I WANTS THE FIRST SLICE!

Gerhard's specialty is assassination, using his bare hands for the most stealth. Mostly he likes to sneak in, crack someone's skull, and then sneak back out.

While he does know plenty of magic, it's a force of habit of his to abstain form its use due to the fact that the light and sound involved destroy whatever stealth that the caster may have had beforehand.

He does best in a one-on-one situation, and crowd scenarios like during the assassin attack earlier is pretty much his absolute worst-case scenario. He overprioritizes defense over offense and things just turn into a battle of attrition.

And when he's in a panic due to either anger or rage, he tends to get careless and desperate, going right for a large spell in order to take out the opponent as quickly as possible. That's how he busted up his arm while fighting the rogue guard captain, and it's also part of why he got wrecked so badly by Arnaud. (not that he stood a chance to begin with)

In terms of base power, he's above Reinhold, Nicolete and the others while below Niklaus and the rest of the castle's heavy hitters. But Reinhold's probably more helpful in a prolonged fight since he's not in danger of self-destructing in a panic. unless you guys decide to make him so that, anyways
