Friendly reminder before we get too carried away with the tank shenanigans, we can't outfit this thing with gunpowder weapons even if we overskill to make them manually. Trove might be able to use black powder cannons due to class fiat, but that's as far as it goes.

Has to be something we're not directly operating probably. the problem with guns is that they have too high level requirements to make and equip within the context of the game. dropping an asston of cheap alchemist firebombs in a hole and hooking it up to a basic(ingame) trap on the other hand provides far beyond the explosive power needed for a canon so it is feasible simply because the author(of LH. not the quest) has underestimated the West's love of shooting stuff and explosions.

There's a pretty extensive pile of shit in the old archives on /a/ people were inventing. I was making an airship fleet coupled with a railroad service and abuse of the bags of holding for transport purposes.

I personally think if we use weapons for THIS race we should go with basic wacky races tricks like oil slicks, caltrops, smokeskreens(vent the steam/smoke in a different direction?) and so on. That way we can say we were using nonlethal protection designed for running away from high level monsters.

I think Mamare said if someone like Shiro tried to put on anything other than cloth/leather, he wouldn't be able to move. At all.
