Welcome to Transformers Quest 4: Virtue and the Grim Consequences Thereof

Made some more changes to the rules (rules are subject to change to bring you a better quest):
Skill has been renamed Dexterity
Firepower has been removed as it is a seriously narrow attribute, weapons now have there own damage ratings dependent on their quality.

As it stands- We will use the highest(or most appropriate) stat for combat
Strength- Melee stat
Agility- Melee and Ranged stats
Dexterity- Melee and Ranged stats
Perception- Ranged stat

Rank- (for clarification)Goes from 1-10. Ranks represents the status of an individual through the resources they have, the amount of people who think

highly of you and the rank of those people.
(In other words, Krackens' rank 1 means he has next to no resources, a few friends with equally low status, and any others he does know him think very little of him)

You can now transform and teleport the same turn, though I will be limiting us to two actions a turn.
I had wanted to have it so that transforming and abilities couldn't be used in the same turn in order to balance some abilities and forms out but slag it, its more fun this way.

All this will be subject the Rule of Cool, as is the Transformers way.

Last Time

The tunnel ends at a four way split. The side paths being more tunnels while the way ahead was a stairway going up.

Climbing it for several flights your group enters a vast room, easily a couple square kilometers large. All around are small shanty like buildings,

storehouses made of easily assembled plastic, tents of tarp and tin roofed hovels.

The stairway exits through an arch made of bronze that sits somewhere close to the middle of the room.

Your hear a raised voice not to far off and your group moves towards it with caution. Peering around a stall you see a group of refugees standing in

a loose semicircle around a figure who stood on the top of a shack and was shouting passionately at the crowd.

You freeze upon seeing the figure and an old, bitter anger swells in your spark.

"Pax."

The market is cavernous room, several kilometers square and one high. The walls numerous tiles made of the same yellowed plastic that permeates Urayas' architecture, the ceiling and floor are metal and oxidised redish brown. On a wall ahead is a large bronze Autobot sigil, tarnished with age. On the wall opposite is an equally large but long dead holoprojecter.

Seeing the figure in the distance you stride out of cover and move towards the group. Behind you Gyro calls your name quietly while clutching the Energon Converter. Copper merely looks around with a glance, shifts the junky bundle on his shoulder, and stomps out after you. Gyro follows shortly while muttering to herself.

You move between stalls and tents, teeth grinding and eyes locked on the familiar looking bot on tin shack. Red and blue, tall and broad, he is gesturing wildly. As you get closer you here part of his impassioned speech:

"-e have to unite! All of us! Even now, on the verge of extinction Megatrons' forces are letting up! With Cybertron going dark our only choice is to leave. We have to stand together! All of us are one! But scattered as we are there is no hope of surviving. Altihex, Tarn, Praxus, they all fall one after another because they think they can outlast the shadow of despair that consumes us! We h--"

You tune out the rest and let the tension drain out with a sigh. Your pace slows as you walk towards the group and examine the orator more closely.

It wasn't him.

Pax, Orion Pax, had been a bot of stoic self assurance. He could be persuasive when he wanted to be, something you had tried to cultivate in the young bot back when you trained him and his squad, but he didn't wax poetic about darkness and shadows. Straight to the point and commanding, that's why you made him squad leader. He didn't plead, none of your recruits did. As bitter as you felt about the past there was still some respect in your spark. Respect where respect was due.

Coming up to the group you take a place in the back alongside your comrades. Next to you is a well polished bot of red and white who stands with his arms crossed and a cynicle smirk on his face.

He turns slightly to you then looks back to the Pax look alike and says "According to the bigrig up there the Autobots have built some massive ship, and are leaving Cybertron." In a more troubled voice he adds "He also says Cybertron is dying."

"The world's ending, tell me something i don't know." you say sideways to the other bot, earning a chuckle, then you focus on the Autobot.

"Three days from now the ArkII will be leaving Cybertron. It will take the Autobots towards the galactic core, to the comonwealth worlds that have managed to escape the war so far. There we can rebuild! We can gather our strength and the Autobots can strike back at the Decepticons! Their reign of terror won't last! Our exodus will mark a turning point in the war! Join us in the fight, and Cybertron will not have died for nothing! With Optimus Prime to guide us we will turn the tide and defeat Megatron! Our cause is just! Join us in the fight for peace! Show that you will never surrender, no matter the cost!"

"Autobot propaganda." Gyro huffs. Looking around she sees someone she recognizes and walks off.

Next to you Copper stands silently with a conflicted look on his face.

As the Autobot up on the shack takes a small break to gather his thoughts you call out.

"What do you mean 'Cybertron won't die for nothing'?' He looks at you, others turning to the sound of your growling voice. "You're saying Cybertron's dying?"

His shoulders fall and he nods, "Yes."

A flurry of hushed conversation begins around you.

"And your saying, that that, " you snarl "Is worth the price?"

"What?" he looks at a loss.

You shoulder your way through the crowd and get closer to the Autobot on his tin pedestal.

"I'm asking you," you point at him "If you think the death of our species is worth the freedom of those left."

He looks confused, "Freedom is, freedom is the right of all-"

"You rust brained fool." you interrupt him, "Freedom means nothing if it kills you and everything else!" there is a murmur of approval from the other neutrals around you. The Autobot looks to his friends, a large green bot standing next to the shack and a small blue one sitting a the counter of a stall on the other side. He stays silent, gathering his thoughts.

"Two thousand years!" you roar, "Two thousand slag sucking years! That's all it took for you and yours to kill an empire, our world!"

"It wasn't us! It was the Decepticons! They just want to fight and destroy, to steal everything and they answer to no one! Just the tyrant Megatron! The say that if you have power you have the right to do whatever you want. That isn't right."

"Its also no different then how things usually go." you reply, somewhat bitterly.

"What?!" he shouts indignantly "Megatron is a murderer, he uses fear and force to get his way."

"The senate was the same!" someone shouts out.

"They deserved what they got" calls another.

"Honestly when we traded sixty of them for one I thought it was a good deal." You hear the red and white bot quip from behind you.

Before he can say anything else you roar. "Do you know what we were? How great we were? One third of the galaxy was under our control. Primitives called us gods. We could shape planets! We could BUILD, planets. Now look at us!" you gesture at the surrounding crowd. Few looked in top shape, even less looked like they had all their pieces. Around them lay the cavernous market place. A ramshackle gathering of detritus and scrap in an attempt to mimic former glory.

"Two thousand years of war, and this is all that's left! Uraya, this rusted waste pit, was the last of true piece of Cybertronian culture. It wasn't the pretty part, but it was all that was left. Our colonies fall one after another,
either to alien conquest or our own infighting! Two thousand years of killing art, mangling science, slaughtering any too weak to fight and betraying friends! Two thousand years of slag-sucking WAR all for the sake of what!! TELL ME!!!!"

The crowd, who had be shouting their own thoughts alongside you fell silent at that. It was an eerie, uncomfortable silence that engulfed the entire cavern.

The young Autobot growls in anger and jumps off the shack. Marching through the crowd he moves up to you, stopping just short of ramming his chestplate into yours.

This close it's remarkable how similar he is to the Sentry officer you trained all those long years ago.The windshields of his alt on his chest, exhaust piping on his shoulders, the same color scheme, right down to the faceplate and helmet. He wasn't Pax though. He carried an air of self importance, like he demanded respect for reasons beyond who he was.

You glare at each other for a moment.

"Now tell me, do you honestly think Megatron waged this war to just kill everything? That he wouldn't have stopped if your Prime hadn't just given him leadership?" you ask through gritted teeth.

His shoulders bunch up and he looks like he's about to strike you when the small blue Autobot puts a hand on his arm.

"Easy there Pyro, we don't need to do this." he says.

Pyro, the Pax impersonator, looks to the other bot, then to his other side to where the big green one is standing. The large bot just shakes his head.

Pyro shrugs of his friends hand. "Fine. You're right." he exhales "Can't waste time on the lost." he says and turns to march back through the crowd.

The big green Autobot follows while the blue one stays a moment.

"Soory 'bout him. Gets kinda worked up sometimes." he looks at your glaring face, then down to Copper who stands next to you, junky bundle over one shoulder and rifle cradled in his other arm.

The blue bot just nods and jogs off to catch up to his friends. The crowd around you begins to disperse and gather in thieir own groups.

Copper gives you a light, friendly punch in the leg. "Thought y'were gonna mash the wee bot."

"Thought about it." you say.

"Bravo!" the red and white bot says with a small clap. "That will put the self righteous blowhard in his place, for a little while at least. If you fellows need anything you come to me all right? Names Knockout, I specialize in bodywork and detailing, with a minor in repairs." With a short bow he moves off into the mess of tents and stalls.

"Well that was something." You turn to see Gyro walking towards you and Copper.

"And where've you been." Copper asks.

She jerks a thumb behind her."Met some old friends of mine. Traders. They say if we don't want to go with the Autobots they have another way off planet."

You look to the side and see that despite what just happened half of the crowd has gathered around the Autobots with cases of personal items and small gravlifts carrying their wares.

You look back to Gyro. "Details?" you ask gruffly.

"Right. So according to my friends the Autobots have a dropship on the edge of the city to take them to this Ark of theirs. My friends say the have a transport ship hidden in Praetorus Wharf. It's pretty far away, will take about a week on foot but they have a gravskiff we can take. Thanks to us being such good friends they've offered to take us there and bring us off world if we help defend them on the trip. Oh also, " she reaches into a side compartment on her thigh and pulls out three small circular devices,"Managed to get these off him. Comms to keep us all in touch."

Taking the commlink you place it on your collar, Copper and Gyro doing the same.

Seems you have to decide what to do next, though the thought of leaving Cybertron doesn't sit well with you.

I'm not real familiar with the Transformers mythos. Is cybertron on the verge of exploding or is it just a shithole of a planet that nobody really wants to stay on anymore because of all the fighting and devastation?

Hmm. I'm kinda torn between the two choices. I can see Kraken going with the Autobots to watch over the undoubtedly mass amounts of desperate Cybertronians going with them and make sure they stay out of trouble and/or don't fall sway to Autobot propaganda, but on the other hand the traders might be more of the type of people who he protected as a Sentry. Plus no indoctrination or active recruiting.

All of those stats could be used for both melee and ranged. Strength could be used for recoil control, allowing one to keep a bead on a target despite a heavy rate of fire, while perception could be used to read an enemy's moves and react accrdingly.

You grumble a bit, mulling the choices over in your head. On one hand those traveling with the Autobots will need someone to keep an eye on them.

You look to the group and see Pyro glaring your way. On the other hand, you don't want to deal with pompous young bots with hair trigger tempers on a battlefield.

You look to your companions; "What do you think?"

Gyro shrugs, "I'd prefer going with the traders. They are friends of mine."

"Ah can't say f'sure." Copper say, "On one hand, large group like that," he tilts his head towards the Autobot group, "are bound to draw attention, but they got the firepower t'deal with most o' Decepticon w'might run inta."

You growl to yourself.

"We'll decide later."

Motioning to Copper you lead the three of you off to where Knockout went.

Moving around empty stands and booths you come to a tent made of blue plastic tarp. Over the opening at the front is a metal sign with the word BodyShop etched into it.

You enter and find the place a disordered mess of tools and part. A single large metal worktable dominates the center with plastic shelves arrayed around it. The table has oil spatters and burn marks on it.

You see Knockout busily packing tools into cases and he looks up as you enter.

"Hello friends, what can this humble repairbot do for you?"

Copper places the bundle on the table and unwraps it, Knockout recoils slightly when he sees the wreck you've been carrying.

"Well, that look nasty."

"Can you fix him?" you ask.

"But of course! For a price." he says, eying the Energon Converter Gyro is holding.

You should have known.

You glance over to Gyro, a seasoned businessbot who smirks at you in return.

Having seen his glance she asks "Well, you wouldn't happen to need a bit of Energon would you?"

"Well," he says, eying the converter again, "It has been a little.. dry around here recently."

"Got an Energon siphon?"

"A what?" He looks a little confused for a moment. "Oh! Yes of course."

"Alright!" She taps a knuckle of your sternum, earning a look from you. "The chief here has Energon to spare, hook him up."

"Well I don't know if I have the containment units to hold enough cover the cost..."

Rolling her eyes Gyro pulls a container from a side compartment and tosses it to him. She motions Copper to do the same and he does will muttering curses.

"There you go, primo Decepticon rations."

He looks dubious, but the look Gyro gives him says this is the best he'll get.

He sighs. "Well all right."

The three of you exit the tent, having given the Doctor three containment units of Energon.

While sitting there you had discussed what to do next. Much to Gyros' disappointment you and Copper voted to go with the Autobots. It was less then half the distance to the Autobot dropship and much safer the to of you had reasoned. Gyro had conceded in the end.

As you walk back to the large group you:

You march up to the Autobots, moving around groups of neutrals making ready to travel.

The blue one sees you first and moves to intercept you before the others notice.

"Hey there tough bot, anything I can help you with?"

You glare past his shoulder for a moment the focus on him.

"We're going with you."

"Oh really?" he says with a friendly smile.

"Yes. We need transport and you need someone more survival oriented watching your backs."

"Well alright!" he say, his smile full and genuine. He holds out a hand. "Names Streetwise."

Keeping eye contact you shake his hand.

"Kracken. These are Gyro and Copper." you say pointing to your companions.

"Good to know. We'll be leaving in thirty minutes. Be ready." he says and walks back to his group.

You move out and away from the others, Gyro and Copper close behind. Once you are surrounded by junk and empty stalls you rub your hands together.

"Alright."

You transform, the tentacles on your back fanning out and around you, lifting the torpedo shaped body of your altmode off the ground. With a rumbling growls you dive into a metal booth and devour it, the sound of tearing metal filling the air.

Gyro makes a face at your display and sits on a crate. Copper hums to himself and goes to search the area you aren't eating for anything of value.

There isn't much to Energon you can extract from the metal and plastics around you but here and there you find bits of electronics which you snap up with your tentacles and stuff into your maw.

As everyone goes about their preparations to leave a quack shakes the room causing the lights to flicker. A few cybertronians look around with worry.

As Pyro calls out to calm everyone a figure flies out of a large tunnel on the closer side of the room. A blue and yellow jet which promptly transforms.

As others take notice of the newcomer and the purple insignia on his chest he presses a button on the side of his head.

"Attention all Decepticon forces, this is your commander, Jetstorm. I have located the Autobots you all let sneak around you like VERMIN! Lock on to my coordinates, and get over here." his says loud enough for those closest to him to hear. They panick and begin running away.

"Sorry Autobots, but this is a no squatting zone. I'm going to have to ask you to leave!" he shouts with glee and activates the large turbines on his shoulders. A gale of wind emerges and tears through the shops closest to him, blowing the fleeing cybertronians over and away.

As he cackles and sweeps the windblasts over the area six more flyers emerge from the tunnel and begin strafing around the edge of the room.

You and your group are on the other side of the fleeing neutrals, the Autobots are in the middle of the two and are readying there weapons to attack.

Strategy: Grab a ship and use teleportations to orient us at other ships. When we get close to one, tear the wings off our ship, teleport to the other.

You move through an empty tent, its side flapping in the wind, and over the counter of a ramshackle stall. Once you are underneathe them you get ready...

As you move in for the attack your comrades open fire.

Gyro, after deflecting a blast with her buckler, runs forwards and fires on a flyer and and scores two hits. Blasting a turbines the Decepticon plummets but transforms on the way. Landing on his feat he quickly takes cover.

Copper uses his longer range to fire upon Jetstorm. Scoring a hit he knocks the seeker for a loop.

Jetstorm howls in rage and shoots at Copper, but the old campaigner has already moved and the lasers shred nothing but empty stalls.

The Autobots are having more luck. Pyro and Streetwise managing to bring down another flyer while the big green one blasts another to smithereens with his heavy tank mode.

Eying the strafing Decepticons you ready yourself and -zzap- you teleport directly above two. You manage to grab one but the other evades your reaching tentacles. With a roar at the captive Decepticons cockpit you yank hard to the side, angling towadrs the other flyers.

Spiraling through the air, one very panicked Decpeticon in your clutches, you roar. Its a primal thing. It speaks of millennia of rage and anger. Clenching tightly, the Con cracks then crumples, his body being torn apart be the awesome strength of your beastmode.

As he comes apart and rockets to the ground you -zzap- away. Appearing in tentacles reach of Jetstorm he stops firing, optics wide at the grinning maw before him.

You lash out, one tentacle managing to wrap around his left arm and you yank him towards you.

"Your grounded Jetstorm!" you growl in his face.

The two of you go hurtling towards the floor, his robot modes flight capabilities unable to support your combined weight.

He screams and kicks at you only to have his flailing attacks swatted away.

You roar, as loud and long as you can, dragging the Decepticon into your maw. He pushes at you with a free hand. This is a mistake. You snap at the arm, taking it up to the forearm. He screams and you chomp forward, taking it nearly up to the shoulder.

A third bite and his entire arm is now mangled scrap in your mouth. He screams and stares you right in the all black eye.

With a sudden thud the two of you slam into the ground, the impact wrenching him free of your tentacles and completely severing his arm.

You surge forward as he scrambles back and bite down on his foot. Screaming once again he activates his turbines.

The blast of wind hits you full force but does no damage. Rather, it frees Jetstorm while tearing his foot off and sends him hurtling away.

"SAVE ME YOU FOOLS!" he screams. A pair of flyers swooping low and transform to grab their commander. Another pair of grounded Con attempt to give cover fire, but one is shot by a well placed blast that blows his head off. The two who are still air born manage to grab Jetstorm and begin there retreat.

From the tunnel they originally came through a trio of purple cars roar out. On the far side of the room a large explosion erupts.

I kinda want to mop up here before we move on... but that grounded flyer isn't going to last very long against the two other Autobots. Or Copper and Gyro. But on the other hand, killing Jetstream would probably delay any further decepticon attacks here until they can get shuffle around leadership to replace him.

You roar once again. The newly arrived Decepticons, the explosions in the distance, none of them matters. There is only the hunt.

Your tentacles coil tightly and release, rocketing you forward. Jetstorm screams again as he sees you and opens fire. Only to hit nothing.

With a -zzap- you appear before him. Coiled tentacles whipping outward and smashing his rescuers away. With another pair you grab onto the injured Con and stuff him head first into your mouth.

Your teeth grind and rotate, tearing apart the screaming Con. His subordinates see the carnage and flee.

With a gulp and the shrieking sound of tearing metal you finish your meal and turn to the battle behind you.

Looking over the battle field you see the remaining flyer has been destroyed. Of the new trio you see one was destroyed before it had a chance to transform. Another is currently taking an Energy Buckler to the face, his gun held at bay by Gyros' other hand. The third is hiding behind a tin booth, Coppers' blasts punching holes around his crouching form.

In the distance you see the Autobot are pinned down behind a large pile of scrap with rapid, heavy fire slowly eroding their cover. Off to the distance another explosion goes off.

What to do.

Gyro's nimble, but she can't hold out for long in a huge fight like this if she's pinned.

"Go down slaggit!" Gyro shouts, driving the edge of her buckler into the Decepticons' face once more. His visor shatters and energon leaks from the side of his mouth.

He grits his teeth."You first Autobrat."

He shifts his weight, ready to try and throw Gyro, then finds himself suddenly up ended.
Turning his head he sees nothing but serrated teeth.

You bite down on him before he has a chance to scream; devouring his top half first, then his legs.

"Uhh, thanks chief." Gyro says then jogs to where her gun lays. Picking it up she turns to you and nods.

While you dispatched Gyros' opponent Copper managed to score a hit on the hidden Con. He now crawls slowly away, carefully keeping the cover between him and his attacker. One hand holds the wiring of his guts in.

Another explosion sounds in the distance and it seems the Autobot have made a move on their attacker as heavy laser fire shoots through tents and stalls at a rapid rate.

"Gonna get a better look at the situation. You go get Copper" you say to Gyro.

Another double shot of rifle fire rips through the Cons cover and puts him down.

"Right." she says and runs off.

You look around and spot a storehouse. It's not really very big but it's the largest thing around so you move over to it and pull yourself up with.

The sight that greets you is far from good.

A pair of Brutes are off in the distance. One who wields a repeater cannon is using its rapid fire to keep the most of the Autobots at bay. You see a blue two wheeler racing around trying to draw its fire but it keeps turning back to the scrapheap where the big green bot are still pinned. Pyro is nowhere in sight.

A second is further out and has a grenade launcher. Craters of smoking wreckage lay around it. It appears as though some neutrals are trying to fend it off but doing a poor job. You see the burn out wrecks of two individuals, a dozen more racing around either in altmodes or on foot. There small arms fire does little against the Brutes' armor.

"What do you see chief?" Gyro calls from below, Copper stomping slowly up to the storehouse while scanning the surroundings.

The Autobots knew what they were in for when they signed up with Optimus. But the neutrals are just being pulled into this because the 'cons and autobots couldn't keep their conflict from engulfing all of Cybertron. Besides, the autobots are trained soldiers or veterans of some sort. The neutrals are either civilians or law enforcement at best. And not like Kraken law enforcement.

Leaping off the storehouse you propel yourself towards the distant explosions. Copper and Gyro run along behind and beside you.

"What all th'fuss about?" Copper calls to you.

"The NAILs are being slaughtered! We have Brutes out there and they need to be stopped."

"More than one?" Gyro shouts with a worried expression.

"Not for long." you reply. Grabbing hold of her with a tentacle you wait a moment for Copper to huff his way up then teleport.

With a -zzap- you port in just a short distance away. There are shouted attempts at coordination and screams for help from all around.

There is a low thump followed by an explosion and the heavy tread of a big Con.

Copper salutes you and transforms. His small tank mode rumbles away as stealthily as possible.

You snarl and launch yourself using coiled tentacles. Jumping out into view before the Brute you snarl at him and hurl a piece of debris. He glances your way and when the junk bangs off his armor he gives you a look that asks if your being serious. He then raises his grenade launcher and fires a projectile with a thump.

It arcs and you manage to launch yourself out of the way of the following crump of an explosion.

Unfortunately the Brut hasn't turned enough to give your team a good shot.

You roar at the Brute and move sideways, managing to dodge another blast by the flick of a tentacle.

Turning slightly he smirks in your direction.

"Quit squirming you ugly little scrap heap."

You growl at that.

He hefts his gun again and you get ready to leap away when a barrage of small arms fire and debris rains down on the Brutes side, making him turn some more.

Running around off to the side are a group of NAILs doing there best to help you.

The Brutes' smirk turns into a grimace, then a snarl as your companions open fire from behind.

First one of Gyros' shot slams into his power pack, then another that's followed immediately by a cannon blast from Copper. Gyros' third shot goes narrowly misses as the Brute stumbles forward.

Watching the Brute stumble, something clicks in your predatory processor. Without a sound you lunge forward and bite on to the side of the gun. Wrapping your tentacles around the barrel of the grenade launcher and the Brutes' arm, you begin to pull.

The Brute shouts in surprise then reaches over with his free hand, only for that to get slapped away.

With a grunt and the sound of metal ripping you tear the gun away, along with a few fingers.

He bellows in anguish as another barrage of your companions laser fire strikes him from behind. He pitches forward and falls to his knees, uninjured arm holding him up.

As you look around at the frightened faces you realize, not for the first time in your life, that your one scary dude.

You transform and stand up straight. There's a sigh of relief from some and whooping cheers from others. You feel, not satisfied, but slightly less angry. Slightly.

You look to your companions.

"One more to go."

The three of you run for the Autobot position. The NAILs keep their distance but follow all the same.

You hear gunfire, but not the endless stream of noise that is a repeater cannon. This is a good sign, you think.

Coming through the mess of junk and debris that were once shacks and sales booths you see the battle.

The Brute has dropped his gun, the cannon lying on the ground with a smouldering crater in it. Pyro is on the Brutes' back. One of his arms is wrapped around the Brutes' neck, the other has his rifle wrist deep in a hole in the Brutes' power pack and he's firing for all he's worth.

Streetwise is dipping and dodging the Brutes' swinging fists as he keeps the large Con from reaching back and grabbing his commander.

The big green bot is in his altmode, a large six wheeled tank. He seems to be waiting for a clear shot.

Looking at the struggle you get an idea.

Copper transforms and revs his engine as you take a sprinters pose.

"Go."

Rocketing forward the two of you dash across open ground and fine rubble. The detritus does little to slow your sure step and couldn't hope to stop the charging tank next to you.

As you near the Brute Copper pulls ahead of you. Once he's close enough he make a short and ungraceful leap into the side of the Cons' leg, knocking him sideways.

Following, you leap up onto the Brutes' back and attempt to pull Pyro off with you. It doesn't go quit as planned however and you wind up leaving Pyros' rifle in the hole.

As the Con turns over to lift himself back up, Sideways jumps and roundhouses him across the face, making him overturn and presenting the severely damaged power pack to their big green friend.

The big Autobot takes the shot immediately, the cannon blast slamming into the pack and causing it to go off. The Brute dies in a messy and bright ball of plasma.

You set Pyro down and scowl at him as he holds his red hot hand out and away. The outer layer of his armor is bubbling and he seems to be in pain.

You look around you. Copper is standing proudly while Gyro slumps down on some scrap. Streetwise walks over to a fuming Pyro and says he needs to cool off a bit. The big green bot drives over and transforms, revealing a number of laser burn across his chassis. He doesn't seem to mind.

You see the faces of the NAILs around you, either happy at surviving or grieving for those who hadn't. You don't see one face though.

You scowl.

"Wheres the doctor?"
