a normal life?" You feel something in your hear but you're not sure what.

She looks at you in the eye, you look away. Now that you think about it, she might be the only person that might be able to make you do that. Aomi stands up and rightens both of the lawnchairs and sits down again where she was and this time leans further back with a deep sigh. You keep worrying about the the sounds inside the house and you reluctantly sit down.

Momoko is still talking in the cellphone with someone and she seems to be smiling way more than usual, and that certainly is an accomplishment.

You stiffen when the door to the back porch door opens and woman with maroon hair walks out with a jar of lemonade and some glasses. "Hello girls~" she sings out and Momoko waves at her while still on her cellphone. You get a sudden flashback of the same woman yelling at you for breaking a vase, wait that wasn't you that was Momoko's memory. You get shivers down your spine for some other reason, you're not sure what.

She sets the stuff down on the table and her head turns to look at you...oh god is she staring please don't stare.

Misa has opened her eyes and looks like she's about to say something.

Okay, short form. We are Mirror Blade, Ishikuno Masako. We were made from a memory shard based on super pink idiot Momoko does she even have a last name / Cure Blade, and for quite a while we had issues where seeing her face or hearing her voice made us want to shove her teeth down her throat. However, due to our ridiculous paranoia and arrogance, we actually got along better with Cure Axe and their mascot, Lu Bu the bear, than with any of the assholes on Team Evil, so just after we let them steal Misa's memories to create our sister, Aomi / Mirror Axe, we switched sides and let Lu Bu convert the two of us into Seal Guardians. Then a mind virus almost killed us and got split off into a new sort of twin we call Red, and then we got into a seriously fun fight with a shark. As things stand, we just apologized to Misa for letting the bad guys make an evil clone of her (and actually trying to help them), passed out in the street, and now we're hanging out with Momoko and Aomi.

I've left out a lot of fun characters and events, and made it sound probably a lot more lolrandom than it actually is.

You do your best to sink back into the furniture and you get a flood of memories about Momoko's less pleasant times with this woman. She must be her mom, mostly yelling and minor chastising. Still you do our best impression of a towel and make you seem more insignificant.

Aomi was going to say something but is taken aback by your reaction and then she intervenes in the best way possible. "Oh maa'm nice to meet you! Don't you think my sister looks cute in that outfit? We had the culture fair today and since she wasn't feeling well after she was done working Momoko offered to let us hang out here while she recovered." She says in the most cheerful tone she can muster, you don't think you'd be able to fake that.

The woman turns to Aomi and you're able to relax. "And we was in school wearing that?" She laughs, "Momoko doesn't wear the stuff I make for her."

You see from the corner of your vision the pink-haired girl burrowing her face in her hands after hanging up and muttering a very tired sounding "Mom"

"You too look an awful lot like my girl and Misa." She continues. and Aomi answers without any fear confusion and other things that are usually on your mind, "I know right, we were pretty surprised when we met them too!" And Aomi laughs along with Momoko's mom. Momoko is burrowing her face deeper into her hands and you're completely dumbfounded.

The woman goes back into the house and after a few seconds your sister say, "See? Thats how its done. She has no reason to suspect what we really are."

She at least kind of had an independant existence, even if it was dependant on us. There's a strong case to be made that both the person we call "Momoko" and Masako are just pieces of the original Momoko.

So strategy session? I'd think we want Aomi as seal defense always, since she's stronger there and we don't want her hurt. And since she got choked last time some backup would be nice. I don't think we really want the responsibility for leading all of the rest though. Not sure who to give her though.

At least part of the objective is to protect Shield and Spear, so we should probably divide those two between the teams.

So Aomi and Michiko as seal defense? And the rest on offense. I have a feeling that if we keep Shield in the defensive group, we'll regret it. And give leadership to Momoko on Offense and Aomi on Defense. Momoko will be willing to listen to us and would be a less offensive choice to Misa. Technically has the most combat as experience as well.

As much as we do break into three natural units, we really haven't got enough people to justify breaking ourselves up into little sub-cliques. What we really need to work on is communication. We'd have never known Michiko and Amano were in trouble if we hadn't left the seal room. We only found out about Aomi afterwards, and Marcus actually got one of his filthy hands around her neck. We oughta talk to Lu Bu, see if he can't rig up some kind of hands-free magic radios, and then wear them goddamn everywhere.

We should also postpone the strategy talk until all of our members are present. Especially you clods who want to split Michiko and Amano up. How can you propose that without giving them a say?

Because they're not (or at least, weren't) actually that attached to each other and they're the main point of failure.

Keeping them together just makes them a more tempting target. Splitting them up means they probably can't take both crystals at once, and if they manage to take one we can redouble our defence on the last one.

Besides, putting each of them in a team with two veterans shoud accelerate their learning greatly.

We should probably abuse the fact that we're almost an identical triplet and see if we can't spread some disinformation about our team formation to the enemy.
