Evangelyne and I do the greeting. With a final sigh I enter, Eriadne just close on my heels.

The instructor stops, and regards us, the small turn of her head making her almost floor-lenght yellow hair sway.

"Well? Show me", she sweeps her arms in a half-circle "and show the class that you *are* sorry by finding a seat and listening".

Her expression softens into something like a smile.

Eriadne squeezes her eyes shut, then nods and follow me to the row two seats from the front. "Gifts?" Of course she's gifted, but for the teacher to know that so quickly is amazing! Hm. Or maybe she meant something else?

I sit down right next to the outer wall of the room, patting the seat beside me. Eriadne does follow my invitation, but instead of looking at me stares just straight ahead. That can't be because of the apology?
