don't know. personally i see there being two types of routes, one for which girl is picked, one for overall plot, and you mix them together for your final story (though that seems like a fuckton of work)

While Karel quickly hurries over to the closed-off corner where Leopold is resting, you and Luciana carefully navigate around the rows of beds, taking care not to bump into anyone. Though Luciana stops a few times to greet a few injured guards who are actually awake, it doesn't take long for you to make it over to where your friends are.

"...you may find a slight loss of fine motor cotrol for the next week or so, but you'll be back to a hundred percent once the nerves fully attach," the nurse says to them.
"This will be a bit of a bother," Gerhard says as he moves his fingers on the arm which had been shattered last night in a way that kind of reminds you of a centipede's legs. "Had I known that beforehand, I'd have opted to have my shattered bones healed instead," he sighs.
"At least you had a choice at all," Takamaru shakes his head.
"I didn't mean to offend, Takamaru... by the way, you may want to turn to the right."
"Eh?" he says as he does as Gerhard said...

Karel then joins the three of you as you walk to the door, but parts ways with you once you make it into the hallway since her mother's room is in the opposite direction from your suite.

"As for me, I regret to say that I lost my composure and attacked that man in a blind rage when I saw what he had done to Takamaru's arm, only to find that he could convert his body into stone," he says with a disgusted sneer. "And even more foolishly, I doublecast Boost and punched him in the chest as hard as I could in hopes of shattering him outright... but sadly, I was only able to punch a hole in him and that ill-advised stunt shattered all the bones in my arm."

That's a glare that you're all too familiar with, it's just like the way that Citrine would look at you when warning you against running off to get revenge on someone who'd wronged her in some way. And while it may feel kind of nice to have someone else care about you that much, you never were too fond of making people worry.

It takes maybe thirty seconds to make it down the hall and to your suite. Opening the door, you see that Princess Marianne is sitting right where she was when you left her... but Melanie seems to have joined her while you were out.

Come to think of it, there really wasn't much of a chance for her to tell him up until now. You're still pretty surprised to find out that they're this close, though.

"And what did I tell you?" Gerhard says with an amused smirk. "If you'd listened to me from the start and told her how you felt to begin with, the two of you could have been together months ago."
"Wait, so you knew that Nicolette liked Melanie this entire time?" you ask.
"I had an inkling," he replies. "And I've been trying to coach Miss Melanie here for -quite- some time to build up the courage to confess her feelings, but I suppose things worked out on their own," he sighs.
