You don't want to go into boring detail of what happens next. The gist of it is that the personal guard of the princess came in and found the mess. She took care of the princess and pulled you out of the ground. After checking with what you assume are the best armourers and mages available to the palace they placed you in the princess' room. Which features a lot of red and shades of red that you approve of.

The view outside let's you see the city. By the architecture you guess that you are somewhere in the eastern central parts of the continent. Fate has a role in store for you here and you could harken to it, but you don't really have to.

After another day you are brought before an old man who tries to take hold of you. Probably Captain of the Guard or something. You could let him use you or you could mess with heir heads and think that the girl is the only one with he right to hold you.

When the old man tries to take a swing with you he feels your heat through the hilt, which was also made of metal. He drops you unto the ground and starts cursing loudly. After that incident you are handled with a lot more care. Eventally you are brought before the girl again and she tries to pick you up. She succeeds but her hands are shaking because of the weight and your tip is pointed to the ground still. This will take a while...

"I don't understand... Why has it chosen me?" the girl asks her bodyguard, "This sword seems to have a will of it's own, can't it see that I'm just a failure..?"

"My lady, please don't say that... You need to stand proud as the head of house Elohim..." the elder woman tries to comfort her.

There is a whole lot more talking, but frankly you don't give a shit since it's nothing important. Mortals talk too much anyway...

A relatively boring week passes by and you get outfitted with a fancy scabbard. The princess doesn't really use you or anything, she's too weak to swing you around. She has at least taken up a few lessons in sword fighting. Though the styles of swords are very different in this land.

The girl is apparently still ten. So no wonder she has weak arms. She seems to be the heir of some noble house. Apparently her parents are dead and she was an only child. She has barely any friends and is constantly hounded by assassins from other houses. She mostly stays in the estate, which isn't a palace after all, oh and the crown was just some memento of her mother. She learns about the world through tutors and only sees the actual outside world through the windows of the estate.

Seems like it will be a long time before you see more action. Oh well, guess you'll have to play the long game or something. It might get boring. So maybe you should do something to pass the time.

At first you were pretty bored. But it seems that Eleha is a vary hard and diligent worker. She focuses most of her time into getting fit. She eats a lot and works to gain as much muscle as possible. After half a year she is ready to use you for practice. She also pogresses leaps in bounds in how to talk with people because of your encouragement. She turns out to be quite gregarious and gains a lot more confidence with you praising her every step of the way.

She even convinces some maids to let her dress up as a commoner and go out to play with children her age. She tells you all about the tales of the friends she makes. She apparently even became one of the leader figures of the children, How did she achieve that you'll never know.

One day she seems to be intent on bringing you with her. You obviously protest and try to convince her otherwise but she has none of it. Dammit she has grown a bit too confident...

A psychopath has no empathy at all (due to brain damage in a specific part of the brain). Gutts gets VERY torn up about griffith, caska, and all those other people he loves.
