Happens. Hopefully the other two are still around.

The room is only dimly lit by the light of the holo near the wall. The movie is old enough that the holo is in screen mode, projecting a flat image in the air instead of the three dimensional ones almost everyone is familiar with already.

The movie is so bad it goes around and becomes good out of sheer badness. There's about a dozen empty pizza boxes on the table, about as many beer packs, and Mai is leaning in against you as you both laugh at the actress as she cries and runs through a wood, fleeing from a badly designed alien robot as it somehow manages to roll on tiny wheels through the unever floor.

As expected, she tumbles and falls.

Mai: "Oh wow, so that's where that cliché got started, uh?" -she's dressed in comfortable cotton pants and a sleevless tshirt, her hair actually loose for a change, leaning on your right side.

Ned: "Well, even bad traditions had to start somewh--" -you turn to speak to her and end up staring at eachother just a inch apart

Mai: "..Ami is always telling me how much you take care of her at work..." -she says, holding your gaze

Ned: "Well, she's a really nice girl, and a hard worker, so it's my pleasure."

Mai: "Is it?" -as you nod- "Ned... you know a bit about my past, right? I'm actually completely new when it comes to... well... actual relationships." -she lingers where she is

As tempting as it would be to have Ned give her a sales pitch for coupledom, I think it might be more appropriate to see him..struggle is the wrong word, but something akin to that or just holding himself back while trying to be completely sincere and genuine. Maybe mention that we might not be the easiest guy to make a go of it with, we're a bit of a workaholic and only going to get busier in the foreseeable future, and maybe we don't exactly have the best track record (or any track record if I'm remembering our bio correctly) but we think she's worth making the leap for. Mai: "Morning. You can use the bath in the second floor if you want. Im sure some of Ami's clothes would fit you if you would like to get changed into something clean."

A shower later, everyone is enjoying breakfast

Well, Eldric lives in a penthouse near the studio. Aura, Okaba and the silver fighters all share the penthouse and top two floors of a luxury building. Brass has his own house inside the studio grounds, so he can enjoy having a old-fashioned house with a white fence but still have a lot of security, a manor which he doesnt really use that much, and a vavation house on Italy. Python has a penthouse and a small apartment in his olf neighborhood he never got rid of. Except for Aura, Okaba and the silver guys, everyone is pretty spread out.

In the end, together with Mai, we convince Ami to move into town. She can go back to the ranch whenever she wants and she'll keep her room there, but it won't hurt to at least have a place close to her workplace to have a change of clothes and extra stuff.

A phone call is all it takes to get Eldric to happily volunteer himself to help Ami hunt for a floor.

Taking Mako out shopping is a more complicated experience, and we get Mai along to help with picking out her wardrobe, trusting she will feel more comfortable with spmeone she has been spending time with. Somehow, Aura got wind of this and decided to tag along as well.

Mako: "I like my dresses..."

Ned: "You look nice in them, but you should get new clothes from time to time"

Aura: "I can't wait to play dressup with a princess-like real-size doll!"
