It turns out that ALL of the dumb fan theories are true. Except for the one about Naruto being the reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths. He's actually the reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths' SON. Because that's so much less special snowflaky.) Anyway, where was I? Right, it started with Obito chaining the Tailed Beasts to his will and fighting Naruto and Bee with them. They defeated them, then it was Gai, Kakashi and Naruto against Obito directly. Then the real Madara joined the fight, and they fused the Tailed Beasts together into an incomplete Ten-Tails. The entire ninja army showed up to fight it, and broke the villains' control over it. So it went berserk and unleashed a horde of demons. Then the previous Hokages came back to life in an extremely contrived manner and joined the fight. They defeated the Ten-Tails, then Obito absorbed it and became a super-jinchuriki. They fought him and took him out after Sasuke and Naruto merged the Susano with the Nine-Tails, extracting the Ten-Tails and separating it back into the nine demons. Then Madara ate the demons, including ripping the ones in Naruto and Killer Bee out. Madara kills Sasuke and Naruto, Gai holds him off while deus ex machinae revive them and they spend time talking to the Sage of Six Paths and learn that they're the reincarnations of his sons, and that's what that bullshit "child of prophecy" thing was. That brings us up to the present. Oh, and add in about six utterly pointless multi-chapter flashbacks that had no relevance to the conflict at all. It's such bullshit. I totally understand the idea of this quest being a palette cleanser from the actual series' garbage.

I think that a darker Naruto would be a lot more fun to explore than a good Naruto simply because we've already seen a good one. So maybe Naruto doesn't sacrifice people he cares about to gain power, but why would he care about anyone outside of that small small circle? The Hypno mission is your worst mistake in terms of depriving stamina usage. The shipwreck is somewhat more forgivable because it was due to story related reasons (the same reasoning applies for the -1 in tenacity we received for the illness), but Kurojo losing 35% just from moving around is closing in on the problems you caused in the Hypno mission. You wanna impose a stamina cost on moving from place to place? Fine, but it should never be that heavy. You should take into account the number of encounters you're planning to have in the thread (and possibly in the next if the stamina level carries on over).

I've seen this sorta thing happen before to QMs who have huge fanbases. Criticism starts to fade into white noise due to how often people have a problem with what you do, and how often they criticism everything and anything.Part of why I hate big quests.

It was...well, enough to make a man lose faith in his playerbase. I am thankful some folks who follow his stuff aren't that level of retard, even if they get frustrated with the QM's defense reflex to being told he's done bad.But you're right. It is a bad attitude to take, and one that is really poor to keep. I'm chalking it up to being exhausted, since he tends to do that rather often. But he never runs discussion threads, so it's impossible to sit him down and get him to talk with a square head on his shoulders (short of trying to interrupt Quest time, which is in and of itself a dick move)But I've said it before, Prof is a pretty chill guy. I don't think he looks down on people as lesser then his mighty opinion of how things should be done. I think he simply doesn't want that to be the focus, so he tries to get it out of the way quickly, and move onto the story bits, which are his favorite quite clearly.So, real things to discuss? Certainly. Maybe we will get a chance one day. Hate to see the popularity ruin QM-player communication this way.And a good night to you too, Anon.
