You tell your red-haired best friend about why you called her up. Specifically, about the Eversor squad you're meant to discipline. Does she know anything about them, why they're marked for censure?

"Aw, you're on paperwork duty again, huh? Man, that's rough. I literally can't think of anything more boring than paperwork." Kyoko shoots you a sympathetic look here, enough that you start to actually feel even more miserable for yourself. "Dunno why you don't just have Mami do it all for you, really. Or maybe Midorin, I bet she'd be more than happy to get all of that nasty stuff handled for ya!"

...You'll think about it, sure, but for now it's on your plate and you're dealing with it. Anyway, about that squad...?

"Ya try and help the watch-wearing dildo take the watch off but she's the one buyin' more rolexes. I don't get it." Kyoko mumbles underneath her breath, rolling her eyes, before grinning at you again as you frown at her. "Anyway, yeah, that's Heartcatch Squad. Fresh contracts that got out of basic two weeks ago, and now they're one week into the Eversor program." It's here that the red-haired Eversor takes a swig from a water bottle. "Nothin' really strange about 'em, just that Sayaka thought they were one of her more promisin' squads out of the lot until they screwed up."
>>
>>33512323

'Thought'?

"Yeah." Kyoko nods. "I mean, well, ya know how Sayaka-chan is, right? Get her mad once an' she'll think you can't do anything right in your life, forever?" She shakes her head. "Heartcatch Squad really pissed her off when they snuck in some dudes into their squad quarters. That's like, ten Officio rule violations right there, probably fifteen if you're gonna be anal about it. We also found alcohol on the guys, too, along with condoms and junk food and stuff like that." Another shake of the head, this time followed by a grimace. "Gotta tell ya, if I hadn't been there when Sayaka found them...well, you'd probably have seven more Black Envelopes to fill out, I bet."

That's...well, that's a bit extreme, isn't it? Surely Sayaka isn't that much of a hardass? These are still newbies, but--

"Well, maybe NOT to that extent, but it'd have been really bad." Kyoko frowns. "Sayaka-chan's the kind of person who really takes this thing seriously, yeah? She's not doin' this because it's fun for her or something, but because she wants all the Eversors that come from the Ninth to be, like, world-class. Top of their game. Not just over here, but any other Officio. Better'n the Sixth, the Eighth, the Second...probably even the First, but I think that's crazy. Don't tell her I said that, though."

Kyoko furtively looks around, as if expecting a blue-haired demon to pop out of nowhere, before smiling back at you sheepishly. "Anyway, I think what really got her this time was that they did this literally AFTER she praised Heartcatch Squad among all the other training squads."

...Ouch.

We are not Kharn. So what Kharn would have done is neither here nor there. While I would value Kyoko's opinion on the matter, I don't think we could stop her from giving it if we tried.

As Murderface we are no stranger to alcohol and the breaking of rules.

Of course, the difference is that we didn't actually get caught, and these suckers got caught pretty.

So, lesson 1: Don't get caught.

Murderface is a well-known drunkard and loose-cannon. She never tried to hide it. The closest thing she ever got actively hiding those qualities was by retreating to timestop for a few days, because she got tired of all the people running after her.

For punishment, I've got a few ideas.

Free time/Leave indefinitely suspended. Their soul gems are to be confiscated and bodies kept in cold storage when not training or on duty.
If they do not immediately submit themselves to their given escorts after an assignment, their pay will be docked per paycheck for every half-hour they are unaccounted for. If one is missing, they will all suffer the one's punishment.
They will have the chance to appeal for a lighter punishment on two violations, which shall be reviewed by their rank leader. If insufficient justification and/or supporting evidence is presented (Trying to weasel out of further punishment) their appeal will be denied and punishment may be increased.
Their punishment will last for 4 weeks, but may be lessened or extended on the word of their rank leader based on their behavior, though the final say will go to the Warmaster.

Anime: able to defeat primordial chaos and exorcise it from the Sailor of the Galaxy by not fighting her, big healing redemption power.

Manga: defeats primordial chaos after walking off being dumped into the core of a star and shrugging off having her existence unwritten. Implied to also be Sailor Cosmos, empowered by the whole of many galaxies. Theoretically on a power scale equatable to the final battle of TTGL, but more compassionate and less quick to violence.

Hnh. Well, Sayaka basically bitching herself to an early grave aside, what would Kyoko do if she was in your shoes? What kind of punishment would she hand out to Heartcatch Squad?

"Eh? What would I do?" Kyoko blinks, pointing at herself. She frowns in contemplation here, brow furrowing as she crosses her arms over her sports bra-clad chest.

"Well...community service, for a start? Pickin' up garbage around the town, an' then helping with Housekeeping in the Officio. Give 'em a week, maybe two. After that, another week of cafeteria duty washin' dishes and assistin' the cooks. Then suspend leave rights for two weeks."

That's how she'd punish them, then?

"It's how I'd do it, yeah. I mean, yeah, what they did was really stupid, but then again..." Kyoko shrugs. "It's their first offense, an' they ARE still newbies, Murderface. Everyone's done something stupid while still gettin' used to the costume an' the contract. I've done stuff, Kharn's done a LOT of stuff...I bet Sayaka-chan's done stuff too, although she always clams up whenever I try and ask." She nods again, opening her one eye, staring right at you. "Anyway, yeah, I think they should just get stuck with some dirty grunt duty, just to make sure it really sinks in that what they did was wrong, but nothing...permanent, you know? Everyone deserves a second chance to clean up and do things right, is what I'm saying."

...Yeah. Maybe.

What about Kharn? What would your predecessor have done?

"Kharn?" Kyoko blinks again. "Uh, well, I don't pretend to know what she's completely about, but..." The red-haired Eversor reaches up to scratch the back of her head.

>>
>>33513104

"Um...jeez, I don't know. Maybe she'd have them run around Headquarters in their underwear? Kharn was really big into the whole humiliation and domination thing...maybe have them serve as human footrests for an entire week? I know she did that with a few girls, I dunno. 'Sides, only one of them is actually blonde, so..."

Alright. That's...yeah, that's enough. You can probably imagine the rest. You don't need to know more.

"Yeah, that's...Kharn was really something else." Kyoko shakes her head, smiling in relief. "We're really glad you're not turning out exactly like her, ya know!"

Is that right?

"Of course!" Kyoko's smile turns into a cheerful grin.

Well. Now you know what they would've done, at least.

Is there anything else you want to ask? While you have no doubt Kyoko would talk to you until sundown, you can see she's also itching to get back to training.

Consider the following:

Red Culexus walked into a church and blew out every girl's soul gem.

THAT is why this is kind of a big deal. Imagine if she could repeat that, here, in the ninth building?

And that is why delivering THESE envelopes, in particular, is a good punishment.
>>

The Red Culexus teleported in, bypassing any security they had short of a Silent Room's anti-magic field.

The rules that the Eversors broke has absolutely nothing to do with how the girls at the Church were killed.

No matter how respectfull they might be, its still a punishment and the people are going to know that.

I could see it being bad for morale when it becomes common knowledge that as far as the Warmaster is concerned, letting their parents and loved ones know they died is such a chore that its used as punishment duty and done by those that screw up their jobs badly enough to deserve punishment.

We already had Sayaka previously complain about the fact that we don't remember the dead (even if its not really our fault).

Is it really wise to basically let everyone know that if they die in the line of duty, their parents will be informed of their deaths by the first rulebreaker the Warmaster manages to find, rather than having tha matter be treated with dignity and respect.

That depends.

It could work both ways.

This wouldn't be punishment - it's redemption. "You fucked up. This is your chance to redeem yourself. If you fuck this up....you will never fuck up again. Anywhere."
>>
>>33513500
And if they do that, they lose their kneecaps every day for a month.
>>
>>33513487
"You got caught fucking off. Okay. It's a one off. Everyone screws up once. I can understand it. Hell, i might have done somethign like it. Don't let it happen againb. But now I have a duty for you. It requires the utmost care, attention, and respect. Take care of this with the attention to duty, the respect, and the honor it deserves, and you'll have redeemed yourself in my eeyes. This isn't a punishment. Punishment is what happens when you fuck up.

Don't. Fuck. Up. Again."
>>
>>33513526
I would prefer it if the _punishments_ for screwups made by people in the officio did NOT include uninvolved civilians who are grieving for their lost children. There is basically no benefit in sending the ones who fucked up to meet these people.

There are others punishments that would work better, and which would not risk a PR nightmare.
>>
>>33513544
Chiaki may not have a Skull Throne, but she does have a nice Kneecap Coaster collection.
>>
>>33513557
>There is basically no benefit in sending the ones who fucked up to meet these people.
The benefit is for the screwups.
>>
>>33513556
And then someone will fuck up. It will inevitably happen if this were to become standard practise.

And while we could then kill the megucas responsible or shoot their kneecaps or whatever, it would not change the fact that it would be Chiakis huge fuckup in setting up the practise that would have caused grieving people to be exposed to the whole mess.
>>
>>33513557

Indeed, making mortuary duty a punishment only implies that it's something that is brushed off on those who can't do their normal jobs without screwing up. Telling loved ones that their daughters are dead is a duty reserved for those with the proper emotional and professional training, who can offer a shoulder to lean on or punch on if need be. It is NOT a job for fuck-ups, and is NOT to be used as a punishment.

Please, let's drop this line of discussion and get back to more normal forms of punishment like kneecapping, or having Mami tell them she's disappointed in them.
>>
>>33513585
Tthe screwups deserve less consideration than the loved ones of deceased Megucas who died in the line of duty.

I'm sorry but I think you are currently tumblr levels of political correctness.

>letting their parents and loved ones know they died is such a chore that its used as punishment duty

As opposed to just sending the envelopes via mail? You think making girls who messed up deliver those as a character-building-exercise is more offending than getting envelope that your son/daughter died?

For fucks sake, anon, being the one who came up with that punishment idea in the last thread, I didn't see it as much as punishment as more of brush with mortality. Something that usually makes people think whatever they want it or not and I think more than physical punishment or speech by Chiaki that would be rather out of character, showing them how they might end up and making them re-evaluate their own opinions about who they are now is the better way.

Death is all part of being a meguca whether you like it or not.
>>
>>33513618

>>

>>
>>33513613
The screwups are still living and learning.

We need to make them into people who are worthy of the sacrifice of the dead, and this is the first step in that.

What is the greater disrespect? Correcting the wayward, or pretending that they don't exist?
>>
>>33513628

In case you haven't noticed there are people here who thought ''hurr durr throne of kneecaps SO FANNY'' is a good and hilarious idea.
>>
>>33513660
You could always correct the wayward in a better way by choosing a more reasonable punishment. That way, everyone wins!
>>
>>33513624
>showing them how they might end up and making them re-evaluate their own opinions about who they are now is the better way.
All it shows them is that they could die at any time, even if they follow all of the rules.
That the rules won't protect them, that they can still be killed senselessly, and that their time is limited; that's not even getting to the fact that only 10% of Magical Girls survive to collect their pension.

It only reinforces the idea that they should get all of their fun now, rather than holding off, because they don't know when they'll die.
>>
>>33513628

Then that I will disagree with.

The reason why we're handing out this mission to them is to drive home to possible consequences when regulations are flouted. One of the reasons why they're getting this is because they're a new squad for whom the need for security has yet to sink in. That and they appear to be a promising squad.

A mission like this will sober them up to we cannot afford lapses like this.

If it was a line squad flouting the rule, they should be dealt with in accordance with precedence and the officio's rules and regulations normally.
>>
>>33513690
>drive home to possible consequences when regulations are flouted
Except the deaths at the Church had absolutely NOTHING to do with breaking rules or regulations. There is no connection between what Heartcatch Squad did, and the deaths of the girls at the Church, except that they're in the same Officio.
>>
>>33513689
>they don't know when they'll die.
on the contrary, we should make sure that they know EXACTLY when they'll die.

The next time they're forced to step into the Warmaster's office by their Rank Leader.
>>
>>33513690
It fits a bit poorly though. I mean since the people who are dead did NOT flout regulations or anything like that, and still died.

I would probably agree with you if the dead were dead because of a fuckup, since then the message would work.

But now, the message is, "obey regulations, do your job well, practise strong discipline and as a reward for your diligence you will STILL die".

Does not really work, and as others have pointed out, is more likely to just convince them that its pointless and they might aswell have fun before they die.

I'll step out of the conversation of the Death-notice delivery service with this: I just don't want uninvolved persons caught up in our punishments. Exactly. Death is everywhere in a magical girl's life. You might die on a mission. You might die in your sleep. You might die while eating ice-cream at your surprise birthday party which was happening in that creamery on the corner of 8th and Main.

It's part of what being a magical girl is, and it's a lesson they could stand to learn so that they stop fucking around like this.
>>
>>33513969
And it doesn't even do that job that well, since the wall of dead magical girls is a much better example.
And we're saying that your intended lesson would be overridden by the realization that since they can die at anytime, and that they don't know when they'll die except that it's much more likely to be sooner than later, that they should take the opportunity to enjoy themselves.

However, it is a much more visceral thing if they have to deliver the black letters and deal with it themselves, and these are the black letters we have handy. Handing out the black letters was not meant as a lesson about following the rules. It's meant as a visceral reminder that magical girls die everyday and that they should take their jobs more seriously in the future.
>>
>>33514063
>>33514069
I agree with this. And its 300.

You've all been saying the same thing over and over again, and you aren't getting nowhere. Shut up and agree to disagree.
>>
>>33514055
That's a false logic, because the fact is they're more likely to survive such incidents, not more likely to die.

Death doesn't come easily to magical girls. Pain, on the other hand, comes with the territory.

They survived their fuckup. They should be glad they survived it. Not everyone is as lucky as they were.
>>
>>33514069
>doesn't even know the bump limit of the board
>>
>>33514027
So let me get this straight.

First you are arguing that making Megucas deliver deathcards personally as a punishment is bad despite it having a good reason to be used for some self-reflection.
Yet forcing them to go mourn for a wall of dead girls they don't even care about is supposed to work better?

How about you sit down for a minute, think about what your actual opinion on this matter is BEFORE arguing about it.
Because quite frankly I get the feeling that you have no fucking clue what your own opinion is about.

Well, just one thing more before you'll let her go, then. Since you can see how she's dying to run her trainees into the ground.

"Hah!" Kyoko guffaws, before looking back at the gasping, wheezing trainees limping through their laps. "Naw, it just looks that way, but this is actually the easy part of the Eversor program."

'Easy'?

"Yeah! See, when you're still freshly contracted, your body's still adjusting to being a Magical Girl and stuff. Sure, you can hit harder and run faster, but since you've been used to your body's limitations for your entire life, your brain thinks that you're at your limit - even when you're really not. So you get wheezy and exhausted and sweat a whole lot because your brain is tellin' you that you gotta slow down or you'll die. "

She gestures towards the tableau behind her. "Part of the Eversor program's to train that impulse outta you, to get through that mental barrier so you can fight longer and fight harder and do all kinds of crazy stuff."

Huh. That's...well. That still sounds pretty brutal, though, you note as one of the trainees suddenly totter off the track, one hand clamped over the mouth - probably rushing off-camera to throw up.

"Well, I guess it sorta is? But it's really basic stuff, so it's not really all that hard. Just takes a bit of willpower." A sticky, splashing sound, and Kyoko turns to the side, where the trainee had staggered off to. "There, see?! That's why we make you bring your own fucking buckets! Sharing is unhygienic and super GROSS!"

...Right. Well, about what you wanted to ask her about...

"Yeah? What is it, Murderface?"

And it's here that you share your idea of punishment with the Eversor. About how you aim to have Heartcatch Squad deliver the Black Envelopes personally, to the families of the departed. The families of the girls that the Prophet had murdered.

>>
>>33514194

Kyoko is speechless for a moment, and her voice is quiet when she speaks. "...Whoa. That's...well, yeah, that's pretty cold-blooded, Murderface." She pauses again, looking at you directly, as if contemplating something. "I think no one's ever done that before. As punishment, anyway. Usually it's a volunteer kinda thing, or Mami does it herself." She nods here. "Yeah, I think...I think that'd work. It's a harsh kinda thing, but I think something that sobering is pretty good, too? They're gonna have to deal with it eventually. It's a part of being a Magical Girl."

She thinks it's a good idea, then?

"I wouldn't say it's a good idea? I mean, just seeing one of those things sends a chill up my spine, ya know?" Kyoko shakes her head, shivering. "But it's something that...well, something Malal would've come up with, Murderface, is what I'm saying."

...Yeah?

"Yeah. Definitely."
You glance back down at the sleeping arms dealer curled up on your lap, brushing her hair away from her eyes - and it's here that you finish the call, thanking Kyoko for her input. She can get back to torturing newbies once she sends Heartcatch Squad up to your office.

"AW, don't say it like that!" Your best friend laughs. "Right, I'll send them over right this second! See you later, Murderface!" She turns her back on the screen, voice rising into another roar. "HEARTCATCH SQUAD! FRONT! AND! CENTE--"

A tap of your laptop's keyboard and the call disconnects, leaving your office silent once more. Well, except for Misaka snoring, that is.

It doesn't take long at all for voices to suddenly be audible behind your office door. Worried, hesitant voices propped up with uncertain bravado. You hear one of them murmur something about how you used to be blind drunk, and how you'd be sympathetic to them at least.

Well. Being Warmaster doesn't exactly extinguish your past reputation, does it?

A few moments more, and you hear one of them knock. "Warmaster?" Someone speaks up, a rather shaky voice but commendably still formal. "This is Eversor Hanasaki Tsubomi of Heartcatch Squad. We're...we're reporting for censure."

Too far probably.

You tell them to hold on for a moment as you stand up carefully from your chair - gathering up Misaka in your arms as you do so. This of course nets you a rather querulous 'Of course, Warmaster' and more hushed chatter behind your door - things you ignore as you carry Misaka to your own personal quarters, lying her down onto the oversized bed that Kharn may have done a lot of punishing and censuring in her time.

It's after drawing up the covers around your sleeping arms dealer and giving her a final pat on the head that you take your place once more behind your desk.

A freshly-lit cigarette between your lips as you pull the stack of Black Envelopes in front of you, along with Heartcatch Squad's printouts. Placing both piles side by side, to make it appear that you've been working on them the entire time (and you have).

Taking a long, slow drag from your cigarette - making them wait just a bit longer, until they're teetering at the sphincter-clenching, clammy-handed edge of terror and impatience - and it's here that you finally call out to them. Telling them to come in, and to close the door behind them.

They do so. Seven girls, with varying heights and hair colors - it looks like a fucking rainbow here - files into your office, each one wearing the black jogging pants and training jacket with the sewn-on emblem of the IX Officio Assassinorum.

All of them looking relieved at being given a reprieve from Kyoko's brutal training session - while at the same time looking absolutely wretched at being thrown to the wolves, so to speak. Their leader apparently is the pink-haired one of the group, Hanasaki Tsubomi. Yeah. You have her profile right here. Hand-to-hand specialist, same as Kumatora.

...Actually, wait. You look down briefly at their profiles, leafing through them one by one.

They're ALL hand-to-hand specialists? Huh. Figure that.

[1/2]
>>
>>33515228

You return the salute after making a show of inspecting their salutes critically. You hear one of them - the shortest of the seven, with long bright blue hair - murmur something underneath her breath. The rolling of her eyes quick enough that anyone not looking would've missed it.

Heh. This almost feels nostalgic.

What do you do now?

[]Begin by telling them about your impeccable sense of hearing, and then ask about their version of the events that got them here.

Gotta save the silence-til-they-crack for the big cases. This is bad, but we're already about to mollywop them with this punishment.

Maybe add a casual after-the-fact response to the "blind drunk" and the eyeroll AFTER you've dismissed them, to let them know they could have had it so much worse if they hadn't caught us on a good day.

When I went through the archives I saw someone wanted to do something with MGNQ and MUGEN but I don't think they ever did?

I was unable to find anything at least.

Pretty sure there are original Madoka MUGENs as well as Grief Syndrome ones, and it would be pretty awesome to have a few of the MGNQ peoples in there like Kharn and Chiaki or some alternates of the others, like Gun-sword Bitch Sayaka or Berserk Kiraka.

I have no talent though.

Black has always been good on me. Not sure why everyone thinks that, but it's what I was given constantly since nobody else would wear it. It's just something that I've gotten used to, and if it fits me then it works fine. The problem is being in southern California during...
No, it doesn't even need to be spring or summer. It's hot year round, which is partly why I'm second-thinking this "date". It's not even as much of a date as it is walking around downtown with somebody else; the only problem is that this peculiar "somebody else" has been quite fond of me ever since I got into this magical girl thing.
But I'd best not start getting on the track on not keeping my word. I know where that leads people.
No long hair to brush, no fancy shoes or clothing to wear, no makeup to spend fruitless hours upon and I've got all my belongings in my bag. Much quicker than the stereotype we're usually given, though I think I'm breaking a lot of them already. One last look at the empty, barren room to confirm that everything is put away and fine, and I'm out the door.
Out into the streets where Izzy waits for me.

I heard from her of the incident last night; Gina found a witch barrier in the slums and asked her for help. They got it down together but Gina was noticeably... shaken from the whole ordeal. I'm worried about her as much as she is, but I've also been with Gina enough to know she can get through this on her own. I can tell she's stronger than she thinks she is; she constantly shrugs off big accomplishments as foolish endeavors and dangerous risks she took, but never acknowledges her own power.

Maybe that's one thing the cat freak is trying to-

"Ah, Sami~! You're here!" I'm immediately flanked from starboard by a large woman and her chest, and there's nothing I can do to resist it.

"I did say i would come..." She giggles and ruffles my hair, hate it when she does that, Gina does it at least with some dignity.

"But it's always so tense until I see you keeping to your word! I was almost expecting you to stay home and be like 'oh, i forgot about today' or 'sorry, i'm feeling a bit sick today'." She's grabbing my shoulders tightly at this point, probably imagining me pulling something along those lines right now and trying to get away.

"If I did that you would probably just raid my house." Any resistance I put up to push myself away from her leads to nothing, so I just change the subject. "So, where are we going first?"

"So eager to start are you~?" Now she begins acting like a child; nearly hopping on her feet as she takes my hands and begins walking. "Then we're going this way!"
>>
>>33515669
"Is Gina doing alright?" I wanted to contact her myself in the morning but I remembered that she's usually one to sleep in. Usually wakes up at around one in the afternoon, strange girl.

"She's been better, but this isn't her worst either. She'll be fine so don't worry about her." The head patting is completely unnecessary. "It's so nice that she has a friend like you around~."

Hmm? "I thought -we- were her friends."

"Oh? I saw myself more like a tutor and mentor for Gina than anything else. If she sees me as a friend then that's fine, so long as I get a few gifts every now and then~." She gleefully chimes this while getting uncomfortably close to me.

"Hey, the closer you get to me, the more people are going to stare." Doesn't even help that people are looking at us in the first place, and not just -her-.

"Oh, they can stare all they want, so long as nobody lays a hair on my Sami~."

Brilliant.

"Ah, we're here!"

I assume 5 of the 7 are Pink, Blue, Yellow, Violet and Black, but who are the other two based on?
>>
>>33515692
"Didn't have any better ideas I assume?" I question Izzy after we sit down at a table at this... lunch place. They don't even serve full-on meals, just some sandwiches, soup and tea. They don't even offer grilled cheese sandwiches or anything unhealthy. I don't think this would be too great of a place to bring someone for a date.

"I personally think you're starting to run a bit dry on your offensive remarks..." Ah, a bit of her more serious side showed itself. But just as quickly she's back to her happy state. "But~, I decided on this because I didn't want to show off for my first date. That can come later~."

First... date?

"So you plan on dragging me out more often in the future?"

"Whenever possible!" Izzy chimes happily as she squeezes... me a bit to... closely...

God damn it this is just like the classic anime thing where-

"Ah- hey!" I finally manage to wriggle free after lightly jabbing her sides, though her reaction was more, laughter? May be ticklish...

"Ah, haha! Don't, save this for later!" Watching this full-grown woman lose herself over my actions...

Maybe I should stop. She'll get me for this later.

"Here, aaaaaahn~."

"It's soup, I don't think you can do it like that. Plus it's really hot, I can't stand anything liquidity and scaldingly hot like coffee and hot tea."

Of course, she doesn't listen to me and continues on her attempt to feed me -her- food. She got a regular broccoli soup while I opted for a sandwich, and it's led to a situation with her holding out a spoon to me across the table while I'm already biting down on a sandwich. She should get the point right now, if she was any normal person. But of course, this is -her-.

"Come on Sami, don't leave me hanging~." At this point I'm finding it impressive that she can hold her arm out steady for so long without spilling a drop. Vindicare training? I don't even know anymore.

"I'm not taking one drop of your soup until you taste it yourself. It's a waste of food." I can hear her groan in disappointment as I continue to eat my sandwich, but I eventually hear her beginning to drink her soup. Or is it eating her soup? It's technically food, right?

"Okay, I took a sip! Aaaaaaahhn~"

Help me. Please.

Why are blue-haired girls such utter bitches?
>>
>>33515744
"You're just too cute to pass up with that! You should realize this by now how I'm gonna be with you~."

A long time ago I came to the conclusion that I was, indeed cute and decided to expand upon it. Now, I'm beginning to regret ever doing that, being held in her arms on a bench.

"That doesn't help, especially when you specifically take me to an empty park in the middle of the city. I'm this close to leaving you, and I'm sure most people my age with a brain would have ran away when they connected the dots."

"Oh, then why haven't you ran away yet, hmm~?"

You can answer that yourself with your arms and chest locking my head in place like a child.

I can't fault Izzy to a point, though. She did contract herself after one of her closest friends died. She couldn't protect her or something like that. I didn't care for specifics when I heard about it, but I know that she has me now as that special thing. As much as I don't really-

"This is cute and all but your playtime is over. Now."
(6/9)
>>
>>33515610
Will we have a chance to talk to the three stooges sometime soon?
>>
>>33515770
I could feel Izzy immediately tense up, then let me go from her grasp. We both rise from the bench quickly to face another girl with a gang of men behind her. Nothing really flashy about her, though the clothes she wore had this "bad girl" feel about her. Not good situation right now.

"I don't think it would be wise for you to approach any further." Izzy speaks calmly, but I can tell she's not only irritated by the interruption but also doing her best to be threatening.

"Oh, please. Two flirty sparkies like you ain't my time. I can go back where I was for all that shit." Her tone shows she's up to something, and with everything the guys behind her have, I can feel my senses itching to lunge out and fight. But, as I've been taught by Gina, going second has its advantages. "Just came here to make a little point to ya. And ya." She states by pointing to us both.

"And that'd be?" I speak before Izzy can. I'm far less intimidating than her, but the two of us together should send a stronger message.

"You can't win what you and your little group of friends are getting into. The UAA is always gonna come out of top, no matter how hard you sparkies fight back. Hope ya took your history class to learn that!"

"I don't know what conflict you're talking about." Izzy hisses at them. She's switched now; I can see it in her face. "But I will do whatever it takes to defend my friends!"

"Oh, so words aren't enough? Okay then." She turns around and walks away, the mob parting itself for her. "Show them what I mean. I'm done here."
(7/9)
>>
>>33515802
They ran. Once the order was given they ran blindly to us, holding swords, bats, knives, batons and all sorts of weapons. The lucky ones were immediately killed with the first round of Izzy's projectiles.

"Go Sami!"

Then it was my turn. It took less than a second to transform, and the next moment my ribbons flew out to the closest targets. Razor sharp edges parry away any threatening advances and cur through their skin. Blood flies and stains my dress but I manage to see though the crowd, and there's a lot more coming.

"There's more coming!" I warn Izzy as she readies more knives and builds up her power. Her... projectiles, as I can't tell if they're even knives anymore, pierce right through the clothes and flesh of everyone that comes in its path, then bends its direction once nobody was left in its path.

It clicks again within me, that instinct trained into Eversors. Or maybe it's just me, but as my vision fades into combat, my legs, arms and ribbons knowing where to move, I know this battle has been won.

Yeah why is art of Wendy always lewd, seemingly no matter who is drawing it? I feel like she is one of the more tragic and serious characters.

I would very much enjoy seeing something more fitting for her, preferably with a lot of blood.
>>
>>33515843
We're both nearly out of breath as the dust settles. In the end more came than we were expecting. But considering how they fought us, they weren't trained to be fighting magical girls. I have a few nicks and scratches as does Izzy but in the end it turned out a lot better than it could have been.

"Call Gina, she should be at HQ." I keep a lookout of the surrounding area. There's no telling if this was her true assault or just a fluke to hit us harder later."If this 'conflict' is coming, the officio would be talking about it." I hear Izzy working with the phone and beginning to call her.

"Gina, this is Izzy. You alright? We were just attacked by some people from the UAA and-" Izzys expression freezes as she listens on the other side.

"What is it?" They're well gone by now so I let my guard down. Izzy nods and replies with a "Take care then" before ending the call. "I think I know now why this is happening." She turns to me with the news.

"Wendy Cooldown is dead."

"Ugh, yes," said Emma. "How did that magical girl noir thing go, earlier?"

"It was fine," said Ayane. "I slept through part of it, actually."

Emma swallowed a mouthful of popcorn half-chewed. That— what. "…Oh, okay," she said as casually as possible. "What'd you miss?"

"Not sure," said Ayane. She reached over to get more popcorn. "I was really confused when Chiaki— the main character — ended up shooting this one guy from the beginning of the vid."

"Did you ever figure it out?"

"Oh, well, as it turns out, he was the baddie's agent all along. Bit of a shock actually, he was quite the gentleman up till then."
