"So, is there anything in particular you were hoping to see here?" she asks you.

"My dad tells me your people are great warriors," you tell her. "I'd like to meet some of them. Are there any children about my age? Do they start fighting that young in your culture?"

"We train our children almost from birth. This world is very harsh, and sadly, not all of us are given the luxury of a childhood in peace. So, we teach them to defend themselves, to survive anything the world can throw at them," she explains. "That isn't to say that we do not love and nurture our young ones; we simply make sure they have the skills they need to live long, prosperous lives full of glory."

You cautiously approach her; since she is training on dummies and not on other trainees, she is using real swords. You doubt that they're energy enhanced, but you'd rather not find out. As you get closer, she finally does acknowledge your presence, spinning towards you and holding the tip of the blade in her left hand to your throat. She looks you up and down.
